De mis restaurantes favoritos, tienen recetas únicas, el servicio es rápido, hay música en el brunch. Y me encanta que es un huerto con mucha vegetación y los gatitos son el toque más tierno, me encanta el lugar. La comida sin duda sigue siendo muy deliciosa.Lo recomiendo muchísimo.

Súper lugar 👌👌 tengo la suerte de tenerles como clientes y hoy tuve el privilegio con mi esposa de ser sus comensales. Comida súper rica, lugar increíble, atención excelente y apacible acompañamiento de la mascota sin costo adicional 😂😂, el panini de roast beef y el club sandwich de pechuga de pollo mmmmmm buenísimos, jugo de naranja y cafecito (sote) americano fue el brunch de hoy, les dejo la fotos. Si vienen a desayunar los chilaquiles divorciados son muy buenos.. si vienen a comer la recomendación son los camarones al coco. De postre el tiramisú no falla. Muy rico todo lo que comimos. Buen sazón. Buen ambiente. Muchas gracias.

Uno de los pequeños lugarcitos que puedes encontrar en ajijic, súper agradable para desayunar, una bonita terraza llena de plantitas. El personal muy amable, los platillos súper ricos, el café y el té, delicioso. Si tiene oportunidad de llegar a visitar, puedes desayunar rico, y apoyar a los pequeños negocios.

Muy agradable el lugar, al aire libre y con variedad de plantas, es un restaurante muy bonito al que iría a desayunar varias veces a la semana. La atención es muy buena, los meseros muy amables, nos atendieron muy bien, no tuvimos ningún inconveniente. La comida estaba muy rica, yo pedí chilaquiles verdes y una limonada natural y las 2 me gustaron, aunque la limonada sabía un poco ácida, le cambiaría eso.

This fine cafe was the first place I dined when I arrived Lakeside in 2021. This week my adopted Mexican family and I celebrated my hermano's birthday here for breakfast and all ofus had a wonderful time.The owner and her 2 waiters were very kind and helpful and all had a great attitude and can-do spirit. The Food, Service, and Atmosphere were beyond 5 star. They deserved and received a very nice tip and we left very satisified with our visit there. We will be back soon.Thanks again!

Today we tried Huerto cafe in Riberas. A very cute sitting area with flowers and lots of umbrellas to keep the sun off of you. The servers were very pleasant and the orders came very fast. I got the Eggs Benedict which is a favorite of mine. Hollandaise was smooth and very flavorful. The English muffin was nicely cooked as some places over cook them which makes it hard to cut. The Eggs were perfectly cooked..I got it with some great potatoes and crisp Bacon. Mom got the Peanut Chicken which was a Thai inspired dish with fresh vegetables and a very sizable Chicken breast. They have a large garden in the back and grow their own herbs. We will definitely go back as it was a very nice relaxing place. I also got a delicious Pineapple/Mint Agua Fresca. Excellent service and some of the best food we've had since we moved to this area 7 months ago. (And we have eaten out a lot!) Excellent, freshly made green juice. Many healthy and vegetarian options. I had the omlette, which had more veggies than I've ever gotten in one. (It had cheese and turkey ham in it too, which a vegetarian could eliminate.) Many coffee drink options. I had an expresso and added cream and raw sugar. They have an option to add a liquor to it - to early for me to drink that so can't comment on it.

Update for 2022: Tried Huerto Cafe again this past weekend. Service is substantially improved over previous visits, and food was frankly excellent. The atmosphere is still charming and welcoming. Full marks... Original review below: Nice setting, good atmosphere, sloppy service Huerto Cafe is one of those 'Secret Garden' kind of art-cafes you drive past a dozen times without ever noticing. The setting is actually quite charming, given the fact that it's right next to the main Chapala/Yocotepec road. Food is OK, though the carpaccio was sliced thick enough to be a minute steak and lacked half the garnish and accompaniments when it was first served. Coupled with the fact that it took almost 20 minutes to get the first beer, this made for a mixed dining experience. It's a shame, because this little cafe could really be a cut above.

Wow! Love everything about this fantastic lunch spot. Beautiful venue with rotating large format paintings, tons of plants, and almost everytime I've been they have live music, including the immensely talented Black String (Violin & cello/guitar). Great service and there are two lovely cats that sometimes come to your table and sit in the chairs. They also, still, strongly observe COVID protocols. Claricot, green juice, and cold tea are all excellent. Guacamole was good, would have been perfect with some freshly ground black pepper. Lentil soup was the best lentil soup I've had, but did have bacon in it. Nicoise salad was very good, lots of tuna salad and eggs, tomatoes. Wild caught salmon with potatoes, beans and onions was really delicious, very nice sauce. Brisket sandwich was very nice, good amount of meat.

La comida muy buena, los meseros con buena actitud y bonito lugar. Lo malo, los meseros muy lentos, hay que estar pidiendo todo, cubiertos, servilletas, que falta el pan, no traen a tiempo la salsa, etc. La comida llegó fría. Y eso que solo eran 4 mesas. No quiero imaginar el servicio con el restaurante lleno. Los precios razonables. Hay que tener cuidado en esos detalles. FUE EL VIERNES 29/NOV.

El concepto es interesante. Abierto, las mesas pequeñas y poco cómodas. Aunque está al aire libre, te sofoca pues las mesas están amotinadas.El servicio y la atención es deficiente. La comida no es nada del otro mundo, las porciones son pequeñas, la presentación sin decoracion no motiva.

Un lugar lindo, comida rica, meseros amables. Acudí por ser "pet friendly" tienen unos lindos gatitos por todo el restaurante, sin embargo me condicionaron el lugar de la mesa por llevar a mi Chihuahua cuando los gatitos andan por todas partes, adicional una clienta al parecer se quejo por yo traer a mi perro en mis brazos y envió a un mesero a "llamarme la atención" de que mi perro no se acercara a la mesa, me hizo sentir muy incómoda, sí el lugar es pet friendly; la que estaba en un lugar incorrecto era ella, no yo, por lo que no volvería. No deberían manejarse como "pet friendly". (Aclaro que mi perrito jamás tocó la mesa)

Los platillos son ricos aunque vienen muy codos en cuanto a cantidad , por el precio esperaba un poco más , los meseros atentos , el lugar no está mal hablando de estética pero podría estar más bonito , el jugo verde tenía buen sabor pero se sentía rebajado ,

Fui por Café y Postre, pero sentí que le faltaba algo más de sabor al café y los postres (pasteles) estaban refrigerados lo cual para ese tipo de postre el frío hace que pierdan la suavidad.. El ambiente muy lindo y agradable, la atención de primera.. Espero volver para degustar la comida.

The restaurant has a relaxed setting with plenty of staff—at least five in the front and three in the kitchen. We ordered the Mexican-style eggs, specifically asking for them to be served hot, and I mentioned that I was vegetarian. Despite the restaurant not being busy, the service was surprisingly slow. When our food finally arrived, it was cold, and the beans came with bacon, even though I had clearly stated my dietary preference. The staff seemed indifferent, as if they were doing us a favor rather than providing good service. A workshop with customer care could be a good idea.

At first we were presented with a untoasted bread basket which is nice but no butter only a small thimble full of jam which was very tasty but only enough for 2 two pieces of bread. I tried the Eggs Benedict, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. The dish lacked flavor, with the bun tasting more like raw dough than a proper English muffin. The ham was incredibly thin, resembling a piece of lunch meat rather than a hearty slice. The Hollandaise sauce tasted like plain egg yolks and added nothing to the flavor. Additionally, my side order of potatoes was supposed to be sautéed, but they were over-fried and almost like potato chips. My wife got the Italian omelette and it was just a regular omelette with tomato sauce like from a can poured over the top of it, didn't have any kind of cheese for an omelette that's kind of strange.. The price was very expensive for what was offered, and I felt like I needed to go somewhere else to have breakfast afterward. On the positive side, the Americano espresso was enjoyable and the highlight of my meal. Overall, the experience fell short.
