🍜 COMFORT FOOD 🍜 Wagamama opened in 1992 in Bloomsbury, London. According to the website, it was inspired by bustling Japanese ramen bars and a celebration of Asian food. Over time, it has established itself as a benchmark for this cuisine, both in Italy and beyond. I've lived in Japan, so I recognize the taste of authentic Japanese ramen, and I think Wagamama's needs a little extra kick. Despite this, I happily eat it at Wagamama because I like it, I've been around for a while, and I consider it my comfort food when I don't want to eat sandwiches at traditional fast food restaurants. My experience at Wagamama, which I spent a few weeks in the Fiordaliso shopping center, was decidedly positive. I had lunch there shortly after the restaurant opened, before the weekend crowds. My review is primarily to compliment the waitress, Alessia, who supervised my lunch and was able to explain the latest innovations. She's very kind and professional. I know full well that being a waiter is not an easy job and that, on Sundays, almost everyone (if not all) would like to dedicate the day to their own interests, so I appreciated the service I received even more. Thank you!

Since we weren't familiar with the dishes, we took some advice from the young man who greeted us. I have to thank him because we ate very well; all the dishes were excellent, including the desserts. We will definitely be back. 5 stars also for the entire staff.

Excellent for a quick lunch (if you have to get back to work) or a more relaxed one. The service is attentive, and I really appreciate the fact that they pulled out their allergy list when I asked them to make sure there wasn't any shellfish contamination. As for speed, there's nothing to complain about. The dish arrived in a more than reasonable amount of time. The food was good; I had ramen and steamed dumplings (PS: there are four in the photo, but I'd already eaten one). Well-seasoned, hot, and truly tasty. The price was fair, I'd say.

Sarà questione di gusti personali, ma non mi ha fatot impazzire. In due abbiamo ordinato due Chicken Ramen e due bottigliette d'acqua naturale da mezzo litro, per un totale di 35 euro. Il Ramen, per chi non lo sapesse, è costituito da spaghetti, pollo e qualche verdura in un brodo caldo. Sicuramente molto piacevole da mangiare/bere in inverno. Una pecca del posto era l'aria condizionata eccessivamente forte e impostata a una temperatura troppo bassa. Personale comunque gentile e disponibile.

Ottima accoglienza, personale spiritoso e disponibile. Nonostante sia all’interno di un centro commerciale è in una zona non troppo rumorosa. Pulito e accogliente. Ramen e bao di buon livello, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Abbiamo pranzato, in due, di domenica verso le 1330 e il locale aveva molta disponibilità. Tavolo comodo con sgabelli alti. Abbiamo preso due piatti differenti (una poke con pollo e dei noodle vegeteriani) che, come da avviso anticipato, sono arrivati in tempi diversi (per noi comunque un po' lunghi - circa 15'). Una bottiglia di acqua e un calice di bianco per un totale di circa 38 euro. Qualità buona, peccato appunto per l'attesa.

Avevo dato cinque stelle perché con Alessia ci eravamo trovati bene, ma tornando la seconda volta non abbiamo trovato lo stesso servizio. Alla richiesta del menù il cameriere ci ha risposto:" il menù ve lo porto solo quando tolgo i piatti perché altrimenti mentre mangiate lo sporcate e siamo stufi di pulire i menù ". Ma i menù plastificati non vanno comunque puliti alla fine di ogni servizio? Altra cosa che non mi piace è che per usufruire delle offerte bisogna scaricare la app.

Ho ordinato Yaki Soba purtroppo non usano il vero noodles Soba perchè si sente che è spaghetti.. il pad thai buono ma manca dei aracchidi..

We ate on a Saturday night. There were few people. The waiter who assisted us was really nice and helpful. The only problem though was a plate we ordered that tasted like soap. We addressed it to the waiter and told us that he would not let us pay for that plate. When we were about to pay, the manager (i think) told us that it didn’t taste anything weird and it was all normal (the waiter tasted it and said it really did taste weird). She did not manage the situation very well and was kind of rude to us. PS: the problem was not about whether she made us pay for it or not, it was how rude she was to me and my parents.

Generally everything here was downgraded compare with the one in London. Here they take the real easy way to make food using the plastic bagged vegetables from the supermarket. They fry meat and mix them with the supermarket vegetables and rice. And serve it. That's it! For the food price, it is expensive for the food quality and taste that they serve. Young lady staff was really nice and kind but older lady staff was not heartily kind. She was not bad, but not that good.

Male, ma non malissimo (semi-cit.). Parliamone. Il menu e una parte del personale non sono da buttar via, ma lo pseudocaposala e le portate principali decisamente mediocri. Partiamo dal presupposto che chiedo allo pseudocaposala di far arrivare cortesemente le portate insieme, ma mi risponde che non è possibile con banali scuse relative alla fresca ed unicità della preparazione delle portate. Al tempo stesso gli faccio presente che è possibile far partire uno dei piatti un po’ dopo per ottenere le portate contemporaneamente allo stesso tavolo, tuttavia inizia a farfugliare e balbettare qualcosa di incomprensibile. Dopo una tollerabile attesa giungono a rate le varie portate semifredde: gli antipasti erano decisamente buoni, mentre il ramen il donburi erano decisamente al di sotto delle aspettative. Francamente abbiamo mangiato ramen e doburi decisamente migliore, sia nel vicino sushi fushion adiacente al Firdaliso che nelle varie ramen-erie di Milano. Non soddisfatti dalle portate principali, ordiniamo le ribs con salsa coreana. Niente male, se non fosse che giungono al tavolo decisamente fredde. Chiediamo cortesemente allo pseudocaposala di rimandarle in cucina per scaldarle, ma afferma che la cosa non è possibile. L’unica nota in positivo di tutto ciò è che la cameriera e il sua collega erano molto più sul pezzo e gentili, a tal punto da stornare quest’ultima portata dal conto. Concludo con un appello hai proprietari del franchising: per favore non assumente questi senior della ristorazione, che non hanno voglia di lavorare ed andare in contro alle esigenze dei clienti; piuttosto date tutto in mano ad alcuni junior decisamente più volenterosi e disponibili. Dubito che ci torneremo, se non in assenza del soggetto in questione. Edit: in tutto ciò il poco disponibile cameriere senior si è perso pure una nostra ordinazione, che abbiamo dovuto sollecitare ai due giovani sottoposti.

Rispetto ad altri locali della stessa catena (esperienze positive in passato all'interno dell'aeroporto Malpensa) qui ci sono sicuramente dei punti da migliorare: - SERVIZIO: i tavoli da due con i divanetti non sono disponibili, per policy, finché non hanno riempito i tavoli lunghi - PIATTI: non arrivano tutti insieme, come avvertiti dal cameriere. E nonostante ciò arrivano FREDDI e, a parte i noodles, i piatti sono tutti diversi rispetto alle foto (meno conditi, meno ricettati) A mio avviso, un pranzo all'interno di un centro commerciale con questo tipo di esperienza non giustifica la spesa di €50 in due.

The environment is ok - though the booth seatings are a little tight. The staff are friendly but we ran into a problem where one of the staff told us about a promotion for us (a couple) but when we paid, the promotion was only for one person. We were told only when we handed out credit card to pay that the promotion was only for one person. We didn't appreciate the fact that it was not communicated to us clearly though we asked and the staff had many opportunities to clarify it with us. The food was below average, but this is just our personal taste. Ramen is below average, the prawns tasted good but too little and the gyoza are ok and very small. The portions are small for the price charged. Total came out to be at €52 for 2. Toilets are available for customers at the restaurant.

They have the most inconsistent hours. The posted hours never match. It’s quite horrible. The wait in person is always long. They mess up my to go order. This is on more than one occasion. Like today it says special hours, I call, NO ONE ANSWERS EVER!!!! I show up at what should be opening and they are closing. No food for me. THIS LOCATION SUCKS!! The others have much better service.

Understaffed, unprofessional and unprepared. All 3 waiters were quite lost and brought us multiple plates we did not order, forgot to place one of our orders, and had to be reminded to bring our drinks halfway through dinner. The food was not bad, but in short… we will not be coming here again!

Ramen da evitare. il brodo non sa di nulla. buono il yaki soba, ma non vale la pena. non ci tornerei. l’unico positivo è il posto.

Orribile. Il cibo che mi è stato servito non somiglia nemmeno lontanamente a qualcosa di asiatico o almeno commestibile. Un cosiddetto piatto di noodles era in realtà un piatto di spaghetti di pessima qualità,, scotti, appiccicati a gruppi da 5 in molti casi, verdure bruciate e quindi sapiraccio amaro, poca salsa di soia quindi insipido. Numero esatto di gamberetti : 3. A mia lamentela mi è stato risposto che purtroppo in Italia non si trovano noodles e quindi devono prendere normali spaghetti! Ridicoli, a Milano non trovano i noodles! 😂😤Ma hanno avuto la correttezza di non farmelo pagare. Bravi in questo.

The atmosphere inside the mall is pleasant, but unfortunately, the quality of the food and service was a complete disappointment. We were warmly welcomed among the first lunch customers and ordered easily, but unfortunately, the problems began with the delivery of our dishes, which was disorganized and slow. By the time we got our second course, we still hadn't received our drinks despite reminders. Aesthetically, the dishes were well-presented, but the taste left much to be desired. Some ingredients seemed low-quality, such as the chicken. The experience was so bad that we felt insulted at paying €85 for a meal that wasn't worth the price. During our stay, we noticed other customers complaining, and the overall impression was of a place lacking proper organization and management. The staff seemed lacking in interest and empathy for customers, ignoring the negative experiences that were being reported. Ultimately, it was one of the worst culinary investments we've made recently. If you really want to try the Wagamama experience, I would recommend trying the one in the Merlata shopping centre, where the quality of the food is decidedly superior, although there is still room for improvement in terms of service.

I gave 1 star to the kitchen because the food was good,BUT...staff was inexperienced, they were confused with orders, people started laughing at them because every order that came from the kitchen was either too cold by the time the got to the table or they didn't know who the dishes belonged to 🤣 I saw my dish literally sit on the counter for 10 minutes before they finally brought it to me and by the time I got it, it was as cold as a dog's nose🤦three of us ate and we had to wait for my youngest daughter's order which they forgot, but the worst part of all this was the Chefs, they put the plates out and didn't even asked why aren't they moving the dishes, but anyway all I can say is, I'm NEVER GOING BACK......

As a loyal customer of wagamama in Orio Center, where I often eat lunch for work, I wanted to try this for dinner with my family. No comment! First surprise: the chicken and salmon were missing. Then the dishes arrived at different times, and what dishes! Dumplings: burnt. Pad Thai: half a portion. Rice: burnt and sticky. Spaghetti: completely dry. Beef sirloin ramen: onion soup with five pieces of sinewy meat with the consistency of a shoe sole. We left disgusted.
