Opinions de Blue House Korean BBQ Sacramento
This place is good. I took the family for lunch. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. They helped us cook the 1st round of meat. The whole experience was amazing I totally recommend this place. We will definitely come back for more.
This place is great, we typically goto Bullta but this was a good change. Blue house has some good options they dont have at the other spot, particularly tiger prawns which is one of my favorite foods ever. The pork jowl was awesome, very rich and lots of flavor higgly recommend it, I dont think we ordered anything we weren't a fan of aside from the ginger sesame chicken, there was no ginger flavor to it at all, it was primarily sesame oil that I tasted. the waiter was incredibly attentive tho he could have spoken a bit louder. The location isnt the best area but you get what you can i suppose. We will be back for sure.
Everything about this Hot Pot experience is wonderful. If you're going, go with someone who has been before. Or at least if you're new to the Hot Pot style cooking. Not only are you served by a lovely robot (servers are too, of course ;) ), but the cuts of meat you get and the pricing per person is not bad at all given what you get. Atmosphere inside is lovely. Security is patrolling outside usually. Service is quick and accurate, from my experience. Lovely seating. And if you know how to cook, you're solid. Definitely gotta go again for 38 bucks. (A little spendy but oh so worth it)
Fun experience and great meat! Their buldak ramen is packed with flavor (but careful, it is super spicy which is perfect for me but may not be best to those who are hot-spice sensitive). Service was punctual, professional, and friendly. We were NOT kept waiting for the next order round. Right when we started finishing a round, our server was back to take our next order! That, and they were all on top of swapping out our grill for a clean one! Our server was also super helpful in giving up tips on cooking their house marinated galbi steak since it's a thick one (and wow, was it buttery and delicious!). Fun atmosphere and great appetizers and sides. We did option C, which is pricey ($108 per person as of June 2025), but the access to their wagyu and galbi meat is so worth the price. Makes an amazing special date night. Even if you don't do the oriciest option, they're more affordable tier (option A) provide a lot of delicious meats as well. Really feel you can't lose eating here!
Delicious KBBQ place at a great price. You definitely get your money's worth even choosing the cheapest all you can eat. There were many options to choose from and my group over ordered and couldn't finish some of the meat but the waitress was nice and didn't charge us a fee. We had no issues with the 3 meats and 2 apps per order as the waitress will come as many times as you need. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to have a feast!
Blue House Korean BBQ offers a great all-you-can-eat experience with a wide variety of options. The food is flavorful, and the service is attentive—especially during busy times. Prices are reasonable for the quality and selection. However, some have mentioned that the quality has declined over the years, so consistency might vary. Overall, it’s worth trying if you’re in the mood for Korean BBQ!
This is our fourth visit to this location. My husband and I always go to the Roseville location, but now that we moved to the Anatolia area, this one is closer, and brother in law visited us for the holiday and I didn’t feel like trying a different Korean BBQ place. (And he likes this place aslo) The server was super polite and friendly, I didn’t catch his name, but the guy with blonde hair was great! and the food was great. The prime short rib and black tiger shrimp are always fresh and delicious. Jumulluk was good, and I can’t forget the beef belly 😂. I didn’t take many photos because the lighting was a bit off, and we were super hungry - hadn't eaten for almost 32 hours. We ate food like food fighters 😂😂
We eat here every 3 months. Always has been a good experience. Nice selection of meats, chicken and seafood, plus good appetizers and good bar. Always good. Peter is an exceptional server, and the manager pho (I hope I spelled that right)! Is unswerving in his desire to make sure your dining is the best it can be 08/17 2024
Food was great. Service was "ok". Didn't appreciate being seated near a leak in the roof with a big orange bucket next to our table.

Love the atmosphere and the little delivery robot. Everything I ordered was very good. The Corn Cheese could be better.

I have been to Blue House three times and we have always been greeted by great Staff. Brought my Husband for the first time yesterday and he thoroughly enjoyed it. The reason behind the four stars is that we ordered two appetizers that came, well towards the end of our meal despite Us asking for it twice. We assumed some mix up of sorts. Other than that, the food is always consistently good. The seafood, always fresh, a plus for Us since we are pescatarians. We will be back!
I am going to break this review down into three parts (Who I went with, the food, price-to-quality, and the general vibe) and provide summaries at the very end if you just want the key points. I went with one of my college friends here to try out this KBBQ location, and it was your typical KBBQ place, nothing special. We went around 12-1 pm, which is a typical peak time for most in the food industry, and I was fairly quiet there. We had four different meat entrees, and I chose three of them from option A. We had the Bone-In L.A. Galbi, L.A. Beef Bulgogi, Pork Belly, and Chicken Bulgogi. I ate everything except the chicken, and I would say that all the food was good, but nothing special. All the meats I had tasted the same, as if I were to have KBBQ back in my hometown, San Ramon, but it's cheaper by around 5-10 dollars per person when looking at their options B and C this is also comparing it from 2 years ago, though, so it might have changed. The Price was average for a KBBQ place, not too cheap, and I would only recommend it if you think you could eat at least 4-5 full entrees yourself, or if you go in a group, each person has at least 3 full entrees each. If you have $50 to spare and want a good social eating experience, I would highly recommend it. However, if you are going just for the food, I wouldn't recommend it. You can get nicer meat for similar prices at a cheaper steakhouse. Food 9/10 Service 7/10 Food Cost to Quality 6/10
The food for lunch was limited, but good for the price. Our favorite meat was the soy thin pork belly and the beef belly. Service was great. I never needed to push the button for ordering more meat. They also had a robot who brought out meat to our table. I would definitely like to try dinner.
Came here with the family for lunch but had the option to do the dinner menu. Prime beef and finger short rib as part of the option B was our main meat order. Finger short ribs had a bit too much chunks of fat, and cuts were odd pieces compared to what they used to be. The beef finger short ribs quality wasn't good this time around. Seemed like scrap meat pieces with a weird filet and lots of random chunks of fat they should have trimmed. They don't use the same jumbo prawns with head-on. Seems more like large regular shrimp with no head, not as big and not the same taste. Green mussels and shrimp tasted water logged. Prime beef was good with a nice amount of marbling. Hawaiian beef was good as well. Pieces were decent and actual cuts, not half cuts, fileted like the finger short ribs. Steamed egg came out promptly each time we ordered it and can get addicting. Hopefully, the next visit is a better experience, especially for the price you're paying. Option B quality needs to be much higher than their close competitors in the area to justify charging that price. Server service was great and attentive.
First time here, nothing special, same like every other Korean bbq place. We went late so there wasn’t that many people. Good amount of parking. The meat here is good, but except for the ginger chicken, I’m not sure if it was just this night but it’s a bit salty. Overall, I would come back again.
Super meh. Pretty dirty. Quality of food no good. Horrible drinks. 2 star is generous

2 stars only because the food was delicious. Terrible service! We practically had to beg for napkins, never once got refills on our water, and the waitstaff seemed angry and frustrated to be there.…

Considering price, generally it’s okay. With this decent price, don’t expect some quality meat. Spicy chicken was the best. Staff looks very busy but she is very hard worker. Spicy meat sauce is pretty sweet. Wine pork is okay. But their side dishes are well made. I would recommend steamed egg and corn cheese.
The ambiance is very dark and they play music. Most kbbq play Korean music but this was just American music, nothing wrong with that but just noticed that. They have a cute little statue in the front with water and turtle statues inside. I haven’t came here since COVID or a little before COVID but it was good and I’m not sure what happened. It’s now $38.99 per person which is expensive for option A! They offer three options, the highest one is $108.99 per person which includes every food from option A to C. I do think the option A lacks a lot of options and flavors as I feel that’s the one most people get because it’s a bit more budget friendly than the other two prices. We just kept ordering the same stuff since it was the ones that had a lot more flavor. I would say the appetizers options offer a lot of great flavors, options and yummy appetizers. I ordered the seasonal fruit which was orange and I ordered 4 of those because of how juicy and sweet it was. The kimchi and other stuff that comes in the beginning was okay. Nothing special. Id say offering steamed egg as an appetizer was new for me to see. Our server was great except when I told her there was no toilet paper in the women’s restroom, she never told anyone about it. At all. I told her very early on that the women’s restroom had no toilet paper as I had used it before eating dinner. She said okay and I used it again before I left and I checked the two stalls, still no toilet paper. They even have a list in the bathroom that they’re supposed to sign off when they came and checked and refilled the bathroom stuff, the last time it was signed was 3-4pm, I went in there at 8pm and again at 9:30. Very disappointing that the server did not relay that message to the janitor or a manager. (Same review by me on Yelp)
This place is grossly expensive for the quality of the food, extremely inconsistent, the servers are nice and do try but every year I give this place a try I am reminded why it's an annual affair. …

Had one of my worst dining experiences ever here. I’ve been coming here for years, used to be a big fan before my visit today. After ordering my first round, food took a while to come out (10-15 mins), no big deal as it was dinner time so it must be busy. However, I had to repetitively ask my waiter for basic items. I had to remind him multiple times for the sesame oil I asked for because he kept forgetting to bring it. I like to line the grill with sesame oil before I cook, so it was very inconvenient to wait over and over again before I could start eating. I had to go out of my way each time to ask for a refill, at one point he brought my drink back 60% full like what. Didn’t get any napkins. Barely checked in on us. I felt like we were begging him just for refills or things like a side of rice. When we were just about finishing up, I decided to place one more order of meats and appetizers. Meats came but still waited on apps. Finished cooking and eating meats but still no apps. I kid you not, we waited A MINIMUM of 22 minutes (don’t remember exactly how long but I know for sure it’s at least that) before it came out. At that point we were beyond ready to leave and asked for the check. No apologies, no smiles, no care in any sense. The whole dinner felt like intermittent waiting for more items. There were multiple 10-15 minute intervals where we had to sit with nothing, whether it was drinks, napkins, cooking utilities or literally even the food in front of us. I felt like I paid $80 just to be held there against my will. We literally couldn’t leave, like our server was no where to be found for us to pay it was ridiculous. I hate to say that I will never come back again and all the staff needs a class on customer service, coming from someone that works in the food service as well.
Super disappointed in this restaurant. It was the most expensive Korean bbq I've ever had, $36 to $109 a person and the selection was limited. The meat was ok but there are better and cheaper in the same area. My biggest issue is the literal trashy atmosphere. We dined with bussing carts right next to our table, at one point there were three! The plates are tiny, the furniture is extremely worn, the bathrooms are gross, and they have numerous signs telling you not to leave valuables in sight in your car. This makes the restaurant look bad and any reasonable person knows not to do this. Our server was a nice and accommodating, but the whole experience was poor and over priced. Here are pics of the trash next to our table and the tiny plates.
