Everything ordered by our group of 8 was delicious. Owner himself took the entree order after the appetizers. He is such a nice gentleman who answered questions and it dishes with patience and came by to check on everyone multiple times. We ordered Calamari, Garlic Bread, Bruschetta for appetizers. They were mouth watering. I don't usually like olives but they were so yummy. For Entres, we ordered Salmon, steak, Lasagna, Angus Burger, Chicken Alfredo, Cheese Ravioli. Best we ever had. Desserts were Tiramisu, Pistachio Gelato, Creme Brulees. The Creme brule was the best I ever had since I had my mom's growing up. Tiramisu was also to die for along with Gelato. Owner Kosta really prides himself on his dishes and it made the dining experience even better. He talked to kids like his own kids. Highly recommend and we hope to be back again sometime.
It is a gem in the sf neighborhood. Very cozy safe location in the city. The owner was working on the floor. He was attentive and very hospitable. Saturday night and it was quick to get our table. The owner gave great recommendations for main entree and dessert. Loved all the dishes that we ordered.. Tiramisu and crème brûlée were really good. Must try. The place has amazing food with cozy family style ambiance.
We came for brunch on a Sunday afternoon (after running the SF half marathon). Immediately got a table. Started with a perfect cappuccino followed by a delicious mushroom/spinach/brie omelet (so good)! Amazing menu with so many options. Even though we were full from brunch, I couldn't help but get the tiramisu. So glad I splurged; the tiramisu was amazing. My daughter got the flourleless chocolate cake and my parents got the passionfruit gelato. Everything was great!
My husband and I enjoyed a lovely time at Bambino’s yesterday. The excellent food, the top notch service, and the charming atmosphere, made for a most enjoyable time. An added bonus? The most delicious tiramisu, highly recommended by the owner! He guaranteed it would be special and it certainly was — a treat we will most definitely return for! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or meal and we extend our thanks to Constantine for the warm welcome and the wonderful conversation shared. Looking forward to our next visit!
WOW! When Aldo Pellingroni told me about Bambino's Ristorante, this little Italian restaurant in the Haight, and especially how great the soup is ..I made a point to go there the next time I froze to death out at ocean beach fishing. Well, here it is.. the next time and if there's a better way to warm up than having a big bowl of soup please let the world know! Bambino's Ristorante ..Well worth driving across town for! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆
Incredible dinner. Good selection of wines, and the two pasta dishes my wife and I got were fantastic. Very friendly staff, and we ended the night with one of the best Tiramisu I've ever had.
The owner Constantine is a special man. He blessed us with his personality, delicious food, and knowledge all night long. Would give 10 stars if I could. Support local business like this one!
The pizza crust is on point, with generous amount of cheese and proteins. I love the creamy mixed marinara sauce for the ravioli. Price is suitable in the region. Waitress a bit impolite, but the boss was very friendly and helpful, that’s why I gave a 3 for the service.
Amazing Cole Valley spot with great food, service and atmosphere. The best french toast with a crunchy twist and warm syrup. Will be back!
One one the best restaurants I ever dine in, the quality of the food was amazing. Ingredients were so fresh, the spices was just right. The food was not greasy or salty. They are super kids friendly, by the time we walked in I ordered spaghetti with meatballs for my son and it took them less than 10 min to serve the food, they are very mindful as they didn't bring bread until my son's food was over (so he can finish his food, we didn't ask for this they just care the details). The table and dishes was so clean, no fishy smell on glasses or no stains on utensils. I strongly recommend this place.
Bambino’s is the perfect mix of cozy, formal, and familiar, with delicious meals and perfect desserts! Their dining area is perfect for important celebrations or simple family dinners in Cole Valley, with beautiful decorations and lighting and a very friendly staff. Their pastas and salads are my favorite in SF, and their tiramisu is my favorite ever!
Wow! What can I say? Thank you everyone for making our meal so lovely. We were on vacation and checked Google for a top-rated restaurant. We didn’t have a reservation, but they found us a table. The service was excellent, and the food was unreal – amazing! We were speaking to the owner, who told us about his amazing homemade dessert. The tiramisu didn’t disappoint – it was amazing!
Costa was fantastic to recommend great dishes, wine, and desserts for my family. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I will be sending friends here as a destination dining experience. We were in the neighborhood for a favorite nostalgic diner near by and ended up skipping our standard stop to go here. So glad we found this gem.
Great neighborhood Italian restaurant serving the classic dishes that we all love. Everything is well prepared and delicious. The fried calamari, angel hair pasta and chicken Marsala were standouts. My only feedback for the restaurant is that the servers could be more attentive. Even though the restaurant was not crowded, we had to ask for water refills a few times.

I had lunch here with a friend and it was wonderful. I ordered a three egg omelet with spinach, mushroom, and avocado. It came with country potatoes, 3 slices of batard style toast, and a few sliced strawberries. It was a generous sized plate of food for the price. It was well made and presented. The waitress was attentive. It is a shame more people don't dine here. It is truly under rated,

A cozy little nook that serves excellent, unpretentious Italian food at a reasonable price. The owner hustled among his staff and came out to greet us (me and my husband, both newcomers), and other patrons as well. Just a really friendly, hard working guy who takes pride in his craft. Try the tiramisu, which he makes himself, the fettuccini alfredo and the carbonara. To the owner- thank you for a beautiful evening, from both of us, and happy holidays. Tonight was a wonderful memory. We’ll be back ❤️
Moved to the area a few months ago and finally got to try Bambino’s. Super warm and cozy place that always looks inviting when I walk by. We had a couple of linguine dishes and the chicken marsala for dinner, all were excellent! The raspberry chocolate gelato and tiramisu were unbelievably delicious. Will definitely be back!
If you’re looking for a fabulous meal with excellent service, do consider Bambino’s Ristorante. Our six-member female birthday lunch club dined there early in January 2026, and every one of us was over-the-top pleased with our meal. There were so many tempting choices—it was hard to decide! My creamy, spicy pesto pasta with mushrooms and red onions was the best I’ve ever had. If I had the recipe, it would definitely be in my regular rotation. The desserts are homemade and absolutely outstanding. Some of us enjoyed the tiramisu, others had the zabaione—both were exceptional. We also loved our server, who turned out to be the owner. He could not have been more attentive or welcoming. We will definitely be back—and we’ll be bringing friends so they can enjoy the same wonderful experience.
Excellent food and service. Pizza is crisp and delicious (try the one with pears and balsamic glaze!!!). Salads are delicious, too. I look forward to returning. Hard to imagine better Italian food at moderate prices in SF. I hear brunch is fantastic and hope to try that soon as well.

What a wonderful dining experience! The restaurant itself is cozy and intimate, with a candle burning at every table and tasteful decorations. The food really hit it out of the park - you could taste the fresh, high quality ingredients. And the portions were impressive, so come with an appetite. But best of all was the really warm and friendly staff! We will definitely be coming back
Cute Italian restaurant with a 44 year history in SF. Serves a wide variety of traditional and contemporary Italian food. Cozy atmosphere with lots of seating, both indoors & outdoors. Has a nice family feel, with decor and art that makes you feel like you're in Italy. They have a long list of unique salads, something that is often lacking in Italian restaurants. We tried the orange and brie one and it was very tasty. I ordered the Foiade di Funghi mushroom pasta, which was very good. Service was great and we didn't feel rushed to order or hurriedly eat our appetizers, since they held our main dishes until we were ready for them. It was a bit slow to get the bill though, even though there weren't many guests. I'd love to come back here to try many of the other dishes that looked delicious!

We did wait a few mins till we were seated cause it seemed like they didn’t notice us and then after we got sat nobody came to our table for around 10 mins. I got the fettuccine spicy pesto. Not really spicy more so peppery. The caramelized red onion did help it taste less peppery. I also got the garlic bread and it was mediocre. All my friends thought it wasn’t the best either. The atmosphere though was nice.
