This is probably the best taco shop around for a quick bite of Mexican food. Prices are good. No matter what food we have gotten is has been good. The staff is friendly and accommodating, so much so sometimes you forget it's just a taco shop. Place seems clean. Items I would recommend that I always go back to are: -carne asada torta -breakfest Torta -carne asada fries - beans (refried or pot) Still working our way to try a bit of everything. They also offer you a sample size of pot beans for you to try. They do play louder than usual Mexican music. So if you plan on eating their take that into consideration. Everyone I've seen eating there do not mind it at all. Over all I would recommend this place over Taco fiesta as their food seems to be cooked better and more consistent in quality from order to order.

Simply the best. Wonderful service, amazing food and just a great atmosphere. It's my favorite burrito spot for a reason. Lots of salsa, carrots, cucumber and peppers. Chips are often offered while you wait. Just the nicest folks! Love this spot.

Got the fish rolled tacos and birria tacos. Delicious!! As a native San Diegan, who to recently relocated to the East Coast, I miss tacos a lot but also the salsa and accoutrements that I used to take for granted. Trust me, San Diego, appreciate what you got here! The staff were friendly, food was delicious and I got free pinto beans, chips, salsa and hot carrots....unheard of in Philly. (Their corn tortillas fall apart)

Place has great food. When I wrote this review I saw their current rating was 2.7/5 and couldn't believe it. They even have one of those Coke machines from 3017.

I've visited this place a dozen times or more and each time, staff has been super nice and the food is always fresh. My favorite food from them are fish tacos or something i order tge shrimp cervichi... Its the best Mexican food spot in San Diego.

Try this place, for real. Food is great. And theor hot sauces are fire

There's not really much to say about this place except that all the food i purchased so far has been decent, fresh, and well flavored. Takes a little bit long to get the food, and there is a weird smell that always lingers around inside and outside that makes you wonder. Salsa selection is pretty good.

Grabbed the special of the day the Alambre burrito, chips and flan. Every single bite was a fantastic joy to the tongue. I recommend this place for its food and variety of sauces. Food came out hot and fast. Staff was friendly. Only thing negative I could say was that the staff looked tired and would respond with low volume

The food is always good. I always ordered the rolled tacos. I'm not sure if it's the temperature of the tacos or the type of cheese, but my cheese never melts on the tacos. No matter how long it takes me to eat them, first one, last one, the cheese Is always still in its individual strands. I'm not one for spicy add-ons, peppers, salsas, carrots, etc., but they do have a really good selection of all those garnishes/condiments. They have a really great menu with a lot of variety. Love the Coca-Cola soda machine. With the huge variety of different drinks, you can get. Drive-thru goes fairly fast. If you're eating inside, you can order a free little chips and beans as an appetizer. We love it here.

I look inside and theres like 5 employees chatting it up. When i finally do get rung up, im overcharged. Drive thru menu says $12 for 3 quesabirria tacos but my receipt saya they charged me $13. I wonder what other items theyre overcharging... then I get home and am ready to eat my tacos and theres no salsa. Its a sin to eat tacos without salsa.

My first time here at this location. I ordered a burrito yesterday for lunch and ate inside. My burrito was good and the salsa selection is great. One thing to improve on for this location is to remove the young cashier taking the order. Bad attitude and was rolling her eyes for ordering and no I was not rude. Whatever issue she has got in her life needs to be kept out of the work place. Throw her in the back or something if she can’t handle a simple task. I will not come back to this location until customer service is proven to be improved and action has been taken. I’m looking at you, business owner.

The saddest excuse for rolled tacos I’ve ever seen. No guacamole at all, pico on the side (for the looks?) and some sort of spicy watered down wanna be guac sauce. The ground beef tasted like hamburger helper and had absolutely no flavor. I only had a few bites and had to throw this away. If you’re looking for real taco shop food, don’t waste your money here.

Order carne asada fries and 2 chicken tacos. The tacos where ok, the carne asada fries were fries with almost no meat. I called to make a complaint. A manager was supposed to called me back, that was Saturday, I'm still waiting for that call back. I'll never be going back to this place. Shame, it used to be good.

Went through the drive-thru the lady seemed nice enough order the chile relleno burrito no beans was supposed to have cheese sauce and the chile relleno and that's it I get back to my place and open it up I take a bite and it's nothing but sour cream half the way down and then shredded lettuce and tomato which doesn't even belong in a chile relleno burrito then I take a bite of the hard stem of the chile relleno the piece that they should have cut off and to put the icing on the cake it turned out to be a jalapeno and not an Anaheim pepper or a poblano so it was spicy I'm not from the area but I like to try different foods wherever I travel to and this place I will never come to again who leaves the stem in their chili relleno burrito
