We spent a cheerful New Year's Eve with friends at the Flaminio restaurant, where we feel at home. The food was excellent, as always. We asked if we could have their famous agnolotti, and we were promptly granted our request. The singer was very good, enlivening the evening and making us dance... All for the modest sum of €50.00, when other restaurants of the same caliber, for that evening, were asking for double.

Great place. For those who are not looking for luxury in furniture, but in what they eat. The staff only speaks basic English, but you can get by. The food is GREAT. And a very pleasant atmosphere. You can just feel authentic Italy there, not painted for tourists. The prices also seemed reasonable to me. I recommend it

Ottima cucina tradizionale piemontese e lombarda. Prodotti freschi, ricercati e di qualità. Buoni antipasti e primi, buonissime le carni, ottime rane e lumache, oramai introvabili. Ambiente amichevole e nazional popolare tipico delle vecchie trattoria. Personale competente e garbato, persino simpatico. Prezzo assolutamente corretto. Un luogo di convivialità e buona cucina che consiglio sicuramente a tutti. Certi commenti contrari sono veramente infami, fatti apposta, per pregiudizio o concorrenza. Provare per credence...

Trattoria molto tranquilla alle porte di Milano. Abbiamo mangiato fuori all'aperto. Voglio fare un plauso alla ragazza ai tavoli, perché siamo stati serviti con intelligenza, nel senso che ha fatto arrivare ai commensali le cose nel giusto ordine e nel giusto momento, cosa non scontata in alcuni ristoranti. Menù molto vario che spazia dalla carne al pesce. Buono lo gnocco fritto con salumi preso come antipasto per 3 persone. Per primo ho preso delle fettuccine al ragù di salsiccia e verdure dal buon sapore, altri dei ravioli e il risotto. Ho assaggiato tutto ed era tutto ben fatto. Come secondo abbiamo preso il fritto misto, poi del roast beef accompagnato da verdure grigliate. Del dessert mi sono fatto tentare da un dolce alla mela e la cannella, un po' asciutta ma saporita. Tutto buono, forse le quantità un po' strette, ma tutto sommato non sono uscito affamato dal locale. Lo consiglio se si cerca un posto accogliente ed informale appena fuori Milano e senza tanti sbatti.

Lunch today, Wednesday, April 24th, with friends at this restaurant in Zibido. Spaghetti with clams and mussels, tagliatelle with mushrooms, toma cheese, and chopped hazelnuts, gnocchi with tomato and sausage, snails with tomato sauce, roast beef with potatoes, fried calamari, mixed salad, cannellini beans with onion, everything delicious, including the red wine and grappa to finish. A pass!

L'apologia di fascismo È UN REATO, e penso debba esserlo anche il servire ragú di maiale spacciandolo per cinghiale. Cibo assolutamente mediocre, condito da mille cimeli nostalgici del ventennio piú grottesco della storia Italiana. L'unica nostalgia che ho provato è stata per un pranzo che potesse giustificare i 60 euro spesi (1 antipasto, 2 primi, 2 mezzi secondi e 2 caffe).

Given the abundance on the menu, we decided to start with the mixed antipasto. We asked for two appetizers, so theoretically two dishes, to be shared between four people. It's a shame we didn't take a photo: we received a plate with four slices of salami, four slices of prosciutto, two pieces of sausage, and a spoonful of Russian salad. That was basically one thing per person, counted. Then we saw the appetizers being passed around to other tables, and they were completely different—quite generous. We didn't say anything and waited for the first courses. Two portions of paccheri, a fried fish dish (which tasted almost like nothing), agnolotti, and tagliatelle with meat sauce. The portions weren't small, but they weren't large either (and even then, the portions served to other tables were larger than ours). The only positive note was the dessert; we tried some of their homemade cakes, which were really good, especially the one with berries. The staff is very friendly, and overall the experience deserves a three-star rating, but I'm giving it two stars because the bust of Mussolini behind the register and the various fascist relics automatically deduct points. If I'd seen them upon entering, I'd have gone elsewhere.

If it weren't for the fact that they definitely erred on the right amount of salt (either too much or too little) to use in the first courses, the rest of the restaurant would have deserved, perhaps, even four (4) stars. A starter of mixed cured meats and fried gnocchi, a trio of first courses, mussels and sliced ​​steak for the second course, dessert, wine, water, coffee, and liqueur...all for €25 per person. Decent quality dishes, very fast, friendly, and particularly nice service. This was in a practically empty restaurant, so we'll have to try it again during busier times. But next time, be careful with the salt! Update 21/07: The restaurant is busier this time. The appetizers were so-so. A few slices of cured meats weren't at their best. I ordered risotto with porcini mushrooms, which turned out to be dry despite it being the season for fresh mushrooms. To follow, I ordered three fresh porcini mushroom salads; A tiny portion of Romanian mushrooms arrived, paltry and tasteless, passed off as Piedmontese porcini mushrooms, difficult for three to share. A terrible dinner. Another star removed immediately, and never again on a Saturday night!

Agnolotti fatti in casa stracotti, praticamenre un pappone. Ma il cibo è l'ultimo dei problemi. Il locale è sporco. La polvere fa parte dell'arredamento. Il colpo di grazia sono i cimeli a tema ven…

Cibo salatissimo, tavoli sporchi, zero simpatia. Tutto quasi accettabile, se non mi fossi accorto, al pagamento, dei santini del Duce e delle bottiglie di vino della Decima Mas. Da evitare.

Metto una stella, perchè meno non si può. Lasciamo stare il cibo, il servzio scadente, il menù scritto a mano non permette di capire quali piatti si possono ordinare. Infatti, chiedo se pesciolini e lumache erano inclusi nel menù fisso, mi viene confermato che era incluso, e alla fine mi vedo addebitato 2 secondi. Attenzione 6 lumache senza alcun gusto = 7 euro .... e mi ha detto che mi faceva pure lo sconto. Pago quello che c'era da pagare senza fare polemiche, ma la parola addio mi sembra quella più consona alla situazione. Per l'ambiente vi direi occhio ai condimenti potreste trovare "olio di ricino", siamo vicini ad apologia di tempi andati, per fortuna andati ................. ADDIO.
