Opinions de Angie's San Francisco
Incredible and fairly affordable pizza in SF. I loved the cozy ambiance and how tucked in it felt. Our server was great, too. Everything was fab, but the fingerling potato pizza was the star of the show. Do not miss it. Dessert was also delicious. The only downside is that they do not offer liquor, so you are limited to beer, a couple of vermouth options, or wine. Not a big deal, but good to keep in mind.
Came on a Thursday night after seeing the Dates Pizza on TikTok—such a wild combo that I had to try it. It was incredible: like a fresh, vibrant salad wrapped in world-class pizza bread. We also had the meatballs and the pepperoni with sweet chili, and both were just as good. Fantastic service and a cozy, intimate vibe.
Started the evening looking for a place for our our tradition of “Sunday night pizza”. After many options we chose Angie’s. Oh my! This is the best pizza we’ve had in ages. Truly a gourmet pizza… without the attitude. Just really good pizza with great ingredients. Not pretentious, simply good flavor with an artisan flair.
We loved our experience at Angie’s! A funky, fun vibe! Unique pizzas that are wonderfully put together - ingredients are balanced so well! Also, some fun wine options! Angie’s gets flavor.
I tried the Date Pizza at Angie’s Pizza and honestly, it’s my favorite pizza ever! I’ve never had anything so delicious and unique—the flavors are incredible. You guys NEED to try it! Based on how amazing this one was, I can only imagine how good the rest of their pizzas must be. Huge thanks to the chef for putting so much love and creativity into it. Definitely a must-try spot!
Amazing little gem hidden between mission district and Castro district. It’s such a little charming place on 16th street. Perfect for dates, families, small groups of friends. The food was all great. Their wine selection is amazing. And the service was very attentive. Hope to be back soon
Best food I’m gonna come back every single week probably. We got the salad endive w apples and walnuts, meatballs, honey za, and apple donut ice cream dessert. Forgot to take pics of some bc it was too good. Dark lighting good date nite vibes
Good pizza, fun casual atmosphere, and simple menu. There are a few places in the city that have a similar style and menu, and this one does it as well if not better than most. For two a pizza and a small plate is fun, cucumber yogurt salad was delish. Dough had a good consistency. Ingredients overall fresh and above average.
Great experience here! The food was delicious. Great chewy crust topped with flavourful pepperoni and just the right amount of sweetness from the honey. And don’t sleep on the simple mixed green salad! The vinaigrette is BOMB and it’s a perfect way to cut through some of the richness of a pizza.
Excellent pizzas. Margherita was my favorite. We sat in the back corner bench, which doesn't get a lot of ventilation and it's right next to the pizza oven, so it was about 90 degrees the entire time (avoid this seat if you can).
Angie’s is like stepping into a glam-vintage 1960’s parlor. It’s both sexy and playful at the same time, incredibly intimate yet also full of energy. It’s equally a great spot for a cozy date or a stand-out dinner for visitors. This place is all about the pizza, with the dazzling black pizza oven as the establishment’s centerpiece. We had the hot sausage pizza, which was surprisingly puckish — the smoked cheddar gave the classic Italian pizza a solidly American twist. We also enjoyed the mixed green salad, with a light vinegar dressing to cut through the heavy, flavorful pizza. We also gave in and got the meatballs as well — don’t skip them, if you’ve still got room in your tummy for them! The surprise stand out of the night was the Ghia Spritz — a $6 canned mocktail, it had a delightfully complex flavor and hit all the same notes as a cocktail worth twice its price. If you’re skipping the booze for the evening, the Ghia is a must!!! We liked it so much that we went and bought a pack from the grocery store — however, there was just something about having it at Angie’s that made it even more tasty. The retro vibes alone are reason enough to check it out, but the food and service makes it a slam dunk. If you haven’t tried Angie’s yet, you really need to!!!
Best pizza in the world. Their pepperoni pizza is so tasty and has so many different components of flavor to leave you amazed. Their cheesecake ice cream with raspberries was so delicious too. Not to mention the best ambiance with cool posters, vinyl records, and a warm lighting arrangement. Overall, an awesome dining experience. I highly suggest getting a reservation as seating is limited, but if you come in soon after they open they’ll definitely have some space to sit you down promptly.
Best pizza in SF! Although it was tempting to just grab a pizza slice from across the street, I’m glad we didn’t! We waited 20 mins outside til they open at 5pm and it’s worth it! Ordered 2 Margherita pizzas with mushrooms because it’s so good that one isn’t enough. We were the only customers at that time and the pizza was fast and it was only in the oven for about 5 mins. It has perfect amount of cheese, sauce, and toppings. Amazing flavor. The mushroom itself were tasty. Sundae was nice too. I’m so glad we discovered this place. It’s also nice and cozy inside.
Very impressed by the food here at Angie’s! We dropped in on a Monday (yes, brilliantly open on a Monday), and we’re seated in a back booth. The place is beautifully decorated and transports you back in time and to a very specific vibe. Only unfortunate thing about the space is that it can get very loud - we were seated near two parties and their laughs often echoed toward us. We ordered: - Marinated cucumbers: so simple and delicious. The sweet and spicy peanuts were a smart and delightful touch! - Meatballs: the order only comes with 2, which is a shame because they’re so tasty. Juicy, tender, meaty and nestled in a pool of flavorful tomato sauce… we saved the sauce to dip our crust into! - Eggplant pizza: probably won’t get this one again as it didn’t taste as special as others on the menu looked; however, we were really impressed by the cook on the crust. It’s incredibly thin yet still holds up to toppings without being dry! - Peach mascarpone ice cream: absolutely divine, perfect end to a lovely meal We will definitely be back and look out for Angie’s for takeout too!

This is the go-to pizza place for my friends and me! There are plenty of vegetarian options and all delicious! Their potato pizza is one of my favorites. I’m usually a don’t-eat-the-crust kind of person but at this place I clean sweep the crust is also! Their 90s decor is really nice and the wood-fired oven visible is great looking oven!

Of all the pizzas we've eaten in SF, Angie's has got to be the best. The flavors are so perfectly balanced, from the crust to the cheese and toppings and the sauce is PERFECTION. It's actually very exciting and we can't stop talking about it. We will be back soon! The staff is lovely too🙂
One of my favorite pizza spots in the city! The menu goes beyond the pizza, but we've gotten it both times we've gone. This is a great date spot. If you can, make a reservation, but walk-ins are accommodated too. The service and vibe are also both fantastic.
Delicious pizza and salad in an intimate, cozy setting! Must try the date pizza! And the Guanciale pizza and Chicarones salad were highlights as well. Reasonably priced but I definitely would recommend one pie per person since the slices are pretty thin
Outstanding. The chili honey glazed pepperoni pizza is brilliant. Good thin crust, slightly doughy on the edges is very good. Attentive service. Very affordable for SF. Good find

Amazing pizza - the sourdough crust really shines. Pizza is the perfect size for one person, sides and desserts are also great. Our waiter was super nice and we enjoyed our time at Angie’s.

The hubby and I were killing time and found this place for dinner. We got seated and immediately. We ordered our pepperoni pizza. Since we sat at the bar, we saw them making our pizza and placing it in the wood burning stove. It took about 2 minutes to be baked and quickly served. Loved it! Everything was great. It can get a bit dark in there but it’s all part of the ambiance. We’re definitely going back!
We decided to try the meatballs and the pepperoni pizza, and both were absolutely delicious! The meatballs were incredibly tender, practically melting in your mouth with every bite. The pizza had the perfect balance of flavors—lightly spiced, with a crispy crust and just the right amount of pepperoni. The ambience was warm and inviting, though a bit darker than I personally prefer. However, that didn’t take away from the cozy atmosphere or the excellent service.
Pizzas are good, the crust has a nice undercarriage but it wasn't crispy - which it isn't supposed to be since it's high temp, lower bake time. The burnt base is tasty but I like a little crunch, like the NY style. We could get a custom vegetarian pizza with the toppings that were present on the menu across pizza options. The custom was on Margarita with onions, olives and mushroom - chefs kiss! The waiter (guy) serving us was a bit rude and uptight, maybe because we weren't the cookie cutter crowd, since we wanted customization due to dietary restrictions. The experience could've been much better with a more grounded person but that's what it is.
