Ottima cucina, ambiente curato e ben arredato. Oltre la stupenda vista dalla terrazza, il fattore determinante è la professionalità espressa delle ragazze in servizio a partire dalla direttrice, curando il cliente con delicata informalità mai fuori luogo. In occasione di un importante anniversario e solo qualche ora di preavviso (di sabato sera), con scaltrezza e velocità sono riuscite a rendere l'evento assolutamente perfetto.

Vista spettacolare, cucina romana (e non solo), grandissima carta dei vini con ampia scelta, cortesia e simpatia del servizio, presente e discreto (soprattutto Giancarlo), attento a sorprendere con un dolcino e un augurio particolare la mia compagna nel giorno del suo onomastico. Credo convenga prenotare, è comunque un ristorante sull'attico di un hotel di alta fascia. La terrazza davvero merita, come poche a Roma. Da ritornarci.

Con immenso piacere, mi sono recato nuovamente al ristorante Settimo Roman, con la sua suggestiva terrazza del Sofitel Roma Villa Borghese per festeggiare il mio compleanno, cosa dire? Un panorama spettacolare, con vista dei bellissimi monumenti storici di Roma, rendono Settimo Roman unico per cene romantiche e occasioni speciali, quì siamo nel posto. Un elogio va al personale di sala, un grazie particolare alle Sig.ne Floris ed Eleonora che hanno reso il servizio impeccabile, con la loro cortesia e indiscutibile professionalità, non solo, disposte a raccontare la storia di ogni piatto, dando una nota in più alla nostra serata! Grazie Un grazie e doverosa nota, la devo fare per la cucina, dove anche lo chef ci ha molto deliziato con le sue materie prime e pietanze eccelse, veramente di altissima qualità. Abbiamo pranzato sabato 12 aprile in questo bellissimo roof al settimo piano dell'hotel Sofitel Roma Villa Borghese. Siamo stati benissimo. Per quanto riguarda l'accoglienza al cliente: ti fanno sentire come a casa grazie alla responsabile di sala e a tutto lo staff. Per quanto riguarda l'offerta gastronomica, è caratterizzata da materie prime legate alla stagione e al territorio. Non ho trovato voli pindarici gastronomici, ma piatti ben cucinati, ben presentati e ottime materie prime, il tutto curato dallo Chef Giuseppe D'alessio. L'ambiente non è grandissimo, arredato con gusto, prenotazione consigliata. La vista mozzafiato. Il resto lo raccontano le foto. Da provare.

Siamo stati la scorsa estate in questo elegante locale all'ultimo piano di un hotel di lusso. Il rooftop esterno è piccolo, ma ha una vista fantastica ed un'atmosfera tranquilla e riservata. Abbiamo provato l'opzione aperitivo a 35 euro, più che valida dal punto di vista rapporto qualità prezzo. Ottimi i vini, molto buone le "tapas" di accompagnamento, se non ricordo male 5 mini porzioni di piatti che avrei ordinato anche al ristorante, non certo dei semplici snack. Elegante e professionale il servizio, con lo staff veramente cortese e carino. Menù a la carte interessante, prezzi più alti della media, ma vista la location assolutamente ci sta. La cena a la carte viene però servita all'interno, mentre all'esterno è possibile prendere il menù degustazione da 5 portate a 150 euro con wine pairing a 45 euro in più. Se volete fare colpo con una location elegante e riservata oltre ad una più che buona proposta culinaria siete nel posto giusto!

Un'esperienza eccezionale. Un ristorante all'attico di un hotel a cinque stelle con una vista panoramica su Roma mozzafiato. Un servizio di prim'ordine e di classe che sa accontentare anche le richieste più esigenti. Ho mangiato benissimo: un antipasto ed un primo della tradizione romana ad un prezzo estremamente buono per la location ed il servizio offerti. Mi è stato anche consigliato un vino bianco di una cantina locale del quale mi sono innamorato. Da provare!

Had a wonderful lunch experience at Sofitel hotel’s rooftop restaurant Settimo. My waitress Elena was so kind and friendly it made my experience that much better! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I had a lunch menu for 39€ including starter, first course (pasta) coffee (orzo) and water. It’s a great value for money in such a beautiful location. Only the rain ruined the moment but I will definitely be back for a more sunny day!

September 2025, dining. Wow! Definitely one of the highlights of our dining experience in Rome. So, to guarantee a table outside the terrace for the amazing view we did have to commit to the tasting menu. Well, it was well worth it. 2 options on the night beef or seafood. So we got both options to try the both. Every dishes were delicious. Well balanced flavour one after another and nothing was over powering or inconsistent. Over the years after we are fortunate to experience a number of tasting menu, I have learn that not every restaurant gets it right. Sometimes the flavour is flat across all dishes like we experienced in Florence. Sometimes in overpowering where it was too rich and overwhelming and your palette goes into over drive. Compliment to the chef! It was amazing.. sunset view...who can complaint about that. As for the service, I have to say the 5 stars is solely going to a lovely lady who looked after us. As for the other staff... they did not carry the weight. The poor lady was probably running off her feet to provide excellent service to all the tables. I swear one of the waiter did not look like he wanted to be there at all. No words, no smile... nothing.. I wanted to tell him that he should just finish off his shift and just head home. The lovely lady deserves the tip and special mentioned. It was a wonderful evening and a slight chill

The food more than holds its own against the backdrop. Some of the best Roman cooking I experienced on the trip was executed with confidence and restraint. The arancini were perfect — crisp, rich, and balanced — while the gricia and cacio e pepe were top-notch, deeply flavorful, and technically spot-on. This is classic Roman cuisine done at a very high level. What truly sets SETTIMO apart, though, is the way the room is run. The female restaurant manager operates with total command — attentive, composed, and effortlessly orchestrating the entire experience. Timing, tone, guest awareness — all dialed in. The kind of leadership that elevates everything around it. Frankly, she could run my business anytime. Between the views, the food, and a front-of-house operation that knows exactly what it’s doing, SETTIMO feels like a complete experience rather than just a beautiful place to eat. The service here was absolutely amazing, and the food… WOW! The beef fillet was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. We started with a classic spaghetti carbonara (can’t go wrong), and it was perfect. The red wine paired beautifully too. The view was stunning, definitely ask to sit outside if it’s a sunny evening like tonight! And to top it off had the tiramisu beautiful Love from liverpool UK !

Second time in Rome at this restaurant; this time with my mom and sister. With the help of the wonderful Lucia we booked a last minute table for sunset hour which I absolutely recommend. Every single person that welcomed us was so wonderful, warm and friendly, the restaurant is beautiful during sunset and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend the Antipasto dello chef which will give your tastebuds a true taste of Roman cuisine through some authentic Roman specialties. Once again a wonderful experience and from now on every time I come to Rome I will definitely visit! ☺️

Had lunch here as our first meal in Rome and it was absolutely amazing. The views were great, service was amazing and food was good for my standards. We ordered a grilled artichoke, Amatriciana and pomodro and the food was amazing. Had a local wine - Nzu Bellone which was light and refreshing. Compliments of the restaurant were a bread basket with amazing olive oil. What made the experience better was Gian Carlos’ and his team’s service. Super memorable. Lunch experience is different to the breakfast experience you get as guests. Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, I’d highly recommend for you to come and try out the restaurant. Dinner service is also a different menu but we will leave that for our next trip.

We had the most stunning table overlooking Rome, and every dish was simply exquisite. The atmosphere was so relaxing and enjoyable that we didn’t want to leave. Cena di compleanno!!! - Ottimo ristorante raffinato, splendida la sala con annesso terrazzo con vista su Roma. Ho gradito molto lo stile degli arredamenti interni con le palme, molto chic e alternativo. La cucina propone dei piatti della tradizione romana rivisitati. Semplici, ma ben eseguiti. Ottimo il servizio e l'atmosfera è rilassante. Avrei preferito un menù più vasto e variegato. Per il resto tutto perfetto!

The restaurant is modern and beautiful. The terrace was still closed as it was very cold outside in the evening but the waiter very kindly invited us to go out to take some pictures and enjoy the stunning view. The food was excellent, tasty and the plates well presented. One of us has gluten intolerance and the waiter checked with the kitchen twice that the plates chosen were without gluten and he offered alternatives, they also made pasta gluten-free and they have bread gf too. The service was good, the staff was very kind and professional but a few times we had to wait or call them because they forgot something. We had an enjoyable night and dinner, we'll definitely come back here.

I had requested and prepaid the prefix menu and terrace seating. When I arrived, no one had told me that my reservation had the caveat that for the prefix menu, I had to be there at 8, not 8:30, so that was disappointing. The hostess pivoted, apologized and got us drinks while we waited for a table to be open. Still great ambiance and food. Wine was phenomenal as well. Wish the staff had been a bit more attentive though, but it was indeed a busy evening.

Location molto bella… ma … prendo fiato e scrivo senza pensarci più del Dovuto “ capello fritto sul calamaro “ portafinestra sempre aperta, Franciacorta versato sul piatto del pane e in risposta “ porta bene “ senza asciugare il piatto o scusarsi il tiramisù “ savoiardi ?” “ si certo !” Tiramisù una palettata di mascarpone senza altro ah sì una spolverata di cacao. Il conto ? “ ovviamente vi abbiamo tolto la frittura “ e ci mancherebbe pure !!! Il liquore un mirto del supermercato a 11 euro pagato e il caffè a 6 euro che dire … bella location ma con la cifra spesa vado ad Amalfi sul mare … provate per credere ah no meglio di no!

Great view from the terrace, which we came for. Except it was blocked by filthy glass. When we asked the waitress to clean it, she said she was aware, but refused to clean. So much for €15 per glass of wine.

Posto incantevole e vista panoramica mozzafiato. Dedico la mia stella solo per la location. Cibo mediocre e servizio deludente; non all’altezza di un hotel di lusso 5*. Cameriere non spiega la formula “SETTIMO APERITIVO” (un drink + 3 tapas) e ci lascia ordinare alla carta, senza nessuna spiegazione. Bastava semplicemente maggior chiarezza dal cameriere sulle diverse modalità per ordinare un aperitivo completo di tapas. Conto finale eccessivo. Rapporto qualità-prezzo inadeguato. Non ci ritornerei, assolutamente no.
