Went here as part of Fooddoneit tour- it was the highlight! Our waitress was a sweetheart, very attentive and pleasant. It started off with a gentleman who came over with a cart specifically for preparing freshly made guacamole, to your taste, in front of you. It was so interesting, he was very friendly and fun, and the guacamole was absolutely delicious. Next we had the shrimp tacos- they were also delicious. My husband and I plan to go back for a full meal soon. I don’t remember prices (food was included in the tour) but I did skim the menu and it seemed quite reasonable.

If you are looking for a place with fruity drinks this is your go too! It’s very deceiving, we had 2 drinks and by the second one we barely could handle it! Good service, Good food and good music! Doesn’t get much better than this

My second time at this restaurant. First time was a graduation party and second was a birthday party. Food was absolutely amazing!! There wasn’t one thing that we didn’t like. We had a waiter named Victor who was great!! He was fun, energetic, and quick to grab us food and drinks. Overall 5/5 this place is awesome. Will DEFINITELY be coming back again soon!!!

The boys and I came here the other day on a rainy afternoon for some chow. After a long and confusing deliberation on where should we dine, we landed ourselves in Mexico and ordered fajitas, nachos, tostadas and margaritas. Even after munching down on 2 baskets of complimentary tortilla chips and salsa, a order of mucho nachos with steak for taken to the kitchen and placed on the table for me to consume some more corn chips and an assortment of toppings. Lastly, the customer service was good.

Haven't eaten here for about 20 years and so sorry I hadn't returned sooner. The food was great and the service over the top. Stars were the Portuguese octopus and the tomahawk steak - perfectly cooked. Fajitas were very flavorful and avocado tuna tower was very good also. Even the plantains were perfectly crisp and the rice had a nice bite. The staff kept checking to see if we needed anything. A lovely experience!

Came in for a weekday dinner. Loved my experience here. Was seated promptly by the hostess. The menu was extensive and reasonably priced. The waitress was knowledgeable about the food and answered our questions. The ambiance is great, played good music, the service was excellent, the food was really delicious. They give chips and salsa for free while we ordered and waited for our food. The chips were warm (looked like they cut fresh tortillas and fried them) and the salsa was the best. It was the right amount of spice and flavor. I got the chicken enchilada. It was well seasoned and the perfect temperature. Super satisfied and left feeling full. Definitely worth the visit! Great for date night or just anytime. They also have a dance floor area which I know is popular during the school year.

Absolutely lovedddd this place! The coconut crusted sea bass was out of this world amazing! It was HUGE, and although the center was completely raw, I did not complain and just ate around it. The service was great, and their list of flavored drinks is literally like 3 pages long - pretty much any flavor you can think of. I had the frozen pomegranate Margherita and aside from being HUGE, it was extremely tasty. I highly recommend this place and suggest giving them your business, whether for a quick bite to eat, or afterwork happy hour.

My friend and I had a great time here! They did ID at the door but I don’t mind proving I’m of age! The chicken quesadillas and coconut shrimp was delicious. “The Ugly” frozen margs were okay. I got mojito flavor and it wasn’t that great to be honest, but it was strong and not icey at all; very smooth slush! The place was packed and it took a bit for our drinks to come out but the waiter was very attentive and made sure to let us know that our orders were in, it was just a little backed up. Above average service is always very appreciated by me! The prices here were great compared to where I’m from in NYC as well. Would definitely come back and bring all my friends!

Love Love this place! I host events here once a month, the new tropical room in the back is beautiful. Cozy fireplace for winter months and retractable roof for outside entertaining in summer months. Food and service is always the best. Highly recommend

Went here for a birthday dinner after I saw pictures from my cousin's visit there. The place is huge. You can be seated inside or outside. We were seated quickly. The place as lively. Great music. First time eating here and it was truly a wonderful dinning experience in a long time. We called ahead to see if there was a wait time and it was minimal. Staff was on point with service. The gentleman even held the door when we were from outside! Food was fresh,hot and plenty. Drinks weren't watered down! Waitress suggestion of the menu was good. Atmosphere was excellent! Staff entertainment was refreshing. It all was noticeable. During these changing time because of COVID this restaurant is stepping up their service to help patrons have a pleasant dinning experience. If your looking for an enjoyable dining experience I recommend this place.

Cabo RVC is vegetarian & vegan friendly and very accommodating. My mom is vegetarian and I called to to find out if the beans were vegetarian. Angelo said they can make them vegetarian upon request. When we got there we were greeted by Angelo and he said our vegetarian beans were ready for us. The food was very good and flavorful. It was lunchtime and I didn't try any of the fun alcoholic drinks from their expansive drink menu. We did order a virgin pina colda which was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. Angelo came over during our meal to make sure we were happy with the food. I highly recommend Cabo RVC.

You’ll fall in love sitting at the bar with the beautiful small waterfall, or you’ll feel comfy in a booth with your party. You ALWAYS feel welcomed here. The staff (including Omar, our waiter) is EXCELLENT , and all of the staff are extremely attentive! if you want to go enjoy a night out, this is your spot … For the record, my wife and I were lucky enough to speak to the owners after our experience to compliment them and they are extremely personable, and we love them !

There’s an eclectic arsenal of music playing from salsa and merengue to drill music and old school 90s music. The food was also enjoyable, though their fajitas lacked seasoning and the coconut sea-bass was dry. Granted, it was a busy Saturday night and the kitchen was probably chaotic! The tostones pulled pork nachos were the star of my table. Their alcoholic drinks are also cool and come in big portioned glasses. Overall great place to go with friends, family, or your significant other for great drinks and a great time. P.S. the owners should consider having space for a dance floor! That’s how good the choice in music was!

Celebrated my birthday there yesterday! Ate at the bar, and the bartender Sébastien was great! I had the Chicken Nachos and Honey Agave Wings that were delicious! The ambiance was nice because the back of the bar was slightly outside and the Playlist playing was banging ( House Music). I would definitely go back!

Our experience at Cabo was delightful. Be aware that there are no reservations. If you wish to dine, you will wait on line until a table becomes available. On a Saturday night after 7pm, we did wait about 45 mins to be seated, 4 people total. The ambience and decor is fun. Our server was pleasant and very attentive. The drinks did take a little while to come out and we did have to ask him about the delay. The guac needed more seasoning and much more flavor. Mango wings and fried calamari was tasty. The enchiladas cremosa was flavorful and filling. Chicken tacos were tasty and u have a choice between grilled or shredded chicken. The drinks pack a punch. Was definitely feeling them. And that's what you want when you're paying $15-20 for a drink. If you want to celebrate your birthday here, they play a song and give you a sombrero. Overall we'll be back.

Came here for the first time for a 40th surprise party. Had a bunch of appetizers. Place was super busy. Definitely seems like one of the spots to be at on a Friday night if you want to get some drinks with friends or eat some mexican food. Food was good. Drinks were super expensive. $22 for a drink is a little ridiculous though. We’re not in the city & there was nothing upscale about that restaurant. Good atmosphere & food though.

8-20-25 Update Pork Empenadas were really good. Even though it was delivery still had a decent crunch! The spicy sweet chili sauce was excellent. Will order again. Ordered on DD. Nachos were good. Haven't been here in years, and Cabo still got it. We got there a little early on a Fri evening, but by the time we left, there was a line out the door and the place was at capacity. Servers were so patient with us, and answered all out questions and helped us navigate some dietary restrictions in the menu. Everything was delicious. Loved the sangria pitcher and their slushy-style margaritas and piña coladas were very popular. Thoroughly enjoyed the grilled Portuguese octopus, and of course the guacamole served in a molcajete was perfection. Particularly enjoyed the tuna ceviche. Fun restaurant, great vibe, and fun atmosphere.

Food and drinks were very good, atmosphere was good the only thing it was a long line but it was worth the wait...I normally frequent this place for lunch but dinner time was more lively. They also have outback where you can sit which is really nice &comfortable and have heaters. They add the gratuity I don't know if it's because it was nighttime and they do ID at the door. If you ever in the area try them out you won't be disappointed 💯

I have been here before a few times in the past during the evening and it is always lively. This time I went on NYE early afternoon. It was quiet and easy to talk because the noise level was not loud as it usually is. The service was good. The Baja shrimp I ordered come fried but I asked if I can get it grilled instead and it wasn't a problem. We got complimentary hot chocolate with a little shot of rum which was nice.

This restaurant could be so much better if the effort was given. A lot of drinks were ordered which is good. But let me explain the bad - Ordered the “pollo borracho” doubled for the table and chicken parts had some feathers still attached so know they don’t fully detach all and cook it that way. However the chicken was seasoned and cooked superbly; what a tragedy! One member of my party experienced consistent rejects on her first orders from drinks to entree because they didn’t have it or a component to make it; so disappointing.

The drink menu states 19 bucks for a margarita.... but the catch is (frozen) when you want your drinks on the rocks apparently it costs more than your entree, and for you to be surprised when the bill comes is even worse. not only is it more money, but then they upcharge you for the shooter you didn't even request in your glass. Beware of your bill!!!! The waitress stated "well that's the way it is"-completely unacceptable and bad business by a well known establishment. it's safe to say i frequent restaurants daily and will not be returning- As i choose to spend my money without trickery. my drink literally cost more than my entree. Abhorrent that they would make no mention of this upon ordering.

Pretty popular place in the Long Island area. Usually pretty busy, especially weekend days and nights. May have to wait in line to get in but it moves at an good speed. The drinks are decent size. The food here isn’t bad, had the guacamole, burrito and taco, all were freshly prepared and well seasoned. Not the best Mexican I’ve had personally but it suffices. The prices are kind of high for my liking honestly but that hasn’t stopped the crowds.

My daughter and her friend took me here for an end of day drink and food. I had the steak and chicken fajitas, which were horrible. They had no taste and had a soupy texture. I also had a mango margarita, but that was delicious. I would recommend the drinks hands down.

A fire place with rocks and it had waterfall on each side. Final thoughts- I feel like the food served is not my go to place for food. Its more of "what's open"? or "I'm drinking at a bar I'll eat this". For the quality of food they serve, it's not worth the price they charge. There are better options out there. I didn't have any drinks other than soda. I suppose the drinks along with the atmosphere and people is what gets people going in the weekends. Food wise it's not for me. Our table was packed with empty plates, glasses, table cloth, etcc. A whole mess. We ended up started packing them ourselves. Food was tasteless no season, drinks was ok. The only thing that was not bad was the Brisket Mucho Nacho, the chicken's one not no good. I don't like to leave bad review but NOPE. All 8 of us were very disappointed. Don't order their shrimp taco!!! So much breading n no taste. Worst fried fried calamari we ever had!! For a Mexican place that was a big let down. I would not go back and recommend there!!

I had to reorder my margarita 3x and the last time it came it was still wrong. Drunk it and left kept asking for sugar got salt, asked for reposado got house tequila… Food was mid . Bartender was mad she had to keep remaking my drink but made it wrong each and every time.

Food is very good. Atmosphere is very good. However I had the worst margarita of my life and for a Mexican restaurant that is unforgivable. One star.

The food was so flavorless and dry. I went with two others and they also did not like their food. I got the shrimp and chicken fajitas & I’ve never had fajitas that bad. There were more peppers than the shrimp and chicken which both were not seasoned. Furthermore, we ordered churro bites. It tasted as though whoever scooped the ice cream used a spoon covered in onions. It was absolutely retched & we will not returning. The waiter however was very nice and patient.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Cabo RVC, and I must say that it was one of the worst encounters I have ever had at a bar. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted with incompetence, racism, and utter disregard for customer safety. Let me start by addressing the bartender, Nicole Bennett, who displayed a shocking level of rudeness and indifference towards my concerns. As a woman who was genuinely worried about the possibility of being roofied by a group of men twenty years my senior, I expected some level of empathy and professionalism. However, Nicole completely ignored my distress signals and dismissed my valid concerns. To make matters worse, the group of men involved had the audacity to inform the bartender that they would cover my drinks. Trusting their word, I politely requested Nicole to remake my drink after it had been left untouched for a staggering 40 minutes(picture attached). But instead of rectifying the situation, Nicole callously refused to remake my drink and insisted that I pay for another one. This level of blatant disregard for customer satisfaction is utterly unacceptable. Adding insult to injury, at the end of the night, the men shamelessly reneged on their promise to cover my drinks, leaving me with a hefty bill. To my astonishment, both the manager and Nicole, the bartender, sided with the men and insisted that I pay for my own drinks. This is not only a clear case of broken promises but also highlights the discriminatory treatment I experienced as a black individual. The overall experience at Cabo RVC was abysmal. The staff's lack of professionalism, refusal to prioritize customer safety, and outright racism exhibited throughout the evening were simply appalling. As a customer, I deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of my race. I strongly urge potential patrons to think twice before visiting Cabo RVC. The establishment has proven itself to be an unwelcoming environment that fails to prioritize customer satisfaction, safety, and equality. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by seeking a more inclusive and reputable establishment elsewhere

the Bar tender is terrible my tacos got cold waiting for sauce for my , i had to Literally walk to the kitchen 3 times and ask for sour cream and salsa sauce RIGHT in front of the Owner. The Owner had them warm my Tacos up in a microwave smh

Absolutely disgusting. The bar tender wasn’t washing the blenders. Just reusing them. Behind The bar is trashed. The pillars have dust over growing like fungus. I saw bugs floating in the vodka. Using the glass to scoop ice. And to add to it all everything was sticky

I’ve never done this kind of reviews (cause I work in restaurants as well) but, we had a really bad experience at this restaurant. It was our first time and my friend found a thick LONG black hair in here drink(while drinking) we told the waitress and she changed it, and then minutes later we found one more hair in the napkin that they use to wrap the utensils.!! Second hair in less than 10min. (That stuff happens whatever), but the service was bad, slow! The food took like 50m-1h to arrive! And at the end the fish that I ordered was raw in the middle. After all manager took care of us, but, the experience and service was bad.

We ordered through Door Dash and they gave us the wrong food. When we called up and spoke to the assistant manager we were told the manager was too busy to talk, he also said that it was inputed wrong from one of the employees. We were told they would take care of it but was called back and told we needed to go through door dash. When we spoke to the woman who called us back she told us that we spoke to Paul but the gentleman told us his name was Tom and his manager was Nathan. We enjoy the food there but the way it was handled after they told us they made the mistake and after the woman tried to play it off as if she didn’t expose the fake name put a bad taste in my mouth.

My wife and I ordered from Cabo in Rockville Centre through doordash and our order was wrong in 2 different ways. We called to get this figured out and the assistant manager, who said his name was Tom, tried "his best" to work with us but the only options for us was to get a doordash refund or have them remake the order for free, but then we have to go and get it. We optioned for them to give us a a doordash discount. We got a call back from the host and she told us that we would have to put the refund in ourselves. Through our conversation with the host she mentioned that the assistant manager's name was Paul. When we said that the we were told that the assistant managers name was Tom, she confusingly chuckled and tried to play it off like she was confused. Ive never been lied to so many times from a restaurant.

Food was very bland, I would hardly consider this any kind of Mexican cuisine lol. service was slow with only a few people in the restaurant. At least the beer was cold( can’t mess that up). Can count on us never coming back

By far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. My girlfriend had specially wanted the rainbow ice frozen marg for Valentine’s Day and everything about the dining experience kept getting worse. First we arrived for our reservation a few minutes early and then were told by the hostess probably another 20 minutes which was surprising but no problem. Afterwards we order drinks and waters they come out after a few minutes except mine was a sprite accidentally. We then did not see our waitress for at least 30 minutes before we could tell her about the mistake to which she brings out another sprite which then again another 20 minutes or so passes and we ask for 2 waters now as my girlfriend finished hers and we got 2 sprites which we joked about happening which I actually could not believe. Over most of this time we had yet to receive the wings we had ordered as a started which were not too spicy or flavorful for being medium heat wings and the couple next to us had been waiting almost an hour and a half for food and sat down 30 minutes before us. Another thing I didn't understand is why the restaurant chose to crank the music to the max out of nowhere because now I couldn’t have a conversation with my girlfriend without yelling across my table. The food finally came out and was alright both of us got tacos and the tortillas were falling apart but were fine. Not one to bash a place but I just would’ve liked to know it was gonna be a slow night because most of our Valentine’s Day evening was spent sitting and waiting patiently for food that took over an hour to come out and poor service for the price we paid.

My wife and I ordered food yesterday from here and we were very disappointed with the food we received. To start off, we ordered the coconut shrimp, which, as you know should be extremely crunchy and, they were so soggy, not crunchy at all, and no flavor whatsoever. Then we ordered the drunken wings and the burritos and both were not tasteful at all. The brisket was so salty inside the burrito. The beans was soggy, as well. I would say that the drunken wings had no flavor and they were very sticky but gross. We’ve been going here for years, and this was our first time having a horrendous meal, where we also didn’t feel that great in our stomachs afterwards.

This USED to be our neighborhood go to Sunday dinner spot due to the food being good and the ambiance wasn't bad. However, we had a terrible experience this past Sunday with our server. Heavy set Hispanic male who kept talking over our food and table. First off, he was rushing us to order. After he came for entree order and said there were 40 people waiting to order from a party, which we did not see. Again rushing. THEN! THE SERVER DECIDED TO ADD AN 18% TIP FOR A TABLE OF 4. WE ASKED HIM TO REMOVE THE TIP BECAUSE WE USUALLY LEAVE IT IN CASH. HE REFUSED TO REMOVE IT INITIALLY STATING IT WAS MANDATORY, THEN WE REQUESTED THE MANAGER AND THE SERVER REMOVED IT. AFTER HE HAD AN ATTITUDE AND DELAYED COMING BACK TO THE TABLE, WE REDUCED HIS TIP BECAUSE OF THIS. We left the restaurant leaving a reduced tip and paying our check when the server decided to follow us out of the ESTABLISHMENT AND REQUEST US TO LEAVE A HIGHER TIP! THE AUDACITY. I DON'T KNOW WHERE SERVERS THINK THIS IS SAFE FOR THEMSELVES AND FOR THE CUSTOMER. WE TOLD HIM NO AND HE SAID IT'S NOT OPTIONAL. WE SPOKE TO THE MANAGER WHO DID NOT DO MUCH IN REGARDS. WHAT DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR DISPLAYED BY THIS EMPLOYEE AND THEY'VE DEFINITELY LOST OUR BUSINESS.
