After showing vaccination verification, seated in cozy area, excellent customer service, my meal is salad w/salmon & other stuff chicken w/sides were delicious and cocktails. Ms. Lara stopped by to say hello & overall just a positive evening vibe. Free-Parking is available.

First time going. Very impressed with serice, the food and hospitality. Asked for a window seat with view near heater, they actually gave me what I asked for. First time since C-19 we get this caliber of service. Going back next week again.

Fabulous Friday dining! We had a table overlooking the water...beautiful. Our server, Rebecca, gave us excellent advice on our entrees, and we had the pork chop (husband) and mushroom chicken (me). Mmmm.... The food was beyond expectation! The carrot cake was decadent. We will definitely be back!

This was our first to the area and we had an incredible experience at Lara’s Fine Dining in Richmond! Our group of 14 was celebrating a birthday, and everything from the food to the service was absolutely top-notch. The ambiance was perfect for a special occasion, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. A huge shoutout to our server, Oscar, who went above and beyond to make the evening smooth, fun, and memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and managed our large party with ease and professionalism. Everyone in our group raved about their meals — from the appetizers to the desserts, every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Thank you, Lara’s, for making our celebration so special. We look forward to returning the next time we’re in town 😋.

Had a delicious brunch/lunch. Will bring guests there for a seafood or meal to brag about as a California must experience time. Couldn't find one thing wrong The best tasting steak so juicy and cooked to perfection, salmon was outstanding, the clam chowder tasty, Prawn cocktail. Omg... Chocolate moose, and cheese cake was delicious. Everything was perfect

First time there! The restaurant's facade, reminiscent of a lighthouse, rigth in front of the marina, immediately catches the eye. Inside, the ambiance is casual yet charming, with a seaside European vibe. The tables are elegantly draped in white tablecloths, and the staff are exceptionally attentive, friendly, and accommodating. We started cocktails in the bar area, separated by a staircase in a different room. It is equipped with a TV and lively locals were having drinks, but there are quieter tables around and we sat in one to have a few tasty cocktails before dinner. We has the seafood stew with pasta and the scallop dish. Both were incredibly fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. The highlight of our meal was listening to live piano tunes while sering people get up to dance along with having the waiter bring up an old-school dessert cart. Of course we went for it! By the way, their carrot cake and chocolate mousse...divine! We will return on a special ocasion.

I can't say enough how impressed I am with this place has the most clean friendly atmosphere I've ever experienced! The service is absolutely amazing here! When I first walked up the lady was extremely kind and gave us the entire tour of the restaurant and gave us a little Back stories and names of each rooms. We found an amazing seat by three open Windows next to a fireplace overlooking the water and sailboats absolutely breathtaking. We ordered the Catch of the Day and the crab shrimp raviolis and we couldn't eat them fast enough so unfortunately I couldn't even take pictures. We tried several cocktails that were extremely professionally made perfectly Blended. If I could give this place 10 Stars I will give it 20 Stars. I will definitely be coming back to this place as much as I possibly can I am new to the area and this is hands down my favorite place! Everyone here was extremely professional and friendly when we came to dessert time they rolled up with an extremely beautiful well-designed organized cart with all the options for desserts freshly made so you can see exactly what you're getting my mind was absolutely blown at this point they also had absolutely great recommendations that I took each and every one of them and was extremely impressed with all of them. I highly recommend bringing anyone here from kids to family to loved ones you will not be disappointed can't wait to come here at night before they have a beautiful light displays all around the restaurant. Also in this review I want to give a huge shout out to our waiter Alex who was an absolute pleasure! This guy must live and breathe find on him because I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and presentation! He was able to give us the best recommendations some stuff was not even on the menu! This was our first time and this guy blew my expectations out of the water!

What a gem! I made a reservation for a party of 15, and they were so accommodating with letting us split the check 3 ways. Food was wonderful and the staff was incredibly friendly. And at the end of the meal, Lara came and sang to the table!

Great view of water front, very friendly staffs in very professional attires, great food, especially daily freshly made pasta dishes, very clean restaurant. Everything was superb!

First-time but definitely not the last. Marcus provided excellent service and the food was great. We went on a Saturday so there was a live piano player. I highly recommend 👌🏿.

I had the perfect meal here last March 20, 2025. I told my daughter right before I left that I was going there to celebrate. When I got there, the hostess had a gift certificate for me from my daughter! So I got to order wonderful oysters on the half shell and champagne and then fish of the day, sea bass with a wonderful delicate sauce and a substitute arugula for the spinach from the waiter's suggestion because of my equivocating on the menu choices. The service was just right, the view of the harbor was excellent from the big windows. A wonderful place to celebrate!

This was such a welcoming spot. You can come dressed up or dressed down. The food's wonderful and the fish is extremely fresh.

I’ve been craving the clam chowder and they did not disappoint! Good wine selection will be back for sure.

One of my favorite restaurants and I love how they have a vegan entree. The vegan eggplant Parmesan is excellent.

Been here twice and never disappointed. The food is amazing. Love love love the clam chowder and I consider myself a connoisseur of the stuff. Great location with views of the marina. Will definitely be going back.

My husband and I have visited this restaurant over the years in its various identities. On Valentines Day, we’d made a Oceanside table reservation. It was very busy but our hostess, Sylvana, was attentive, gracious, professional and lovely, and got us the table we asked for. The evening offered a prix fixe menu and we enjoyed the fresh sea bass and shrimp. Table service was flawless and friendly, which is kind of amazing for a busy “date night” vibe. I enjoyed the brewed decaf, which is often not the case. For the “four stars” on atmosphere, I found the lighting a tad too bright but, to be fair, there were many families and seniors who benefitted from that. Well done, Lara’s!

This place is an absolute gem. The restaurant is so elegant and has an amazing view, but is still affordable. Everything I've had on the menu is excellent -- incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked and deliciously seasoned. Some of my favorite dishes are the impossible burger, crab salad, and all of the pastas. The deserts are scrumptious, too. All of the staff are incredibly nice and I've only ever had a great experience with the customer service.

What a hidden gem this place is! From the moment we walked in, we were surrounded by a wonderful ambiance—gorgeous fresh flowers, beautiful smiles, and true professionalism from the staff. We enjoyed a fantastic meal that tasted fresh and delicious, with very generous portions. Mrs. Lara herself went table to table greeting everyone, and she even sang with her angelic voice, which made the experience feel extra special. My friend and I enjoyed every bit of our food. For over six years, this restaurant has been my sanctuary for life's most cherished moments, from milestone birthdays and Mother’s Day celebrations to intimate dinners with dear friends. It remains one of my absolute favorite establishments. Between the refined music, the exquisite decor, and the breathtaking waterfront setting, the ambiance is truly unparalleled. Our waiter, Oscar, provided impeccable service. And the owner is always such a warm and gracious presence to encounter, she has one of the most beautiful voice when she sings. I already look forward to my next visit. It has become a tradition!

By far the best tasting steak Ive ever had, amazing view. Staff is so sweet. The clam chowder next to the breath taking marina view is TOP NOTCH!

I absolutely loved this place🥰. I had a simple meat lasagna dinner, but it was so tasty! My food was also served very hot🥵. Oh, and the Lemon-dropppp🥴🥴STRONG💪. The servers we're so attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere is extremely comfortable and relaxing. I love the large windows, which allows you to view the ocean while dining. 10/10 I do recommend. I will be returning soon!

I came here on a Saturday evening around 5pm. We were seated immediately with a window view. To start we got crab cakes. It was so delicious, and sadly you only get two 😔. I highly recommend this appetizer. For entrees, I got a lobster & shrimp risotto dish. The whole dish lacked flavor and I don't recommend this dish at all. My boyfriend got a bacon wrapped filet migon. It was very good! Even the vegetables were delicious. To end dinner, we shared a caramel cheesecake. This was divine! As for the service, I wasn't really impressed. The server wasn't attentive and we waited a long time just to get the check. The rest of the staff was very friendly. There was live music and it was an overall beautiful ambiance. I would definitely come back to try this place again.

Stopped in on a Friday for a nice lunch. Beautiful views of the bay, San Francisco and the harbor. Staff was very friendly and attentive the place was nice and clean. They have plenty of outdoor seating due to covid, but there is also plenty if seating inside. There us a nice little lounge and bar with great views as well. Most importantly, the food was delicious! I had a yummy cup of chowder and the fish and chips which were both insanely good. She had a chicken sandwich and loved it. Full bar with beer and wine. A very nice place indeed!

Homey (and fancy?) place for dinner. Excellent and attentive service, food was just ok though, not sure if worth it for the price tbh. We sat outside and was seated by the front “porch” area so didn’t have a great view but that’s ok. There was live music by a gentleman on the piano which was a nice addition to the atmosphere

The view is amazing. If you're looking for a good restaurant by the bay, this is it. Recommended for special occasions. The staff is pretty good and efficient. They were able to prepare the food as we wanted. An area of improvement: better outdoor seating. Parking was plentiful.

This was our second time at Laura's Fine Dining. The views of the marina from the dining room, make the meal that much more enjoyable. We had calamari, clam chowder, prime rib, which was a special, and spaghetti with meatballs. Everything was delicious. Bread came with our service, unfortunately it was extremely burnt, and you could see where they tried to scrape the burnt parts off the loaf.

Laura’s is a very good friendly restaurant! Being from San Francisco originally I am a tough judge of Bay Area food. The menu is extensive & fish a standout. Service is always great. Never had a bad meal at Laura’s!

I went here with a reservation and was greeted and seated immediately. It was a very nice atmosphere, and the location looks like it was a large home built in the early 1900s. The food was decent but was nothing special. The prices are reasonable and in line with what you expect. My issue was with the service. We didn’t have a waiter, instead the bartender was the waiter (we weren’t seated at the bar). He was nice but it took too long to receive attention when we were ready to order, ready to get desert, ready to pay, and didn’t check in with us at all once. That was unfortunate, and I don’t blame him, but it soured our dining experience. The desert cart was really cute. I wouldn’t go there again by choice, unfortunately.

Tried the crab cakes, clam chowder, and prosciutto pizza. Crab cakes 4/5 actual crab lightly breaded. Clam chowder 1/5. Watery, not rich, real clams that unfortunately came w 3 spoons of sand. Pizza 5/5. Hand tossed and light like what you'd get in Italy. An american serving on the toppings. Took a star off for the chowder and one for the price. All 3 water cups stayed empty since before the food arrived. When it did arrive the server had my wife pass around the dishes. Not quite the fine dining I'd expect.

We dined at Lara’s Fine Dining for the first time, and upon entering, we were greeted by a nice atmosphere complemented by live singing. However, the main female host appeared less than cheerful, leaving us uncertain about whether to follow her for seating or wait for further instructions. We opted to follow her lead and were seated at a lovely spot with a view of the bay. As we settled in, we noticed waitstaff bustling around, attending to other tables while completely overlooking us, despite our proximity. After about 15 minutes, we decided to call over a waiter, only to be met with a disgusting and disturbing look directed at my husband that felt discriminatory. Ironically, the staff were fellow Latinos, and the disdainful glance suggested that my husband’s presence at the restaurant was unwelcome. This left a bitter impression, and I suggested leaving, but he wanted to stay, so we persevered. When I lifted my napkin from my glass, I was dismayed to find dust inside. I brought it to someone’s attention, but my concern was dismissed. The only bright spot was Marcus, a waiter who was genuinely kind and attentive but unfortunately wasn’t our waiter. Eventually, another staff member took our order, and while the food was satisfactory, the real letdown came with the salmon entrée, which was poorly prepared. I attempted to locate our original waiter but had to summon another to return the dish for proper cooking. Upon its return, it was evident that it had likely been microwaved, as the presentation remained unchanged. Disappointed, I chose not to eat it. When the meal concluded, we faced another long wait just to settle the bill, giving the impression that the staff was indifferent and simply eager to finish their shifts. In summary: Location and view: 5 stars Food: 3 stars Cleanliness: 3 stars Service: 1 star Overall, I would rate our experience as 2 stars. A considerable enhancement in staff quality is necessary at this location and discrimination must be eliminated. It is deeply disrespectful to look down upon your own Latin culture.

had an eggplant parm that would have been fine if seasoned at all, relatively tasteless. girlfriend had spaghetti which was equally tasteless with mid consistency/texture. also she asked if they had diet coke and was told "yes" but was given some other unmistakably different diet cola. unnecessary wait after eating for check and waiting for my card to be ran. wouldnt go back. sitting by the water was nice. also fyi prices on the menu photos are out of date: spaghetti was $23 base price, eggplant parm was $28

The waterfront view is definitely a plus but the food actual taste does not meet expectation, considering the price. The pork chop was rubbery and tough; the fish and chips were just OK but one piece of cod fish was not perfectly cooked--hence, stomach upset after eating there. Food presentation was fune. More than five years ago, when the place was called Salute, food was amazing.

We had a pretty terrible experience here, the service was so slow, the food was terrible, and the atmosphere was lacking. It took 20 minutes before we were asked for drinks, we ended up having to track down the manager to get drinks. I will note the manager was very lovely and on top of everything. She was the one highlight of our night. When our meal came my Cippino was bland and all the seafood was super rubbery. My husbands filet mignon was practically burnt when he asked for medium rare and the sauce on top was inedible. He also said the mashed potatoes tasted like instant mashed potatoes and his veggies were definitely not fresh. There was a singer that was playing, the piano was pleasant but then when they started singing it was very distracting while we were trying to chat. Overall do not recommend this place.

Fine dining is an experience you provide, not just some words on the title. It was a disappointment to eat here. The decoration was good, the food was average, and the service was horrible.

I am generally not picky or difficult to please, but this is hands down the worst pizza I have ever had in my life. Even the pizza from 7-11 is better. I ordered the sausage and pepperoni pizza. The dough was so soggy and undercooked that the moment you picked it up off the plate, it collapsed, flopping down as soggy, wet dough. You couldn’t even cut it because it was too mushy with all the cheese on it. The pepperoni and small slices of sausage seemed to be pre-packaged rather than freshly cut. You could even grab a slice in the palm of your hand and mush it up into a dough ball, gross !
