We stopped by today for lunch. The place is a bit dated but the food is good. The menu of the day is vast and the staff are friendly and helpful. The price is really cheap for a first course, a second course, water and coffee, €10.00. If you pass by, a stop is a must. Recommended.

We arrived early (11:45) on a Sunday in late February. Without a reservation and after routine anti-Covid checks, we were seated at a beautifully prepared table. The daily menu was delicious. We immediately found all three of our favorite dishes. The wait was short, even though the restaurant had filled up by then. The dishes were tasty and plentiful. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable. Anyway, let's get to the point: a welcome plate, two first courses, three second courses with side dishes, two desserts, water and wine, and three coffees... less than 35 euros!! Yes, you read that right... everything described above for 34 euros! I repeat, it was Sunday. I'm sure, despite the distance from my home being not that small, I'll be back at this restaurant very soon. Bravo to everyone!

Being in Roasio and not eating at Piane di Monolo is a sacrilege... as always, excellent appetizers, excellent mixed fried fish, and what can I say about the desserts!!! Friendly and helpful staff... highly recommended!

We often go there on Saturdays for lunch and I'm happy to give it 4 stars because it's really good, also because I feel at home. The food is very similar to my cuisine, that is, very simple but good! The menu is always different, plus there are always various first and second courses.... And let's not even talk about the price, only 10 euros for a first course, second course, water, coffee, dessert, and then what? You're all too good because it's really all very good!

Easter lunch 2025 was terrible. Mille-feuille with tuna sauce was like whole-wheat crackers that weren't even crunchy, but soggy. Scallops half a millimeter thick were as hard as reinforced concrete, so hard to cut. A terrible dessert consisted of a slice of dry, hard Colomba cake with a round slice of chestnut cake on top, with a very sweet and nauseating honey cream. The only decent thing was the porcelain coffee cups with pretty designs. The menu was €35, but it was worth even less. It definitely would have been better to eat a nice pizza with a glass of beer! Worst Easter lunch I've ever had in my life. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The first courses were served cold, the rice was almost raw, and the pasta was overcooked. The grated cheese was left uncovered at the table and visibly stale. The peas served with the second course were raw. The tart was hard and nauseatingly sweet. I asked for ravioli del plin, but was offered tortellini instead. The beer was bottled only, not draft, and the water was served lukewarm. There was no soft drink. I won't be returning.

Hi, I wanted to express my opinion about this restaurant. Given the price, it's clear you don't expect to eat like Canavacciuolo's. However, you need to have at least a little love for your work. Instead of making lots of first and second courses, wouldn't it be better to make three first courses and three second courses? They're all somewhat acceptable and at least hot. It's not the first time I've had cold dishes arrive. And you can't wait half an hour just to order. Then an hour for a first and second course. The price is more than fair, because if you paid 12-13 euros, I'd like to see how many people there would be. It takes more love to be a restaurateur, otherwise, it's better to do something else.

The food was okay, but only lukewarm due to the very long wait. Despite the restaurant being full, only the owner and her granddaughter were serving. We even had to negotiate a price with about 15 other people. When we raised any criticism, the owner reacted rudely and surly. I wouldn't recommend it, even though the food and price were okay.
