Seafood pasta, lobster bisque, and grouper…the grouper was one of the best meals I’ve ever had! Our waitress was amazing and all the staff were super attentive and on top of everything! It was a wonderful experience!

A Saint Louis County Gem. The food, cocktails, and service are top-notch. Highly recommend the bar area - it a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, and Bob’s (bartender) service is very attentive to all of the guests. This week we took advantage of the special (black squid ink lobster ravioli), homemade tortellini soup - by far the best soup I ever had!, and the amazingly delicious caesar salad. Their baked mussels are luxuriously self-indulgent! Must top off every meal with the award winning dessert cocktail: KGB (Kahlua, Homemade Gelato, and Baileys) 🏆 Roberto’s is an easy choice to make for my husband and I any day of the week!

Decided to celebrate my birthday at Roberto’s and no only was I not disappointed but this restaurant made such an indelible impression that will bring me back on regular and special occasions. Bob the bartender is the BEST!!! the food was extraordinary and the atmosphere was exquisite. The owner Matt Hines came over to thank me personally for celebrating my special occasion with them. This is absolutely the premiere Italian resultant in St Louis!!

Expect to spend a lot more at this restaurant than many other places. The quality of the food justifies the costs, in my opinion. The calamari was not the best that I have had, although it was pretty good. The special handmade pasta plate had shrimp that was huge and so exquisitely cooked. The seafood pasta was phenomenal! The restaurant has a nice ambiance; the wait staff was friendly and attentive. If you want to impress someone, a meal at this restaurant may just help you achieve that goal.

After a horrendous week back at work post-vacation, I was feeling like a wilted flower desperate for some R&R. All I wanted was to crawl into a dark room and hibernate. But then, a glimmer of hope appeared in the form of an invitation to Roberto's Trattoria, a hidden gem in a nondescript strip mall. Walking in, I immediately felt underdressed in my casual attire, but was quickly distracted by the Copa Americas game playing on the TV behind the bar. I requested a table where I could dine and watch the game, and was pleasantly surprised by the cozy high top table I was led to. The evening unfolded with homemade bread, refreshing drinks, and delectable Italian cuisine. Stuffed mushrooms, spaghetti with four meatballs, and blacked grouper from Florida graced our table, creating a culinary masterpiece that surpassed my wildest expectations. As the stress melted away with each delicious bite, I found myself in a state of pure bliss. Roberto's Trattoria not only satisfied my hunger, but also provided a brief escape from the daily grind. It's amazing how good food, great company, and a little distraction can turn a rough week around. So here's to Roberto's Trattoria - a place where life's worries fade away amidst a backdrop of savory delights. Cheers to forgetting it all, if only for a moment.

I've been wanting to stop in here for quite awhile. I had a rest day from the gym so headed in for lunch. I had the chicken Alfredo. They didn't have broccoli which was surprising but the meal was definitely delicious! I normally frequent Bartolino's up the street. However, I must say, Robert's Alfredo is definitely one of the beat ones I've had yet. Broccoli would have made it better but still worth it. I'll definitely be back.

When we walked in, some people finished and was leaving the restaurant noticing we are reading the menu and he said, everything was good here. Any foodies will know, each restaurant will have it's popular dish that they do well, but not every dish. Well, I guess I was wrong. Chicken Parmigiana - that was an extra dish to share so we didn't start on it until later, but it was still crispy, cheese was just right amount, the sauce was excellent, just right, not to sour (tomatoes) just perfectly seasoned sauce. Chicken was tender, not too thick. Shrimp - Nicely grilled, very fresh and crisp. It's impressive. Chicken Spiedini - I didn't taste too much of it, not my dish but the stuffing was very tasty, the sauce was delicious, just the right taste. Lobster tagliatelle - My dish, mine! My precious! It was the best. I forgot to check how much it costs but it didn't matter. So much lobster meat, the sauce is delicious, the pasta was al dente. The only thing is, I shouldn't have ordered the lobster bisque, I think the sauce is based on the bisque or may be the same. Fried calamari - Was I impressed. I've had so many fried calamari and this one is nicely done. Perfectly done in fact. Some fried Calamari I had before were slightly soggy, you can see oil on the plate, battered came off and oily as well. But here, calamari were crispy, the battered didn't come off, not a lot of oil on the plate and it's crispy not soggy. They truly done a wonderful job with it. I was particularly impressed with their thoughtfulness where they wrapped the you go box. So thoughtful! So the sauce will not spill out. What a find! I've been to many many excellent Italian restaurant and many many pasta trip to Italy but those place is special. What a gem! When you look at the entrance you definitely going to wonder may be it's not too late to go some where else. But the inside decor is very nice. Guess you can't judge a book by the cover.

A little hidden gem in south county St. Louis. Oh, this is one of the nicer restaurants in south county. Tucktaway in a little strip mall near Joey Bs. Today we sat at the bar and had a drink and appetizers and a salad. All were excellent and the bartender was an excellent server. I’ve never been disappointed when I’ve been here for a full meal. Service has always been good and the food has always been exceptional. Kind of funny though because when I come here for my birthday like three years in a row it’s been on a Monday when they were closed. Lol .

Amazing dinner tonight! Quickly seated, great service, amazing appetizers and entrees. Kids loved the fettuccine and tortellini. I had the sea bass which melt in your mouth and had so much flavor. My husband had the rigatoni with huge pieces of crab claws and shrimp. Everyone left very full and so happy! We will definitely be coming back! The owner was so nice and personable. Must visit if in St. Louis. You will not be disappointed!

Hands down the best meal one can enjoy in St. Louis. From the appetizer specials (ours was short rib ravioli), to the entrees (sea bass and scallops scampi) and the gelato to finish everything off, the entire experience was flawless. Expertly executed, superb cook on all fronts. You won’t find better. Our server, Joe, went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. He even took the time to inquire about items that weren’t on the menu! If you need an indulgent night out, look no further than Roberto’s.

One of the best restaurants in St Louis. From the quality of the food, the service, and the friendless its 5 stars all the way around. We come a couple times a year from dinner and the specials for the evening as well as anything else on the menu never disappoint. If you've ever thought about coming here make a reservation and you won't be disappointed.

Great experience at Roberto’s! We visited for the first time for a birthday dinner on a Tuesday night and it wasn’t super busy, which was great for us as a table of 6! The bread was delicious. One of us got the Greek salad which was great too. For mains, we got: - Filet Mignon with Peppercorn •this was slightly too chewy, cooked well but the cut of meat was so large that it made it chewy. - Chicken Parmigana •HUGE portion and very delicious! Perfect ratio of breading to chicken -Chicken Speidini •Not a huge fan of mushrooms so I did not get the mushroom topping, but it was delicious without. Great portion with a huge side of pasta. -Veal Saltimbocca •haven’t had this in a bit and it was delicious! Perfectly done. Desserts: - Raspberry Cheesecake •delicious! Wish there was a little more raspberry flavor but I loved the cookie crust - Tiramisu • tiramisu was good, not the best I’ve had but quality - Gelato • gelato was ok!

Excellent meal- all 4 courses! The Ravioli appetizer was the best for sure. Brought home a bottle of their house made lemoncello, too :)

Great date spot for upscale food and service. Ask for Tom Puto to be your server. Top notch

Best Italian in all of St. Louis. Impeccable service, amazing food. The Shrimp Lucia appetizer, and Chop Saltimbocca entrée are two of the best plates of food around. Matt and his team provide a wonderful experience.

Ive been here multiple times. Great service and food. They do have some GF options and it does taste amazing aswell. It is more of a fine dining experiment so the price will reflect that. There steaks are one of the best around.

I’ll take somewhat burnt almost all filling crab cakes, cream with lobster, fake beet salad, cheese rice called risotto, a cheesy and mooing steak for $200 Alex. 1. Waiter said crab cakes were all crab - NOT. 2. Four slices of beet on a regular salad does not make it a beet salad. 3. Adding cheese to rice does not make it risotto. 4. The lobster bisque tasted like land o lakes cream with lobster. 5. One steak was almost just cheese and the other almost mooing to be cooked more. 4. Service and atmosphere were fantastic but apparently that’s what we paid about $200 for. Certainly the quality of the food didn’t make it a 5 star place.

Two-year anniversary dinner. On a whim, made a reservation and boom, seated right away. So far so good. The vibes said “romantic Italian night,” the prices said “this better be an experience.” Then the waiting began. About 20 minutes before we even got to hear the specials. The waiter started introducing himself, got pulled away mid-sentence, and had to come back later to finish like a Netflix episode that paused itself. Not his fault at all. The man was solo-running half the room like an Olympic endurance event. I counted at least eight black-shirt employees floating around, including the host, while this poor guy was absolutely busting his balls. Nothing but respect for him. 🫡 Now, the food. Credit where it’s due: • The chicken? Excellent. • The veal? Fantastic. • The house-made gelato? Honestly, a strong finish. No notes. Here’s the thing though: when menu items are flirting with the $50 mark, the service needs to show up dressed for the same occasion. I left full, happy, and well-fed… but also knowing I didn’t quite get the service experience those prices promise. So yeah. I’m glad we went. I enjoyed the meal. I respect the hell out of our waiter. But I won’t be rushing back anytime soon. Good food, uneven service, and one waiter who deserves a raise and a nap.
