El camarero ucraniano hace su trabajo excelente, gracias a su agradable trato siempre volvemos. La comida bien, el salmón al vapor está muy rico y también la sopa de champiñones. El pastel de manzana lo mejor de los postres.

De lo mejorcito por la zona. Tienen variedad y no es tan caro como parece. Si vuelvo por la zona, repito!

Have been visiting this wonderful restaurant for the last 15 years, mostly birthdays and anniversaries, because we have to travel from Orihuela Costa to their doorstep. However, well worth it. It is my birthday today, so another visit to celebrate. Once again the ambience, food and service are par excellent. Have some extremely good restaurants where my wife and I live, but this one takes some beating.

Excellent service and excellent food. Beef tenderloin and pork schnitzel cooked to perfection. Greek salad realt good. Mushroom sauce was fantastic. Our server, Alex, was wonderful. He was kind, considerate, polite and knowledgeable. His English was perfect.

I get so happy inside when i meet an exellent waitor. He had overview, showed interrest in the guests, and they all worked as a team. This was a really good à la Carte restaurant, the food was great, wine was good, chairs was comfortable, restrooms were clean. Prices was a little bit expencive compared to Spain-prices, but really worth. Will be going back!

I went with a group of friends for a lunch on their recommendation but we had no booking as we hadn't been able to contact them & it was at short notice. It was fully booked but they still found us a table! The food was amazing quality, at a reasonable price. I had the Leg of Lamb (my favourite meat) and it was amazing, just falling apart as I cut it. It tasted like I remember from my childhood! The staff were very helpful, polite & professional! I strongly recommend this restaurant (but suggest you book first)!

Simply extraordinary it makes me speechless at how delicious the food was. All of the food was amazing quality especially the ribs and steaks. Although ALL of the food was stunning. Estuvimos para comer cinco personas el pasado sábado y la experiencia ha sido excelente. Comida bien preparada y presentación de los platos muy buena y original. Si añadimos el servicio sin pausas excesivas, un menú del día con una carta de cuatro páginas y un buen ambiente en el comedor, merecen la calificación que les damos.

La comida buena, sobretodo la tarta de manzana, preciosos dibujos en los postres , el personal amabilisimo, volveremos!!!!

Delicious food for a fair price! I definitely recommend taking the steak. It was cooked perfectly. Can be a bit on the colder side inside because of the airconditioning, so I would advise taking a vest with you.

They advertise that they cater for vegans, they do not. I opted for a vegetarian option it’s was awful. White mushrooms in a gloopy white sauce with white rice. Both other options have cheese. The tomato soup was nice enough. Everyone felt that since our last visit, the food, atmosphere and service was much worse. A guest had a birthday, they pay corny birthday music, but they play a LOT of corny music, too much, it goes on and on and on. It was almost empty on a Sunday afternoon, last time we visited it was very busy. It’s empty for a reason. They need to wake up, overhaul their out of date menu. All of us had upset stomachs that evening or the next day. We will not return without major changes, particularly to the menu.

21:15h de un miércoles, nos presenciamos en el restaurante mi pareja y yo para cenar. Desde lejos se veían todas las mesas vacías y cuando nos acercamos había solamente 2 mesas ocupadas. Amablemente nos dirigimos al camarero para saber si podemos cenar 2 personas y con un tono lo suficientemente déspota como para no cenar allí aunque me invitaran, dice que le va a consultar a la cocinera porque en breve van a cerrar cocina (el horario de cierre en internet es a las 23h, repito, eran las 21:15h). Sale y dice que no podemos cenar, que van a cerrar ya la cocina y que la próxima vez para asegurarnos la cena reservemos. Me parece lamentable una situación así, no iría de nuevo ni aunque me lo recomendase algún conocido. Nos hemos tenido que buscar la vida sin poder cenar después de un viaje de más de 5h.

A las 21:20 ya no se puede cenar cierra la cocina 21:30 .no me esperéis no tenía reserva pero no estaba lleno y a las 7 de la tarde no voy a cenar .

A menu that has not changed in the two years that I've been eating in Portico Mar! The food was very rich and didn't agree with me or a couple of our fellow diners. The house wine - a red in this case - was awful and half.of.thw caraffe remained at the end of the meal. I can think of no more damning a criticism from four people who really enjoy a nice glass of wine! The value for money is poor - this is not an inexpensive restaurant - and the service was very slow on a day when the dining room was almost empty, with only five or six tables occupied. I won't be back until I hear that there has been a significant improvement in the menu, the house wine and the service. One of our company is a vegan and despite the website claiming that the restaurant caters for vegans and vegetarians, this was not my companion's experience on this or other occasions. Such lazy and throwaway comments should be removed from their website.
