The garlic chicken was amazing! Staff was friendly and made us feel very welcome. My wife was cold because the wind was blowing whenever the front door opened, so they moved us to a better table once one became available without us having to ask. It's family style and we ordered way too much food, but we both enjoyed our meal and would definitely go back next time we're in the area.
I grab take out and enjoy the Shanghai soup dumplings, onion crepe pancakes, crispy golden noodles -Hong Kong style (veggie) and the supreme wonton noodle soup..so good!. Attentive service and the location is tops intersecting North beach and Chinatown. An easy walk to FiDi, the Embarcadeo and Union Square.
Very delicious food. We visited for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. No wait for a table the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food came out quickly and freshly made. The food is excellent. I will visit again and recommend to everyone. We enjoyed a handful of dishes. Chicken wings rice balls egg rolls shrimp dumplings beef noodles sesame seed chicken.
Perfect place for a date😍 We ordered crispy golden noodles, Simon’s garlic chicken and fried tofu - dishes are huge, one main dish and some side are more than enough for two to share. Definitely will come back for Simon’s chicken🤤🤤🤤 Cider was also good. If you like different flavors - must try
First meal in SF Chinatown and it was amazing. Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and the service was fast, and the owner (Eugene) even came out to serve us and make sure the food was served in time. This place has amazing hospitality, highly recommend checking out this place. You have to get Simon’s Garlic Chicken!
I passed by 1 million times and never really went in there And finally decided to give it a go Their milk tea was really good . Very authentic and I think it even has a bottle option so you can bring it around. Their tofu was pretty good. Very tender and crispy. On the day that we went there wasn’t in line, but it took us like about 30 minutes before our meal comes out . The environment was very chill. It’s very good for talking. And it’s pretty full during dinner hour. which in the case, they are pretty good.
Came from out of town, checked local restaurants, this one came up close to our hotel. Amazing food, super fast and friendly service. All very well priced. I will surely hit this place up when I come back to SF if I stay in this area. Our server Iman was beyond excellent. Thanks guys, you added one more great memory on thos trip!
We've been eating at this restaurant since its soft opening. The food is delicious, and ingredients are fresh. Alvin and Eugene treat us well each time we come to dine-in or order take-out. On our most recent visit, we ordered the pot stickers, garlic noodles, beef chow fun, and salt & pepper fish. Very tasty! We consider 606 Restaurant to be one of our go-to destinations.
Highly recommend in San Francisco. Food quality, warm service, nice dining environment. Walnut Prawns is the top in poll from me, and wonton soup must order as well.
Authentic Chinese flavors at 606! Loved the apple wine, Hong Kong tea, crispy salt and pepper chicken wings, and tasty chow mein noodles. Staff were super nice and polite. A great spot in SFO for a flavorful, satisfying meal. Will definitely return!
We had dinner here and the food & service was great! The staff was friendly and fast. Lots of great variety on the menu. We had Simon’s garlic chicken, crispy egg rolls and honey walnut prawns — all were delicious! The atmosphere is cute and clean! Would definitely be back.
Wonderful spot for lunch and dim sum! The food was delicious and plentiful.
the food was amazing, the sesame chicken, mongolian beef, chow mein and fried rice was amazing. the ambience is extremely rich and most importantly owner was super nice and fun. 10/10 would recommend.
Loved my experience at 606. I am in Chinatown every weekend and am so happy that my friend brought me to 606. We ordered the Simon’s garlic chicken, salt & pepper pork chops, baby bok choy and the milk tea. Every dish was delicious, just the right amount of flavor. The restaurant was spacious and cozy, plenty of room with no customers or staff bumping into you. What made the experience even more personal was being greeted by the owner Eugene. He wanted to make sure everything was just right, even serving us water. At the end he asked how everything was. Now that is TLC, not something I experience a lot in Chinatown. 😊 Can’t wait to bring my friends and family to 606.
I came to San Francisco from Boston. This was our first time visiting San Francisco and several people recommended 606 and they were right. There were a lot of locals inside eating there so we knew that was a great sign. The food was delicious and the people were great. I can't wait to come back. This is such a beautiful city.
Stopped by for dinner. We arrived super early for our 7:45 pm reservation because we ran out of things to look at, but we were also super tired from walking around the city. They had a nice little waiting area available to sit at while we waited for a table to free up. We had a late lunch, but still managed to polish off a few dishes. Everything was good, but the favorite had to be the salt and pepper tofu with string beans. The tofu was nicely flavored and we really liked the crunchy exterior and soft tofu center. We also ordered the beef chow fun, the baby bok choy and the pork and noodle soup (with egg noodles).

All the food was so great. Had high expectations going in since all the reviews were near perfect. I think I actually had the best Chinese food in the whole US. The salt and pepper fish was a bit too salty but I inhaled everything else. Definitely try their house special fried rice.
The food I had here was absolutely amazingly delicious. The egg rolls were out of this world good and the garlic chicken was outstanding. I highly recommend people eat at this restaurant at least once if they are here in San Francisco and are looking for some delicious Chinese food. I wish I can give them 30 stars ⭐️
Restaurant 606 in San Francisco absolutely lived up to the hype. We ordered some of their most popular dishes—the Salt and Pepper, garlic chicken, and the house Hong Kong–style dry noodles—and every bite was delicious. The food was cooked to perfection, clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and packed with flavor. What made the experience even better was meeting one of the brothers/owners, who was an excellent host and took the time to chat with us and even recommend other great local spots. Warm hospitality, outstanding food, and an overall memorable experience—two thumbs way up!

606 San Francisco has quickly become one of our favorite spots. We actually found this place before moving here, and now that we live in the area, we’ve been back several times and it never disappoints. The service is consistently great. Everyone is always so friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable every time we visit. It’s the kind of place where you feel genuinely taken care of. The food has been solid on every visit well prepared, flavorful, and satisfying. Everything we’ve tried has been good, making it an easy choice when deciding where to eat. Overall, 606 San Francisco is a place we highly recommend checking out. Great service, good food, and a welcoming atmosphere keep us coming back. A true neighborhood gem worth supporting.
Really delicious Chinese food. No wait for a late lunch on a beautiful sunny November day in the City. Their chili garlic?sauce is excellent and made in house. We had the house special Simon's chicken, String beans, Mongolian Beef and Chicken Fried Rice. I had the iced HK coffee milk tea- very nice and not sweet (as I like it) and has 2 shots of espresso as the coffee in it.

Food was just ok. Bbq pork ribs was a bit basic. Honey walnut prawns could be crisper (good flavor though). Beef stew noodle soup was more soup based instead of a stew that I was expecting, it's pretty light. Fried tofu with shrimp was also just ok, a bit plain and the sauce was nothing special. The mandarin beef a bit too sweet. Serving sizes were pretty reasonable for the price. The service is great, they did well to get our order pretty fast and also talk about in detail what some dishes are. They also gave recommendations. The restaurant is pretty modern and clean
The honey walnut was overly sweet — it wasn’t like honey, but more like the sugary syrup you find on donuts, which was just awful. It didn’t even taste like it belonged to that kind of dish. The milk tea was good, but the ice dessert was far too watery. The hot and sour soup had no umami at all and was quite disappointing. The char siu bun had an overly thick skin, and the filling was again way too sweet and not tasty. The only thing I enjoyed was the chow noodles, though they were just okay, not amazing. Overall, I was dissatisfied. It was not worth paying over $100 for this food.
