Today was our first time visiting this place, my family and I, and we came all the way from Oceanside, and I must say, it was well worth the drive. It was delicious. We ordered two large pies. While we were waiting, they even provided us with some slices to try. That was a very kind gesture on their part. They are extremely friendly. We are eagerly anticipating our next visit. To the gentlemen who attended us when we walked in at the register he was so nice and welcoming. Thank you
Bronx is always our go to pizza! We come here all the time and get the porko. The pizza is huge so we always have left overs! Love how no frills the place is and super easy to drive over, pick it up, and bring it home. The flavor is spot on. We have my tried some other pizza spots that are good but we always come back to the Bronx!!!

Killer pizza! The BEST NY thin crust pizza here in town. Staff is efficient and has that NYC feel. They’ve embraced a little hole in the wall feel with excellent pizza by the slice or whole pies. Cash only but there’s an ATM.
I LOVE Bronx pizza! This places gives all the vibes! The owner and the workers are so kind and respectful. Their pizzas are so good I literally went right back after my lunch break just to get another slice. I will continue to recommend Bronx pizza to my friends and family.

I’m from NYC, queens to be exact and my dad grew up in lower east side manhattan. He always took me with him everywhere and we’d stop for some pizza. Been in SD a while now and the pizza craving was becoming an itch I couldn’t scratch. Just needed some greasy pizza like folded in half grease dripping down your face and this spot does it right. Great customer service too. The guy who served me was super sweet and hooked it up since it was closing. Some good ol New York City hospitality San Diego style.
This place is the bomb. Centrally located in Hillcrest area. They have great NY style pizza sold by the slice or the whole pie. Quite a few choices for veggies and meat eaters by the slice. If not, you can always have it made your way with a whole pie. Very reasonable priced, especially nowadays with prices being so high. 2 slices and a drink for $9.00. You can’t beat that. Plenty of seating space. No alcohol, No credit cards. ONLY CASH. Good thing is they have an ATM on-site. I can eat here regularly and never get tired.

First of all the pizza is great and cheap, best combination ever specially in the area where this is located. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, they got heaters We spilled our drink that we bought OUTSIDE and the cashier guy let us grab a drink from the fridge in our frustration and helped us throwing the broken can we had away❤️🩹
Took a short trip to San Diego, this pizza place was fireeee! It was busy on a Sunday night! Ordered slices instead of a whole pie, so we could try different things. Each slice was 10/10. The porko and the pesto! Wow! Delicious! Soooo good! I wish I was able to get more of it, but they close on Monday and Tuesday. They do only take cash, which is the only bummer. They are more than reasonably priced! The atmosphere was cool. I liked the decor and theme that they went with, very authentic. Overall a great spot!

I ordered the tomato basil cheese pizza and well worth the $4! The guy working the register suggested two other toppings which were just as good. I highly recommend you bring cash, because it’s cash only. I didn’t see much parking so plan ahead. It was a good eatery in the Hillcrest area so give it a try.

One bite, everybody knows the rules. Bronx Pizza Walk in and it already feels right. Loud walls, no frills, very “we sell pizza, not vibes” energy. Exactly what you want. If a pizza place feels calm and curated, I’m nervous. This place is not nervous. We went four slices deep. Pepperoni, white, classic cheese, and the pepperoni-meatball combo. That’s a legit sample size. No cherry-picking. No hiding behind one hero slice. Pepperoni first. This is their fastball and it lands. Good crisp, solid grease level, pepperoni cups doing their thing. Foldable, holds up, no flop disaster. Very respectable New York-style slice. Cheese slice. This is the honesty test. If you mess this up, pack it in. Bronx passes. Balanced sauce, not sugary nonsense, cheese doesn’t slide off like it’s trying to escape. Simple, clean, dependable. You could eat two without realizing it, which is always dangerous. White slice. Easy to screw up. Too garlicky or too heavy and it’s a problem. This one works. Creamy but not sloppy, good flavor, doesn’t knock you out halfway through. You still feel like a functioning adult after eating it. Pepperoni-meatball combo. Bold move, and it pays off. Meatballs are legit, not dry hockey pucks. Together it’s hearty without being ridiculous. This is a commitment slice. You order this when you mean business. Crust across the board is solid. Nice chew, good bottom crisp, folds properly. Sauce stays in its lane. Cheese knows its role. Nothing is trying to be Instagram famous. No gimmicks. Just pizza doing pizza things correctly. Is it life-changing? No. Is it really, really solid and worth coming back for? Absolutely. Final score: 8.2 out of 10. Would return. Would order the same lineup again. Bronx Pizza understands the assignment.

This place is overrated. I appreciate the service and atmosphere but the pizza is not the best NY style in San Diego. Theres are better pizzeria in SD already. Maybe back in the day it was great as foretold but now it was so basic…to the cheese , the sauce and toppings. I grew up near NY so to call this Bronx pizza is insane honestly. The pizza itself was salty which caught me by surprise. The good thing about the pizza is the bread, it’s soft and tasty( by itself)but you will get a wave of saltiness which pretty much ruins the favor of the bread and the pizza as a whole.
