Have been coming for 4 years, we always get great service from our waiter Leo, and management is on it. Management (Emilio) always makes us feel welcomed and resolves any issue. HIGHLY RECOMMEND CLUB IGGYS fun for the while family.

They have waiters who will bring you food while you relax on the beach. Decent tacos and by the ocean, awesome. The tacos had pretty good flavor and we also had a Pina colada which was delicious. They also mentioned that you can rent a table and chairs for the day from them, while at the beach, but we just hung out with our beach umbrella and beach towels.

ASK FOR ARMANDO! We were lucky enough to have found Armando as we were making our way to the beach. Because we came early, he let us know that there was parking available, so our car was close by and we didn’t have to lug everything to the beach. Armando made sure that we were well taken care of all day with food and drinks. Daysi also made sure that our glasses weren’t empty for long. We have a table on the sand where we could watch the kids. The food the beach food and the cost is reasonable considering you’re sipping your margaritas with you feet in the sand. Definitely worth checking out and worth staying if you have the right service.

We didn’t eat so I can’t rate the food however it’s a great chill spot but you can’t really chill because you are always being asked to buy something. It was kind of annoying when you are just trying to relax. The drinks were good.

As a foreigner who lived in Rosarito for years, I'd like to think I have a balanced view of what Club Iggy's really is. First, I never got over charged here. Not once. Drinks and food are more expensive than some place not on the beach. But I was always charged menu prices. Secondly, this is the best place in Rosarito to day drink. The deck has a great elevated view of the beach, or you can grab a beach chair and have some shade from an umbrella, or just sit at the beach bar like a tourist. The sunset from the deck was always amazing and I typically paid my tab just after sunset and walked down the beach back to my house. No matter where I am on earth, I'll always periodically come back here to watch the sunset. Also they have a ton of stage, DJ, and dance areas behind the deck. It's a bigger place than it looks like at first. They used to have an inflatable unicorn near the front. Not sure why that matter, but I loved that thing. 😂 The few negitive things I could say about Iggy's are really things that I could say about any beach club in Rosarito or Tijuana. But they're worth mentioning. First, someone will, (at least one if not more) offer you cocaine, every day. I'm certain, some of them are cops. Personally I don't care, but it's annoying when they try to have a conversation with you and I'd love if Iggy's staff got rid of them. I'm also aware, this being Baja, that won't ever happen. So, get used to it. Also, I felt like there were times they were understaffed. I understand completely as a business owner, overhead can make or break a place, but at times it can make service a little slow. Lastly, as you might imagine, the bathrooms could use an update. Unless they've had one in the last 10 months that I'm not aware of. All in all, Club Iggy's is one of my favorite places in Rosarito and a regular place I've been going for a long time. Highly recommend.

I usually do not drink and could taste alcohol or get a buzz after two or three drinks. This place has no alcohol In any of the beverages and I was able to drink 4 without any buzz whatsoever. The scam was they would use Jose Cuervo in the past but now they just leave the alcohol out and charge you top dollar for the experience.

Felt like a rip off. We knew better than to go some place on the beach. Four drinks, two appetizers and $144 later… yes. Rip off I don’t remember waiter’s name. We had four mango margaritas, shrimp ceviche, carne asada nachos, Bucket of dos equis. The bill was illegible. I wish I would have questioned him more.

La comida muy buena, el lugar agradable, mejor de lo que esperábamos, pero es una pena que el mesero nos haya querido ver la cara cobrando de más, veo que no es la primera vez que lo hacen. En 2 platillos nos quería cobrar 400 pesos de más y en la misma cuenta incluyó el 12% de propina. Su servicio no fue malo y pensábamos dejarle un 20% pero eso de querer abusar con sobre cobros al cliente es muy delicado. Ojalá los propietarios estén al pendiente de esto pues es una pésima imagen de su negocio.

Waiter ripped us off! So sick of people trying to take money. Ordered food that should have came to $49 he said bill was $77. The Waiter's name was Oscar.

My wife and I went there a few months ago and the food and drinks were okay but in the end they ended up charging us three times for the same food ticket because the lady was having trouble with the credit card machine. When we got home we disputed it with the credit card company. They provided one receipt as proof but they still were able to steal 47 dollars from us by telling the credit card company that each transaction was "unique". How can they charge us three times for the same ticket and remove one charge but not the other two? We feel robbed because thats exactly what they did

Spring break featured FireBeatz (who?), a Dutch DJ duo that no one ever heard of. Maybe the owners could invest in a total makeover and rebranding. Maybe figure out who their target audience is. New music, new staff, new alcohol menu. New entertainment and guests people actually heard of. Either rebuild or raze it to the ground.

Acabo de pedir un coctel, es el coctel más caro, feo y con suspiros de camaron qué he pedido en mi vida. No lo recomiendo. Además de que tardaron más de 40 min en traerlo.

Horrible y caro, terminé pagando al final como 600 dólares, no me respetaron los precios de la carta y la comida que había pedido se la comieron unos niños que venían con los gerentes, encargados no se que eran, de paso ellos mismo pidieron la banda y ellos fueron quienes pidieron todas las canciones el cual fue 600 dlls más, literalmente super mal todo y a pesar de que le comenté que por qué no respetaban los precios de la carta me la arrebataron y se pusieron en bolita para tratar de amedrentar a mi y a mis amigos con tal de que paguemos lo que ellos nos pedían y no lo que indicaba los precios de su menú.

Ayer 15 de septiembre del 2023 me paso: El lugar me agrado hasta que probé la comida que estaba malisima me quede con mal sabor de boca y por si fuera poco el mesero me quería cobrar 1000 pesos de más de la cuenta así es 1000 pesos de más no es exageración.... hasta que yo hice frente a él la cuenta y según que se había equivocado. En pocas palabras jamás regreso ahí. Y si lo recomiendo? Claro que NO... La comida sabe fea y si el cliente no se da cuenta le ponen de más de la cuenta y también la propina te la cobran al menos el sr. qué me atendió eso me dijo... 🤮👎

Be aware of the scams in this restaurant, we were 8 person we asked for 7 horchatas and 1 beer and when they brought the bill it was $130 dollars just for drinks not even food, also without notice a guy puts a Mexican hat on you and starts poring tequila in your mouth and we were thinking since we did not requested it was the restaurant way to give a free shot which they said they would give, and when the guys finished he was like it is $6 dollars, We just want to give a heads up to you so it doesn’t happen to anyone else

Me and a group of friends were drugged by the bartenders here. They threw the tip jar at us and a buddy of mine tossed a $10 bill in. They didn’t like the way he tossed it in and an older bartender took over pouring drinks. It looked suspect.. because it was. He must’ve put some devil’s breath in or something because all 5 of us dry heaved for hours afterwards. Avoid at all cost.

You will get scammed in this place. They overcharged me saying it was 10% tip included but doing the math it was 15% what they were trying to charge me. In Mexico, it is illegal to charge a tip call PROFECO right away when this happens!!!

Scam business. At the end we were presented with a hand written bill listing a 15% tip as "tax". Then we were told that they can't accept credit card payments because the system is down, and that we can use a nearby ATM. After protesting and saying that this is unacceptable, we were taken to speak with the "manager" who said they can try to run the credit card. And surprise, surprise, the system worked and the payment went through Edit 4/21/2024 4pm PT. The owner replied to my initial post: "Hello Ovidiu! We greatly apologize for this inconvenience. We do not charge tax. Did you happen to catch your waiter's name or can you describe him? Also, when was your visit? We want to investigate this incident." My visit was today, Apr 21,2024, before 3pm. I did not say the business is charging a tax. I said that a 15% tip was listed on the hand-written paper as "Tax". I believe this was done to confuse customers coming from the US, where local tax is listed as a separate item on the bill. However, in Mexico, the price listed on the menu usually already includes the Value Added Tax. This is a red herring. The main concern was not that the tip was listed on the bill. The main concern was that the so-called bill was a hand-written piece of paper. I will NOT provide the name of the person who served us. From my observations this was not a "one bad apple" situation. While I was trying to get things sorted out, I noticed other customers getting the same hand-written bills, and I heard them being instructed to take money out of the ATM to pay the bill. Also, whoever the "manager" was, they didn't seem at all surprised or concerned over the situation, instead they just doubled down and supported the assumptions made. They reluctantly tried the credit card payment system and acted surprised when the payment went through. This leads me to believe that whatever happened is not a one-person "accident", but instead is a regular practice for this business.

Update 3/19: We visited on Sunday 3/3, there was just two of us and a dog. We were one of maybe 4 or 5 customers, and I don’t think there were more than 2-3 waiters working that day. Don’t recall his name, but was middle aged maybe 40-50s? Spoke decent English. Original review: Food was okay and service while we were there was excellent… but it was a trap. Typical Mexican place(not suggesting they are all like this) that rips off foreigners. When asked for the bill, the guy wrote some notes on paper and just told me a total amount without providing a receipt. I know for a fact he overcharged my actual bill. He also claimed the credit card machine was broken which I believe was a total lie. He walked us to the overpriced papas ATM and then as I handed him the cash and looked away for a quick second he quickly removed one of the 20s and told us we under paid. I had counted the money at the atm and just handed it to him so I know exactly how much I gave him. Decided it wasn’t worth the hassle. Would estimate he made an extra 40-50 dollars, hope that is worth the 1 star review for this business, hiring a crook.
