Second time getting individual pizza here. I got the Parmesan Chicken pizza 🍕with mushrooms, love it!!! The customer service is pristine. The owner is a really welcoming and attentive person. I forgot to leave any review cause I was devouring the amazing food. We will definitely be coming back!

Every item hits the spot. The meatlovers calzone was hands down the best calzone I've ever had. Served fresh from the oven with the super soft dough... Scrumptious. I loved the mushroom swiss burger as well, which the loaded fries and chicken wings elevated greatly. Excellent customer service. Definitely returning here for more 🔥💯👏🏽👌🏽

Delicious pizza offerings for the traditional and adventurous taste. Check out their menu! I usually get the fajita chicken. Delicious with their special sauce. The garlic butter fries is delicious as well, also comes with their special sauce. Nice people too! Can't wait to come back to try their other offerings... If I can resist the fajita chicken pizza!

The best place in town to enjoy Halal meal. Tried their Pizza and Burger, both were just amazing. They only have seating capacity for 8 people or so on 2 tables, yet it seems mostly as a take away place. They deliver through all major delivery services.

A halal restaurant which remains open almost whole night.Serves pizza, wraps and fries as speciality.The owner Baba ( An Arab Muslim) is said to pick and cut the halal meat himself.We tries Chicken Fajita Pizza.Was delicious. Some dissatisfaction is felt on customers service, communication in English and action on feedback.Must address these issues to remain in business.

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. The place felt dirty and poorly maintained — not somewhere you feel comfortable eating. Cleanliness clearly isn’t a priority here. Dealing with the owner was even more frustrating. I was told one thing and then experienced something completely different. The communication felt misleading and dishonest, and instead of taking responsibility, there were excuses and deflection. It left a really bad impression. On top of that, the food quality did not justify the price at all. Very disappointing taste, presentation, and overall experience. When you combine poor cleanliness, questionable transparency, and low-quality food, it’s hard to recommend this place to anyone. I won’t be coming back.

I had a terrible experience at Babaz Grill & Pizza. The restaurant did not feel clean or well-maintained, which immediately made me uncomfortable. My biggest issue was with how things were handled by the owner. What was advertised and what was actually delivered did not match. The communication felt misleading, and when concerns were brought up, there was no real effort to resolve them in a professional way. I also had concerns about the transparency surrounding their halal claims. When I asked for clarification, I didn’t receive clear information, which left me uneasy. To make matters worse, the food was extremely overpriced for the quality. The taste and portion size did not justify the cost at all. Overall, this place did not live up to expectations, and I would not recommend it.

I do not recommend this restaurant. The service is consistently slow, and staff are rude and unprofessional. Orders are often incorrect, and the business lacks honesty and transparency with public. On top of that, hygiene standards are not consistently maintained. Very disappointing experience.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!! I called to order a pizza and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes, but upon arrival, I had to wait an additional 15 minutes. The owner was rude and unprofessional, and the business does not maintain honesty with customers. This has occurred multiple times, and hygiene standards are not consistently followed. I cannot recommend this establishment!

During the day, when the restaurant owner is at the shop, the service is very good and everything is very meticulous, but towards night time the staff changes and even the attitude towards the customers changes. It's a place I usually go to, but this is the first time I've seen such a difference between the service during the day and the service at night. Sometimes they work without gloves and the work clothes are not appropriate at all. It's a halal restaurant, but this is the first time in the food service industry that I've seen a place without hair caps and work clothes.

Babaz Grill is the best halal spot in San Diego, hands down! Everything on the menu is amazing — every dish is better than the last. Their burgers are insane, honestly better than In-N-Out! The pizza is next level too, especially the pepperoni pizza, it’s a must-try. The food quality is unbeatable because they use 100% halal meat that the owner personally handpicks from the finest cuts. You can taste the quality in every single bite. If you’re looking for top-notch halal food in San Diego, this is the place!

Awful awful awful. AstaghfirAllah, avoid this place at all costs. It is unsanitary (workers without hairnets or gloves or aprons), unsafe (parking is a hazard and the shady characters lingering around outside might leave you without a car to come back to), and they can't even function properly. I placed an order online, and after braving the disaster that is their parking situation, I go inside to pick up my order only to find that they don't have it. I told them the name and my order and they didn't have it. I showed my confirmation email and they still didn't have it so I had to wait an extra 15 mins to get a fresh batch made, which wouldn't have been as big a deal except for the fact that the woman cooking it was in clear violation of all sanitary guidelines. No hair net, no gloves, no apron, slightly opened shirt. And in the meantime, i watched another worker fumble someone else's pizza and set a dirty tray on it and then like a bumbling buffoon he grabbed a tray fresh from the oven with his plastic gloves and struggled to find a place to set it, either on another person's pizza like before or on some plastic soda bottles or on the counter at my hands. Yeah. I left my "food" at a bus stop and will not be returning here EVER, In Shaa Allah. Not Baba but BAD-BAD grill...

Disappointing Experience and Terrible Value for Money. I recently ordered a chicken pizza from baba,s grill and I was extremely disappointed with what I received. For a whopping $23.52, I expected a generous amount of chicken on my pizza, but instead, there was hardly any chicken at all. This is outrageous, considering you can buy two whole halal chickens for that price! I come here as I only consume Halal food. I thought not to write this review but owner seems like he is careless in taking care of his business. This isn't the first time I've had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. In previous visits, I've noticed a consistent lack of quality and attention to detail, but this time was the final straw. Additionally, communicating with the staff has always been a challenge. As someone who only speaks English, it's incredibly frustrating that the employees here hardly speak any English. This language barrier makes it difficult to address issues or provide feedback, further adding to the poor experience. To make matters worse, the owner of this establishment is incredibly arrogant and dismissive of customer feedback, making it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority here. For anyone considering dining at baba’s grill save your money and go elsewhere. There are plenty of other places that offer better quality food and value for your hard-earned money. I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant and would advise others to think twice before ordering from here.
