This is a hidden gem! Cozy Scottish diner adjacent to the river walk. So delighted we found this. What a lovely group of people as well. We will definitely go back. And a good Scottish breakfast is available all day for I think 4 euro. The Fries are hand cut and sent from heaven.!

Two visits in one weekend! Evening meal on saturday night and sunday lunch today. Food is 1st class. The place is nice, tables not too close together and brilliant music played today! And a decent measure of wine in your glass! Price for 3 course traditional sunday lunch is excellent. Good scottish hospitality. Will be back next time we are in the area. Might even try breakfast to.orrow before we leave!

As a group we have now tried various dishes including the steak pie, mince pie, Glasgow chinese curry, the Scottish breakfast and the Sunday lunch. The food quality and portion size was excellent tho unsure why the Scottish breakfast doesnt include bacon. A small concern as the staff, service and food all excellent hence its so busy. Also, excellent value for money.

Great traditional friendly Scottish welcome by Patrick & his team. They serve good traditional British pub food with a Scottish flavour(Haggis or meat & tatties ect). Service was fast, the food was very nicely presented & hot. They serve all day from breakfast to evening dinner. The decor is fun & interesting, with plenty of room inside or on the patio in front.

Booked for Sunday lunch. Good selection of starters, also variety of meat's and homemade pie's and a nice tasty sweet selection. Good menu with good service at a reasonable price. Can't ask for more. Would definitely recommend. Got to book in advance.

Visited The Stagger Inn in Rojales and enjoyed their coffee and hot chocolate. The place was bustling and clearly popular. Although we only tried the drinks this time, the menu looks fantastic, and we're definitely planning to return and sample their food. Great atmosphere, looking forward to the next visit!

After having to explain the humour behind the name of this place to my two companions. We had 3 very fit for purpose breakfasts. Proper coffee too. It would be great if the vegi breakfast came with a vegi sausage, most folks would be willing to pay a fair price for this.

Had very good Scottish breakfast here with great black pudding but to be honest all of it was very good. We managed to get a parking space across the street and thought we'd try it out. Pleasant efficient service. Prices good, worth a try ..... we'll definitely go back and we'll try their evening service as well...

Went here during the football in the summer, and had an absolute blast. Amazingly friendly team running the place, couldn't fault it, the cocktail wizard smashed it! 100% recommended

Our first visit here and for Sunday Lunch which has to be 5 Stars all round. This was not only the Traditional Roast Lunch but also a brilliant Pie choice... 10,95€ for a 3 course was definitely value for money especially as most other operations charge a lot more...the linen table set-up added to the overall experience. Well done the Stagger Inn 👏👏👏

As a group of friends (table of 10) we went to a pre-xmas Fayre lunch on 9th December 2025. It was excellent, the quality of the food, the staff, the service were all great and nothing was too much trouble. The 11th member of our group was unable to attend last minute and so the owner prepared a full "takeaway Xmas lunch" especially for him which was very much appreciated. Our thanks to everyone at the Stagger Inn, Rojales.

Often looked here and never tried....what a mistake. The food is superb and the portions are fantastic. Make sure you come hungry! I had the steak pie and it was gorgeous.

Family of four went for old fashioned Sunday lunch today, first time visit. Absolutely delicious food and portion sizes are on point. Staff so lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely need to revisit soon!

Went for a takeout Sunday roast yesterday, having never been before. Great looking restaurant. Great food - meat was cooked perfectly. Gravy very good. Wouldn't have minded a bit more stuffing :D but all in all - will definitely return!

Stumbled on this place and will definitely return. The haggis was the best I have EVER tasted I really was not expecting it to be good, well in fact it was the best .( thats from a Scottish person ) We will drive again just to taste the rest of the extensive menu and bring any visitors .

Had Sunday lunch here yesterday with my husband. Absolutely fabulous. As well as the food being delicious the staff are so friendly & warm. We’re looking forward to going back again & have told lots of people in Gran Alacant about our wonderful experience.

Great breakfast €4 made to my taste. I ordered only the items I prefer, so the items I don‘t like, will NOT be wasted. Build you breakfast so to say. Waitress was very nice and attentive. Very clean. I’ll be back 😁

I visited here the other day with friends. They had been before and recommended the split battered haggis with chips and gravy .... wow, I was not disappointed .... it was delicious and I will definitely being going back soon to try their Scottish breakfast. Quick service and friendly staff. This place definitely gets the thumbs up from me, if you’ve not been the I recommend you try this place real soon.

Love this place and we come every time we visit. The owners are great, super welcoming and they look after you. Founders All Day IPA on tap which was bizarre to see, but love it! The quiz is great fun, shame there seems to be some regular teams who just Google answers mid-quiz (see photo attached, saw the guy on Wikipedia do I zoomed in... turns out he was googling one of the questions 😆) not sure quite what the point of that is as it's a fun quiz and everyone gets some chocolate at the end. But hey ho, despite the googling, still good fun.

I'm going to start with just....WOW. We had Sunday lunch, choice of 1 2 or 3 courses. Service, hospitality, cleanliness, presentation and food absolutely fantastic. One of the best Sunday lunches ive ever had. If your near the Stagger Inn, this is where you need to be. Book to be safe as due to popularity, I promise you, you don't want to miss out.

My husband and I took my mum to the Stagger Inn for Mothers Day lunch today. We had pate and breaded mushrooms for starters, roast beef and chicken and bacon pie for main, chocolate sponge cake, Scottish tablet, and Crumble for dessert. All dishes were delicious. Beef cooked to perfection. Mum and I were welcomed with a glass of bubbly. The staff are excellent, and the restaurant is comfortable and decorated to suit the Scottish theme and stags. It's not our first time and definitely not our last. Many thanks.

Good location in the centre of Rojales. The pictures enclosed are an enactment of a Moors / Christian battle for the ancient bridge. Would visit this bar again.

Great place, nice location near the river in Rojales, friendly staff, fun patrons, and the prices were good too. Enjoyed a pint and a crispy chicken wrap that came with some civiche on the side, €3 for the pint and only €4.95 for the chicken wrap. I hear Scottish breakfast is worth experiencing too, square sausage and tattie scones as well. I will be back!

The staff here were all lovely. Nothing too much trouble and the food was fantastic. It is our 3rd time here but our first Sunday lunch. It was absolutely delicious. We always try to visit this place when we are in the area. We have lived in Spain 14 years and have never gone back to Scotland. Venues like this give you a real taste of home with white linen tablecloths and napkins embroidered with a golden stags head. Lots of amusing memorabilia on the walls too! Thank you especially Pat and Rose for another great experience.❤️

Visited today for an early evening meal with my wife. My meal, Split battered Haggis, chips and gravy was good (and cheap), while my wife had the homemade lasagne. We both came away feeling extremely full. The meal took a while to arrive but was worth the wait.

Het eten was goed, vriendelijke bediening, leuk zitten buiten. Enkel de frietjes zijn voor ons niet voldoende gebakken.

The terrace has good ambience if the climate is favourable, staff and owner very friendly, food is of good quality...but !! vegetable portions were very small as was the gravy allocation and after serving the main meal no-one returned to the table to see if all ok.😔 El sitio tiene un bueno ambiente, empleados estaban sympatico, comeda ingles bastante bien pero falta verduras y salsa, nadie pregunta si todo bien. 😔

We visited on a friends recommendation as a party of 4 people for Sunday lunch on the 19th December. Lovely place & the staff were spot on. The table was very well presented & the atmosphere was great.Family business I believe, however the disappointing issues for all of us were as follows. 1 serving of veg for a table of 4 people was just no where near enough to fill hungry stomachs as we all held back knowing we were going for our hearty Sunday lunch.Also the stuffing balls were so small they made us blush ! no bigger than an average size marble. We were also served a single complimentary dish of cauliflower cheese that was very nice, but again no where near enough for 4 people. Gravy was lumpy ! massive pet hate & very off putting. However after pointing out this to the staff we were given an additional serving of veg & cauliflower cheese without any additional charge & more gravy ! All I would say is the cost is fine but please explain to the customer what they will receive for the price & maybe give the option to upgrade on the day to larger portions for an extra euro or two to avoid any disappointment, we would have happily paid a little more to avoid any embarrassment. Yorkshire puds were a little on the small side too. Deserts were good as was the coffee. Please do not take this as negative feedback, just our points of view. We would happily return if our issues are addressed. No one wants to leave a restaurant still hungry. Merry Xmas & happy new year from us all....

Service was good but the veggie breakfast was not that great. The scrambled eggs didn’t taste like they were truly free range as they were bland. I had one piece of dry hard toast from a cheap sliced variety. The price was very good so I guess you get what pay for.

We was pleased when stagger inn could get us a seat friendly staff. We ordered drinks and food we waited 1 hour for food during this time there was a black and white cat walking around the restaurant some customers feeding it. The cat was going in the kitchen jumping on the counter sides. The food arrived we looked at it had about 2 chips off our plates and walked out what a waste of money and time. So unless you like cats and in facilities it’s cooking your food don’t bother
