Opinions de U Crave San Fernando
If you’re in San Fernando, U Crave Café is a really nice spot. I’ve come here before with a group of artists great vibe, super clean, fast service, and the food is delicious. I had a hummus and falafel plate perfectly presented and fresh. Highly recommend! Today I’m also promoting a show, Between Saints and Souls, happening at the Third House Community Art Studio in Van Nuys. It’s a brand-new space for artists in the Valley, and I’m excited to be part of it!
Came here after several suggestions from co-workers. Definitely worth it. Great atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and food was amazing!!! We will definitely be back to try something else on the menu.
Stopped by for breakfast ordered 3 egg breakfast that includes home fries, turkey bacon and fruit. Great price, generous portions, delicious food and service. Highly recommend.
We liked it! Hubby got pasta Alfredo with meatballs. I got the falafel wrap which came with tortilla chips and green salsa (a little odd It also came with garlic sauce & tatziki. Everything was very flavorful. Service was fast and friendly especially after I read the reviews saying otherwise. We will come back for sure.
I'm impressed by the number of options this place gives you, just so many. The food was very delicious. BRC burrito and Cali burger. A bit of a wait for the food but we went on Father's Day so that was expected.
A must stop place to eat if you’re in the area. I’m glad that San Fernando has a hip cafe like this. The prices aren’t bad at all. They’re very reasonable and the portion sizes are big. I went with a larger party for a graduation brunch, around 8 people, there was plenty of seats on the outside patio and the wait time wasn’t too long. Definitely worth checking out.
Since discovering this location on Mexican Mother’s Day I’ve come here a few times now and they never fail to amaze me with the food, drinks, and service. Lilly is always going above and beyond with helping us out. She’s always so attentive and helpful and always treating everyone (not just us) like we are family… if I can give more than 5 stars I would…
All I/we can say is WOW. We live here in the Valley now for so long and never heard of this absolutely awesome place. My spouse and I were shopping and looking for somewhere to have some lunch and we spotted this place. Since my spouse is vegan. We noticed all the great vegan options for him. And of course all the rest of the so many items they have on their menu. We went to the counter. A young, very friendly guy took our order. Answered any questions we had. We sat outside and a very charming server ( waitress) brought our food. I just LOVED her mentality. Happy, welcoming. Obviously, she loves her job and customers. And I loved her wonderful positive attitude and her great make-up ( eyeliner). She is so pretty. Sorry, I had to add this. :) The food was fantastic. My spouse is not always very happy with the vegan option in regular restaurants. He just loved his vegan " beef" burrito. And my burger with fries was out of this world. Btw. one of the best fries I had in a long time. Also the tiramisu, I could have had several of them. Last night we went, again. It was a bit crowded. So we sat inside. Since it was too cold to be outside. Lots of younger people. But we really didn't feel out of place as "baby boomers". Everybody was quite cool. My spouse ordered this time a vegan chicken burrito. We had a hummus plate with vegetables as an appetizer and I had grilled chicken breast with roasted potatoes and salad. I loved all of it. But there was so much more I wanted to try. But unfortunately, there's only so much I can eat. LOL That is why we WILL come back, again. Me, especially for that pizza with eggs on it. And. again we had the pleasure of this wonderful waitress. She was running around to do her job like crazy. And still kept her cool and her wonderful friendly demeanor. She is one of a kind. This place is so lucky to have her. If you have never been there. Give it a try.
Had the deluxe tuna melt and it was the most delicious tuna melt I've ever had. Pesto and black olives really took it to the next level! Got a side of fries and they were perfectly fried. Also shared a New York Style cheesecake. I also had a delicious camomile citrus tea to end the meal. Will be coming back!
Very tastie food, very large selection of food. Everything I've ordered here has tasted great.
Make sure to get the Breakfast Burrito here because it is amazing and you get a decent size so you'll be fulfilled. I like the red sauce that they give with the burrito, they also give the green sauce but I didn't like it as much. I also ordered some strawberry crepes with extra strawberry and blueberry/strawberry/banana crepes. I asked for the Nutella on the side when I put in my online order and powder sugar is already added. It's basically street parking here so be aware of that, I parked in the public parking across the street when I came in the morning but I'm not sure if you have to pay. The place open at 7am but online pickup or delivery doesn't start until 7:30am.
Today was our second time here. The first time was a few weeks ago, last time we ordered dessert only. It was Crepes. I got the Honey and Walnut and my wife ordered strawberry, banana and nutella. It was really good! Today, we ordered the following: Beef mulitas, they were really good. The melted cheese and soft beef with pico de gallo and cotija cheese brings the flavor of eat bite very well, also the dab of green salsa. Very good dish! We also ordered a basket of french fries, the fries were good too, not oily and not overcooked. We also ordered Mac and Cheese, you really taste the mozzarella cheese which I like, its not overwhelming on the cheese, just the right amount. Then we had The Cali Burger with chips, the burger was well cooked and prepared. The flavors go well with each other. Nothing fancy about the burger, it was just well put together. I would say the bun however made a big difference, the bun was not your ordinary sesame burger bun. Lastly we had dessert, we had Flan. It was really good! A good size piece to really finish off the meal. To drink, I had Passion Fruit ice tea and Water. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and great customer service. Overall, there was nothing about this restaurant that is a negative to us. We really enjoy it!

Cute place. So many options and variety! The Jamaica and carrot cake were a little sweet, but good. Our food was yummy! The staff is attentive. They have lemon water available to grab and refill your self. A nice area and plenty of space.
Cashiers are friendly and helpful. I love that they have tons of seating inside and out. The waitresses are nice and attentive, but if they came out a bit more, that would be great. The food is delicious. I've tried their crepes, pancakes & french toast, all of them were cold when they got to me and the pancakes were way too sweet but other than that it's worth a try when in San Fernando.
First time going here. Food was good and good serving portions. Tried a bit of a few of their serving options. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they messed up on my order to go not only once but twice. Always double check your order when picking up.
Came here for breakfast. Cute spot, and giant menu - usually a bad sign but if they can do it, why not? Food was made well and decent portion sizes. Was a savory crepe plate and a Frappe worth ~ $35 with tip? Debatable, leaning towards no. Man at the register was nice. When the food was brought to the table, we were missing cutlery, Also, my friend's lid was broken on his drink - he didn't notice and the drink spilled all over himself and the table. Had to get up and ask for a new lid and to ask for salsa/sauces since we didn't get checked on. I would think about coming back if I was looking for group accommodations, since the place is huge and everyone could find something they want.

They have pretty good food and it's very surprising too since their menu is massive. You would think it would be hard for them to keep up good quality food with a menu that size. Just kind of wish they would lower the volume on their music a little bit especially in the middle of the day when it's empty. It would be nice to hear something other than that reggaeton trash they put on the radio. Something a little more appealing for the setting. It's a restaurant, it's not a night club.

So I was really excited to eat here, but a little disappointed.I came here on martin luther junior king day.It wasn't too busy, but my fries were cold and the turkey club was nothing special. For 17. 50 ?? So, to be honest, this place wasn't all as I thought it would be.But if you're looking for a decent meal, this is a spot I honestly only bought the sandwich plate and 1 drink , 1 milkshake 36.50 plus tax I don't know if it's pricey or inflation, I would like to come back and try this again to see if they can redeem themselves.
This was my first time being a patron a U Crave. I was looking forward to trying their crepes since that one of the first pics from their photos online are crepes. I ordered the PB&J one. It was one sad crepe. The dough was so hard. It was difficult to cut with a steel knife. I imagine they are made fresh because it took a while before I got my order. So that was more disappointing because I was expecting a fluffy, warm and delicate crepe. Nope. Price is way too steep for quality. I’m still willing to try something from their huge selection but I don’t recommend the crepes. BUT very nice atmosphere I must say.

I came because it had good reviews I was disappointed with my whole order. I came in wanting some real authentic Mexican chilaquiles , they use Doritos with all can food didn’t taste freshly made. I also order a crepe since I didn’t like the chilaquiles it was hard I couldn’t even cut it with the knife. Very disappointed in the food.

I called to place a phone order for a Cappuccino. Jen answered the phone and asked me to hold to take my order. She left me on hold for over 11 minutes to the point where I had time to get walk into the store, I still was on hold while already inside the store. I spoke w Jen and just told her that she could have came back to the phone line and said “hey we’re really busy right now, I can’t take your order” … and she said “well I’m short staffed” which I completely understand, but it takes 10 seconds to get on the phone and say “I can’t take your order, we are busy” … after I gave her advise about coming back to the line to at least say we’re just and can’t take your order instead of having me on hold for 11 mins, she became upset and argumentative instead of taking in the constructive criticism. I highly recommend to hire people with good customer service for positions like this. When I got back to work I tried my cappuccino and it was so bitter, so I had to go back and ask for my money back. I spoke to a gentleman who says he was the manager and said they don’t do refunds and that he would have to call the owner. The whole encounter and experience here was horrible.
