Nice folks there. It's fast, hot and generally all fresh...and better, I think, than some of the other BK's. They seem to sell more chicken fries, so they tend to be better at this location. There are some rare times when they struggle to keep up with demand, but it is hard to be upset with the employees, because they know how to smile and be forthcoming with a quick apology. That something most customers appreciate and recognize we're all Human. Nothing beats BK's flame broiled burgers and spicy chicken sandwiches! You will not be dissatisfied with this location and how well they operate it. Nice job! Its worth all the traffic to leave work and take a quick trip over to this BK.

This is my favorite bk to stop at. I never have to wait long and my orders always right. I have a picky eater who is hard to please sometimes and getting mayo or lettuce on his chicken sandwich could be catastrophic.. And its always right.

My mom was hospitalized, and we just wanted to stop in a grab a quick bit. The manager was the best. Not only did she make /bag my order. She took the time to offer me words of encouragement before I left.

So this morning I went to get my two for $6 double croissant sandwiches and when I got home I realized it was only the singles. So when I went back and told the young dark-skinned girl that always works in the morning, she made me two new sandwiches no questions asked and did not even take back the old sandwiches which I did bring back. And in record time. I thought it might have been an issue and ruin my day but not at all it actually Made my day better. Thank you so much to her for being a great employee!!! Definitely goin to keep goin to this location for breakfast

Love burger king, and this is actually one of the best locations I've been to. The drive through sometimes takes a bit but my food is ALWAYS hot and really tasty. The drive though staff is friendly and you can tell they are really trying to be as quick as they can.

I placed an order for a number 1 with cheese in the drive-thru. The person taking my order was pleasant and offered me other menu choices to complement my order. Once arriving at the pay window I was greeted with a smile. Payment was made in a timely fashion and my food came out quickly. Once home I opened my meal to find everything was accurate with my order and everything was still hot after the 5 minute ride home. I plan to visit this location again as they have been good to give complete and accurate orders and have friendly personalities. Thank you.

An update (because restaurants are not always consistent): On one recent visit, I requested a burger plain ("no salad, no secret sauce, just meat, cheese and bun" -- pretty specific); it came out marked plain but nevertheless with all the (unwanted) fixin's. On another visit, I ordered a burger, got a "We're on breakfast" response. I note in passing, nowhere on their location website or in the store is there any indication that the regular burger menu is unavailable at some times during the day. Staff remains courteous, but lacking that something special in place before. **************************** We regularly patronize the Burger King at the corner of Liberty Street and Erie Blvd. in Schenectady. We go there for the convenience and the service. After all, a fast-food burger is rather basic. But this simple restaurant goes the extra mile. I have >never< been there when staff didn't smile and make "Welcome to Burger King!" sound sincere. I like my burgers free of "stuff"; these guys >always< get my special order right. This level of service is in place even when the joint is jumping. That even includes bringing something to the table, or even bringing out to your car (in the case of window service) -- meaning both better service for me and for the other customers queued behind me. In short, what makes this fast-food restaurant stand out is an amazing energy level and focus on customer satisfaction. When we feel peckish, if one of us says "Burger King", we both brighten up.

I always use the drive thru. Staff are professional and the line moves along quickly. My food is always fresh and hot. Onion rings and french fries are my favorite. Highly recommend.

6/11/21 sat in drivethru 30 minutes. Sandwich ok, very slow. 3/21 Ordered two BK FISH. Was told to be carful, there’re hot, they were hot!!! Put together relatively good also. Drive-through people were very pleasant and fast. It’s an older store and the parking lot shows it’s age, but everything is clean. 2/21 double whopper,good. Put together nicely.

I ordered the Impossible Whopper. It tasted good, but the temperature of the food was only lukewarm. Everyone's food at the table was only lukewarm. Also, they would not accept their coupons on the Impossible Whopper. Not cool Burger King.

This Burger King is a lot better than the one on Altamont Ave.. I'll actually drive across town to this one, because we've never gotten sick eating here. The other one..... every time we give in, and order from them- we get sick. The Erie Blvd location also has pretty fresh food. Never been served cold fries, or soggy burgers either. Don't judge....sometimes you gotta have a Whopper!

Update: They haven't made any mistakes with our orders in a while so I'm glad they've gotten a handle on that. So no complaints from me these days! Honestly If you're gonna do fast food, then Burger King is definitely the best fast food option out here. They also have really great deals when you use the app. The loyalty points system is great too. My only complaint continues to be the mistakes they make when preparing orders. It doesn't happen all the time but enough times that it's become worth mentioning. It's things like adding mustard when you requested no mustard or not adding lettuce when you payed extra to add lettuce... Not getting it "your way" can be pretty frustrating. Honestly, they have the best fast food deals in Schenectady, so if they get a handle on that, I'd have no complaints what so ever. The majority of the staff is nice and friendly, they keep their parking lot and drive through pretty clean, and they really do have the best fast food deals around. If you use the special offers in the app, you can get a meal for literally half the price of a McDonald's meal. If you're gonna do fast food in Schenectady, you should definitely go with BK.

This location always has the best people on the job and the food comes out very timely and hot. I've only had them get my order wrong once and they were very very helpful. Currently the water button doesn't work on the soda fountain but by far not the worst place I've ever been. Keep it up BK

New Management has really taking this Burger King a long ways. When I visited the other day the staff was polite in efficient. I hadn't gone to that location in several years because the entire staff looked in acted like they lives in the dumpster out back.

Fast service for a small drive-through

Went here with my father a couple weeks back for lunch, service was cordial and food was excellent for our taste buds. However, I did notice a bit of uncleanliness on both the floor and some of the dine-in tables, moreso on the floor. I would get the staff to check the floors and tables to clean them more often. While this is going into the more urbanized section of the city, I would recommend coming here for breakfast or lunch as not knowing the area right here, I don't know what to expect at night inside or the immediate exterior of the business.

Good staff and food, but gave me indigestion because Fox News was on blaring strangeness. Remind me to just get 4 nuggets and share my regular meal with my toddler. The specials are worth paying attention to since they will usually save you a bunch. This particular bk is an interesting mix of downtown folks. One of the few completely integrated places around.

We don't visit often, but the coupons made it worth it. Even though it was busy, not a long wait for food, and it was made correctly. The young lady at the register was nice and polite. The dining area was clean.

The staff were very friendly and courteous. My experience ordering the food and receiving it was 5/5 stars. However when I tasted the food I was disappointed. I don't know what it is about this Burger King I've never had this issue before. The fries pissed old even when I first pick one out of the bag on the drive home. The chicken nuggets tasted off I can't really explain that one well. The Whopper was fine. Lastly I must add that at the dr. Pepper I ordered tastes very watery. All in all I think I will be avoiding this Burger King for the reasons stated above in the future.

Drive-thru order, the woman working was very friendly even went to the point of giving us a cup of water as she heard my fiancé cough which was extremely sweet. We ordered a variety of things from the 3 for $7 with chicken fries and two burgers, a whopper combo and a couple of the honey mustard chicken wraps. All the food was hot, fresh and came out quickly as well. The only thing is we've ordered BK before and never had an issue but this time we both felt quite sick after eating. Unfortunate to say I fear getting BK in the future. Service was no doubt great but I think something is off here in the kitchen.

I went in and placed a mobile order. There was a coworker who was fresh off the clock that was waiting for his order as well. The associate behind the counter gave him my order and he reached his hands into the bag, without gloves, before proclaiming that it wasn't his order. The associate behind the counter then tried to hand me the bag, all nonchalant, as if another human being didn't have his hands in the bag. I'm sorry, but in this pandemic, one should know better than to think that that is all cool and play it off like that is normal. I am rating this restaurant a two because the associate remade my order after I complained about it but I am still downgrading them for the experience...

Not very clean and there soda machine is not clean and never stocked.

Listen it’s processed food fast- but it was hot out and I was thirsty. The wait in line was extremely long (20+mins) and once you’re in line it’s very difficult and unsafe to get out. So I stayed and prayed it would move along so I could go about my day.

Came at 7pm, 5 hours before listed closing time, to pick up some takeout, doors were locked with no posted signage explaining why. Ignored by employees in the restaurant after knocking even though they were taking drive-through orders. Even saw employees sitting on the front counter.

If you ordered a T Mobile Tuesday deal through the app this location will just cancel it because they don’t participate in the deal. Which is fine, but they should at least tell you and not wait until you find you’re missing an item after you went through the Drive thru. You’d think with the amount of people in line they wouldn’t be so cheap about their garbage food, but oh well.

I usually have no problem here at Erie Blvd. Been ordering and coming here for years but today y’all really have to get it together. Got the 2 for 5. 2 Whoppers with cheese, no pickles and I got 1 whopper made correctly and the other with no cheese but had pickles. Come on now, I know y’all can do better.

Tonight hubby asked what food I wanted. I told him that I did not want food from there. He bought me a grilled chicken sandwich anyway. After about 10 minutes of silent refusal, I decided to show appreciation by taking a bite inspite of the strange smell that enveloped the car. Seconds later I spit the whole mouthful out. The smell was putrid and the texture felt under cooked. I bit into the worse smelling and tasting sandwich I have ever put in my mouth. I started to feel nauseous and had to hang my head out of the window to get some air. 🤢 I offered it to hubby and he was equally disappointed. We both had to suck on Halls candy just to kill the poisonous aftertaste that rested on our tongues and conquer nausea. I'm scratching my head trying to figure how they successfully messed up something as simple as grilled chicken bread lettuce mayo and 1 slice of tomato. My hubby suggested that we tossed the chicken and just eat the bread. He didn't make it passed the the first bite. The nastiness permeated the bread. It was just awful. This restaurant deserves negative stars.

Waited in line for 40 minutes. Once we finally got to the window at 9:40 we were told that they were only open for Doordash orders. When we stated that we had already been waiting 40 minutes, we were told it wasn't their problem. The website states they are open until 1am. This place is a joke!

I go there in the morning sometimes when I get out from because I work overnight but anyways there are mornings that they serve me at 6am and then there is this one girl that always says they aren’t open till 7am which is a lie cause they open at 6am everyday. Order was wrong after waiting 15 minutes in the drive thru. My Burger had so much sauce on it the bun fell apart and they forgot the 2 zesty sauces that I paid for with my onions rings.

This place is the worst if your sign says open late you stay open until the time noted. Then once it hits that time lights off and clean and close. My husband and I ordered 4 of the new chicken parmesan sandwiches and 2 medium fries around 12 am. I drive all the way home to bit into a raw clucking sandwich. I get all the food back in the bag drive all the way got there at 12:50 that's 10 more minutes until they close ...the staff there I could clearly see still wearing headsets ignored me at the drive through window and at 12:55 they turn off all the lights I just waisted $26.94 on still clucking sandwiches. Gave me the wrong sandwich and refused to correct the mistake. Even other customers in line were telling the staff they gave me the wrong sandwich. I know the difference between a Big King and a regular hamburger. Apparently the staff at this Burger King doesn't know, doesn't care, or probably both.

All Burger Kings are not created equal. The one I visited tonight was good, some of the others are questionable. I had a nice quick dinner, and I was on my way. The order was taken quickly, and before I know it I was in my car eating. A few weeks ago in a different location I ordered the two chicken sandwiches for (and I say that loosely) $4.99. I got through the first one, and they second one I threw out. The chicken, and again I say that presumably, was something that may have been prepared out of a nursing home. It was a creamy consistency covered with breading. I don't think I've ever eaten anything quite like it before. It was awful.. It didn't stay down either. It was more like a purée, for people without teeth to gum and consume not enjoy. The sauce that the sandwich came with was at this point indescribable. It was not before long before I was tossing my cookies on the side of the road. When I approached the management I was told that this particular combination sandwich has little if no chicken in it as it is processed and reprocessed, and the sauce could never go bad as it is engineered as it would never. He pointed out the sandwiches on the menu that are chicken and not engineered. I did get my money back over that fiasco. He was ok about giving my money back, but I definitely left lasting impressions on the traffic riding past me on the roadway. I believe this menu item needs to be removed. I have a strong stomach and a healthy appetite but for the next couple of days, that was not the case. I was in the food business years ago, so I know how some things operate. There is now substitutions for quality reviews of items being offered. There are no substitutions for quality control either. I have been back to the place where this all took place, but I know what to order and what to stay away from. I ask you, is it better to steer away from a menu item better than steering off the road to put in a revolting show for onlookers.

We have never seen such ridiculousness! 40 minute wait in the drive thru, when we get to order- wait another 5 minutes, just to be told they only have chicken & fish products! So our normal order of 2 whopper meals, 2 cheeseburgers, onion rings & jalapeño bites- changed to 2 chicken sandwiches. Then had to wait at least another 5 minutes to pay & pick up. And the chicken sandwiches were dry with a minute amount of condiments. Very disappointed as we frequent this location often when we go to casino.

The staff were very rude to me just because I wanted some food. They closed the lobby at 11:00pm and I went through the drive through. I didn't get a response until I went up to the window. The website says 6am to 1am on Fridays for the lobby and 6am to 1am for drive thru.

I used to work at a fast food place so I'm normally pretty lenient. But between 30 minutes plus wait times in the drive-thru, rude staff, and closing at seemingly random times (seriously what drive through nowadays closes at 10:00 on a saturday?) It makes me wonder if Burger King is a franchise is letting their standards slip.

The place is really tuned down. The soda fountain drinks were really warm (which I was told it can cause mold to create really fast but I’m not 100%, let’s hope not). I found a hair in the ketchup from their container inside, I told them and they didn’t do anything about it which is kind of disgusting. The burgers were cold and I wanted to say something but I was completely ignored so I just ate it. The chicken sandwich was sooo dry but hey, at least the fries were ok.

I went to burger King to get 2 chicken sandwiches, no lettuce add cheese and a small fries. This is what I got. On top of that the small fries had like 7 fries. This cause the person (transgender) had nails on as long as the fries. Most of them ended on the floor along with ketchup packets.

They were amply staffed to handle the mobile orders as well as the drive through. Mainly due to half the ppl in the drive through leaving. If i wasn't 4.5 hours away from home and had eaten something all day i would have waited in line just to tell them to go pound sand.

Where do I even begin with this nightmarish visit to Burger King? From the moment I arrived, the scene was set for a truly dismal experience. The exterior of the restaurant was as welcoming as a haunted house, complete with a brawl between some unruly characters outside, making it feel more like a back-alley fight club than a family-friendly eatery. Inside, the situation didn't improve. The dining area looked like it hadn't seen a mop or a rag in ages, with tables and floors grimy enough to make you lose your appetite. The staff seemed utterly indifferent to the chaos, both inside and out, contributing to a service experience that was as lackluster as the ambiance. When my food finally arrived, after what felt like an era, it was a stark reminder that not all burgers are created equal. The 'flame-grilled' burger was so overdone it could have passed for charcoal, accompanied by fries that were more oil than potato. My soda, diluted and flat, was the final nail in the coffin for any remaining expectations. But the real kicker was the ongoing commotion outside. Not once did any staff member attempt to address the situation or reassure the customers inside. It was as if dinner and a show had taken on a whole new meaning, albeit one nobody asked for. This visit to Burger King was not just a letdown; it was a complete and utter fiasco. Safe to say, I won’t be returning, unless I’m in the mood for medieval theatrics over a meal.

Pull up to the drive thru and get a someone ask "can I help you". I say, "1 cheese burger and a small fry. After a few minutes wait and no reply back, I pull up to the window and find they don't have my order. The voice I heard when I ordered was a recording. Had to make a stop off the Thruway and this was the only place open I would consider eating at. For breakfast they didn't have any coffee?? I think the kids who were staffing this place needed much more supervision then they had (only one mature adult who obviously wasn't looking forward to managing the kids or the operation). My father and I were there on 8/29/2023.. the dining area, mens room,counter top,etc..all uncleaned,a trash can out in the open,the roof was dripping water,no wet floor sign ,the staff was talking so loud ..never again. Also..the outside of the location..very dirty as is the inside from top to bottom.. employees included.

Had a lot of great experiences here. However, the last four visits have been unpleasant. Something wrong with my order every time. Most recently I got a single whopper after paying for a double whopper. Not the first time it's happened. You can't teach the employees how to count all the way to 2??

Worse place to go to in the morning, I’ve worked at fast food restaurants and I never interrupted my customers I made sure I gave them all the time they needed. They weren’t even busy I was the only car in the drive thru.. I come right after work and I do not like the way I’m treated.

The food is fast food. Something pops over the intercom and a gentleman then replies with sorry can you repeat that. It is clear that the problem is known and either a it is purposeful or b it is managerial neglect. The customer service is not polite doesn't seem to be honest and does not care. For 10 chicken nuggets I was given three dipping sauces. Calories per dollar cannot beat the price. However customer service needs to be customer service and not a line of defense for a person who doesn't seem to desire to be doing what the person is currently doing.

Burger King is the WORST for stealing $65 from me. This location I never had a problem. The location and the people are not my issue. It took 2hrs for BK to deliver my food so the ice in the drink was melted and the food was cold and inedible. I took the food back to see if they'd remake it and I understand and accepted that they said no. If I worked there I would've said no too. So, trusting the BK was going to give me a refund, I spent another $40 to order in store to try it again. There is no customer service when things go wrong. There's a chatbot that doesn't chat. It takes like 24-48hrs for an email response. It kept kicking back my email replies so I could never tell what went through and what didn't. They offer a $15 digital support coupon. A coupon? A COUPON?! Nah give me my whoooole $65 back so I can go elsewhere. They'd probably refund $5 or maybe $10 but don't count on a refund for a whole $65 because there policy states "delivery times are approximate and we don't have to give you a refund if we don't want to."

This may be the worst burger king I have ever been too, and I’ve been here multiple times. Not a single time they have given me my order correctly. Every time I go here, the staff is incompetent and does not listen to my order. Major management and employee issue. Do not eat here unless you want to receive a completely different order than what you asked.

After waiting over 5 minutes at the drive through just to order (no other cars in the lane at all), I waited almost another 10 at the window for a burger. The food was fine, but the service was non-existent. Worse yet, the amount of yellow jackets around the drive through is excessive, with 3 of them winding up in my car. Need to hire pest control. I would recommend going elsewhere.

Place is super unsanitary and dirty and has stains all over the walls, on top of that was waiting in line for about ten minutes before the cashier was yelled at by what looks like the manager to stop taking orders after the lady in front of me was done ordering her food. What kind of restaurant closes kitchen during rush 3 hours before close ? I know it’s a fast food joint but come on.

I had to do a pick up tonight on a order for my kids and ordered a plain chicken sandwich and they got mayo on it and are allergic. Now if my kid took a bite without looking they would've been dead. Thanks to all the crew members for not listening to me ... And I'm missing half of the order my other child didn't even get their order of a burger and fries. I tried to call numerous times and let it ring more then 2 minutes and it is not busy because I live all the way in glenville I'm not going back. Yes you should inspect your food before driving away but it's very late and coming home from a game isn't exactly my first priority . I'm so disappointed

I went there with my sister and ordered my food. the workers were so busy playing around and talking they got my order all wrong. its my fault for not checking before I left but it was not busy. when my sister ordered they not only forgot some things but they were so rude to her. I will never go back there again. the workers had the nastiest attitude. fries were hard and cold

Everything about this store is nasty. Manager is rude and not fit to manage store nor employees. Manger humiliated me in front of customers and laughing about my situation with her workers in my face. My food was cold, salty and not right. I was told to pull up to the front door entrance and wait for my fresh hot food. When it came out it was the total opposite. I knew something was off because I was the only car who had to wait for their food and the drive thru line was pretty long. I went inside to return this nasty old food and get my money back. Inside the restaurant was filthy. Food and trash were everywhere. The Floors are always black and dirty. Safety issues all around this place. Someone is going to get hurt or sick. I’m still fighting for my return. The sad part about this is I wasn’t able to eat or feed my family because of this incident which lead me to an emotional anxiety attack at home…
