We love love love the patio on Lamont. Every time we come here we have a great time. Their food is very tasty and their menu changes just enough to keep it interesting. They have some very nice mixed drinks from their full bar. One of the things we love most about patio on Lamont is there dog friendly atmosphere. We don't have a dog of our own at the moment so we love coming here and sitting with all the pups enjoying themselves with their parents having a nice brunch. they also provide water bowls for your dogs which I think is awesome. So if you want a great brunch with great food and a great atmosphere patio on Lamont is a must-try
Excellent pet friendly spot. Great breakfast - we had French Toast and also the eggs bacon potato combo. Free coffee if you sign up for their mailing list online. Half price drinks if you bring your pup. Great cuisine & fantastic coffee and "Hair of the Dog" cocktail. Love all the plants, the decor & the ambiance - friendly service too!
I really enjoy this place! The atmosphere is very upbeat and inviting. As is their namesake, they have a nice outdoor patio enclosed by foliage, and also a roofed area with nicely spaced booths. The food is incredible! Everything on the menu is great, whether it be brunch, lunch, or dinner. It is however a little pricey, but definitely worth it!
This is one of my favorite spots. The food and drinks are unique and I’m always extremely satisfied. Monica was very informative of the menu items and suggested the perfect things for my taste. Phenomenal service!
We were visiting San Diego for a few days - went here a couple of times for breakfast and dinner. Our server was Kyle both times - he and everyone else who worked there were super friendly and the food was amazing. Would go back anytime I visit SD.
Dined here with another couple. I had the Chilaquiles and my wife had one of the flat bread breakfast items. Both were good. Service was very good. Will definitely go back.
So, I really don't spend too much time in P.B. since turning 30 (8 years ago...hehe). I may do the occasional Kono's breakfast trip or stop in Bub's for some SteakUms and a beer, but that's about the extent of it. It really is a town for college kids...and I'm totally cool with that. With that said, I've been hearing some chatter about The Patio for sometime now. I remember when it was first constructed someone asking me if I've seen the restaurant/apartments in P.B. I really didn't know what the hell they were talking about but once you arrive, you notice that the restaurant is directly connected to the apartments of the same name and decor. We had the pleasure of breaking our Patio 'cherry' thanks to Uber (Sent us a $50 gift certificate for being a veteran)! After checking out a flick at the theater (thanks to Uber again), our stomachs were growling and we were ready for some sustenance. We arrived at the VERY modern, rustic, whimsical, awesome restaurant and guess what...it was a patio. Like an actual patio. It was really great. We started off with the fresh baked cinnamon roll which was a bit dry, but pretty good. I ordered the Turkey sandwich off the menu and an Pizza Port IPA. We also had the chillaquiles. Both were outstanding. The chillaquiles was stacked with chicken, salsa verde and that funky mexican cheese that I love. The House Smoked Pulled Turkey Sandwich was full of smoky shredded turkey, greens and some kind of fruity balsalmic spread (can't remember exactly what it was, but it was delicious). The sandwich came with some fries that were average, but the house made ketchup was the star. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in...it's a dynamite place for brunch and I'm sure it's just as good for lunch/dinner. I will be back and will definitely recommend it to others. #ReviewItForward
Very nice place, great food And great service! Try the octopus and the salmon rillette. It was very nice. I don't recommand the poki, too sweet, but the dessert was very nice too (creme brulee and banana bread with peanut butter).
The Patio on Lamont has a cordial ambiance with its open decore. We also enjoyed a very nice happy hour with terrific Tocino (pork) tacos, braised pork nachos, and a very nice draft beer & wine selection.
We went during restraunt week, after hearing great things about the patio on Lamont...So great! The steak, chicken, fried artichokes....So good. Atmosphere...Awesome. food...Awesome. Service and prices were great. This is definitely a must visit.
Hands down best meal I have had in months! We just ordered off the starters menu and every bite was a wonderful treat. Innovative food and great service. A must try if you are in San Diego!!
My dog and I love this great little patio spot! Amazing food, brunch til 3 weekdays and 4 weekends, special Mexican dinners Tuesdays, happy hour every day between brunch and dinner, those delicious dinners, outstanding service, yummy cocktails, fun and knowledgeable bar tenders, interesting and ever-changing wine selection, we love the patio!
Delicious food, friendly atmosphere and you can bring your dog! I will definitely come back here! Kobe burger was the best I've ever had.
What a great place! The service was fantastic, friendly, approachable, genuine, funny, and very efficient. Provided great recommendations and feedbacks. The food was good as well and the wine paired well. Great place to have a very comfortable and enjoyable time
Was recommended to the patio from a friend and I loved it! Monica was the one who served us and she was great! She told us about the specials and what the best things to try out were. She was also so funny! All in all everything went very well! Definetly coming back
Great hostess and service staff. Just started to try their menu, but definitely coming back because if the rest is like the cheeseburger I had?!! Can't wait.
The Patio is now the closest proper eatery to my house and I couldnt be happier about this fact. We'd been once before moving just down the street for a family brunch. We've been back twice more since our move, once for brunch and most recently for dinner. For brunch we really enjoyed the smoked chicken sandwich, the Kobe burger, the yogurt parfait, and the grilled pear salad. Even the fries were great. And the all-day happy hour deals can't be beat (bring your dog and get an extra discount?! too cool!). Dinner really blew us away. We ordered family style for the table. The Spanish style grilled octopus with pork belly and gigante beans was a last minute addition to our order and the standout favorite. A hummus sampler and cheese plate, were followed with Ahi tacos, a steak and blue cheese flat bread, and duck sausage pasta dish. None of our selections disappointed. Even the cocktail list was artfully selected and our waiter was able to suggest something to suit everybody's tastes. I was especially fond of my Paper Airplane! Thanks Patio crew! We will see you again very soon!
My wife and I really like this place! Cute small cozy atmosphere! We recommend the Brussels sprouts! But everything we have got on the menu has been gourmet!
The food was amazing...had a delicious flatbread with cheese and NY steak -- paired it with a great local brew from Stone. Fantastic atmosphere and our server was AMAZING! Can't wait to go back.
I was here tonight with a friend for an early bday celebration. HH till 6 was followed by a delicious dinner with complimentary bday dessert. The service was awesome all around, and although I was scared they might be getting ready to embarrass me when the manager came over inquiring about my bday, it turned out she was just being nice and sincerely wishing me a great evening with no song or dance:). Great change from some of the rowdy PB spots, will definitely be back.
Went here with a gf for happy hour and had a great time. We sat on the patio as the sun was going down but still shining though and it was a little hot. We split the brussel sprouts, the small cheese and charcuterie board, and the Patio nachos. It was definitely enough to split and then some! The Brussels were killer! They had back bits and maybe a sweet chili sauce. They didn't last long. :-)
The patio has the best breakfast sandwhich I have ever had! I added avacado and it’s just simple and soo good! Must try! We also had the Brussels and the poke tacos and vegetable flatbread. All amazing! Highly recommend!
Great happy hour place! Love the memories of Maui cocktail and the ahi tacos!! Also had the small cheese plate which was delicious. Server was super chill too
Food was EXCELLENT! Servings are small but so worth the price! I definitely recommend taking the wife/girlfriend for a romantic atmosphere, I guarantee it, she'll love it.
One of my favorite restaurants in San Diego. I bring my own wine and it’s totally worth the $15 corkage fee. I wish they didn’t allow pets during dinner, but I knew they did going in so I can’t well complain about it here. Will be back regularly.
I love this place. The food is always on point. It's a solid choice for brunch or dinner and the staff is also very friendly. They are also very dog friendly and gave my pooch lots of love and treats while we were there.
Great food. Try the brussel sprouts appetizer. They give you a good quantity of it. Also, if you have passport unlimited you can get a free entree. And this place is open late. They have a nice fire-place on their covered outdoor dining area. We got seats right in front of it on a chilly night. It was great!
By farrrrrr, one of our favorite places to go close to home. It's so close to our home! Happy hour is fun. Food is fantastic. The service is wonderful. Great drinks too. A must see if you're just in town for a minute. A must go to regular if you're a local. Valet parking is a plus too :-D
My SIL graduated from USD on Sunday, so naturally the family wanted brunch after her graduation. Every spot in Mission Valley had a wait over 2 hours (Im sure this place is not exception because it’s spectacular), but they were able to get us in post haste. We used their valet parking ($5), which was awesome since there’s not much in the way of close parking. The brunch menu isn’t huge but has breakfast appetizers! I’ve been asking this to be a thing for my whole life. The food is incredibly good and they have an option for unlimited mimosas, if that’s your thing. It’s not located in the nicest neighborhood, but definitely worth the drive! I will be back.
Very nice space and dog friendly! The happy hour menu from 4 to 6 offers a big selection. The burrata is amazing! It gets very busy by about 5:30 so try to arrive earlier.
Really good brunch! Plenty of drinks to choose from. We had the Patio breakfast, the frosted flakes covered French toast, and a cinnamon roll and enjoyed it all. The place is a cool spot that we will come back to again.
The food and atmosphere was great only place I know that offers valet parking and is dog friendly. It's mire upscale than most dog friendly restaurants. But not for all dogs for sure, definitely only well behaved inconspicuous dogs.
Great atmosphere. Excellent service. My wife had the bistro steak, which came with spinach and potatoes. She loved it. I had the cheeseburger, which was also delicious (but perhaps a tad overpriced). But overall, it was a great dining experience. Very unique restaurant. Dog friendly too.
The manager, Robert, was fantastic. As good as the drinks were, he was even better. Checked on our table many times to make sure we were having the best experience. He even got us a free drink on him to celebrate my promotion. Thank you Robert! Check out the nachos too, highly recommend.
We live just a few blocks away, so have been here numerous times. Their brunch is great. Love the burrito! Definitely big enough to split. The drinks are phenomenal. Especially during happy hour when they are all half off, along with the beers and wine by the glass. Great atmosphere to get together with friends and have a nice conversation with great ambiance.
Delicious. Came here as a group of 12 for happy hour. They were able to accommodate us well. Service was flawless and the appetizers and drinks were delectable. The atmosphere is trendy casual; its a pretty hip joint. $3 valet parking is worth it since parking in the area is scarce. This is my new favorite place in San Diego.
I can never seem to leave this place at least a little buzzed lol listen the breakfast/brunch menu is great. I'm usually here with my gf or buds enjoying a great meal. They have a pretty good mimosa deal for brunch. The eggs Benedict is great, the home fries are crunchy and the staff is great! As long as they are open I'll stop in every few weeks to enjoy a great breakfast. They also have good meal specials. Dinner is also good, but I prefer breakfast there. Good note, this place is dog friendly!
Great food. So delicious so tasty We ordered steak frites and octopus. The steak has this sour spice with chives and olive oil next to it that was so tasty. It make my plate a little bit oily, so maybe you can ask to have the sauce on the side but it tasted so delicious. The octopus was very tasteful too. I could feel there was a party in my mouth 😋 Totally recommend. Free Parking on the street.
I was VERY impressed with this place! The food was DELICIOUS & the service was EXCELLENT!!! I loved the atmosphere/ vibe! I googled this place because I was in town with dogs! Only thing- right before leaving a dramatic guest made a big stink about our 5 month old puppy St. Bernard walking up to his son (my puppy is 0% aggressive - just loves kids)! Next time I am in town - I definitely will be back! I will make sure my daughter holds our dogs leash tight - hahaha!
Buu buena comida y un exelente trato por parte de los empleados
Un lugar para los mejores, lo mejor del lugar
Beautiful atmosphere, great food. Most of the restaurant is located under a patio and the menu was varied between seafood and American cuisine. The prices were moderate and the service was great.
So much tasty wine. The bartenders are great at helping you choose a wine you'll enjoy even if you are not a wine expert. It's dog friendly too.
The food was fantastic the service was fabulous the atmosphere was great and we especially like the pork belly tacos. They're not on the menu you have to ask for them.
Excellent drinks and a great happy hour deals. The Brown Derby is a good bang for your buck. The edamame has a garlic soy or teriyaki glaze which gives it a unique twist on the usual recipe.
One of the nicer restaurants right in the middle of PB. I would recommend coming here only for brunch though. Their brunch and coffee are pretty great. However, their dinner menu is pretty basic and a little over priced.
The 10p happy hour is a nice way to end the night, but it's cocktails only. The kitchen closes beforehand and food is not available. Cocktails were good as usual, the Bootstrap is my favorite nightcap.
Love the atmosphere. Perfect brunch spot. Food is pretty good. Nothing amazing. Drinks are hit and miss, albeit expensive. But the atmosphere is what keeps me coming back.
Nice to see try something new and away from main areas of PB with this quaint little patio restaurant. Made reservations here during SDRW and only two of us ordered from the prefixed menu, the boys ordered burgers! Really why? weirdos. Arrived early enough to catch their Happy Hour from 3-6 PM $5 draft beers and $6 cocktails. If you like beards and man buns there is a bartender here for your viewing pleasure. Hehe... Appetizers: Can't go wrong with Burrata! Beef & Bleu Flatbread- NYC steak, Gorgonzola, mushrooms, garlic, and truffle oil, perfect! My friend and I ended up ordering the same items off the SDRW menu. These items are also on their regular menu. Apps: Short Rib Ravioli- nice portion for one Entree: Braised Pork Shank- wow amazing, and good for sharing Dessert: Some kind of berry tart, I forgot so idk... it was good though. They are a dog friendly establishment by the way. I was not expecting to have dogs barking during dinner every time they hear sirens.......
Great set up with a mix of indoor and outdoor dining - super atmosphere of a busy local restaurant that allows you to take your dog. Food was good. Staff very friendly. We ate here twice on our recent vacation.
This is a beautiful place to visit. It can be cozy, quiet, or romantic. They have patio dining as well as indoors. They even have an outdoor fireplace that you can be seated next to. The menu is rather limited but the items that I've tried have been very good. Service is great, ambiance wonderful.
Just had drinks, but the bar had a nice menu and really eager bartenders. They were happy to discuss drink creations with me and ended up making me something we made up together. It was great. The only ding is that it's really a restaurant, so it closes around midnight. Would've loved to stay longer.
The service at The Patio is very good. All friendly! The atmosphere is perfect for business meetings or dining with family. They have indoor and outdoor dining. The bar is well stocked, the bartender was very friendly. Close to a 5 star! I didn't like the house wine at all (that of course happens but it is not often with a Merlot).
California casual attire. Beautiful decor. Dog friendly, but it's very close quarters. We would not bring our dog again because it was too much activity for her and she wouldn't stay still. I wouldn't recommend you bring a dog unless they are VERY well behaved. It's a very loud restaurant because of the set up. Food was delicious. Parking is awful.
Very nice open space but food was a bit too oily and greasy for me. The breakfast burrito is very good but extremely hearty so don't push yourself to finish it (as with most of the dishes here). They offer a discount if you bring your dog!
Made reservations a few weeks in advanced to reserve the table where the living wall is. It was perfect. It was my best friend's day bach and I had to find the perfect brunch spot near our spa in PB. I looked for aesthetic, space, and of course drinks. Pacific Beach has plenty of brunch spots but no place that was spacious that looked nice. Came across The Patio on yelp and immediately loved the living wall and the food/drinks looked great as well. The day of our shenanigans, the hostess and waitress was very accommodating. We were allowed to bring balloons but not allowed to hang them on the living wall (understandable). It all worked out in the end and still have great pictures to remember her day. There were bottomless mimosas and lots of cocktails that were pretty good. I ordered Brussels as appetizers, which were amazing. It was made with bacon, balsamic, and some type of cheese (feta, goat, or bleu) and it was delicious. The entire table enjoyed it. As for my entree, I ordered steak, egg, & fries? The steak was cooked medium with chimmichurri and I chose my egg sunny side up. Both made to my liking and delicious. Overall, my friends and I had a great time. We had great food, drinks, and a great time with pictures to prove it. The bride to be enjoyed her day portion of her bach, so thank you Patio for being a part of a successful day!
Food is delicious. Service is pretty good. A little pricey. Kids menu items are a little over the top for a child and kids pasta marinara is spicy. Ordered Rosted Vegetable flatbread and was suprised it was almost too spicy to eat (and I enjoy spicy food). Great drink selection.
This was good but a year ago would have gotten 5 stars. They have changed the menu a lot and stopped baking their own doggie treats. Our server was the best and I wish we had gotten her name.
Came for lunch and sat at their lovely dog friendly patio. The decor was beautifully done and loved how the bat was set up. Great happy hour drink deals. I had a very underwhelming chicken sandwich and savory veggie flat bread. I would come back for happy hour but would definitely try a different dish.
Great vibe and design. Food was delicious. We loved the buffalo chicken bites and roasted brussel sprouts. The only reason for 4/5 stars has to do with what appeared to be staffing issues. We were here 12/23. Our server had several tables and another server had to stay past her shift to help out. Requests were missed and never saw a manager helping out.
The plates looks really nice, classy and cool. The crepes and the omelets were really good and all my friends enjoyed the food. The only thing is that it's really expensive, between the food and some drinks we got we paid nearly $30 each of us. The bartenders were pretty cool, we talked about the game that was going on. The waitresses were nice too. Bathroom was clean and smelled good. Overall, good place out check out once, but don't recommend again since it's kinda expensive.
Cool that you can bring your dog. Used to have a locals that lunch special that ROCKED - 3 mini courses for like $15. During the summer months they sometimes have serious issues with flies. I think I got much worse once the city stopped picking up trash two times a week in the area. I had heard that they had resolve the situation but haven't personally been there to see. They also have an indoor area that has a great big table that's good to reserve if you have a big group. Their homemade honey butter is really delicious, as are there muffins. I think the best thing here is brunch. They also make a mean cocktail. It seems like a nice neighborhood place especially if you can get there without dealing with the parking.
I grew up in Pacific Beach and this place wasn’t around back then - so many new places have popped up around the beach and this is one of them. It’s located on Lamont street - not in the shopping center but just on the street. Parking can be a challenge since I only saw street parking. The restaurant decor and layout is nicely done with wood and lighting and a patio area with outside heaters. It’s dog friendly and there were many ppl there w their dogs. The hostess wasn’t very friendly and seemed to be in a bad mood. We moved our seats three times due to the location of the sun beaming us in the face and she seemed irritated that we asked to move to another table so we could see each other without covering our eyes. The waitress was very sweet and gave us great service. I had the ahi poke tacos which were excellent and one cocktail. My friend had the fish tacos and one cocktail and loved them. I ordered their special to take home which was a seafood mix of octopus, mussels, shrimp in a pasta garlic sauce. It was nothing like I thought it would be. It was in a couscous type of pasta that looked like corn and it was spicy which I didn’t care for. The bill was $71.00 which seemed a bit pricey for what we ordered.
Definitely a place to eat where the ambiance will be enjoyed. The seating areas are both outdoor/indoor and a nice amount of seating at a fully stocked bar, as well. The service is excellent, and all the times I've been, the waitstaff have always been very friendly and attentive. The decor is a marriage between rustic-reclaimed and what feels like contemporary asian accents. Indoor fireplace and heaters ensures even those prone to the chill are nicely accommodated. Parking is what you would expect from that area, and while they used to offer valet service, I didn't see any attendants in my most recent visit, so call to verify. Otherwise, plan ahead and expect to take a leisurely stroll to get there after finding public parking, or Uber/Lyft there. I would suggest making reservations for parties larger than two people. Keep in mind, this is a very pet-friendly establishment, and I have seen some always very well behaved dogs and their owners present every time I've been there, so those with allergies should be cautious. Along with that, I have never seen pet hair built up or lying about, so they do a great job of keeping the dining areas clean. The food itself, is okay, nothing spectacular. Prices range from $11 and up for entrees. My party of 2 paid $45 and some change (not including tip) for the Short Rib Skillet and The Chorizo Skillet and soda. So I don't have high expectations foodwise. They do have handcrafted cocktails, making it an ideal place to meet a few friends for happy hour.
Walked in tonight with no reservation and got a nice seat in the outdoor patio! Sat down and it was happy hour but they offered the full menu and the happy hour menu. We ordered an appetizer and then we each ordered a plate (appetizer as an entree for me and a burger for the hubby). We didn't get drinks, but my hubby got a soda. We sat there for about 20 minutes and the appetizer never showed. Then, all 3 plates showed up about 30 minutes after ordering. It was kinda sucky that it came out like that but we were on the verge of hangriness so we were just ready to dig in. The verdict??? Welp, it was just A-OK. The octopus wasn't as good as it was the first time I had it about 6 weeks ago and my AhiPoke tacos were unique, but not mind-blowing. Hubs said his burger was ok. Again, nothing special. I think the star-deciding factor was the bill. $56 for 2 apps and a burger and coke! By the time we added tip, we paid $72 for our "meal" (which is using the term lightly as I sit here munching on cold pizza and typing this review!)! And I will spare the details but let's just say hubs and I are convinced the dinner came back around for round two if you know what I mean :-/ The atmosphere? Now *THAT* is worth writing about - that's what brought me back here tonight; it's a perfect date night spot! Outdoors, living wall, fireplace, string lights.... great vibe. But maybe next time skip the over-priced food and grab a happy hour cocktail or two and enjoy the ambiance. Bottom line: The vibe is so fun and relaxing but imo, certainly not worth $72!
Just tried it for the first time. Very cute place. Loved the patio. Soup of the day, Mexican spiced, was amazing. Chicken was spiced nicely but over cooked. Would definitely try it again. Loved the overall vibe.
August 2015, Went for the Patio's summer clambake. The clams were extremely disapointing. We were delivered two small portions, about 10 clams each, of dry rubbery clams with a biscuit, a quarter of a corn cob and a small boiled potato. Even the beer was subpar. We will likely eat here again, however it is extremely unlikely, unless I suffer a severe traumatic brain injury, we will ever order the clams again. January 2015, Went with my wife for an early dinner on Wednesday evening. we sat in the patio area. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the service was reasonable and friendly. The food was very well done and prepared with care. Although the portions were small. The Spanish octopus was disappointing in that there was only one small tentacle served. Two drinks and four appetizers came out to around $80 with tip.
Great food! Just avoid having Fernando as your server (slowest server EVER). We never asked for a birthday truffle but he brought it to us & had the audacity to charge us $1.50 for it (never mentioned that it was my woman's birthday but I guess he eavesdropped on a conversation I had with a friend that walked in). What the hell?! $1.50 is nothing but we got charged for something we never asked for. I didn't wanna make a scene during my woman's birthday so I let it go (very unlike me, lol)! Took ages to get our check too! We literally waited at least 15 mins after asking for a to-go box to get the check (and this was because I had to flag him down). Bad observation on his part! People that came after us got their food ordered and on their table way before we did!
It's got nice ambiance but there's little to no street parking in this part of town. Additionally, it's kinda skewed towards young hipsters...so on weekends there's always a long wait to get a table for brunch. Plus, it's kinda pricey and the options are a little pretentious. I can put avocado on my own toast if I want to. If you're young, have time, have disposable income, and enjoy a health conscious breakfast you might like it. If you're 40 and want a filling breakfast complete with gluten and fat...I'd suggest going elsewhere.
Short and sweet, my wife and I ordered the cheeseburger and the cobb salad. We were very disappointed in the quality of the food. My burger was heavily salted and was nearly inedible. My wife's salad had old fish. It smelled and tasted terrible. The Ahi poke tostada was the only thing really worth eating.I'm not sure how this place has such high ratings. I will say, the beverages were well mixed and they had a very unique selection... the alcohol got them 3 stars.
So, I've been here three times, and the third time was when I wanted to take my boyfriend for their amazing steaks! However, they didn't have it on the menu anymore because apparently their menu constantly changes. I was quite disappointed when we got there. I ended up ordering the steak frites, which was good, but not as good as the steak. So I highly recommend checking their menu first of you're going for something specific you've had there before. I don't mind the change, I just wish that they'd keep the steak on there. Steak is never out of season.
I like the patio and bar atmosphere. The small plates are great to share and they make good drinks. It is a great place to socialize with a group or have a light meal with a friend. It is not the typical PB spot on the main strip.
A group of us went over for brunch. The outdoor seating area is really nice and dog friendly. However, the service was extremely slow and the food was pretty bland. My group ordered the cinnamon bread with carrot cake icing to share. It was pretty dry. My simple breakfast of eggs, potatoes and a tiny sausage was not satisfying and pretty boring in flavor. The cocktails are okay.
I don't really understand why this place is so popular. It has a nice Ambience, but for me it's more about the food. I've eaten here three times now, twice for dinner and once for brunch, and honestly I wasn't impressed with anything that we ordered. Not to say it was bad, it just wasn't impressive. I have worked 15 years in the restaurant industry, five of those have been in fine dining. Also my dad owned two fine dining restaurants, so I have a decent grasp of what good food tastes like. So nice place, decent happy hour, but just average food.
It's really popular, but disappointed us in several ways. Our first table had a noticeable draft from the air conditioning vent. When it's blowing my hair in my face that's a problem. I asked right away to move to another table and we were seated at a lovely little table by the fireplace, nice! The problem though, was that no one told the server we were in her section. It took her a full 15 minutes to come get our order. She apologized and gave us a discount, but continued to disappoint. Food was generally good, but the menu could use more variety. Desert menu was unappealing and focused mostly on alcoholic options. I can't remember the last time a desert menu had nothing I wanted to try.
Went for brunch on a Sunday with a group. The food was good but took a while to be ready but the staff was constantly in our area making sure we had enough coffee and were comfortable. The portions are a little small compared to other breakfast places.
Mediocre food and inattentive service. On a Monday morning when there were fewer than 10 patrons, our experience was less than stellar; less than good, really. To wit: -10 minute wait for water after being seated -no coffee refill offer until we’d already finished our meal -no butter or jam for the extremely dry biscuit -no salt or pepper on the tables, among other egregious oversights. If you’re going to run a mid-priced brunch joint, make sure the service and food quality live up to what you’re charging.
I ordered their smoked pork belly benedict and really wasn't a fan. The biscuit was a bit too dense to go with the rest of the dish and the hollandaise sauce was far too overpowering. I felt like every bite I had was just thick, dense biscuit with hollandaise. I also ordered their Pinata cocktail and the serrano kick was just too overpowering. All in all, I feel like this place has an issue with balancing out flavors well.
The food was just OK, not yummy good. Priced a bit too high. The service was very good, attentive, friendly. Dogs are allowed here in the dining area. In fact it is a dog friendly place. I guess that's ok for some, but not for me.
My family of 3 had dinner and it cost almost $100.00 and the food was just ok. Their website shows a different food and lower priced menu than when you sit down menu. We should have left. The only restaurant that I know that charges for bread rolls. Never go there again. Two star is generous.
Our go to place for happy hour. Service is super nice and the food is pretty decent (7/10) But I need to bring something up so it does not become standard practice there. I came in last Sunday with my wife around 3pm. It was pretty slow and the patio was no more than 1/4 filled. We asked for the booth with cushion seats and the hosts said it was soon to be used for a larger party. I did not see any reserve signs and we left almost 2 hours later with those same tables empty ( literally the entire section was empty more than 6 tables for sure). We did not take personally but it left a bad taste in our month. Moral of the story, if you have a table reserved put a sign on it and if they cancel or do not show up please go back to your paying customer and offer them in the order it was requested. Chances are they are not moving to another table during their meal but it will look better on the restaurant.
It was horrible'. I made a reservation for mt bday and triple checked for the table i ordered. They sat me in a closed section in a dead part of the restaurant. Then, the menu was completely different than what wad advertised online. I got the steak frites. It was good but subpar for a bday dinner and then our waitress was pushing us out the entire time and acting very awkward. Just, an awful time and im just glad my family was okay about the bad experience
Hostess & waitresses have bad attitudes, we were poorly treated. We were seated in the back bar for brunch which was dark and odorous even after waiting half an hour for a table. Unfortunately, the food did not redeem this place. The vibes were terrible, I paid and left. First and last time.
I was recommended this place by a friend so I was disappointed when I went an experienced it for myself. We ordered the Benedict with pork, we sent it back once because the eggs were cooked completely and not running. Little did we know that was the least of our problems. Everything is dry and unpleasant about the meal. The potatoes seemed like they were 30 mins old (dry and over cooked maybe) and the "hollandaise sauce" was hard to stomach. It just reminded me of mayonnaise. My wife ordered another breakfast plate which consisted of what they called sausage eggs and a biscuit. Let's just say the whole meal had a consistent horrible quality.
I took my wife to this place because the radio station said it was "the best kept secret for a romantic night out." It started out nice we arrived and it was not busy at all...the courtyard in the evening was romantic, but by the time I got my Steak I just wanted to get out of there... I ordered a medium RARE steak and got one that was actually charcoal black as if they forgot about it on the grill and decided to serve it anyway. I will never return and hope you stay away from this place...My wife's chicken pasta was over cooked as well...so we shared her plate. All-in-all this place should remain a secret, as the service is very slow, the prices are way too high and the food is more like hometown buffet.
