Meski is a must-visit! I went for both dinner and brunch, and everything was amazing. The Beef Tibs Hash for brunch was full of flavor, and the pancakes were perfectly fluffy. For dinner, the Beef Tibs and Lamb Jabella were top-notch, and the sambusas were a perfect appetizer. The Buna Martinis were a standout — smoky and rich, while the Meski Spritz was light and refreshing. Great food, great drinks, and a fantastic vibe. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience! Super flavorful food and great ambiance to match. The waiter was also very helpful and attentive! We were hesitant to get the tomahawk steak at first, but it became one of our favorite dishes (though definitely recommend at least four people to tackle it!)

Beautiful interior, very friendly service. Nice lounge downstairs to wait for our reservation. Did have some basketball playing in the lounge. I was very interested in the blend of Ethiopian and Dominican flavors and it was great. Portion size was good. The tomahawk was done medium but still very juicy.

Soon as I walked into Meski I was greeted by a cheerful hostess who seated our group quickly. The ambiance, art and music was a complete vibe that lived up to the hype. The owner came up to our table and greeted us when our drinks came. He was extremely friendly and welcoming. I ended up ordering the NY Strip Bistec and Pollo Guisado Sambusas which were absolutely amazing. The fusion between Ethiopian and Dominican cuisine created a flavor explosion which more than satisfied my palette. Being half Ethiopian myself and growing up eating traditional foods, I have to say this twist on culinary and culture will definitely have me coming back for more.

Great restaurant to experience some fun and some delicious food. My cousins and I came in around 9 and had a great time. We ordered the branzino, sambusas and arroz con pollo. The food was delicious and the drink selection had variety too. Their signature cocktail the Habesha heat was delicious. Our server Mezan took great care of us and made sure we had a great time. Next time I’m in the city I’ll try to have her serve us again. Overall, phenomenal experience and I’ll make sure to come back

The food here is AMAZING! The sambusas were literally life changing, probably one of the best foods I’ve ever had in my life. The ambiance was nice and they played good music. The prices also were fair. The only thing I didn’t like is the strict reservation and cancellation policy. $75/pp for anything under 3 days notice? I think that’s a bit too strict and discourages people from making reservations here.

Friendly staff, fast service. Easy to place your order online. The kimchi fried rice with bulgogi is incredible! The portions are pretty large, so you can easily break it up into two meals. I also ordered the fried mandu which was nice and crispy with good flavor.

Wow, I finally found it fried chicken done the right way in a Sando sandwich unbelievable hidden spot. It might be close to the tenderloin but seems clean around here and there’s a cool coffee shop across the street anyways try the second chicken sandwich. Look at the pictures, it’s amazing just as I suspected thank you so much for being here.

I ordered delivery from this place and tried a few items. The Korean fried chicken taco with green sauce was delicious — the chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The gangjung chicken was also crispy, but the sauce was a bit too sweet and sticky for my taste. The fried chicken burrito was good, especially with the tater tots both inside and on the side. The only downside was how it was wrapped in aluminum foil; it got stuck to the foil, which I don’t think is very hygienic. They should have used parchment paper before wrapping it in foil.

Ordered delivery, the chicken was perfect and the sauce was perfect complement to it. Also got a burrito, interesting that tater tot’s were inside and a handful in the container too.

Wouldn't risk my life to come pick up in-person for this chicken but I would order on Doordash. I ordered at a quiet time of the day so this time the chicken was actually crispy and quite enjoyable. It was well breaded and well seasoned. I like that they only use boneless dark meat. The bulgogi kimbap though... it should be re-named to beef jerky kimbap or 4-day old bulgogi kimbap because that's what that really was. I should've taken a photo to show how dark and dry it really was.

9/18/2022. My wife and I walked from Holiday Inn Express Hotel to this place for dinner. Take out only. What we didn't know this is an online order and pick up only, but the wait to get the food wasn't long. Great korean chicken and tacos. My wife got the tacos sampler and I got the fried chicken sweet&spicy. Food was great, had a sweet then the spicy hits you at the end and sticks on you as the sauce is finger licking sticky. The fried chicken is nice and tender on the inside and the sauce is great. The taco is also great. They used the same fried chicken. The bulgogi taco that also tasted great. Location is kind of a sketchy area especially at night since we walked there and back. Overall great fried chicken and korean/mexican tacos.

If you like chicken….this is the best place ever. I can’t even count on both my fingers and toes how many times I come here in a year. This place knows how to do what they do best. I crave Aria daily, and have to force myself not to order from here. I’m a big fan of their combo plates. And the best thing is, the left overs are just delicious. This place knows how to do KFC and I’m a bit Aria fan. 10/10 would recommend to check this place out!!

Hands down the best Korean Fried Chicken I've had in a long time. The taste is phenomenal and the price can't be beat. My friends and I got the classic 10-piece and the gochujjang mixed 10-piece. The friend chickens were crispy on the outside and have a satisfying bite to it. The inside is really tender and moist. Hopefully they'll consider getting a New York location at some point.

So good! So much better than I thought it would be! When it gets busy the staff do not seem to handle it well, they were unbelievably slow at first and I wasn’t stoked, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. Really nice people and really good food, although if we’re being honest I might steer clear of the rice bowls as they are a bit of a rip. Get the tacos, and I’ve still got to try out the Bulgogi fries but I imagine they’re spectacular.

Decided to try this place out cause food looked good. Stopped by Sat afternoon and did a Togo order of combo C. It was a lot of food. Good was cooked fairly fast. Chicken was great, kimbop was yummy. Fries with white sauce also very good. Rice cake with cheese on top, yes!!! The ramen was the spiciest item. Fried dumplings were ok. For the amount of food price is pretty good.

We were visiting from out of town, and had this as our last meal before getting on our flight. It was sooo good, and we were sooo mad that we couldn't have it one more time before we left! I had a combo meal with bulgogi kimbap and two types of Korean friend chicken. I was not able to finish my food, but could have on a really hungry day. My husband had the Korean ramen, and he practically licked the bowl. Only downside is I wish there was a location near home :-(

Actually 4.5 the food was very good, it is seasoned well with plenty of flavor, UpBeat energy Drinks were tasty but didn’t have much of a punch basically drinking a $20 glass of Kool-Aid .. the bartender has got actually put Liquor in the cocktails.. An overall positive experience tho

a welcome addition to the neighborhood serving african and latin dishes in a more upscale setting! you could go elsewhere for the same great flavor while being cheaper, but meski provides the ambiance. get some cocktails but skip dessert. ethiopian milk punch: the garnish could do some work but the milk punch was so flavorful, highly recommend yuca fries: skippable, didn’t like how it didn’t have the classic ridge texture sambusas: highly recommend! so flavorful and perfectly fried yetsom platter: flavorful and loved trying all the dishes east african donuts: hard pass, soggy and empty

3.5 if i could. totally wish they can expand and get a bigger shop for more dining because take out and the cramp space just ain't it. i like aria! i think in the past it would be really expensive just because i was a youth in school who made no money. but the quality matched the price,, ONLY IF YOU EAT IN/DINE IN. i love the chicken and the combo for everything. i wish they offered their secret menu things again. the take out just taste sad. how can u taste the feeling? well the takeout makes the chicken soggy/lukewarm and dulls the color of the food itself. wait time is on the longer side with customer service being good ! i think they would get so much more customers or offer dining in if they had a bigger space. the dining in experience with the tray is just irreplaceable and enjoying esp when you're with a friend but now they're just exclusively takeout due to the space (i assume) so it's hard for me to rate this place any higher. aria will always have a nostalgic place in my heart :')

Went to Aria for late night food as it was one of the popular places that kept popping up. I asked about the sushi because I saw they had some but they were selling it in a way that would have been too much for just me but the waiter was nice enough to give me one. When she told us I thought she mean just 1 to tried but she had actually given us a whole box!! The tacos were a little much like too sweet/ interesting flavors and too much meat. Also the sushi seemed to be meat sushi and not your regular fish or shellfish. But shoutout to the girl who hooked it up!!

Really amazing portion of chicken and the dipping sauces are PHENOMENAL. You HAVE to get the garlic soy sauce, it's actually essential:) The ordering process is pretty simple: order for pickup on a delivery app or go directly to the shop and scan the QR code to order. Takes about 10-15 minutes for a 10 piece order of KFC (Korean Fried Chicken). My chicken wasn't hot, so it took away a bit of the crunchy appeal of fried chicken. I'm hoping to try it again on another day to get it fresh!

Dear Mr.Green, Congratulations on your latest restaurant venture. As a bay area native and a warriors fan, this experience was underwhelming. 1) the acoustics and sound design in this establishment clashes and creates a clashing auditory experience. the bar downstairs was playing different music from the restaurant upstairs, and it was nearly impossible to hear my date sitting across from me. i recommend playing the same music upstairs and downstairs for seamless cohesion. 2) the sambusa was absolutely incredible, however the dish following (steak tartare) was very salty. the injera was fried and the meat was very salty coming from someone who loves salty things. 3) i was very excited for the oxtail pasta, however i was slightly disappointed to see it presented without the oxtail itself. although minor, i think it truly adds to the culinary experience. furthermore, the pasta was too al dente, resulting in a krafts mac and cheese feel. 4) after dinner we gave the bar a shot and really enjoyed the music and energy. we sat in the corner with the plant hanging from above. as we were just finally enjoying meski, staff cleaning the tables above swept water that landed on us several times. all in all, i fear that this was severely mid. however, i am open to trying again in a few months after revisions have been made. wishing you all the best Mr. Green! I ordered some takeout from this place, and it just took like 5-6 minutes. The service was pretty quick. But I found out that the food didn’t taste as good as before. I ordered the bulgogi kimbap and bulgogi fries. The bulgogi kimbap that I bought from H-Mart was better than this place. The seaweed wrap didn’t cut well and the kimbap was cold. It was not freshly made. As well as the bulgogi fries, it was pre-made. When I was still in high school, I went to this place with my friends and the restaurant was owned by a Korean couple. The food was really good back then. I don’t think I’d ever go back to this place and would not recommend this place.
