Decided to go for lunch. Tori was our server and she was absolutely amazing! From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel welcoming. She knew the menu really well and gave great recommendations — everything she suggested was delicious. Our drinks stayed full, the food came out quickly, and she checked on us the perfect amount without being overbearing. You can tell she genuinely cares about her tables and takes pride in her service. Food was fire and drinks were yummy. 10/10 experience.

We had the best experience thanks to Brooklyn! She was an absolute expert server — so knowledgeable about the menu and super helpful. She made sure to offer us the all-you-can-eat option instead of the regular menu and explained everything clearly, which we really appreciated. She also told us about a new drink called the Chocoritta that sounded so good — we’ll definitely be trying it next time! Brooklyn was friendly, attentive, and made our whole visit even better. Highly recommend asking for her!

We had a great experience here with Sabrina this time. I’ve been here so many times and we never got miso soup. I was surprised when she told me it was complementary. Kumori @ Alamo Ranch is hands down amazzzzzing!! This place is my ultimate favorite to-go-to for good sushi and teppanyaki! The atmosphere is very welcoming and well maintained. The food is always fresh, flavorful, delicious and well presented on a platter like art on canvas. Fidel, AJ and Brooklyn are amazing as well as the entire staff, everyone is super friendly, very attentive and highly considerate of all their costumers needs especially when it comes to any allergens and food sensitivities. With so many delicious options to choose from it’s hard to pick although I recommend trying the miso soup, shrimp balls, gyozas, crispy rice, salads, the Fiji roll, the komasa roll, the fried Oreos and the fried banana. Kumori is a MUST try for exquisite food and a great overall experience, I highly recommend trust me you won’t be disappointed! Will definitely be back soon! ♥️♥️

So happy with the service here. My grandmother wanted to try this place but is deathly allergic to shellfish. The manager Fidel was so sweet and understanding and most of all accommodating. He was able to order my sweet grandmother a roll without the shrimp and basically made her a custom granny roll. Lol could not have asked for a better server and manager to oversee our lunch! 😊

I heard Kumari had an all you can menu, so I decided to go there so I can try a little bit of everything. My favorites were the fire cracker roll, gyozas, and the beef teriyaki bowl. I also like the shrimp balls, but I forgot the name of it. There was still a lot more I wanted to try, but honestly I got full pretty quickly. Although the food was great, I was most impressed with the service I received. My son is a very picky eater, as most kids can be. The waiter took his time, and went over the menu with my son, and explained what adjustments he can have the kitchen make, like adding sauce to the yaki-soba noodles and removing the veggies. My son still says to this day those were the best yaki-soba noodles he’s had. He also loved the ice cream with the fried Oreos and bananas. Any place that can make my kids feel more important than the adults stands out to me. Great service!!!!

I love to go on solo dates here. I come for one thing and one thing only: An Earth roll. Maybe a cocktail or two :p But a nice quiet lunch date with yummy food and good service is all a girl needs sometimes. My server, Aaron, was great! Checked in perfectly and complimented the chill atmosphere I was looking for. And on its busier days it still makes for a great spot to grab a friend (or a few!) and enjoy some sushi. Even alone :)

Went for lunch on a whim and WOW! The food is so fresh and beautifully presented, they were quick, the staff was awesome. Couldn't have had a better experience. Tried the calamari, shrimp tempura poke bowl, and the tempura bananas. Everything was so good and wowed as it was delivered. Our waitress, Brooklyn, was so sweet and double checked ingredients for our group as we had a couple food intolerances and allergies in our group and was spot on with her recommendations which was such a relief and allowed us to really enjoy our meals and company. The sauces were top tier and even the to go order I placed to take to my spouse was amazing hours later. Will definitely be coming here often and brining more friends and family! ❤️

The drinks were fun, larger and stronger than I thought they'd be(gummy bear and sexy sekara)... Bummer was they were awkward to hold. Went for the all-you-can-eat lunch. Haven't been here in a while so don't know if it's always this was or just during this special. Hubby's nigiri didn't seen as fresh as the last time we came. Edename was good. Miso soup had good flavor but not much seaweed and didn't have any tofu. Tempera was very crunchy and hot. The house salad had too nutty of a flavor for me. The rolls were weird combos and I didn't like them (dry and reminded me of HEB sushi honestly). Our server was nice but she kept disappearing. Do not be in a rush because it took a long time.

We went to try the AYCE which is very competitively priced (20 before 5 pm on weekdays or 30 all day for dinner with more options. ) Only 4 stars because the food takes so long as the sushi chefs and kitchen are backed up- but tastes great and looks beautiful, just like the Potranco location. But unlike the other location, the actual staff friendliness and service is outstanding! Sandra made sure all our drinks stayed filled and was very patient and kind. She was a Rockstar. And the other team was accommodating as well when we spilled our glass. So clean too.

A friend of mine and I stopped in because we’d been craving some sushi. What a cute little place! The atmosphere was very chill and calming. We began with the Miso Soup (which was Divine), and decided to go with Gyoza as our appetizer. It was definitely a great choice! I loved how crisp they were on the outside. So yummy! I then ordered the Volcano Roll, as well as one of their lunchtime specials - The Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. Both were PHENOMENAL. The Volcano Toll had the perfect amount of spice…& I loved the crawfish and sauce in the middle! The winner of this meal though was the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. I cannot WAIT to have this dish again! It was some of the most tender, flavorful teriyaki chicken I’ve ever had. And the veggies were cooked PERFECTLY. This was all in a bed of steamed rice, that had mushrooms mixed all through it. Such a delicious surprise! Our waitress wasn’t the friendliest. She seemed to be rushing us, even though there were only two or three other tables with customers at them. We didn’t let her rush us, though. We were there to enjoy our meal, and visit. The waitress was the only negative to this experience! Overall - a great pick…& I cannot wait to go back!🩵

Kumori is a nice place. At first glance at the sushi station, it looked impressive- everything looked fresh! The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. I ordered the Mixed Sunomono salad. The salad was exceptionally delicious and fresh! It consisted of cucumbers, crab, octopus, and shrimp. It was a good portion, too. I also ordered the Spicy Salmon Roll. When ordering the roll, I asked about its ingredients, because I wanted to make certain it was made that way. I was assured it was. The sushi roll was not as the menu described. I am not a sushi connoisseur, which is why I depend on menu descriptions to assist me in making choices. The Spicy Roll was good; however, had it all the ingredients it promised, it would have been great! Sushi roll disappointment aside, I would definitely go back for the Sunomono salad! 😋

The food here is alright. We’ve had some really good sushi from here and other items that were not so good. We’ve try to stay away from trying new things and stick to sushi and some appetizers. The service though, is pretty rough. They seem to always forget something we’ve asked for (pick-up) and take a really long time. I ordered and waited an hour and 15 minutes to pickup to give them time, and they STILL took an extra 15 minutes on top of that to finish our pick up order (and it was only two items)! Update: Service is still terribly slow. They had 25 minutes to make my order. I went way past that time (45 minutes) to pick it up because I knew they’d be slow. They still took like an extra 20 minutes to finish. Food was cold by the time they added whatever they were adding. Also, I ordered a sushi because I like the sauce on top. The sauce was almost non existent and they put a whole bunch of that mayo on top. See pics. The rice…I just need to stop trying it. It was ok but won’t get it again. Server seemed irritated to have a job there.

I’d like to point out first that the food’s pretty good, really enjoy the ponzu sauce on the pot stickers and really love the Fiji roll. Sadly i think that’s pretty much where the positivity ends. I’ve been coming to this place on and off trying to see if it was just unlucky timing or just a one off day but unfortunately that’s not the case. It appears this place is not properly staffed, there’s no hostess despite being a hostess stand and on top of that, if you do manage to get seated you’re often waiting on your server to come back. Majority of the time i come to the place, i’m either stuck waiting at the front where i’m not greeted nor told how long a wait is, just stuck there standing despite the place not looking all that busy. Had multiple instances where servers constantly walk past me despite waiting to be seated and not told about a wait or even a simple “one sec, i’ll be with you in a short moment”. Is it really that hard to have someone stationed in the front to greet customers or even assure them they’re acknowledged? I will note that there are about 2 servers despite the 50 other i’ve seen the few times i’ve come, that are very diligent and always make the experience worth it. Although i can’t remember their names sadly, i will say they’ve been one of the few reasons i’ve come back. (Also note that the place doesn’t actually have 50, but the place does seem to struggle keeping servers since there are always new faces)

Extremely disappointed in this place. I have been coming here for years, but recently it has not been pleasant. First off, the food is mediocre but the All You Can Eat is a good deal. The servers are pretty friendly here and are the only thing keeping this place going. The girl host, on the other hand, is extremely rude. She has no types of manners and looks at you with disrespect. Today for the first time my husband and I wanted to try the new deal , and she did a terrible job at explaining it. She made it sound like it was common sense and like we were dumb for asking about it. I had to ask my server to help us understand, since she apparently had no want to. I will not be coming here anymore since this place wants to keep people that disrespectful around, especially a host who is supposed to be extremely friendly and welcoming. Teach this girl some customer skills.

So today I called at 3:26 and tried to place a to go order and the man answered saying they were getting ready to close. I called another one and asked what time they closed because the man wouldn’t answer the phone when I called back. They told me that all of them closed at 5. I went up there and there was a young yt dude with short black hair bagging food at the register. I asked him what time they closed he said we are only doing to go orders lol wow and this is after I called almost 25 minutes prior. I said no what time do yall close. He couldn’t tell me a time and kept looking at his watch. I asked him again and he said 15 mins which would have been 4. Then he proceeded to say that he was the the only one there. I told him I didn’t care that he lied over the phone and I knew for a fact they didn’t close until another hour. I’m pregnant and was very upset. That’s bad business, unprofessional, and just nasty. We come here often and this was so disappointing. If he doesn’t like his job than maybe he needs a new one. I was to upset to ask for a manager and left to go to another location. Tried to order the all-you-can-eat dinner at Kumori (Alamo Ranch) and was told the manager refused to sell it that late, even though it’s heavily advertised outside. Might want to update the menu or signage to avoid confusion.

My wife and I decided to come here for the first time to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had always wanted to check this place out and thought it would be the perfect spot for a special evening. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. From the moment we were seated, we were completely ignored. No one came by to greet us, take a drink order, or even acknowledge our table. We sat there waiting, hoping someone would notice -- but nothing. For a restaurant we've heard good things about, this was incredibly disappointing. This was supposed to be a special night for us, but instead it felt like we didn't even exist. Definitely not the kind of service we expected, and sadly, we won't be coming back.
