Delicious pasta for a restaurant in a touristic area. good service and a good location near termini station. spacious space and serve at the terrace. the manager was nice and pleasant and speaks well english (what is quite rare from locals in Italy)

Food was amazing. Good service. Reasonable price and pleasant atmosphere. The only small thing was one of the plates was chipped and had a sharp edge. That shouldn't really happen but order than that it was very satisfying.

Great food, You can find all traditional Rome food there. Atmosphere was awesome, very friendly staff, most of them speaks communicative English. Often during the night there is a good music near outside tables so You can sit there and enjoy Your time. Although in Rome we went through more than 30 restaurants, we came back to Imperium multiple times, for us it's best restaurant in Rome.

We discovered the place passing by and after the first time we ate here we choose to came back the rest of our holiday. You must try the pasta Imperium with seafood, the best we ever had. Beautiful food! Very kind and amazing staff! We visited quite a few places in central Rome and we visited this place just before going to the airport and it exceeded our expectations. Squid was cooked to perfection and the pasta dish was truly amazing!Would highly recommend!

During our holiday in Rome, we ate here multiple times. The food was very good, and the service was outstanding and very kind. The ambiance was good, with the exception of people trying to sell different items at your table. This is not the case exclusively at this restaurant, but every restaurant in Rome has this problem.

Ottimo ristorante a due passi dalla stazione di termini, un locale accogliente e ottimo servizio. Piatti buoni ma non eccezionali, prezzo nella norma

La carne è stata preparata alla perfezione e servita con cura, permettendo di apprezzarne appieno i differenti sapori tra i vari tagli. Oltre alle opzioni presenti nel menù, è possibile soddisfare ogni desiderio culinario, inclusi menù dedicati ai turisti. Pur non trattandosi di portate da gourmet, il rapporto qualità-prezzo è eccellente: poter gustare un primo, un secondo, un contorno, un dolce, un caffè e un'acqua al prezzo proposto rappresenta il massimo della convenienza.

Anche se non è un vero e proprio Pub in quanto ha un menù da ristorante, ritengo che il locale sia molto carino, accogliente e con la serata giusta anche divertente. Piacevole per gli aperitivi e ottimi i Drink che offre anche se il prezzo è un po' eccessivo. Nonostante ciò Consiglio questo posto per passare una piacevole serata in compagnia

The environment was very vivid, looked nice, clean, had music, lights mainly as decoration and some little water sprinkler that kept it cool. Food was great, good taste, great amount, you will feel full after eating here, that's for sure. Drinks were a bit overpriced, 7€ for a glass of beer seems a bit excessive. The staff was great, we went earlier on and had a coffee and a supplí, 2€ for a coffee is more than what you would usually pay, you can get it elsewhere at 1,3€ but it was great so I didn't mind. The supplí came a bit late, we waited easily 20 minutes for it, but it was ok and had a laugh with the staff, which helped to manage the situation. Be aware tho they charge an extra 10% if you eat outside.

I see many negative reviews however our experience was quite positive. It was the first place we ate in Rome and we thought the food was good. The bread was the best I had for the the whole week long trip. (We are lots of bread so that’s saying something 😀) the staff spoke English and helped us quite a bit. I did not think it was overpriced nor did I notice a service charge on the bill. If there was I would not have minded or made a fuss about it. My understanding is that in Italy you don’t tip that it’s included.

We ordered pasta, spaghetti, chicken, and deserts. Everything tasted good except for the crawfish pasta. The pasta was really hard and seemed like it wasn't cooked properly. The service was a little slow, and the atmosphere was ok. The music was too loud and there were people coming and selling stuff while we were eating which was annoying. The food is super expensive on top of all the additional costs like the convince fee.

Le buone informazioni finiscono qui. I piatti non sono ben cucinati, con condimenti vagamente somiglianti agli originali. La cucina è paragonabile a quella che trovi in un ristorante italiano di medio valore all'estero. Prezzi accessibili per la media di Roma.

Serviti due piatti di pasta in più di un'ora. Uno di questi ha girato per diversi tavoli prima di rientrare in cucina e tornare (freddo) a noi. L'altro decisamente troppo salato e troppo al dente. Nice setting outside, but expect some problems in the area. The drink and service were good. The food was below average. We order lamb chops. It seems like it was not fresh or recycled. it was the worst we ever had. In fact, it was just bones and some fat. No meat. We could not eat it.

It’s exactly the kind of place that would try hard to attract you fresh off a train… and take your money once. Because you’ll never come back a second time. I had the bruschetta prosciutto, which was okay. The gnocchi were… just okay. The service was slow, but good. I liked the atmosphere.

The food was very tasty and delicious. The portions were good. The atmosphere was weird. Other guests were fighting in the patio. The environment was tense. The service was terrible, very poor and with a very bad attitude. My starter was served when everyone else in my table was completely finished. I asked the waiter who brought the dish to please send the mains right away, as we had a train to catch and he told me to shut up. I also asked him for ice and he went to get it but told another colleague to deliver it to me, at the same time he was talking to him about me while looking through the windows, which we found very unprofessional. Do not recommend this place, even though the food was good. My water glass was broken, but the attitude of the waiters made me feel afraid to ask for a new one, which is the last thing you want when you go out for dinner. When I come we paying my bill, their card reader is as not taking my card saved on my phone, so the waiter started making fun and laughing of it. I had multiple other cards, so I paid with another one but the whole wait staff behaviour literally ruined our dinner and the potential of the restaurant, which is beautiful and we’ll located. Definitely not worth it.

Davvero pessimo. Abbiamo preso un "risotto" alla crema di scampi, una fettuccina ai funghi e una tagliata, dico solo che era tutto sciapo, il "risotto" era più un riso alla crema di scapi, era secco, per non parlare del fatto che ci hanno portato i primi insieme ai secondi, non esiste. Inoltre la tagliata era completamente secca.

Ambiente molto carino ma pursempre di una traversa della stazione termini.....personale un po' frettoloso ma gentile, ci siamo fermati a fare colazione consapevoli che fossimo a Roma ma ritrovarsi a pagare un cappuccino e un latte macchiato 4 € l'uno mi sembra davvero eccessivo (neanche in piazza di Spagna mi hanno chiesto tanto , l'avrei forse compreso vista la posizione) specialmente se al pagamento ho dovuto pretendere lo scontrino ed aspettare che il "proprietario" con molta calma si alzasse dalla sedia e con aria alquanto scocciata venirmi ad emettere quello che dovrebbe essere un regolare titolo ad ogni consumazione....sopratutto se ti prendi 4 € per un cappuccino, buon 2024 .

Deludente sotto ogni aspetto. Sconsigliato. All’arrivo ci vengono portate delle posate "pulite" che in realtà erano incrostate e sporche. Una forchetta era in condizioni inaccettabili e l’abbiamo restituita. La sostituzione è arrivata solo dopo nostro sollecito. Dando un’occhiata verso la cucina, notiamo posate per terra e un pavimento davvero indecente. Avevamo ordinato antipasto, primo e secondo, ma sembrava che volessero servirci tutto insieme, come in un buffet “all you can eat”, senza alcuna cura nei tempi del pasto e del fatto che erano tutti piatti caldi. La tagliata era composta da fettine di carne secca e stopposa, mentre i ravioli e il risotto agli scampi erano completamente insipidi. Anche il pane, cosa rara, era privo di gusto. La goccia che ha fatto traboccare il vaso? Una posata caduta per terra durante l’asciugatura in cucina è stata rimessa tranquillamente tra le altre, pronta per essere servita. Infine, il conto includeva un coperto calcolato in percentuale, del tutto ingiustificato vista l’esperienza. Si consiglia controllo accurato.

Mediocre bruschette. The supplì and olive ascolane were good. After we ate and asked for the bill, they insisted we pay cash. After we finally gave up and paid cash, another waiter said they could take cards. Don't waste your time.

The seafood shrimp pasta, but the shrimp wasn’t fresh. It even had a musty, stale smell like it had been kept for too long. I didn’t even eat the claws because there was no taste at all—just that unpleasant odor!

And yes a new one star review. If you know my reviews from all over the world I rarely give an one star review because there is always something good. BUT. . . We were here on a Saturday evening and all other restaurants were booked and we had a great appetite. We asked for a table of two and we were placed at a table by a waiter. Then an other waiter came and said that that table was reserved so we had to move to another table. We refused that table because it was near to the one speaker with very loud music. And if I say loud it was so loud you couldn’t speak to each other. So we were located to a quiet spot and that was ok. After 15 minutes wait a waiter came to ask for our order so I pointed to my wife to order first. The waiter started to write down the order but halfway doing that he started to shout to his friends across the street to greet them in Italian. After finishing his shouting to his ‘friends’ he had to redo the order because he forgot. And of course we want to make sure he had written down what my wife ordered. After that he wanted to leave or go back to the kitchen so we stopped him because I didn’t order yet. He was confused that he was not ready because he acted like that. I did my order but I felt there was no room for questions or change in the menu. He ‘put’ the fork and knives on the table (imo wrong / see pictures) Minutes later (!) my pizza arrived but my wife’s food not. The pizza had ONE slice of ham on it! The waiter started to open a bottle of wine (I asked for a glass) and put the bottle on the table. I asked later if that was normal if you ask for a glass but he assumed we asked for a bottle. The food (salad) and drinks (sparkling water) were still not arrived so I had to start my pizza before it’s getting cold. After three (maybe more) times of asking one waiter all the waiters instructed other waiters to arrange her food. I think four waiters were now busy with it. The salad arrived: plain green salad with salmon on top of it, few slices of tomato and tasteless black olives (I think the worst you can imagine in the land of Olives and Olive oil/ an Italian disgrace) No mozarella (as was stated on the menu) and no oil or any other thing to improve the green leaves of this salad. Just plain with salmon (€14/2024) The sparkling water was plain so after finishing the food (I think maybe half of it) we asked for the check. That took them more than 15 minutes. I saw at least 7 people on three different tables still waiting to order. The were waving (with arms) and ‘looking’ to the waiters but no action at all. Our check was ok (one glass in stead of a bottle) and he asked us if everything was ok? No, it was not! We complained about the salad and he said that the cook who was making salads has it’s day off. I’m not dure if he made a joke or if he was dead serious about it. He put the bill on the table and started to serve the other waiting guest so we put money on the table because we didn’t want to wait another 15+ minutes. So my advice: just walk by and look for another restaurant!
