Fresh, clean and very yummy. The bento boxes are a great deal at lunch (all week and even weekends) they run about $13 and come with all the goodies. There tropical tea blend is the bomb. Plus you can add a dessert which is a ice cream macaroon cookie. Oh so good. They really space everyone out in the dining room which is really nice.
DELICIOUS & BEAUTIFUL presentation!! I appreciate that y’all followed the requests I made with my order. I ordered from you on Doordash because my normal sushi restaurant had issues with my order. I’m so glad I found you!! Love how you wrote notes on the bag delivery as well as on my food box.. I’m a fan now!
Sushi tastes good, especially crispy rice. And shrimp dumplings are great. Staff is very friendly and quick.
Every time we go, everybody enjoys the meal and says how it is consistently one of their favorites. Good for family get-togethers. Friendly, not fancy. I love their bento boxes for lunch.
I tried @botosushicarmelmountain for the first time, and it did not disappoint. Everything I ordered was delicious—from the sushi to the chicken teriyaki and the fries to the gyoza. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the cozy atmosphere and interior made the experience even better. They have everyday %50 of the menu deal on their amazing delicious sushi rolls, you definitely need to try that 😋😋
I usually go to Boto Sushi and it never disappoints! The service is always great — especially from Daniel and Steven — but honestly everyone there is consistently friendly and attentive. The food is always fresh and the quality never misses. My top 3 rolls that I always recommend are the Lost at Sea, Spicy Albacore, and the Dragon Roll. And with their 50% off rolls, it makes everything super affordable. Definitely one of my go-to sushi spots! 🍣✨
Sushi & Rolls are 50% off now! The perfect chance to try them and a great spot to hang out with family and friends
We had a great sushi dinner at Boto Sushi during their happy hour special which is Monday-Thursday 3-8:30 pm and Friday - Sunday 3-5:30 pm. Prices were about 30% off of select sushi rolls. We really enjoyed the Albacore Special, Red Dragon, and Scottish Salmon rolls. Our server was friendly, quick, and efficient and made our dinner a nice experience.
Such a great dining experience for sushi and sashimi. The fish is so fresh and the rolls are so unique, you will not be disappointed! My wife and I came here and we were provided with quick professional service while also getting recommendations that exceeded our expectations! I highly recommend this place and we will be back!
Such a cute place, we had lunch here. The food was amazing 👏 and they had our favourite fresh wasabi. We will be back for more.
I ate there by coincidence but was pleasantly surprised to find out they had Happy Hour. Service was excellent, very attentive, and sushi rolls were delicious! Ratio of rice to fish was great. They had plenty of tables/space.
What could be better than going into a place to eat and have some amazing and delicious food. Well this is the place. Take time to enjoy every taste. Huge selection of food. From Sushi to Steak. Great serving size. Plenty of leftovers for later. Enjoy your visit.

This place has such a cute atmosphere! The staff were all very friendly and food was delicious. The price was fair for the businesses in this area.

Great place for lunch even for a veg'n. MASSIVE menu (not for me but large selection nonetheless). Service was attentive, food was delicious. I'll definitely come here for lunch again.
Good vibes, Service and 90% of the food is top notch! I feel like Norm from Cheers when going here! Enjoy!
Hey! It’s our friendly neighborhood sushi joint! Love this place. Considered going for a long time before committing and trying takeout on a busy night. Can confirm, this place didn’t disappoint. Sushi rolls were tight, uniform, and didn’t skimp on the good stuff. Service was fast- lightning fast. Front counter was friendly, helpful, and genuinely appeared to enjoy what they do. Price was fair. Haven’t done dine in yet, but given that we’ve done pick up a number of times now, the atmosphere always looks good. It’s clean, right amount of light, and doesn’t appear to suffer under long wait times. Will report back once we dine in someday.

Great spot. Great decor. Really fresh sushi. Service can lag a bit just after happy hour/the family rush but staff is super friendly. We had 3 rolls, seaweed salad, and garlic edamame. Walked out spending about $48. If you have a five stars account they do different promos and coupons, too!
Great food, great atmosphere and amazing staff. We ordered plenty of food here, Chicken Katsu, Sushe platters, Tonkatsu Ramen, Bento, Ribs, Bulgogi, Appetizers and ofcourse Sake. The portions are large enough but not sharable. Atmosphere is classy, Standard Suhsi restaurant format, with bar seating and tables, but not outdoor seating We had a birthday girl and they had a dessert with candles, it was much appreciated 👏 This complex is usually crowded and with great choices. This place is a must try if you like this cuisine.
3.5 stars for the food and an extra 0.5 stars for their playlist, because that was my playlist! got seated immediately without needing reservations on a Friday night. The server was quick but nice, which may not always be the case in Asian restaurants. We got the salmon and blue tail tuna sashimi and the El Puesto and Lost at Sea rolls. I also got hot sake. The sashimi was pretty good. I liked the salmon more than the tuna. Among the rolls, the El puesto was supposed to be spicy but it wasn't really spicy. The sauce and the jalapeno didn't do much heat wise. It was good but I expected a kick. The Lost at Sea was supposed to be a mild roll and it was tasty. The sake could also have had more of a kick. It felt a little buttery. Is this the best sushi I've had? No. Will I come back here again? Yes, because it is good food and their music is awesome :)
Those pork buns were DELISH!!! We ended up buying 2 because they were so delicious! A bit pricey for the limited selection, yet, what little selection they had was pretty tasty. I especially liked the crab stuffed sushi. I couldn't get enough. $22 dollars a roll which was a bit much in my opinion.
had the big sushi boat and it was delicious.decent pricing and service was good.
I went here during happy hours so the deal was pretty sweet on the rolls! Highly recommend the Shark Bait rolls. I also tried the shrimp shumai. $11 bill and I was pretty stuffed. I’m definitely going back to try the bulgogi bento. The service was insanely slow Even though it was not even half full.

As a frequent customer, just noted the service quality is going down every time. In my recent visit today, the waiter was not impressed with slow service and did not pay enough attention to our needs. I had to pay at the front desk as the waiter thrown the bill on the table and disappeared. Need to improve. Otherwise we may stop going…
The restaurant is nice, however we were greeted by an overwhelming smell of “spray and wipe” an hour before closing. They were most likely cleaning all the tables at that time. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. It was very hard to find any sushi on the menu without crab meat. The imitation crab overtook the taste of every roll we ordered and they pretty much all tasted the same. Ended up enjoying the one roll with salmon and avocado the most, which was almost the only roll we found without crab meat. The cheap imitation crab meat (mixed with mayo) was the largest part of the rolls regardless of price. We couldn’t really find options without it. I would not recommend this restaurant for sushi, perhaps something else on the menu. I had to give it three stars regardless of friendly service because every single sushi is imitation crab based, about 50% of the roll.
The sushi was great, everyone who had it loved it! Teriyaki chicken and beef were middle of the road, and pricey. Service was pretty awful, our server could not be bothered to check in with us. Asking for the bill and 1 to go box got a big sigh and a partial eye roll. And for that, they decided to add an 18% tip They were not busy at all, so there was no excuse for poor service. The music was pretty loud, so it was hard to have a conversation.
Pretty chill sushi spot. Didn't like some of the rolls like the cajun, flavors were too strong. Most rolls were fine though.
Good location, service and menu. Quality of food is subpar. Expected more of this place after reading reviews and considering cost. Food presentation is really good but taste is little blend. Shrimp tempura in rolls was soggy and chicken quality and taste was just OK.

Atmosphere was nice good sized place for a strip mall well decorated. Service was weird had to order from the waitress even though I was at the sushi bar. All that was ok but the fish was not acceptable. I only ordered sashimi and it was almost thin enough to read thru and not very big. $80.00 later for 24 pieces and I left hungry. Way overpriced for what you get. Fish was average quality and not super fresh, house cold sake was the best thing I had.
Their sushi was alright and staff was friendly but the “50% off” is kind of a scam. The price on the menu is the price you pay. It’s really the price of regular sushi places and that’s their “50% off price”.
We’ve been coming here often and usually enjoy the food, but lately we’ve noticed the service has slowed down. Today we placed a to-go order for 5 salmon skin hand rolls . We paid $34 and this time they were surprisingly small. When I asked about it, I was told that they had reduced the size. This was disappointing, as the quality and value no longer matched what we’ve come to expect. We will not come back.
Not sure whats changed here but the rolls aren't tasty or satisfying like in the past, they're very stingy with the fish, they state 50% off rolls but it's not true and the only positive is the service. The rolls are made very conservative. The size and amount of fish is minimal, but considering the price, at least its not a rip off. My kid complained that the caterpillar roll was basically an avocado roll cause she couldn't taste or see the eel. The sunset roll was so plain and disappointing. The kimchi gyoza looked nothing like the picture on the menu and they might as well have been regular gyoza, there was no hint of kimchi. The worst roll was the crazy cajun. I rather they charge $20 per roll and make it big enough to be filling tasty roll, rather than $15 and have me walking out thinking of getting food somewhere else. I dont know if the staff making the rolls were new & training or if they've been instructed to create the rolls so small with thin pieces of fish, but I recognized a single chef from last time I was here in December. They have signs advertising 50% off and when I asked which rolls were part of the special, I was directed to a couple pages that showed the price being $39.99 with a red strike through and the "sale" price in black. I was told the 50% off was already built into the price of each roll. If the "regular" and the "sale" price are permanently on your laminated menu, then those are the permanent prices. Dont treat me like I'm stupid with a fake 50% off. Service was the only upside to this visit. They were courteous and quick. If I asked for extra siracha or wasabi, they were on it. Our server was checking up on us but not too much to feel harassed. At some point our server was leaving and she let us know we would be served by someone else.
I picked up two baked rolls for our Valentine's dinner, and they were a complete disappointment. The sushi looked nothing like the pictures on the menu—greasy and unappetizing. Absolutely disgusting.

Couldn’t believe they served me, the few dishes I ordered, that were absolutely unedible! Even after telling the waiter my thoughts, and returning one dish to reheat, he confirmed, ….the restraunt could not fix the problem…it was insulting that this restaurant actually expected me to consume it! I order several dishes, only two were edible, again I told the waited which in turn he told the manager who apologized… I was given the entire bill which I paid, (almost 60$) vowing never to return
would give 0 stars if I could. Really awful service, really rude, never eat here. Made us wait with an EMPTY restaurant, staff chatting and having fun while not letting us sit down with no explanation. Aggressive interaction with hostess, who only responded we can leave. Unprofessional and unresponsive. I’ve eaten here before and the food is overpriced and unfresh in the first place. So bad it seems like money laundering - do you even want customers?? You just lost a loyal family customer.
everything deserves 0 stars if i’m being honest. i walked in to a half-empty restaurant and the hostess told us we were supposed to wait 15 minutes??? which was crazy since we asked to sit down and said we could wait to order, which she then responded with telling us passive aggressively that we could leave. she had curly hair and darker skin. honestly was too shocked to be angry in the moment, but thinking back, it was super unfair and mean of them. they don’t even serve fresh fish. i hope you guys go out of business 😊😊 you can leave!
I ordered take out from here. Uber eats This is hands down the worst food I've had. I ordered the Bulogi fries and it looked NOTHING like the picture online. Its was a mess in a Styrofoam container. Hardly any fries or meat. No flavor, and cold. Put it this way....McDonald's would have been a huge upgrade. Smh....👎🏽
Extremely disappointing service ruined what should have been a simple lunch. I had to ask FIVE times to speak to a manager, Sean, because he refused to walk a few steps from his station, even though he was not busy. I was repeatedly told it was “not his policy” to talk to customers. That alone was wild. When he finally came over, I explained I have a crab allergy and asked if the crab sushi in my bento box could be replaced. He flat out refused to work with me and told me to order something else off the menu instead. The problem is that bento boxes are basically the only lunch options. There was zero effort to accommodate a legitimate allergy. The manager was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. No empathy. No flexibility. No basic customer service skills. The frustrating part is that the food here is actually very good. But this experience reminded me exactly why I stopped coming to this location months ago. The service consistently sucks, and it starts with stubborn, unfriendly management that clearly does not belong in the service industry. Good food is not enough when management has a bad attitude and ruins the entire experience every single time. I will not be back.
