Began enjoying Soi - Thai Street Food when they opened in North Park in '17 and the flavors took me to the other side of this planet. When they opened on Cable in OB, I couldn't believe we were so lucky and I still have that feeling. Incredible flavors and authenticity. Never leave! 5 stars, EVERYTIME.

Absolutely the best curry I have ever had!! The complex flavors and textures literally take your mouth on a journey to Thailand. It is slightly thicker and much more flavorful than what I have experienced at other Thai restaurants, more intense- similar to Indian curries. The service was also exceptional, very efficient with big smiles. The price was very reasonable considering the portion sizes. I highly recommend this place!

Always love it there. Just went there last night and I was so frazzled from a bad day and both the man who worked there and the woman at the register were so nice to me. I was being that annoying customer not able to decide on the menu. I was between curry and pad Thai and she gave me such a great recommendation to get the khao soi which is egg noodle with curry base so I kinda get both. I never had it before and I loved it and will now be part of my usual order when I want Thai.

Some of the best Thai food I’ve had. We ordered a couple appetizers and a couple of entrees and everything was well made and delicious. The pineapple fried rice had complex flavors and didn’t just rely on a ton of oil to make it delicious. Highly recommend

I got the pad see ew with pork belly and a medium heat. The pork belly pieces were hot or miss, heat was perfect for enjoying though. The Chinese broccoli was a little under cooked, and it could use more of the smoky flavor in my opinion. My wife ordered the Khao Soi and said it was almost like what she had in Thailand. The fried noodles were a little stale though

Not sure if the people or owners are from Thailand but wow this is the closest food I've ever tasted that is resembled to authentic Thai food from Thailand. Too who ever owns this joint congratulations you've earned a life long customer to the staff thank you for your warm hospitality and hard work that goes in to everyday to make this place a delicious and comfortable environment

I absolutely loveee this place. I have taken all my dates and my family! I am rating 4/5 stars on food because even though my pad see ew was delicious, my friends thought they skimped on the amount of meat in their dishes. Also they found some of their food “soggy” but that is preference. Spice level is great and for the price, no issues! Support your local restaurants ☺️🇹🇭🍲.

The vegan options are spectacular here! Pad see ew with vegan mock duck and the house friend rice with vegan mock duck was extremely delicious! The staff was kind and location is right off the main street. We’re definitely coming back!

We went in a group and ordered seven dishes to share. Every single one was amazing, and the beer offering on tap was also fantastic.

This place’s food was amazing! The padthai, green curry, panang curry, and pad see ew noodles were all flavorful and perfect spice level. We asked for mild spice and it was STILL so flavorful! Would highly recommend!

I've been searching for moo ping like the kind I had in Bangkok, Thailand, and that search ended here! The moo ping transported me back to the moment I tasted that sweet smoked pork hot off the street food grill. We also tried the fried tofu; It was nice and crispy. The Holy Basil pork dish was super savory and flavorful. The tom yum noodles were delicious as well. But the absolute winner was the moo ping. I'll be coming back for that often! This restaurant is an order and sit counter, so do not expect anyone to come get your order! Bonus: Great parking!

The food comes on real plates and not on plastic single use trays which is great. The staff is friendly and the restaurant offers inside seating but also nice outside seating on nice benches. I would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for really good and original Thai street food. Lots of vegetarian options available.

It feels like they put love into every plate they make. Looking around, every meal looked like it could be put in an advertisement. Perfectly garnished, seasoned, and cooked. The food also came out super quickly even though the place was packed. I got the Green Curry Noodle Soup and my husband got the Pork Pad Phet. Loved them both!

Second visit got the spring rolls and green curry with fries tofu- the eggplant was amazing and caramelized! Friend loved her yellow curry. (Next visit got the green curry noodles, it’s not exact veggies as green curry with rice, comes with bean sprouts, herbs, red onions, broccoli, very good!!)

Pad Thai is authentic and beautifully seasoned. Here on vacation and this place has been recommended more times than once. My uber delivery guy even said "great pick" during the hand off, and he was not wrong! Thoroughly enjoying this place. Perfect beach picnic 👌 💙

Can only judge the Tom Yum and Khao soi but both were delicious! Tone of meat, chicken super tender and soup was extra flavorful! Little shop without fanciness but you clearly come for the food. you eat and you leave no extra.

I used to LOVE this place but the quality has gone downhill over the past year or so. The taste of the food is different, the chicken is gamey, and overall quality has decreased. It’s still good, but no longer my favorite Thai in the area.

As another reviewer mentioned recently, I was disappointed to only get TWO pieces of tofu in my meal. Basically no protein and all noodles. Might have to try another Thai spot moving forward.

The service was awful. I came in on a Friday and ordered lunch, pad see ewe, the dish was so bland and had no spice ( they usually ask about spice level and didn’t) I asked if they could add spice, hoping it would make it edible, and the cashier was so annoyed saying I should have asked for the spice and just took the bowl to the kitchen. When she returned she looked very irritated and handed it back without saying a word. The dish was still very awful and now crunchy. I asked if they could remake it or if I could get something else as it usually is very good and not this way. The lady questioned when I came here before and on which days, she spoke with the kitchen and they rolled their eyes and seemed upset. They did end up making a different dish which was nice but the service completely ruined it for me. Not very OB at all.

I used to be a 'regular' at Soi OB eating lunch or dinner here since 2020. However, service ( rude, impatient, angry front of house) has changed in past year. Food quality also is now very unpredictable. At times recieved crispy rolls still frozen in center, curry no flavor, chicken raw in dishes. Kept on trying throughout 2024, but often very disappointed

The salad I received is not what I ordered. The som tom I received contained shrimp. I am allergic, so I was careful to choose the vegetarian version. on calling the reataurant, they blamed UberEats for the error. Som Tom is a very technique-driven dish. The green papaya should be julienned, then pounded in a mortar and pestle to bruise the papaya and help it pick up the other ingredients. As you can see from the picture, the papaya is not julienned, and shrimp came with the salad.

Not the worst food but I was generous with One⭐️ chicken Dry as a sole, fried pork belly tasted like fried chicken from Ralph's, cream cheese wonton we cold on the inside!! NOT GOING BACK

Food was terrible. Ordered Pad Ka Pow— not one sprig of basil, and this is mainly a basil dish. White rice was not cooked- very hard. Sticky rice was old, which is nasty. Larb lamb was not good. Wife says lamb seemed old and dry. Food salty. Get this— Mexican cook. Come on man.

They gave us a half order and told us to eat the rest of the bowl with the raw meat in it... extremely unprofessional. Once getting home with our SECOND crying tiger we realized they had cooked it so long it had practically turned to rubber. What do they not understand about "medium"? We called them once again and the lady ignored our number. Called from another phone and she immediately answered. Talk about horrible customer service. We asked for our money back and she acted like she would have to talk to her boss, when we explained how food handlers should know better than this and asked if they had their food handlers card she all of the sudden became able to give us our refund right away. I will literally never come back. If I could give zero stars I would. Waste of my time and money. Lost my appetite and can't imagine even feeding this food to my dog.
