Super fun place! My kids had a blast there. Also is great because you can drink a beer while the kids play. It is a win win :)
Pretty loud...lots of younger people walking around...looks like a good place to take kids or a first date
Such a fun spot! 🎉 My kids had an absolute blast there and didn’t want to leave. There was plenty to keep them entertained, so they were happily playing the whole time. Seeing them laugh and enjoy themselves made the visit totally worth it. 😄 What makes this place even better is that it’s enjoyable for adults too. While the kids are busy having fun, you can actually relax and grab a beer. 🍺🙌 It’s not always easy to find a place where both parents and kids are equally happy, but this one really manages to pull it off. The atmosphere feels lively and welcoming, making it perfect for a casual family outing. It’s definitely a win-win situation — the kids get their playtime, and the adults get a moment to unwind. 😊 We’ll absolutely be coming back again!
Fun place for games. Great drinks. Some of the food is very good, some sub par. It also varies from time to time. Different cooks I guess. I usually like the flatbread. I don't recommend the wings. They have a huge variety of games and plenty of fun things to do there. Great place for first dates. Also lots of TVs if you want to go watch sports while having a drink or meal.
We had a truly unforgettable time celebrating our friend Angie here. This would be an incredible place for teens and kids to thrive. There are numerous games, games with prizes, delicious food, and refreshing beverages. The restrooms were immaculate, which is vital to me. Overall, it was a a memorable and fun experience to create with friends and family. We will definitely be back.
As old as I sound, I can honestly say my kid has grown up going to Dave & Buster’s in San Diego‘s location that we have attended from the various games to conversations over various streets. This is a family playground thank you to the management team security team for making my family feel safe and welcomed every time we enter shout to lie universe as well, but of course shout out to the management team that location would not run as successful as it has been if it weren’t for everybody on that team so thank you. I would highly recommend the nachos. Sometimes you have to request extra chicken walk always hit the spot as well as a strawberry cake and of course, check the website for all discounts that are applied to certain days and veterans of course receive a discount
Dave Buster is my favourite arcade of all time. I love it here so much come here with my family a lot the food was amazing. I lost the ring here when I went this past time and the workers were incredibly helpful and had found it immediately and had it ready to pick up Highly recommend.
We went to Dave & Buster’s today, expecting it to be a mess, but it was really nice It started very busy, but we very easily got to the games and they had very good ticket prizes. And even after the beautiful experience at Dave & Buster’s, we had unfortunately lost a ring and the amazing staff at Dave & Buster’s were able to find it. so very recommended
Food was great! Had a couple friends meet us after motorcycle meet. Stayed there for hours, place is so big doesn't feel so crowded and there was always games open. It was really good for a Saturday night. Our waiter was so attentive and sweet.
This Dave and Busters rocks! The food is great, the sports bar is always poppin and of course the best part is the games and arcade. It is very easy to lose track of time in here because there’s lots of games to play and it’s very fun. The prizes are pretty cool too. It’s awesome for adults and kids alike! I hit the jackpot on one of the games and it was CRUNK!
The food was very good, our server brought it to us hot and delicious. Our server was very attentive, she checked on us often and was very nice to my daughter. The place was nice and clean like always. The games were working properly and there were so many options for prizes for my son to choose from, after he collected his points.
Dave and Buster's is located in the heart of San Diego's Mission Valley. It is easy to find and there is plenty of parking in the area. The dining rooms and restroom were clean. The first visit can be a bit overwhelming trying to figure out where to go. If you are eating, there is a host stand tucked away and hard to see at first. If you are only playing games, you have to buy a card with game credits. We opted for dinner before playing games. They offer a nice variety of menu items including appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, pasta and a few other options. The server we had was Sonja and she was very friendly and efficient. There is a wide variety of bar items available and the prices were reasonable. They offer many games for all different interest. We went on a Wednesday when the games were half priced. It is a fun place to visit. They play loud upbeat music throughout, so it does make conversations difficult if you are coming to socialize.
Guitar Hero is my favorite game they have, lucky for me they have two of them. Dave and Busters has all the best arcade games racing, shooting, zombies, skeet ball, basketball, all of them. My family and I always have a great time there and look forward to finding new games and winning lots of tickets.
Well, You don't really come here for the food and service. Which was mediocre at best. But the games are fun. My daughter enjoys coming here and can just wander around pretending to play the games if I let her. Great way to goof off with the kids for a couple hours
First time going to a Dave and Buster's, and I gotta say, it's a very cool arcade and restaurant mix. The food was delicious, but what surprised me was how soft and moist the cake was. Absolutely delicious would get it again. The service was OK, but the server could've been a bit better. We had one who was real in and out and felt like we couldn't get the full order out properly to her, especially when it involved getting the drinks first. The arcade part was a blast, though some of the controls on the machines have to be calibrated or fixed up a bit since some were either not very responsive or had some jitters and sometimes worked the other times. I'm also a new member for the rewards program, and I couldn't find a Dance Dance Revolution machine around the time I was there, so I was a bit bummed knowing there's a challenge I wouldn't be able to complete since some things aren't accessible or aren't there. Overall, the place is great.
Went Thursday for the $21.99 all you can eat wings and unlimited games. The wings were decent with good sauce. They come 5 at a time. The waitress brought out two orders to get started and additional wings came quick. The games, on the other hand, were a little disappointing. You could only play about 20% of the games. Only blue lit games were available. Most premium games and games with tickets were not available. Still had fun though. Overall, it was still a good deal and fun.
Dave n Busters is trying their best to adapt to modern gaming and entertainment trends. It's difficult... This is one of the older locations in the company. They would do well to look at how Round 1 and Main Event are making it happen and consider a similar route. The food has gotten better but the service has a ways to go.
I went with my friend who is handicap and the place is not adapted enough for a electric wheel chair. Not right now, due to the fact that 2 of the bar areas where not open do to construction and the bar that was open was on a stage making it hard for my friend to be able to order himself a drink. Very crowded and over all no space to sit and eat. We had to sit in the front and order to go because I was told it would take at least 1 hour to get food when it had already taken us an 1 hour just to get drinks. But no hate to the cooks very good fries nice and crispy and the spices very good. My friend got the double cheese burger and I tried the chicken sandwich pretty good.
Here is a case of great place to be but it seems to not want you there. Had a recent group event here. Getting tables was easy, we had about 20+ people in seperate groups for my daughter's football team binding event. 1 server assigned to 20+ people is bad to start. Server refused to take full orders from each group and insisted to do drunks then appetizers then food orders with each one done only after the previous was delivered and he got alot wrong. 30 minutes in amd he was just delivering waters amd drinks and since its 1 guy most were wrong. Finally after 45 minutes while he was trying to only take appetizer orders I demanded he take my full order of app and dinner order due to the rate that he was going no one would eat for an hour and we can leave the table or kiss our chance to order. By the time everyone's food came most of us were very fed up and would have left if not for the kids. No one i talked to seemed to have any idea about anything about the whole place except the current task they were doing. On the food. Its nearly all prepackaged and precooked food. Little flavor and not worth the price tag associated with it. Better food at chillis for less cost. They did turn beer into a fun idea of an all you can drink card. Get a cool card and fill your cup at any of like 20 draft options. Super cool if your into beer. The games, the real draw of the place. Some really fun games. Some are broken seemingly regularly but most are really fun. They are only worth the price on half price days. They are fun but their price structure will have you burning through $50 in less than 30 minutes. Parking is excellent and ease of access is pretty great. I would go to let kids run around but the bad service, poor food quality, I really wouldn't want to be there myself.
If I could give this place a zero for service I would. I sat down hoping a waiter would come and assist me and it never happened. Mind you I was right next to people who were being serviced but they just weren't the same skin color as me if you know what I mean. It really pissed me off because we were here on Christmas eve for my stepson's birthday. Since noone would help me while I was at a table I had to go to the bar for water since I breastfeed and anyone who knows about breastfeeding understands that women have to stay hydrated and eat more calories than normal. The woman bartender was nice originally when I had my daughter with me. Then I went back to the bar a 2nd time with my stepson for more water and a mocktail and the male bartender gave me the water with an attitude and the woman made a smart comment about me getting more water and he walked away without me being able to order my drink. I took my stepson back to my husband and tried 1 last time to get my drink. The same male bartender says to me "do you have cash or card or what"? I told him I had cash and he brought me my drink and walked away. I left a $5 because my drink was $5 and he says "its $5.36 so you're trying to give me less and not give me a tip". I called him out for walking away when I tried to order my drink originally and he didn't apologize or acknowledge his bad customer service. I left another $5 and walked away. So I couldn't get service at a table then got shitty service at the bar. On top of that I needed to change my daughter and the changing table in the bathroom was broken so I had to change her in a booth. We came in town from another part of California just to celebrate my stepson's birthday in San Diego and I'd never come back here.
The food was very mid. It tastes like reheated cheap frozen food . I didn't expect it to be great but it was very unimpressive. The gaming area was okay. You can definitely spend a few hours with family and friends and enjoy yourself , and drink if thats your thing. Seems like its the place to be if you are an alcoholic.
We’ve always liked Dave & Buster’s, but this location was a train wreck from start to finish. We waited an unreasonable amount of time before anyone even came to our table to take a drink order, and it was not busy at all. My wife ordered a frozen drink, and instead of telling us the machine wasn’t up and running, they brought her a melted, slushy mess. We refused it, and they only took half the charge off the bill until we pushed back. The server actually seemed annoyed that we questioned it. Our appetizer was forgotten and showed up after our meals, clearly having sat under the heat lamp. The food runner looked irritated that I even asked about the missing appetizer and the ranch they forgot. Meanwhile, we watched about 5 to 7 servers standing in a circle chatting while we were sitting there feeling ignored. There was absolutely no excuse for that level of neglect given how not-crowded it was. We spent over $200 on mediocre food and terrible service. Yes, the games are the main attraction, but if you are going to seat people in a restaurant section and charge those prices, you should know how to serve people who are there to eat AND play. This place is awful. We will not be back to this location. The sad part is that other Dave & Buster’s locations have been great for us. This one needs serious management attention, training, and accountability, or they are going to keep losing business.
Service was slow but we were a large party. The food was good bar food and their menu was very varied. When we finished lunch we got more drinks at the bar and wanted to go to the front section where the large TVs were showing the Padres games. The section was mostly empty. We were told that unless we were ordering food again we could not sit there. Employees could be more flexible, having in mind they automatically charged a tip of 21% to the subtotal of the bill for a party of 8. This place has work to do in the service.
We arrived slightly before our reservation on the 15th of August due to a scheduling mishap with Pest Control, which required us to leave our house an hour or so earlier than anticipated. We arrived and asked the front desk receptionist where to go, and made it clear we had arrived earlier than anticipated and asked if it was okay if we took a seat, or if we should sit down outside of the dining area and wait for our assigned reservation time. We were told it was fine and directed to "Go left, and then turn left. Sit wherever you want." This led me to a ramp into an empty seating section that had no people in it, nor staff waiting on tables. This section, unbeknownst to us, was for dinner guests and was closed. Though the device used to close the section off was NOT in place. Nor was there any signage to indicate the seating area was open only during certain hours. We then meander to a small seating area, with blue booths and tables, with only a handful of seating areas, most of which were occupied, or had not been cleaned off yet from the previous customers. A section of larger, more empty tables that appeared to be reserved for larger gatherings, and two or three tables with particularly high seating arrangements. Due to vertigo issues, the available tables would have been dangerous for me to sit in. So, a waitress led us to another dining area reserved for evening guests and directed us to sit down. Told us it was typically closed, but we could sit there. She then asked what drinks we wanted and left to do her thing. In the time between her departure and the waitress's arrival with the drinks, we were approached by a staff member with a grey shirt, presumably management, who told us we were NOT permitted to sit there and that we would need to sit somewhere else. Apparently, without having checked with anyone on his staff to see if someone had sat us there. My mother was calmer than I at this point, and she told them our situation. I had left feedback via the Opentable app on which we had made our reservation and even now I am unsure if it has been read. TLDR: Food was good, server was great, management was less so. If an area is closed off for dining, please ensure the dining areas that are unavailable for seating customers are blocked off and clearly labled and your staff does not contradict established protocol
This is truly The Worst time coming to Dave and Buster's. So, we made a reservation for our party of 15, my grandson's 9th Birthday party. We do Dave and Buster's twice a year for birthdays. Well Sunday 2/15/2026 2:30pm we she up to set up the tables and we're told by manager Chelsea that 75% of our party have to be here to be seated. I told Chelsea that we want to order our food and plus the lids are hungry. Well, Chelsea stuck to her story, talking about it's policy ( a straight LIE) We were here last in August. I should've known better from the last incident when we were here ( the waitress just takes it upon herself to add her tip onto some of our guests bill, including mines.) So, I had to get a manager because I was so 😤😠🤬😳. I just did not have words.
My experience at Dave & Buster’s was not only humiliating, but deeply concerning from a legal and accessibility standpoint. I was visiting with my fully trained service dog when I was suddenly surrounded by approximately six staff members and security personnel and accused of allowing my dog to defecate and track it into the game area. The alleged “trail” originated from a small area filled with children, yet without conducting a proper investigation or calmly reviewing footage first, staff immediately blamed my service animal. The manager repeatedly assured me he “would not lie,” stated that they have 30 cameras in the area the got everything on video, and claimed he personally saw video footage of my dog defecating and could show it to me. Despite this claim, I was confronted publicly and escorted out of the building before any professional, respectful verification took place. My service dog was under control, actively working, and did not relieve itself in the facility. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), businesses are required to allow service animals and handle situations appropriately. Publicly surrounding and removing a guest with a service animal based on an unverified accusation demonstrates a serious lack of training and understanding of ADA obligations. Being swarmed and escorted out in front of other guests was one of the most embarrassing experiences I have ever endured. The only resolution offered was adding money to our play card, which does not address the discrimination, humiliation, or emotional distress caused. I expect this matter to be taken seriously. Proper ADA training and clear procedural protocols should be implemented immediately to ensure no other individual with a service animal is treated in this manner.
Very disappointing experience. Staff acted inconvenienced and were unhelpful from the start. Despite plenty of open seating, we were repeatedly told to “find a seat” and directed to areas with no available tables. Tables weren’t being bussed, and the place was extremely messy. Bathrooms were dirty with paper towels all over the floor and unflushed toilets. The overall atmosphere felt hostile and not customer-friendly. I was there with two kids (ages 9 and 10) and still wasn’t offered help with seating—instead, we were told to sit at the bar or find a table ourselves. Won’t be returning to this location
I will never come back or spend another penny at this establishment again. The employees here are extremely shady. I waited at the bar for 15–20 minutes while the bartender continuously helped only the men who walked up after me. After repeatedly asking if I could be helped, she finally took my order. Because of the slow and dismissive service, I did not leave a tip for the quick drink I purchased. I know exactly how much my drink cost, and I even received the original transaction notification at the time of payment. Later, when checking my bank account, I saw a different total. The bartender added a tip to my receipt after the payment had already been processed. Since I didn’t take a copy of the receipt, the business is now refusing to handle the situation or make it right. I have never had this happen at any other establishment. The fact that their employees alter receipts after customers leave — and management refuses to take responsibility — is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I will make sure others are aware of how shady the staff is so they can protect themselves when visiting this place
