Rustic, unique and quaint. Very cute little cafe with various pastries and cakes. Also serves beautiful panini's and outstanding coffee for a very reasonable price. Definitely not a tourist trap, this place is so authentic and very friendly staff willing to help if unsure.
A small, very italian place. with a great service and Amazing food. The establishment is old but clean and cozy. I would 100% recommend. Good price (same as the menu pictures)
Amazing first meal of the new year! My husband and I LOVED our breakfast. He had a bagel with salmon and I had the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Cappuccino and cafe latte were perfect. Staff was so kind and attentive. Highly recommend!

We had breakfast in Café Mozart every day during our Roma stay. The owners and service were super friendly. the coffee was nice and they had everything we needed for a proper breakfast (waffles, american breakfast, omelette, croissant, fruits). We enjoyed it a lot. Thank you!
This place is just slightly off of the main touristy strip so it was less crowded. It was very cute and the food and service was great for a reasonable price. The staff seemed genuinely grateful we came in.
I ordered a hot cappuccino and a slice of their homemade cake. DELICIOUS! The cake was super moist and fresh. I loved how they welcomed us. Such friendly and kind people. Thank you!
What a hidden gem! Mozart Café is a small, cozy spot near the Vatican run by a lovely older couple who truly know how to make great coffee. The coffee was so good we all ended up ordering a second round! The sandwiches, omelette, and bacon were all delicious and freshly made. The service was warm and attentive — you can tell they really care about their guests. A perfect place to stop for breakfast or a coffee break after visiting the Vatican. Highly recommend!
During my 2 days stay, I have breakfast for consecutive 2 morning. The food is good in my opinion. I have omelette and the scramble egg. I like the omelette, scrambled eggs, ham, Americano. The folks are kind people too. Sabrina, Maria, Antoine and Vhlesa are very friendly and warm. They would make you feel welcome. You would feel at ease and comfortable. Relaxing ambience with outdoor sitings and indoor as well. Traditional cafe with traditional barrel brick ceiling, which is nice They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Personally I think their warmth makes you feel comfortable and welcoming.
Enjoyed our experience at this cafe. Staff was pleasant, and the coffee and pastries were good. They even had vegan cornetto, which was the best I had during our time in Italy. It’s not labeled as vegan, you just have to ask 🙂 definitely worth stopping in.
We came 17/10/2025 - short break in Rome. We had breakfast, coffee, and some takeaway smoothies. The service was excellent quality, very attentive staff, polite. The food was superb, we had omelette Maria it was amazing. The latte was smooth and a better portion than I was expecting. At the end, the staff gave us some sweets. It was a brilliant experience - thoroughly recommend this cafe. I don't have any photos but the words speak for themselves.
Came here after a busy visit at the Vatican. Close to shops, quiet and peaceful. Staff were excellent. They offered quick and hospitable service. They serve pizza, pasta, sandwiches - something for everyone. Thank you Belle for being so kind and thoughtful!
We started our European holiday having breakfast at cafe Mozart and are finishing our month long holiday at the same cafe on the last day. Beautiful food served by beautiful people - open at 6am - and close to everything in the Vatican. 10 stars.
We visited this wonderful cafe on our trip to Rome. We loved the food and coffee. The service was also excellent. We went back 2 days in a row because we loved it so much. Highly recommend stopping here.
The sandwich which her recommend just simple but very nice. Cheese, tomato and bread all good. Also we have first Carbonara in Italy here! Such a good day to start here!
We had breakfast here almost every morning during our week in Rome. This bar is truly a little gem. A family-owned business, where you are always greeted with a smile. All the staff are super friendly, interested, and speak different languages. The place is popular with both locals and tourists and always invites you to stop for a little chat. The coffee is great, but the real stars are the various baked goods, e.g. all kinds of cornettos, always freshly made. Another unique feature is the opening hours: the bar opens at 6 a.m. already, which is absolutely unusual for the area. This means you can even grab a quick breakfast if you have an early appointment. They also serve typical Italian hot dishes such as pasta and much more. If you're in the area, this is the perfect choice for a relaxed Roman bar experience. We already miss it.
Every time we come to Rome, we can't miss a visit to Mozart Cafe near the Via Ottaviano Boulevard . The breakfast is very good, and the service is excellent, we feel like at home.
A lovely place to grab a quick breakfast, coffee or pastry before starting your day. The women working here are friendly and the food is tasty! I loved the chocolate croissant and the freshly squeezed orange juice which is an exciting red colour.
Literally came here every morning for breakfast since it was light and easy. The cappuccino was great as well as the juice. The staffs was all so lovely. It also had a friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend the panini and pastry since it come out fresh & warm. :)
