I have been going to Rocky’s and Rosita’s for 10-15 years. For sure before I had kids and I have always enjoyed the food and the prices. I have always gotten the Mexican plate with beef enchiladas. Today I went and got the same as I always do. The cashier charged me for enchiladas on the side instead of just adding the piece for adding beef. I tried explaining to her that it did not make sense to charge me extra enchiladas instead of just the difference. She became upset, raised her voice and refused to listen to what I was saying. Granted, every time I have been there the price for adding beef has never been consistent every cashier charges different but non of them ever had charged me like I had gotten extra beef enchiladas on the side. It was even more upsetting because it was two plates as there was two of us. Anyway, the lady was rude, did not listen and became very loud. I jus told her in a calm voice I was not raising my voice and did not want to argue. I just told her she did not have to explain anything to me and I would just pay what she charged me. It is a shame because I like this place and I am not sure if now I can enjoy the food from a business that yells at patrons instead at least politely telling them no.

I love their food. They have the worst customer service and your server will sit and eat with their friend as they are attending you and make you wait like ridiculously long times, so much so that we had to force them to pay attention to us, just to pay. They are horrible over the phone too, but the food is so good that I keep going 😋. Going here is like going to the soup place on Seinfeld. "No soup for you!"

Came by by and ate in. Semi-slow, not to busy. served by one waitress. She made a mistake but did a good job overall. Food was good and plenty. Restrooms semi-clean. Restaurant dinning area was clean. Parking lot is small, but additional parking across the street. Handicap parking in front. No steps. A large jukebox for music. Friendly staff. Overall experience was good. I would give this place 1½ thumbs up; 👍. Lastly and very important, $5-$10 plates 🍽. 👍.

Menu is awesome but service at night is incredibly slow, waited an hour in the drive thru which is a little much but i honestly think they might be understaffed!

Was very rude. $1.50 for a cup of water. Almost $2.00 for using a credit card on a $15 order. Time before, I was told no corn tortillas for the barbacoa even though the menu says it does. The prices people posted are old. Everything has gone up 50 cents or more. The prices are cheaper than most places, but look at your bill before you pay. Also, the service is terrible. If you catch them cheating you to save money and don't mind the service, it's not that bad.

Me and two of my coworkers had stopped by here to have dinner. We were working nearby, so we picked this place out. With regrets, we wish we had picked somewhere else to go. The food was okay. I had the special Mexican plate enchiladas. Overall, the food was satisfactory. Our main complaint was the service. The waitress or waiter was the most rude person ever. There were only two people waiting on people today. The waiter was taking our drink orders. My friend hesitated for maybe 5 seconds, and then he said I'll be back and stormed off!! Very unprofessional. When the food was ready, he came out with the tortillas and just threw them on the table. I looked at my friends with disbelief. When we needed refills, he never once came by our table to see how everything was going and if we needed any refills or anything else. Then we noticed a couple who came in and sat next to us. They waited for quite some time before he even came around to wait on them. He was too busy talking to someone at the door exit. Then my friend had to get up and look for someone to get him a refill on his tea. Finally, when we were ready to leave, we waited for our ticket and never got it. So we just got up and headed towards the cashier to pay. I'm sure that this employee has been there for some time. Maybe the establishment needs to make a change. Never again, will we ever come here to eat.

Went today to order tacos on January 3, 2026 got there at 10 am I tried to order tacos that We’re on special till 10am but said I couldn’t do it I was okay with that because it was exactly 10 o’clock. She said It’s too late but she had already took my order for two potato and chorizo and I haven’t paid her yet but she said we had already rang you up. Then I told her never mind I’ll get something else since they’re not on special then I ordered something else and she said I still have to pay for the potato and chorizo which I never got. I told her I did not want that after all because they were not on special. Then she refused not to give me nothing until I paid for the potato and chorizo these ladies are very rude. One of the ladies slammed the door in my face. I don’t know what’s wrong of doing avoid and fixing what we want. I worked at fast food my whole life and I never seen somebody so rude and making a big deal to change an order and fix what you want. Then I told her I’ll pay for the whole thing and still refused it. Never had a problem there till today. Where are the manners at? I’m so upset!!!!!! Not even the manager helped me she knew about it they still wanted me to pay for the four tacos that I didn’t want at all. All they had to do is void it out. Never got the tacos in my hand. What was so hard about that made a big deal over nothing!

there's always a long wait before you get your drink and order taken. the waitresses act like they don't see you when you first walk in and you even have to grab your own menu yourself because of how long they take to greet you and give you the menus. they even take forever to ask you what drink you want and what you would like to order. refills? what are those? they don't come around the table at all to ask if you need refills. also, the food is disgusting. which is disappointing cause this used to be my favorite place to eat at after a late concert or movie. what happened?

It was good until I took my daughter and all them vending machine are broke. They just take ur money and they DO NOT CARE to call the owners about it. Servers are Rude once u make a complaint. If Zero Stars were possible. Everything was subpar about this Location. No Chips and Salsa is absurd for a Mexican Restaurant. Even if you have to Pay, it should at least be an option. The rude waitress who looked more like she was let's just say a different field of business with the rude attitude and rolling of the eyes like unreal. I thought I was getting Punked when I was told the waitress made sure to add 1.75 for one thing of butter. I was definitely expecting a different experience considering we choose to go there mid construction. Such a shame. I am not the type to bash anything but come On. What shocks Me is that The Rocky's on Pecan Valley is one of the Best Spots to Eat in S.A.

Rocky's has fallen off, 2 years ago their food was amazing and now it makes me want to hurl. How do you mess up a brisket so bad that it's taste is comparable to beef jerky? Not to mention the restaurant is neglected so much. I wonder how many code violations they have
