Came from Atlanta to try these pastries and it did not disappoint! They were delicious!! They were not too sweet and wonderful mix of flavors. Our favorite was the mango! Then blueberry and pistachio! My toddlers had fun trying these. Clean place and great vibes.
I am obsessed with the Halloween vibes at Desserts By Clèment today! From creepy skeletons to desserts crafted for a fun Halloween theme, they are in the spirit all the way! I live about an hour away, but any time I'm in San Diego, I must stop by! Originally came down the first time with my nephew who saw the viral desserts on TikTok. They are as delicious as they are beautiful! Today I tried the skull and pumpkin and they were a taste of heaven. The skull is rich, creamy chocolate with a raspberry center and melts in your mouth. I also tried the pumpkin which is light and airy with a smooth chai/pumpkin flavor, it's not too rich, which was perfect. I'm excited to come try their sandwiches sometime. I didn't realize in addition to their desserts, they also have actual food too! And super yummy coffee drinks. Thanks to everyone who makes this place so special!
By far the best trompe l'oeil pastries in San Diego. Super cute location and easily accessible. Plenty of parking. The lemon was by far my favorite but if you can't decide get the sampler pack!
I discovered this place from Instagram posts so I had to try it when visiting San Diego. The shop is adorable and the woman at the counter was so friendly. She helped me select the perfect pastry to bring back home to NH. The holiday mushroom I had on site was delicious and worth the price. I only wish they had a few dairy free options for people with allergies. They do have gluten free though. I will definitely come back next time I visit.
Dog friendly and really wonderful desserts and pastry selection! The pistachio latte had just enough nuttiness for the flavor, but not overwhelming. I really loved my caramel pastry that most, flakey pastry and not oily, but the caramel inside was plentiful and decadent. I was relatively full afterwards. Staff was warm and greeted my puppy excitedly, even helped me carry my food outside since I had one hand full with the furbaby. Street parking is plentiful.
Super good!! I love being able to eat art! They tasted so good! Im really pleased with how they turned out. They weren’t overpowering but just the right amount of flavor. Will definitely be coming back.
Tiramisu was really good. I would definitely go back here again. The presentation of all the fancy deserts was spectacular. A lot of preparation goes not only into the quality of ingredients used but into the amazing appearance and display as well. I especially like the fruit shapes and fruit colors. They are all very delicious!
This place was incredible. Their desserts and croissant were some of the best I’ve ever had! The mushroom desert was a hazelnut chocolate dessert, super creamy and rich. The mango dessert was filled with a white chocolate mousse I believe, and fresh mangoes. The Dubai chocolate croissant was to die for- I mean from the flaky croissant to the filling inside, so good. Parking was not easy to find. Be ready to drive around 5-10min especially if it’s the weekend. Outdoor and indoor seating available, and lots of coffee and drinks! Definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in San Diego/Pacific Beach!
I was visiting from Colorado and I purchased a verity of desserts Saturday evening I drove about 16 hours with these babies in the back seat and let me tell you they made it! They’re beautiful and delicious this place will definitely be on my lest every time I visit San Diego
They taste as good as they look! We got the mango(extremely popular), blackberry and mushroom (chocolate mousse). The cafe is great we all got cappuccino. This is a an amazing place to visit with family!
The mushroom was 1000/10. I enjoyed peanut 10/10, tiramisu 8/10, and raspberry 7/10. I would come back for those only. Mango, blueberry and the variety pack were not good. The lemon was too sour.. But overall the others were worth. 10/10 on the realistic looks of the pastries. Nothing was too sweet, which was really good.
I visited Desserts by Clement with my 7-year-old daughter, and we had a pleasant experience. The diner was spotless, organized, and had a warm atmosphere. The customer service was excellent, definitely a 10/10 for friendliness and professionalism. I didn’t order anything for myself, but my daughter tried the raspberry, mango, and skull pastries and rated them a 5/10. Overall, a beautiful spot with great service and presentation.
We tried nearly all of the artistic fruits! Our favorites were: The Mini Strawberry, because of the bitter taste it had. The Mango, because they compote filling. The Newst fruit art, The Coconut drink, because it has two very complimentary flavors of Pineapple and coconut together. While other places uses a chocolate casing to hold in the mouse & competes, this place does not!!! Thank god! The only one that had a chocolate shell stem was the mushroom, which helped hold the mushroom cap. It was delicious, even though im not a chocolate nor a hazelnut fun. These are beautifully presented on top of a mini biscuit/cookie. Today, they had a box of minis for half off which were $15! I had a cup of tea, and it was honestly very good! The hot water was brought to me in a mini hot pot and the bag had nicely dried leaves and flowers. This food artist is a must try!!
Everything was so delicious! I tried the mini pack and loved every bite—especially the blackberry one🫐 And the coconut-shaped one!! 🥥 my favorite!!🫠I’m in love with them! Honestly, the best desserts I’ve tried in San Diego so far. Highly recommend📝
My family and I came here after coincidentally running into Clement on the road. It was delicious; We ordered a hot caramel latte to go with our desserts and according to my wife, it was unlike any other. We recently had a party and catered the mini desserts as well as the mushroom, raspberry, and pear. Everyone there had nothing but great things to say about the sweets. The process of getting the desserts was very easy, thanks to Clement’s wonderful communication. Overall you will definitely visit this place multiple times after your first, hands down.
Excellent ham and cheese on a croissant! This is the sandwich they make in house, not the ham and cheese baked into a croissant. Really good Mocha Latte and black brewed coffee also.

Nice and comfy interior. It's small, so if there's a line, it's a lil uncomfy. The mushroom and the blackberry are my favorites so far. I was wary of the lavender flavor in the blackberry, but it was so yummy and refreshing. As for the mushroom, it's just such an indulgent mixture of chocolates, and I love good chocolate. If you're looking for a nice, safe choice--just right--then the mango is the way to go. Finally, the raspberry was my least favorite. It was just a tad too tangy for me, unfortunately. Overall, I'd love to come back again to try some of the breads and other options. However, I will say that parking is a real pain, especially if you have to reverse out.
Updated Review: Today my daughters and I ordered a Tiramisu shaped as a coffee bean, a mango cheesecake, a quiche and Dubai chocolate strawberry cup. Tiramisu was 10 out of 10, the Dubai cup - 10 out of 10, just keep in mind that the portion is big and the dessert is too sweet and filling, and the mango 6 out of 10. We always appreciate how these desserts look - it’s a beautiful place with a great ambiance. Previous review: I came across this amazing patisserie by accident, as I was exploring Pacific Beach and when I saw the beautiful black exterior with a stylish sign, I needed to check it out. And OMG!!! It appeared to be a fantastic dessert spot! I couldn’t believe my eyes and that I actually discovered a new hidden gem!! The selection of dessert are so unique, pretty and mouthwatering, everything in that cafe is very instagrammable, they carry baguettes, croissants and savory items too, although on this first trip I only got one dessert, because I got there after a good breakfast and wasn’t hungry. But I am definitely coming back because I want to taste everything else. And I am bringing my girlfriends and I am bringing my kids. They will all love it - the ambiance is very uplifting, the details are great, everything is so tasteful, you got a little taste of France in this boutique cafe. The macaron shaped pillows, beautiful accents everywhere, friendly service - great Parisian experience in Pacific Beach. The chef l is actually a finalist on Food Network’s Spring Baking Championship, his name is Clément Le Déoré. He also offers baking classes and while in line for my dessert a lady told me that she took three of his workshops and absolutely loved them. So I am going to keep an eye on the schedule.
New review -I tried their too good to go order before, they just gave me two really old almond croissants which made me feel very disappointed. But this time I went there again for dessert, since I just had brunch very close by. I asked the staff Raspberry or Mango, which she would recommend, she answered Mango without hesitation. So I chose mango to give a try, it was sooooo delicious! Even though their price isn’t cheap but the quality of the dessert is really high, it’s worthy of the cost, it is like an artwork. Precious review- I’ve heard so many good things about this dessert store. There’s one day I found it available at Too Good To Go app. I was supposed to be that area that day and grabbed the TGTG bag. The store was busy and beautiful! Their desserts are so pretty as well. While the TGTG bag was just two almond croissants inside… they definitely look like leftovers and the skin wasn’t crispy anymore. The waitress was a little bit impatient and rushed, it was kinda busy but she’s definitely not that happy that day to show on the face. I might come back to try their desserts in the future but the croissants didn’t taste that good.
Tiramisu Bakery item was good. It didn't taste as good as tiramisu but interesting concept. Their drinks were very good though. Good ambiance and area for a quick drink.

Came here at 11 AM on a Wednesday. There were plenty of available parking spots at that time. I pre-ordered the items I wanted through yelp for pick up. I ordered the mushroom, the pear, the mango cheesecake, and the sweet box. When we arrived, there was no line and only 1 person ahead of me. My order was ready and nicely packaged. With all the hype I was seeing on social media, I had very high expectations. Everything looked too pretty to eat. The mushroom was very sweet and could only eat a bite of it. Same thing with pear. It was very sweet. The mango was my favorite. Would I order these again? Probably not. They were too sweet for my taste. My mom loved them all though and her opinion matters more than mine. But I will definitely come back to try the pastries.

This visit wasn't by my own decision, but rather a recommendation by my wife who took me there. It was hyped as a really unique desert spot and she wanted to try it. She ordered everything and had a variety of options to try. I really liked the chocolate mushroom shaped dessert and the raspberry cheesecake was pretty good too. I had a cinnamon roll croissant it was ok a little dry nothing special. The "Dubai" chocolate strawberry cup really wasn't my thing, but it was actually pretty good. Overall it's not my kind of dessert place, but if you are looking to venture out dessert wise give it a try.

Tried the croissant which was enjoyable due the perfect balance softness and flakiness. The blackberry cake was severely disappointing as the Sahara-like dryness of the poppyseed cake, thankfully the blackberry compote was the star but not enough to save the cake as a whole. The mango cake was better the compote was the star again, the cheesecake cream was a nice touch. The establishment itself was nice and had a parking lot which definitely a plus!
I went in really excited about the viral fruit desserts. They’re honestly beautiful and super fun for photos and videos. Presentation-wise, they definitely deliver. Taste-wise though… it just wasn’t it for me. The mousse tasted pretty basic and didn’t have much depth, especially for the price. It felt more like you’re paying for the look than the flavor. I don’t regret trying it once, but personally I don’t think it’s worth the price unless you’re mainly going for the aesthetic.
Kind of disappointed in the viral fruit pastries drove all the way from Fallbrook to try them wasn’t very happy or satisfied at all.. had the mango the mushroom and the raspberry definitely not worth the hype. Spent $39 on three fruit pastries that I didn’t even finish. The mango tasted like mango baby food the mushroom was way to chocolatey and the raspberry was dry .won’t be going back here again!
