I was truly amazed at how good the food tasted. Roasted best salad with vegan blue cheese the soups were all 5 Star with excellent service in a clean quaint setting. Recommend to anyone who is health-minded is a vegan or want to try some really good food that's healthy and has no dairy or meat

I have been going to Eunice Gourmet Cafe for years. But the sandwich and the friendly service I got today needed a 5 star review. It's not just people work here friendly and helpful but interestingly their customers are so nice too. I'm going to share the photo of my sandwich, you should try it, really good job. I highly recommend this place, nice place in a nice neighborhood.

On Solano, so parking can be a little tricky, but definitely worth a try. Good coffee, and a small but tasty looking menu. I had a breakfast sandwich that was made fresh and tasted so.

Having business with a Master Groomer visiting from Japan, we stayed in Berkeley for three days and this "find" of a cafe became our go-to place each late morning for a wonderful meal. Great sandwiches, egg dishes, and delicious coffee and pastries. What's not to like!! You will NOT be disappointed to go to Eunice Cafe. Perfect!

Best place to order sandwiches in this whole area, Albany, CA. It is quick, affordable and nicely wrapped. Parking is free up to 90 minutes. Recomend!!!

This place is absolutely fantastic! I'm a bagel enthusiast and have tried many around town, but this spot stands out among the rest. We sampled a variety of their offerings, including the Tuna Melt with Cheddar, Chicken Wrap with Tahini Sauce, Turkey Ham, Swiss on Croissant, and Grilled Chicken Breast with Mozzarella—each one was a flawless addition to our day. We grabbed two for a quick bite on our day trip, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice because all four of them were incredibly delicious. The taste, saltiness, and freshness, along with the aromatic blend of the meats and veggies, were spot on. Everything about the experience was just right. We loved it so much that we came back for another visit, and I think my partner might have already snuck in for more. The combination of flavors, quality, and overall experience has made this our go-to spot. We're both smitten with this place and can't wait to indulge in more of their delightful creations!

Outstanding Yemeni coffee. Medium roast, full bodied, low acid. Amazing mix of flavor tones and balance. If you are a connoisseur of coffees, stop by this place. How lucky are we to have half a dozen coffee shops within a few blocks of here. This one definitely can hold it's own!

The staff is Super friendly, the food is so good to and their coffee is extremely good as well, and the neighborhood is extremely family friendly

The sandwiches here are delicious! Love how unassuming the place is and how kind the owner is. He knows so many of his customers by name and their order—it’s really sweet. It’s clearly a neighborhood favorite (gets busy on the weekends) Definitely coming back!

Just walked here to check out their coffee and it’s interesting. Barista is very friendly and the place is clean. Tasting Yemen coffee for the first time. Open and appreciative of the opportunity without going to Yemen. Very happy that there is a steady stream of customers coming and some are obviously regulars because the barista knew their names.

I can tell it's filling a role in the community as it was pretty popular with retired regulars. Has a variety of inoffensive uncomplicated items on the menu, and one of the only businesses serving food in this part of Albany before 11am on a weekday (which is why I went). Can't say I thought it was particularly good or for me though. I can tell most of the ingredients were the pre-prepared Sysco type stuff we'd get delivered at my old pizza place job, so the bread wasn't fresh baked and ingredients weren't particularly high quality. But, nothing was truly bad either. There's certainly a place for an unfussy cafe like that in any neighborhood but I didn't love that it cost me about as much as Picnic down the street for a much lower quality product. Most of the menu items weren't any cheaper than a lot of the speciality coffee, sandwiches, and other food in the area. So it didn't feel great to spend $32 on two sandwiches with nothing else that don't hit ikes quality. Service was pretty slow too. Ended up waiting 20 minutes for my sandwiches to be made and it wasn't that busy. I get the whole made fresh angle but it didn't really translate to better quality food and makes me wonder if there's some better food prep that can be done in advance. There's only a few tables on the inside and a few tables outside so the cafe-and-chat element seems to be missing vs similar cafes I've been to. So not sure what the draw was for that kind of activity when I was there this morning. It'd be awfully hard to find a seat here with someone if you wanted to meet up for a chat.

The gentleman working in there I'm assuming he is the owner, was super friendly, I asked him about the hot pastrami and he said it was good. So when he handed me the sandwich the first thing I noticed was it was small, so when I got it home and unrapped it, it hardly had any meat, the flavor was decent but, seriously?! I'm reminded of the old Wendy's commercial "where's the meat!" Maybe you need to charge a little more, or at least make it worthwhile, because I told him it was my first time, obviously he doesn't want return customers 🙄 I'm adding an edit on this review because I used my credit card there and by an odd coincidence 😏my credit card had fraudulent charges on it later that day! Between that and the stingy amount of meat, never again!

didn't understand why this place has such a high rating. 30 bucks for two sandwiches that I can get with maybe 15 around Berkeley campus which definite has better taste. It didn’t provide a better dining environment than the typical fast food places either Way overpriced and not worth it IMO

The bread was NOT fresh, the lettuce was wilted, and the horseradish was either not flavorful, or so light, I could hardly taste it. I like my Roast Beef a little rare, but this was prepackaged processed roast beef. While this Cafe is close to my home, I will not be going back.

The bread was NOT fresh, the lettuce was wilted, and the horseradish was either not flavorful, or so light, I could hardly taste it. I like my Roast Beef a little rare, but this was prepackaged processed roast beef. While this Cafe is close to my home, I will not be going back.
