It's not often $45 fills me and my partner up for dinner. Plus my mom ate with us, and we had left overs! Delicious food, will be back. We ordered take out and the food was still hot when we ate.

Beyond fantastic food! Healthy, fresh, and delicious. I feel great after eating here and the service is impeccable. Don’t have a bad word to say, I just love it here and can’t believe they are not busy 24/7! Such a gem. Real good vegetarian food - not processed crap! Injera bread is delicious if you ask for it. Dinner is small plates $5 each and you can try many things. You can’t go wrong, but I love the stew! Gnocchi is a real treat as well. It’s like dining at a close friend or family member’s here - I feel at home! Thanks Solomon & team!

Came here for lunch today (weekday) and got very quick service. We both got full plates of food which was about 2 lbs, about 15 bucks each. The food was really flavorful and well balanced. I feel very energized/healthy and not sluggish like after most takeout :) I have no idea what anything we had was called but I really liked the lentils and like…. Squash or something that came with it. lol. We asked for everything and got a big plate of many yummy things.

Couldn't pick which foods I wanted for the lunch buffet so I asked to try some of everything. I was not disappointed. Incredibly flavorful and completely stuffed. I can't wait to try dinner as I've heard it's somehow even better.

Highly recommend! This hidden gem offers creative, delicious, and nourishing dishes. With some of our party’s gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan needs, the menu was perfect. Two Celiacs were in our group, and we could have everything except for one item on the menu (the pizza, which is cooked separately so there’s no risk of cross-contamination). Some favorites include the flourless chocolate cake, the risotto, the gnocchi, the chipotle curry sweet potato soup, and the chai. It’s all made from scratch in-house. Price is very reasonable, and the tapas-style menu and quaint atmosphere make it a cozy meal out. We will be back again! :)

This is my absolute favorite place to eat in Rochester. The food is so tasty. So good for you. Prepared with love and is priced very well. Small intimate dining area, perfect for a date.

Update: Went there for dinner on a Saturday and it was unbelievably good. The lunch buffets they do 6 days a week are really awesome! It's all vegan and healthy. It's Ethiopian food so prepare your mouth for flavors you may not have had, and enjoy! This is a real hidden gem, just looks like they haven't remodeled in a while is all, but if you look past that you are in for a real treat.

First time in, I was struck by the calm, eclectic atmosphere. It was clean and interesting without being pretentious. The host/waiter/cook was friendly, calm and quiet. As I sat down to eat, the food smelled great. The injira bread was nutty and tangy and held together well. The lentils were perfectly seasoned, and the collard greens were AMAZING! (and I usually dislike collards) there were other dishes offered, buffet style. There was water on hand to pour as one wished, which I thought refreshing instead of having someone come ti the table. All in all, it was a very homey atmosphere, like going to a favorite relatives or friends house, knowing you could just help yourself. The cost was really budget friendly and economical! I was very happy to pay their price as cost is usually prohibitive to eating out. I loved my experience, and will do so again weekly!!

This is a good place to get some healthy food that is homemade. Yes, the place itself it a little old, but the friendly staff and good food make up for it. Buffet is all you can eat. I found the cuisine to be similar to Indian food in some cases. The variety of options was limited, but what they had was alright. Price is also pretty reasonable. Note that parking is limited.

Second time I have been here in 2 months and there has been a sign on the door with closed/ changed hours. Not coming back a third time. Timing is way different from online.

Okay. So this place was delicious. I am not mad at the food. The injera was probably the worse I've ever had tho. This would've been a 3 star review had we not experienced price sticker shock. We were under the impression that we would control how much we had on our plate. The website lists 6.99 and the billboard in the shop says 5.99 per pound. Great! Right? Well no, it's not a buffet. Probably was a buffet but as of this writing it is not. Here is your experience. You come in and wait because there's one cook and one guy doing everything else (it's a small place this is whatever) then he will sit you down and ask if you have had the lunch buffet. When you tell him no, he will not explain anything and just disappear into the back. He will come back with a little of everything. Great! So with our saying anything he will give you 3 lbs of food. A soup, and cut up pieces of super tangy injera. Which in itself is fine, but combined with the lack of transparency about this when you go to pay expecting maybe 5 or 10$ you get hit with 16.50$ The price isn't the issue. It's the lack of transparency. This place is not your traditional buffet. Make sure to clarify because they will not have the honor to clarify for your fresh experience. Had I known this wasn't a buffet, and the plate you're actually paying for is 16.50 I would've gone to zementa and getting a combo special. What brought me in was the promise to control my portions for the price that's appropriate. What I got was a plate in front of me for a price I did not expect.
