Il posto magico con la cucina di casa molto buona. La proprietaria, signora Giancarla, con il suo marito ed il resto del team sono delle persone gentilissime, pronte ad accontentare ogni cliente. Una volta entrati ci siamo sentiti a casa ed abbiamo mangiato come da nonna. Tornati e ritornati più volte ❤️
Excellent food, friendly staff. Giancarla and her husband are very kind and attentive. They prepared a special menu for a vegan, including desserts. The hand-sliced Fassona steak is the best I've ever had, excellent, as is the fillet with green peppercorns. I absolutely recommend it and we'll definitely be back.
A GENUINE PLACE. The restaurant is very characteristic and full of medieval objects, which reflect the history of the place, a family-run restaurant that has been open since the 1980s, specializing in Piedmontese cuisine. But what struck me most was the friendliness and authenticity of Giancarla and her husband, two truly wonderful people. One of the guests was vegan, and they went out of their way to create a complete menu specifically for her. As if that weren't enough, they offered us bugie and wine. I wish there were more genuine people like them. The food is exquisite, the pasta is handmade, the meat is high-quality, and most of the dishes are homemade. You feel right at home. Welcoming, warm, friendly, and simple, hearty, authentic dishes, just the way we like them.
Gentlemen, if you want good, authentic food and feel right at home, this restaurant is perfect for you. A charming, quaint family-run restaurant with convenient parking. We were welcomed and served by a kind lady, who was also a pleasure to chat with and who looked after us throughout the evening. With her, you can choose this or that, and if you're unsure, like me, and don't know which entree to order, she'll bring you a second plate with a little of each. Exquisite cuisine with a few imaginative touches. Very competitive prices; I'm posting photos of the menu: €36, cover charge, various appetizers, first course, second course, dessert, coffee, and wine (bottle, not glasses). At the end of the meal, the lady even left us the bottle of wine we hadn't finished. :-) And when you get up, you're full.
On the way from Turin to the upper Canavese, we stumbled upon this medieval-style inn. All the vintage-inspired furnishings blend beautifully together. The cement tiles in the bar area are beautiful. The kindness and professionalism of the owner made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Generous, high-quality portions. Competitive prices, and compliments to the entire staff.

The owner immediately puts guests at ease and clearly expresses her passion for catering. Highly recommended.
Very beautiful and unique location in medieval style, welcoming and clean place... excellent and plentiful food, we took the mushroom menu and it was a pleasant surprise for the quality and quantity spending a fair price.... the kindness of the staff and especially of the owner is out of the ordinary... she was so kind to prepare me a dish, which I wanted to eat, to take home.... I absolutely recommend it and we will definitely be back... congratulations, keep it up
My partner and I had lunch at Locanda dei Templari and had a wonderful time! We tried the mixed appetizers, the trio of first courses (kindly recommended by the hostess), and the mixed desserts. We left satisfied and with full bellies! Another strong point was the kindness and helpfulness of the owners: a characteristic that's not always a given and particularly hard to find these days. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.
The menu is very varied; you can choose your pasta (rice, gnocchi, or pasta) and pair it with the ever-changing toppings. I tried the gnocchi with zucchini flowers, which were excellent! They also have a wide variety of appetizers, main courses, and homemade desserts. The owner is extremely kind and attentive. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the Knights Templar and is friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back.
We went there for Easter. We had a great time. The food was good... good service with welcoming and attentive staff, and the location was also very pretty, with many medieval references (swords, shields, armor).
Never... I repeat: NEVER have I received better service or been made to feel so welcome in a restaurant... run by its owners who are absolutely fantastic hosts. They gave us samples of their own spirits, and each one was better than the last. A highly recommended place from every angle... a truly historic ambiance.
WEDDING LUNCH We chose La Locanda dei Templari for our wedding lunch. The atmosphere was unique: it felt like we'd traveled back in time to an idyllic medieval world! The owner was extremely kind and helpful, and she even created the decorations with medieval-themed details. The food was delicious and the portions generous, satisfying our guests' tastes. To top it all off, the restaurant's lush, flower-filled garden provided a stunning backdrop for our group photos. We'll definitely be back for more! Thank you!
We happened upon this inn by chance. WONDERFUL!!!! The staff was incredibly kind. The food was delicious and fresh. Definitely worth a visit, especially during their medieval-themed evenings (the owner told us about it, and it must be wonderful). It will definitely be a stop on my future trips to the area.
Visited for a baptism. Aperitif outside and lunch inside. Unfortunately, the heat was noticeable (35°C outside) because, although the place is cool, it doesn't have air conditioning. But the dishes were excellent and plentiful. The waitresses were friendly and stopped by several times for second helpings. They were very attentive and punctual with refilling drinks. The homemade mille-feuille cake was truly delicious. I'll definitely be back.
I've been coming to this place for a long time and always recommend it to friends and family looking for a welcoming place with good food. The highlight of the place is the owner, always very helpful and kind. We recently celebrated my sister's wedding there, and as always, they exceeded our expectations. Thanks Giancarla!

We spent a dinner here The menu was adequate and of good quality for the event. The location is very well presented and lends itself to any occasion or private celebration. There is the possibility of using the very large and spacious rooms also for dancing. The hospitality and welcome of those who manage it make you immediately feel at home
August 20, 2022 We had dinner on Saturday evening for the first time. It was just the two of us in that large restaurant. Interesting restaurant. Traditional Piedmontese menu, plentiful food. The owner, Giancarla, was excellent and very kind. P.S. - I'm forced to change my review after just one day, and here's why. We asked for the desserts to be wrapped. The owner was very kind and offered us a mix. Trying them in the morning, I discovered two inedible, chewy, old pieces, and after I ate three more pieces, a strange allergy came out on my skin. We advise the chef to check and throw out the expired desserts, because customers don't say anything, but they stop coming.

A quaint and picturesque place, but it could use a bit more attention to detail. The traditional Piedmontese dishes are good, but the presentation is lacking. The game is excellent, but the gnocchi are bland. The staff is very friendly, and the service is quick, but there are a few flaws. It's best to ask for the menu verbally; there's more to choose from than what's written. Prices are average.
The place was a bit gloomy, although they probably turn on the rest of the lights when there's not a single customer in the dining room. The braised beef had a pleasant flavor but, personally, it was too fatty. The side potatoes were completely bland, I think they were boiled and then reheated in the oven. The house red wine was excellent. The lady who served me was very courteous and welcoming.
