Great neighborhood brewery! Harland has fantastic beer! They serve multiple different types of beer from sours to lagers to ambers. They also serve seltzer. Recently, they started serving wine. One of the wines they serve is Tablas Creek which is a great Paso Robles winery. We are a big fan of theirs. They recently also added a food truck kitchen called Ocotillo. The food is delicious 😋 Our favorites are the Tuscany salad, fried chicken sandwich and fried pickles. We do miss the pizza they used to have but Ocotillo is a yummy replacement. You definitely come check out this brewery.!

Edit Sept. 2025 Ube Day was a huge hit. Easy access to pickup 4 packs before a nice major event. They always have tasty beers and a good vibe to watch Padres games.

We didn't know there's a this good brewery near us! Their drinks are so special!!! I definitely recommend some unique flavors - Ube milkshake IPA, Melona Sour, and Tropical Fluff are amazing! Please come here to try their really unique and delicious drinks! Plus their space are fun, they have pool tables and many game machines.

I had a great time with my friends I like the beer, I ordered Rising Petals and a Big Chick Energy and both were great. Went with friends and played some arcade games, also they are pet friendly and had pool tables

Love their West Coast IPA and the beertender service is excellent. Came here on a busy Thursday night with both kids and the pup. Even with a biotech Meetup event happening I never waited more than 2 min for a beer when a small lined formed at the bar. 🙌🏼 Kids had a great time playing around the corn hole set and with the arcade games. Poseidon Project was serving up delicious wood fire pies 🍕 . We had the Hot Honey and it was 🔥🤌🏼

New to town Harland brewery is coming in strong. Delicious beers, doubles and a colab with monstera already. Harland brewing found the nitch that ballast point had and (sold out and lost) Amazing open happy vibe here makes me feel like I’ve been going here for years. Ca t wait to see this place grow. They’ve got my vote. The hazy double and west coast double is bomb. Oktoberfest is one of the better ones I’ve had.

This is from a truck Driver, it’s kind of hard to get to this place due to cars parked on streets, but the best way to come in, we’ll this is my opinion anyways, get of off exit 14 west on pomeroda rd, then left on willow creek rd, then onto Appaloosa rd. Then turn into the first entrance behind the building it’s kind of tight but not that bad. Receiver was friendly just pulled straight to the corner and they will unload with a jack since there’s no dock. Don’t be lazy get out and help the guy with the pallet jack inside your trailer, that’s what I did anyways and they will thank you with a happy and a smile on their face. Was empty in 30 minutes

This is walking distance from my office, not sure if it's a good or bad thing. 🙂 It has a modern, plain, very industrial look to it. Nothing fancy or cozy. Big screen TVs, some games, and a deck for outside seating. Many beer options. Had Blonde Ale as I don't like dark bitter varieties and I like the taste. No quick bites on the menu. Maybe I will stop again by after a hard day's work.

Really nice brewery. Lots of awesome drinks to try. Love the vibe here in close proximity to other businesses.

Nice place! Went for a get together with a group. Have the PB Banana Brown and it was very tasty. Also had a shwarzbier German black and it was nice.

Great selection of beers! Hazy IPA is their staple and if you're an IPA lover, you should really try it. Good vibes. Minimal noise. Very spacious for big gathering. Just wish they have more outdoor seating for group events. Plenty of parking spot. Food truck/kitchen on the premise but selection isn't great. Typical deep fried food. Hopefully to see healthier food options in the future.

Harland is a welcome addition to the beer community. Located near Newtopia in Scripps Ranch, it was a quick detour off the freeway. I went there after business hours, so parking was plentiful. I liked the industrial look it had. Nice clean design that also felt inviting. Place had lots of games from the arcade basketball to cornhole. They also have trivia. I don't know if that is a Wednesday night thing only or what, but it was cool to see. Also this place was dog friendly, which is always a super plus. They also have an outside deck, but it was closed. It would have been great if they had opened it up as the place really filled up maybe because it was Tricia night? Maybe the licenses aren't there yet. I don't know. Beers were pretty good. I had the sour, which I liked. They ran out of the two I had my sights set on by 5:30 - the Blonde and the Citrus IPA, which was a little disappointing. Also it would be great if they incorporated some kind of food into the bar, even if it's something cheap. I'll come back and give it another go. I'm excited to see what they can do after a good start.

Just be aware of signs that are posted, some specifically say that they aren't Harland Brewing parking spots.

But yesterday, when I came with my family, I had a very disappointing encounter. While we were enjoying our time, one of the servers came over and complained that my 3-year-old son was screaming and that he “couldn’t take it anymore.” This was upsetting and completely ruined our evening. We frequently visit breweries and restaurants across San Diego, and this is the first time we’ve ever experienced something like this. What do you expect from a 2–3-year-old child? Kids play and sometimes make noise—that’s normal. If children aren’t welcome, the establishment should clearly mention it. A 3-year-old cannot be quiet all the time, and families deserve to know if kids aren’t truly welcome here. Because of this experience, I won’t recommend this place for families

It's a terrible place, the beer is disgusting, everything looks like cologne!!! The bartender refused to serve, did not fulfill his direct obligations, very terrible staff!!!
