Hemos parado a comer allí ya que nos pillaba de camino y un gran acierto la verdad. El camarero majísimo, muy agradable, te explica los platos y hace recomendaciones muy acertadas. El menú del día eran 15€ por persona. Platos típicos muy ricos. El postre de mis de yogur con miel y polen riquísimo 🤤🤤
Una de mis mejores experiencias en un restaurante. Control al 100% del gluten, él camarero que nos atendió (dueño del restaurante) tenía un control implacable sobre los alergenos y cada uno de los ingredientes que usaban. Su mujer, la chef una crack, todo estaba delicioso. Cada plato que nos pedimos nos entusiasmó. El flan de postre es el mejor que flan que probé en mi vida y he probado muchísimos. Me quedo por probar las patatas meneas que son su especialidad pero no les quedaban de tanto que las pedían. Somos del sur pero volveremos sin duda cuando nos acerquemos a la zona. Super recomendable y trato inmejorable.
Very good. We received wonderful service. Ismael was very attentive. The food was excellent. Cleanliness and good service; we'll have to return. The location is magnificent. Ismael's colleague was, of course, very attentive and helpful as well.
We came to this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday. The service was friendly and helpful. They gave us excellent recommendations for someone in our group who has celiac disease. Everything was delicious. The price was very reasonable, and the portions were generous. A very good place!

A restaurant with a special charm. Nestled in the heart of the Sierra de Salamanca mountains, serving traditional, home-style cooking. I can't recommend anything in particular because everything is delicious. The desserts are simply divine. The cheesecake is simply divine, and the flan is absolutely delicious. A meal for three cost €52! And that included a fine wine from the Sierra with a protected designation of origin. A special thanks to Alberto and Carol for their excellent service and hospitality. We'll be back soon, as it's a truly beautiful place.
We ate there two days. My wife and our little one loved it. Both days we had chickpeas with clams; my wife ate them both days because they were so good. I had a full stew and cream of mushroom soup the second day—everything was delicious. For our main courses, we had grilled lamb, Iberian pork cheeks, and curried meatballs—all superb. The desserts were fantastic: yogurt with pollen and their honey was amazing, the cheesecake, chocolate mousse, and custard were incredible, and the fries were just like my grandmother used to make. They also had several thoughtful touches; they were very attentive and friendly. It's a family business run with a lot of love. P.S. They have a much better selection of vermouth than you'd find in the city. Highly recommended. Daily menu €15.

A roadside restaurant nestled in the beautiful Sierra de Francia mountains. The waiters provide excellent service, and the place is very welcoming, with two dining rooms, a small terrace, and a garden with a swimming pool in the summer. The food is superb; I've been several times. On my last visit, we had chanfaina (a Salamanca classic), a hearty stew, and a ribeye steak, along with dessert and wine. The food is of very high quality and uses locally sourced products (the beef is from Salamanca, the honey and pollen are from the Sierra), and they have a great selection of local wines, with varieties like Rufete taking center stage. Without a doubt, it's a place to return to whenever you're in the area, whether for tourism, hiking, or other outdoor activities.
This restaurant is well worth trying for its varied and delicious menu. The patatas meneás (a traditional potato dish) and the braised tongue are highly recommended. The rice pudding is also delicious. The prices are very reasonable. After your meal, you can enjoy a coffee or drinks on the terrace or in the garden by the Alagón River. The surroundings are surrounded by nature, teeming with birds, and in the summer they set up a large natural swimming pool. Best of all, the owners are wonderful people.
Quality products, generous portions, excellent service, a beautiful setting, and low prices. EVERYTHING IS SPECTACULAR. We found this place by chance, as we hadn't planned to eat here. It was an unexpected lunch stop mid-trip. We were coming from visiting the villages of the Sierra de Francia (La Alberca, Mogarraz, San Martín del Castañar, and Miranda del Castañar) heading toward Béjar on the SA-220 highway. When I saw the restaurant on a curve (with lots of stopped cars), I didn't think twice about stopping for lunch, given that we still had half an hour to go to Béjar and it was 3 p.m. And as luck would have it, it was the best meal of the entire trip through the province of Salamanca. A gastronomic gem lost in the middle of the mountains turns out to be a charming and cozy restaurant where you can enjoy exquisite food at very affordable prices. We were served wonderfully. The chef comes out to explain the menu to each table, recommending the best options. You can tell he knows his stuff, because he explains each dish in detail. We ordered two starters (meneas potatoes and chickpeas with clams), two main courses (Iberian beef cheek and Morucha beef entrecote), and two desserts (homemade custard and yogurt with goat's milk and honey). *The 300g Morucha beef entrecote is marvelous. The meat is delicious. The cheek melted in your mouth. And the desserts...all homemade* • For 2 people: 2 Coca-Colas + meneas potatoes + chickpeas with clams + Morucha beef entrecote + Iberian beef cheek + yogurt with goat's milk + custard = €38.60

Miren llevo 10 años comiendo varias veces en mis vacaciones..en el pipero y aunque es corta la carta.. todavia es el dia que algun plato no me satisfaga ,me encantan sus postres y nunca me han provoc…

Comida casera de calidad, aunque con un precio por encima de la media. Hemos comido muy bien en El Pipero. Es un sitio de cocina auténtica. El local es acogedor y el servicio atento. A destacar: • Las Patatas Revolconas: Riquísimas y con muy buena textura. Como detalle para futuros visitantes: las sirven con tocino frito (en lugar de los habituales torreznos crujientes • Platos principales: El potaje de garbanzos con almejas estaba espectacular y las albóndigas con salsa de curry muy sabrosas. El bistec de telares está hecho al punto. Se nota que hay buena mano en la cocina. • Postres y extras: Las natillas con galleta y tarta de queso con miel son el final perfecto. Mención especial al pan de hogaza. Sobre el precio: El menú diario nos costó 17€. La comida es de cinco estrellas, pero hay que decir que resulta un pelín caro para ser un lunes, comparado con otros menús de la zona.
Without a doubt, one of the best places to eat good home-cooked food. Both Alberto and the rest of the staff are very attentive and friendly. A friend who goes there often recommended it, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The "patatas meneas" (a type of potato dish) are spectacular, and the Pedrosillano chickpeas with clams are delicious, as is the "cabrito cuchifrito" (fried kid goat), etc... absolutely delicious! By the way, the fries are just like the ones our mothers used to make—homemade, not frozen!
We went to the natural pool and ate at the restaurant while we were there. It's best to make a reservation beforehand if you want to eat there. We went without a reservation and, of course, had to wait, but we were very well received. There were plenty of dishes to choose from, and the waiters were extremely attentive and friendly.
La calidad de la comida es bastante buena, la cantidad justa, bien cocinado y precio algo ELEVADO para todo lo anterior. Esta ubicado en un paraje que te permite hacer unos paseos impresionantes, tanto antes chino después. En verano tiene piscina natural con agua de la sierra.
