Such a great dive bar. Food is always on point. They have excellent cocktails and craft beer selections. They show NFL games with a little tag on each TV so you know where to sit to see your favorite team. The best thing these guys do on top of being a great local hangout is "Parents Party" breakfast on the first day when the kids who go to San Diego Unified go back to school. Jello shots, drink specials and full breakfast menu. It's the best party around that starts at 8 am! I look forward to it every year!

It’s a nice bar for a game night or just go get some drinks on the weekends. The food is also really good with a reasonable price! We really like to hang out here. Highly recommend the HD Philly.

Stopped by the high dive with some co-workers after a company outing at the local range. I got the gorgonzola bacon burger! Was fantastic. Slight ding on service, brought me the wrong beer once and forgot to take the order of somebody on two instances, still friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic and the patio was comfortable.

Absolutely loved this spot! I looked up restaurants on the fly, as we had just landed in San Diego and were just passing through on our way to Carlsbad. We stopped in and had the best burgers and fries ever! The staff was so welcoming and friendly, plus the service was perfect. So glad we found this spot. We will definitely be back when we visit San Diego again.

Great locals find with a huge and ever changing of craft beer choices. The brisket nachos are amazing and they have the best gravy fries I have had in California. A fun place to eat drink and socialize.

This is a really fun spot to go. They have lots of good beers a full bar and a pretty good menu to choose from for The all their food. My wife and I had a great time playing pinball on their pinball machines and you could spend an hour or more just walking around looking at all the decor On the walls and things hanging from the roof. We did not go to it but they also had what looked like a great Easter day brunch at a very reasonable price. We may have to go check that out next year

Great our of the way restaurant! The outside seating was shaded for us. Seems it's that way all the time. The service was friendly. Multiple people who came around using care of us. The food was nice and fresh, nicely spiced and all otters were enjoyed. Really a fun place and you must visit!

Cute place to hang out. The female bathroom was crazy funny awesome 👌 fully decorated and clean. We just had a couple of beers 🍻 😎 the food served for others looks like a nice size portion

Went for a fun Sunday brunch. Fantastic pancakes!! Scrambles eggs were fine, and my friend said her sausage was average. We split a bottle of champagne and got 2 different juices one the side to make our own mimosas. They have free bingo where you can win a free drink. Bingo was a little loud so don’t sit near the speaker if you want to have a conversation. Service was good and attentive, so we were happy with our server. Definitely will go again for the pancakes!

I came for the first time for trivia. The server in a pink tshirt, Alisha, acted horribly inconvenienced by our existence last night. It wasn’t too busy, but there was limited seating with a TV view for trivia. We had to seat ourselves after asking to move 3x. The seat she didn’t want to give us was a perfectly normal table for our group size, so I was confused what the issue was. We started ordering through the bar because of the bad service, which clearly made her more upset (I’m sorry but why would I want to interact with you when you talk to customers like that). Please give your servers more support if they need it, or take some seating away if they can’t handle that amount. Such a weird experience. Glad the food and other servers redeemed the place.

Whoever the pretentious woman was in the Seattle Seahawks shirt was rude and snooty. She obviously takes from Trump’s playbook and is power tripping. I came in for some lunch and football and was just treated to rude behavior by her. I had planned to stay all day and spend money and watch football. Her attitude alone made me uncomfortable. I can see through the body language that the other employees barely tolerate her. I’ve seen plenty of her type both men and women. No thanks. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

I wanted to like this place so badly but after having a dismal experience with the bartender Lulu and the food, I was extremely disappointed. From the beginning it seemed Lulu had a chip on her shoulder and she was unfriendly for seemingly no reason. I ordered the burger after seeing photos online and received what is clearly either a frozen patty or a very over mixed patty that was overcooked. I raised my concerns to three workers, all who seemed perplexed by my concerns (they kept asking how it was after I had barely touched my meal but not doing anything about when I said it wasn’t good). Finally I waved Lulu down (who was clearly avoiding me, after she heard I did not like it) and she sneered at me and said “a burger is just ground beef”. One look at this photo and anyone can see it does not look correct and at a $20 price tag, I can’t justify anyone to purchase or eat this. While I liked the atmosphere of the bar, the food and the service need a ton of work.
