Opinions de Mignon Pho + Seafood San Diego
I have to admit this is a great restaurant! This is my last day in San Diego. I searched for this place on the map. Their soup base is really good 👏!!!I didn't add chili sauce or hoisin sauce. There's music and a bar. Claw Machine!!Great for couples dating, family dinner. Updated:06/052025
Loved our food at Mignon Pho + Seafood! Great atmosphere and friendly staff, and the food came out quickly. We started with the beef carpaccio and tofu rice paper roll. For entrees we ordered the grilled ribeye pho and the garlic lobster noodle. I was really impressed with the amount of lobster that was in the noodle, whole pieces with shell of the tail and claw, a lot of places will give you just small pieces. Definitely recommend if you enjoy Vietnamese and Asian cuisine.
The bún bò huế was super flavorful. The broth had that deep, savory kick with just the right amount of heat. It came loaded with tender beef slices, pork, and a strong lemongrass flavor that made every spoonful satisfying. Definitely one of the better versions I’ve had in the area. The shrimp ceviche was surprisingly my favorite. It was bright, tangy, and packed with fresh herbs, sesame seeds, and crunchy cucumber. The prawn crackers were crisp and perfect for scooping. It felt refreshing and fun to eat. The green papaya salad helped balance everything out. It was light, crisp, and zesty without being overwhelming. It added a nice contrast to the rich broth and punchy ceviche. If you're in Convoy and want something comforting with bold flavors, I’d absolutely recommend this spot. I’m already thinking about going back for round two.
Second visit this month! Oh so goodie, good and delicious. I had the mignon pho last time and the veggie pho this time. They were both so good and plentiful. We ordered the shrimp roll again too and especially love the peanut sauce. Let me suggest the cold organic teas which come in flavors like rose and jasmine. Free refills! Don't miss happy hour with appetizer and drink specials every day from 4-6pm. The staff are very attentive and friendly.
The best Pho! I ever had in my life! I had the Spicy Rib Eye Pho, which they specialize in grilling their Rib Eye for that smoky taste, like having a steak right off the BBQ grill into your Pho.
So I've only been here once but I have to commend the staff/servers. The day I went they were understaffed and the place was packed but the server did an amazing job of making sure everyone's needs were met. The server was very friendly and helpful as well. Now in regards to the food it was excellent and far exceeded my expectations. Aside from taste the plate layout was also very pleasant to the eye. Lastly I would say this place is very family friendly and the location and parking is very convenient. They also take reservations although it is not required.
Good food in this establishment. Service was nice and friendly. And they have a lotto machine as well. Parking on certain times of the day can be difficult, especially with the spaces so narrow.

Get the filet mignon pho! It's so yummy and tender. I barely had to chew the meat! Haha. I also love the flavor of the broth and the sprouts and basil. It tasted very authentic and the portion size was great!
Definitely come for the All You Can Eat BBQ! We saw that all the restaurants around here had lines out the door, but people are sleeping on this place. So we tried it. Mark was super attentive and professional as our waiter. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. It’s not as marinated like Korean BBQ, and that’s neither bad nor good, just different. The flavors really came through from the different meats and seafood, and the option to make them all spring rolls was cool! It was refreshing to try something different! And the meal included a drink and ice cream (ice cream was delicious too!)
Love, love Pho Mignon + Seafood! The food is delicious, great atmosphere, and the staff are always friendly. My favorite dishes are the Grilled Ribeye Pho and Grilled Ribeye Steak Vermicelli Noodle Salad. Both dishes are amazing! The broth in the Pho is the best I have ever had!

Absolutely delicious these grilled filet ribeye Pho. Rice noodles, fresh bean sprouts, lime, jalapeño combined with fragrant herbs. The Pho is flavorful, aromatic and consistent, the taste never changes, because it's a family secret recipe. The broth is slowly prepared with fresh ingredients. I've been going there for a couple of years and tried other Pho restaurants before around the area. In my opinion it's the best. Also the service is great, the uniforms of the waiter's are clean as is the restaurant as well. Highly recommend it ... October 02-22 Update .. the Mignon Pho restaurant is still amazing. We returned after the pandemic twice. And last Sunday we brought our out-of-town friends there visiting us from the East-Coast. They enjoy every spoon full!🥰 December 29, 2022 Update ... Here are the last photos from the Pho Mignon restaurant. We stopped by to have our last meal and say goodbye to the crew since we're moving out of California. The food is great which makes visiting so worth it. Wishing you all at the restaurant continuous success and a life long standing at this location. 🥂
Located in a bustling plaza, Mignon Pho + Seafood is not just a traditional Vietnamese pho restaurant but also features a modern, spacious design. The interior is clean and organized, with uniform wooden tables and chairs in both square and round shapes, thoughtfully arranged to maximize the large space. The hanging lights add to the open and inviting atmosphere. They also offer fun activities like a lottery machine and claw machines for entertainment. One standout feature is their stylish bar, where you can enjoy Cocktail Happy Hour daily from 3-7 PM. During Happy Hour, they also serve $1.5 fresh oysters, which I’m definitely planning to try on my next visit. I visited during lunchtime and opted for the lunch special menu. For $17 (before tax), the combo included a bowl of pho, two egg rolls, and a drink or tea—a great deal! The pho allows you to customize with three ingredients. I chose flank, brisket, and bok choy. While the meat portions were not overly generous, the pho and herbs were plentiful, making it a satisfying meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, enhancing the dining experience. I look forward to coming back during Happy Hour to enjoy their drinks and oysters!
This place is pretty good. I like the spring rolls and the build-your-own pho. They also have a really nice draft beer list. Really spacious indoors with high ceilings. Staff is chill and friendly. The food is all right, but not the greatest. It’s good for a quick bite every now and then.
It was our first time in this restaurant. We were a party of 7 and good to see that the menu has a variety of options. The prices were reasonable. We enjoyed our dinners. Our servers were attentive and our dinners came quickly.
Good drinks. Good pho. Good clams. Good service. Everything about this place was good but nothing was over the top to make it great. You’ll leave satisfied. This place usually makes the Top 10 pho restaurants in San Diego. Better than most but no wow-factor
Big spaces. Wide selection of food. Variety of options for pho as well. Great taste and delicious to say the least. Priced just a little higher than average. The soup was good, the rare steak and beef balls. Shrimp spring roll was delicious with the crushed peanut butter sauce, though I thought they usually dip in fish sauce in traditional Vietnamese cuisine. However, when I was there, there weren’t many tables, and I was guided to sit in more or less of a corner. With 2-3 waitresses on the floor, I waited for a long time, ended up getting my bill and asked to pack the food by going directly to them. Other than the services, it’s great place to recommend.
An updated version of a Vietnamese pho place, modern decorated, modern China. The menu is nicely printed. They have a good selection of appetizers and entrees. It's more like a fusion version of Pho.

I lovveeeee their bone marrow soup!!! Beef stew was a soso i couldn’t say its stew since it was more watery then stew style! Or whoever cooked that was wrong. Our beef tongue skewer wasn’t really skewer. But taste is not bad. Every visit I try something else but my dish is always bone marrow soup!

First time here - food is good except the salmon was overcooked, the tapioca dumplings wrapper leave is too big for the bite that overpowered the contents, the crab noodle in tomato soup was tasty but I didn’t expect getting half snow crab with SHELL. Probably should put that on the menu because the picture shown misled me to think it was crab meat with no shell. The interior design of this restaurant was bit weird. The cashier counter (fast food vibe), the bar (bar like) the seating (pho shop). The servers all were very good looking and friendly, like you’re in an art museum but then there a set of claw machines in the corner (arcade like). Price point is fair, parking spots are tight bc there’s a market nearby.
I ordered the Trolley Bowl to go. The portions are very small. They fill the noodles and meat to less than halfway of the Takeout bowl and they don’t fill the soup container all the way up. The soup tasted good but the value doesn’t match up to the price point. I prefer Pho Duyen Mai and Phuong Trang.
