We held a small family event at Monaghan's. The owners were easy to work with to plan the menu, prices were reasonable, service was good, and the food was excellent. Would certainly plan there again if the situation calls for it or just go for dinner.

We're just passing through and needed a decent supper. This was close to our hotel and turned out to be quite excellent. Great service, good food, friendly staff. Delicious French onion soup. Equally delicious seafood chowder.

We had our baby's baptism party here and we're so happy with how everything turned out! Kathleen and her husband and the staff were so helpful and attentive! The party venue was clean, beautiful, and the food was fabulous! We will definitely consider having another party here in the future! Thank you!!

I think the food here is okay. Don’t like my potato pancake so deeply fried. The cash price is decent. Service is good. Won’t come back just bc I am not impressed by the food.

We went for dinner and found it to be a large open space with a bar along one wall, two TVs. They have a lot of beers on tap and the service was good. The manager/owner checked in on us with his nice Irish brogue. ☘️ We got the wings and fries appetizer. Both were good but I think the fries could have used salt. The gravy was a nice addition. The steak tid-bits were good and cooked to order. The chicken cob salad was really good but you have to love Bleu cheese to really enjoy it, there's a lot of crumbles on top. The raspberry dressing was the perfect compliment. All that and 3 beers on tap under $100! Two thumbs up! 👍👍

Staff is great but food was just mediocre. The burger was overcooked and bread just tasted odd. Also runs on the pricier side

We used to come here and the bartenders were amazing, friendly funny and engaging. This bartender obviously wanted to be anywhere else but here. On his phone, barely engaging to the point of rude. Food was decent enough for pub food.

We walked in to get a quick drink before the train and the rude bartender refused service saying we were too drunk. We had 3 drinks previously.

rudest “owner” so she said i have ever met. Group of my friends came in to sit at the bar and the ladies went to use the bathroom after walking in the cold weather to get there . just wanted to a quiet atmosphere compared to the bars nearby. We were immediately denied service and told we had to leave.. don’t bring your business here considering we spent $1600 elsewhere and had a much better time. clearly judges people by their cover and we don’t stand for that anymore
