Definitely didn't expect this place to be so good ! Came here for bottomless mimosas for the My brother, dad and husband but even the food had us surprised. Mimosas were delicious! Perfect balance of champagne and orange juice that didn't taste too strong of either. Definitely one of the best momosas I have tasted. Only downside here was that the service was quite slow in terms of the mimosa refills. We had to call them multiple times to refill us. (We came to the restaurant with 1 hour left of the brunch service So we're hoping to get quicker refills but they took quite a long time) COBB SALAD (Romaine Lettuce | Chicken Breast | Hard Boiled Egg | Bacon Blue | Cheese Crumbles |Pickled Onions | Grape Tomatoes) - So ginormous and so delicious! Quite a large amount of bacon and blue cheese so I took some of it out but it was so good on its own that I didn't even need the dressing! THE BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH EVER ( Wild Boar Sausage |Over Hard Egg | Cheddar | Bacon Jam | Cheddar Chive Biscuit | Rosemary Potatoes) - Husband got this one. He really enjoyed the flavor of everything. Everyone on the table tried and liked it as well. The cheddar chive biscuit was quite a surprise. I absolutely love those Rosemary potatoes on the side! So perfectly crispy and didn't seem to greasy either. Right amount of Rosemary flavor on there and just a beautiful side dish overall. NASHVILLE CHICKEN SANDWICH (Fried Chicken House Slaw | Pickles | Spicy Aioli | Brioche Bun) - This was one big sandwich! Really giant chunk of chicken in there and good amount of coleslaw and aioli as well. Flavor was on point too. Good amount of spiciness in the fried chicken and went well with the slaw and ayoli and pickles. Everyone loved the sandwich. BUTCHER'S BURGER (Blend of Bison Wild Boar & Beef Bacon Jam | Cheddar | Lettuce | Tomato | Crispy Shallots | Garage Sauce | Brioche Bun) - my brother got this And definitely enjoyed. He's a big fan of burgers and loved the portion size on this one. It was one of those burgers that is just very loaded with fillings and that made it so much better. Came with fries on the side. Generous portion size of the fries as well, and no complaints because those were good fries!

Home to the Minnesota Vikings fan during football season. I’m surprised I haven’t ate here at this restaurant. My Bestie and I went here before our comedy show and we were not disappointed. There was no wait when we went , I was able to see the ambience of the restaurant. It is so cute when it’s stressed up for the Minnesota Viking fans All we ordered was Parmesan truffle fries, and pork belly fried rice and even though it was just a little appetizer we had before our show it was so delicious. We also had some of the cocktails. My favorite is the ” young, dumb and broke.” That Drink, it is so tasty. This bar is also connected to the shout house, so definitely this is worth coming back again!

Enjoyed a lunch with Garage Kitchen and Bar with Friends. It is really nice rustic atmosphere with a full bar and seating for about 100 people. During football season it is home of the Minnesota vikings. It has plenty of atmosphere and plenty of viewing screens for sporting events. The restroom are clean. The host and service team are very good. The kitchen and bar get your items out quickly. They check on you often which is appreciated. It's often crowded and worth the wait. A solid menu of bar food and select entree dishes. Their specials definitely attract people. Drink and food specials throughout the week. It's popular. The manager Clifford is very active being sure your experience is satisfying. Today we went for the $6 hamburger and fries combo special for lunch service. It's an amazing value and is very tasty. A solid burger at any price and they have good wings as well. If your a drinker their pricing and specials are a great value. Check their Instagram and Facebook. We highly recommend the Garage Kitchen for a good time.

This place is awesome. I came for a Vikings game and had a blast. The food was great and they have deals for burgers that are so cheap they make Mcdonalds feel expensive. I would gladly come here again for another football Sunday. They had most of the morning games on which was wild considering they are a Vikings bar. My only downside is the servers were cool but they have deals based on time of day and when I was 3 mins till the deal started they made me wait to order but then did not come by for another 20 mins and then the food came out 30 mins later. Which was a huge bummer.

We had an amazing neuroscience group get-together at Garage Kitchen + Bar! The vibe was energetic and fun, perfect for a night out with friends. I tried the chicken tacos, and they were delicious fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The drinks were great too, and the service was friendly and fast. Overall, a fantastic spot for food, drinks, and a good time. Highly recommend for groups!

The bar is located right next to the Shout House. We went here for Happy Hour before our party next door. They had a great happy hour with 51% off drinks, excluding some specialty cocktails. Some of the food items were $2-3 off. We ordered a lot of drinks and food. It was good bar food. My favorites were the Ahi nachos and Carne Asada fries. The 5 side chicken wings were a little plain and shrimp tacos were soggy that night.

We went for both dinner and brunch on friday and saturday. I had the blue cheese burger, cooked medium. The burger was pretty good and the pieces of thick cut bacon were cooked just right. I think the burger could have used just a little bit more blue cheese. The parmesan fries kinda sucked. My wife had the Ricotta Gnocchi, she liked it and would order it again. Today, we went back for brunch. We wanted to try the smores french toast and carne asada eggs benny. Both were pretty good.

Great brunch place. Super busy on weekends so will recommend making a reservation in advance. We were lucky to find 4 chairs at the bar right next to each other. Food was great especially Eggs Benedict. Their pan cake was huge. But the best part of brunch was their special Bloody Mary. Overall good experience. Service is slow thats why 4 stars.

Went here for brunch with family. Tried to order the 1.5L mimosa for the table and they were out. Tried to order the short rib benedict for myself and they were out. Ended up ordering steak and eggs (with minimal help from the server) and the steak was overcooked. It was very loud, I think the room just amplifies all of the voices in there. It wasn't even that full but I felt like I had to yell to my family members to talk. It was very mid. I won't be returning.

Zero Days

A stylish pub-type restaurant with table and Barton service. The service here was quick, despite being busy, and the staff were very friendly. The food was good, but not exceptional. Portions were a bit small for the price, and drinks were comparable in price and size to most of the other restaurants in the area. Overall not a bad choice for lunch/dinner, but wasn't my favorite during this trip.

A bit under staffed for a Padres game day but the staff was hustling to get things right the first time and the food was delicious. We had the Avo Toast, side Salad with ranch and a breakfast burrito. I loved that you can get your beer in a Stein! Highly recomend!

Food was decent. Atmosphere was fun. Service was terrible. I have never seen an entire staff go on break(except one server who had a paty) at the same time It was crazy. Watched people walk up to the empty host stand and leave because no one would seat them.

Was looking for a great experience on Halloween night of food fun but was disappointed greatly. 1st the location was not overly busy so there was no excuse for the service we received from the server NAOMI 1st she was not inviting at all made no suggestions and was very rushy which we really didbt appreciate. We ordered the loaded fries which was good and buffalo wings which we ask to be fried extra crispy which they were not because our waiter was rushing and didnt Write anything down. Happy hour drinks were on point so cheers to the bartender! Additionally it was game 6 of the world series and the waiter kept coming back asking if we're ready to check out...WTH should you be trying to keep us there and offer us other food items or drinks wile we watch the game??? She was very poor at her job and needs an attitude adjustment and some training. Again food and drink were ok but with better service this would easily be a 4 plus!

Lost my business forever. I live 2 blocks away and come almost every weekend. I was able to look past their pre mixed mimosas. However their host is terrible. There were 3 empty tables and my friend and I were asked to leave. I do understand if maybe we were being loud (we were dancing and singing, I specifically come here for the music + football so I didn’t think being loud was a problem). However we were trying to drink our water and finish our fries to help sober up. I’ve never been asked to leave a bar anywhere in gaslamp (especially with zero customers waiting). For future customers, go up a couple more bars to GOODNIGHT JOHN BOY, better customer service and a safer atmosphere for women. I will miss the burgers here, but not worth it dealing with that host
