My most favorite boba place ever. They offer sugar/sweetness level according to your taste. I chose the lowest, 30% and it was soo unforgetable. Love it. For sugar fans , choose 50% or 80%, but not available 100%. You can also choose boba or puding. Thank you
Super 👍 good I love passion fruit!!
Great boba - love the jasmine milk tea, v reliable. Remember to bring cash though bc if you pay with card there's a $0.50 fee.
Best boba place in SF! So many mouthwatering flavors - I finally settled on a matcha + red beans flavored one and it was DELICIOUS.
Nice to find a healthy boba tea option. Being from the midwest this is the best boba i have ever had. Many options from hot to cold teas as well as java.
Came here upon recommendation from family. I ordered the Hokkaido milk tea with 50% sweetness and regular ice. My boyfriend got the taro milk tea with boba. I thought the toasty taste of the Hokkaido tea was delicious. The taro milk tea was excellent as well. Price was great compared to other boba shops in SF. Can’t wait to try some of the other drinks! There is no seating inside. Definitely takeout only.
I had a mango with small tapioca balls. 🍡🥤 It was super fresh and tasty. I'd never had milk tea before but I will be having it again. There are a few other boba places on this block but we chose this one as it was the cleanest and brightest with an extensive selection. I think we made a great choice and my tea was tasty.
The drink here is so good, I love the taste of the boba. 100% recommended this place, sadly it doesn’t have any place to dine in only takeout though !
I like the boba tea I ordered two cups this morning and order it again
Wish I’d taken a photo — I’m not sure if something changed since one of the last reviews (someone mentioned no fruit and just syrupy drinks?) but I got the mango fruit tea w/ boba & mango jelly and it was excellent. Lots of real chopped mango, good tea and the mango jelly was 🤌. Like other reviewers I thought the boba itself was just ok. Still, I will definitely be back.
One of the best boba tea places to go in Sf! Small, with not really any seating, so be ready to go elsewhere to enjoy your drink. 15 dollar minimum with card, otherwise theres a 50 cent fee. Other than that, the tea and the toppings are high quality and they are good at customizing the levels of sweetness and ice you want.
Okinawa bubble tea was very good. I also saw some San Franciscans lining up outside of the shop at around 8:30 during the evening so I can tell the small shop was popular. Inside it was really cramped but I didn’t care boba tea is delicious in any setting.
Small place but they have a lot of different drinks. My favorite so far is their dark roast oolong kreama. I find it comparable to Happy Lemon's Black Tea with Salted cheese of it's strong tea flavor and the kreama/sales cheese flavor. I have tried other places and sometimes they tasted bland or one overpowers the other. But this place makes it just right. Go for 30% sweet for a mild balance or 50% sweet to bring out the flavors more and to satisfy a sweetheart tooth!
This is our Favorite Best Boba in Town Spot!!! Last night we wanted caffeine + sugar free Boba...Our Lovely ITea Boba Baby Gurl made us the Most Delicious Amazing Honey Sweetened No Caffeine Delicious Boba Treats <3 We <3 ITea, This is Our Sweet Spot!
Really like this place. It's a pretty traditional Taiwanese boba place with a variety of green and black tea flavors and fruit drinks as well. This is more of a tea place and tpumps is more of a fruit drink place. I really like how thick their crema is. This is basically my second favorite boba place after tancca on Geary.
Absolutely amazing boba tea I have one of the straw berry ones and it completely changed my look on boba tea. 10/10 would try again!
After finishing a delightful dinner at a nearby restaurant, we decided to satisfy our sweet tooth with some fun drinks for dessert and it was an excellent decision! The variety of flavors and toppings was impressive, catering to both traditional and adventurous palates. I opted for 100% sweetness, to my watermelon, sago, and it was refreshing. There was no seating, it was definitely a grab and go Location .
Straight-forward no frills bubble tea shop with a lot of variety and good taste. They don’t even have any seating, just a small space to order when you walk in. They seem well staffed, so the orders come out pretty fast. They have good prices, lower than some of the other bbt shops around but they do have a credit card transaction fee though!
My go-to milk tea place in Sunset even though I have another milk tea shop right downstairs where I live 😆. They have a large variety of milk teas to choose from. And I appreciate that they update menus periodically to add new seasonal flavours.
i like their flavor options, haven’t tried it yet! But I got the Kyoto Grape lemon Breeze

One of the better boba places in this area, I just wish they were more efficient. There is often a line, which can be deceiving since there isn't much room inside but they sometimes miss orders so pay attention to the numbers they're calling, especially if yours in skipped.
Hokkaido milk tea with boba tapioca and pudding is great, if you are the kind of person who drinks coke classic, then get it full sweet with full ice. If you are like me and drink la croix sugar free seltzer water, then get 30% sweet with 30% ice or you will feel like you are drinking flat sugary Pepsi.
i-Tea is pretty good, this one doesn't have special milk teas like TIeguanyin Milk Tea or Golden Oolong Milk Tea that I've seen in the Oakland location. Other than that, the Oakland location and this one is almost exactly the same in that their venue is pretty much for to-go only (no seating). One of the best spots for Milk Tea on the highly competitive Irving Street.
Went during slightly busy hours, the line wasn't that long but many people will order up to 4-5 items to make waiting even longer than expected. I got a black tea kream and it tasted just like a normal/plain black milk tea.
Popular boba chain with a large selection of drinks. With 5 sweetness and ice levels standard, 80%, 50%, 30%, 0%, although I don't think you can do 0% sweet on some drinks
1st time here, I'm happy with it. There so many different boba shops in San Francisco that you could go to one every Wednesday of the year and probably not hit them all. I'm glad I found this place, it's really good. The prices are normal and I didn't get a feeling as if this place was poor quality. It wasn't super crowded but there was a line. Parking is not always easy but parking in San Francisco is never easy.
I usually grab iTea when I'm in sunset after dinners. Bummed there's no more mango drinks available now. My go-to drink is fresh mango sago for something refreshing or honey brown rice milk tea without toppings (50/50, sweetness/ice) if I want something milky. I don't order boba here bc they don't have the right consistency I enjoy chewing on. Note: Pay a fee if you don't reach the $15 minimum for card.
I can't recall any other boba places in SF having tofuhua as a topping so I usually get a drink from here when I'm in the area. Writing this review to remind myself to get my drinks at 30% sweetness. FYI any card payments for orders under $15 get charged $0.50 extra
The boba was good, we went on a really hot day so it was packed. They had many people in line and got orders confused a couple times. I think they were under staffed but they handled the situation fine. My classic boba was good, and their tapioca pearls were soft.
The only reason I am shorting this place a star is because they did not have the Thai tea I ordered but I think that's because we came in so late so probably not their fault. otherwise one of the many, many holes in the wall in the sunset District that you should stick your head into if you have the chance and are looking for some boba, milk tea or Shave Ice. Very friendly service and one of the places open late on Irving past 19th Avenue. Another one of the places I always suspect are laundering operations because they "prefer* cash and the machines are down that take cards a little too often but I can assure you they are not the only place where this is on the Reg. And it always looks like it's chronically staffed by someone's cousin's friend. get there early if you want the Thai iced tea! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Strong tea taste. Has real fruit. Lots of topping choices. Go to Fruit Tea Place.

This is one of my go-to spots for boba when I'm way out in sunset district. There are a lot of drink options which can be really overwhelming, but if you have some sort of idea what you want or if you are fine playing the random game, then there's definitely something for you here. Most of the drinks here have lots of stuff in them already (boba, jelly, etc), but there are some classic options too. Depending on the time, there can be a crazy long line out the door, so your patience may be tested, but if you're not in a rush, then it's a good place to be for some good boba tea. Like most places in sunset, cash would be preferred since there's a $15 minimum charge to use credit card.
The inconsistency will kill a Chinese business. I’ve been here multiple times. I like their milk tea with red bean and tofuhua. However, they always don’t have well-prepared ingredients. Like today, my iced Lemon Tea tastes horrible. Speak with the owner today and make some suggestions on mango sago. Best luck.
Boba: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 2/5 Portion to Price: 3/5 Overall: Standard fare The extended review... Boba: Pear Boba - 3/5 - Taste and quality was standard fare. Service: 3/5 - Standard service. Ambiance: 2/5 - A grab and go place with no ambiance. Portion to Price: 3/5 - In line with standard boba pricing.
Long line...tiny cramp place, no seating area. Run out of items very quickly at this location. Waited in line for 20 mins to put in my order of a peppermint green tea boba. Paid for it and was waiting for my order. 10 mins later, was told they can't make my order since they ran out of the peppermint. Had to change my order to Panda tea. The drink was fine. The boba is soft, but due to all the negatives, I won't be coming back here. There r enough boba tea places around that will provide a better experience.

The mango pomelo sago is tasty, but the straw doesn’t even reach the bottom of the extremely tall cup :( there’s a solid inch of drink that you can’t get to. For $8 I would like to drink the entire thing easily

The taro milk tea has chunks of taro! Update: the wintermelon tea is garbage :( I would avoid it at all costs. Also the boba isn't particularly tasty, the texture is alright though.
As much as I LOVE iTea the chain, I CANNOT support this specific store location! Until this store all the iTea stores I went to before had kept an eye on the quality and freshness of their ingredients--especially the fruits as they can oxidize & go bad extremely quickly once you cut them up-- and the bobas are never overcooked, sticky, or old. UNFORTUNATELY, I ordered the "summer special" of a FRESH watermelon slushy with mini boba and was told I couldn't modify the sweetness because it was premade. I should have listened to my inner warning at that and ordered something else. That was my 1st mistake. That drink was bad all around. Seems like they got lazy and made too big of a batch since the slushy had sat too long and DIDNOT taste like fresh watermelon. It tasted a bit metallic and more like it was made from an artificial powder mix. It was also full of sugar (probably an attempt to mask the taste. If that wasn't bad enough, the boba pearls had sat around and were like the texture of rice porridge. (Probably lazy and made one big batch in the morning rather than smaller fresh batchs throughout the day like other stores.) All soft, no chewy al dente texture anywhere! Bleh!
Ive gone to this place many times and got my drinks cold every time but I decided to tried it hot today and when i opened my lid to check. They didnt fill it all the way up and scammed me. I paid $6.50 so I expect my drink to be filled to the top. I will never get another hot drink from this place. Plus the drink wasnt even hot enough. I am very disappointed because I really do like this place but come on you can’t even fill my drink all the way up?

Favorite boba spot of all time but the service is rude. I went with my friends and ordered a boba drink with an extra topping. They made my order wrong and forgot the extra topping. I told them that they forgot the topping and they said they will remake it but then I heard the people in the back say I was “annoying” in Cantonese. Not sure if they knew that I could understand them..
I wouldn't recommend getting too excited for the amount of flavors they have. Chances are, you ask for a certain flavor and they'll tell you "oh, we don't have that one yet". And I wouldn't recommend spending another second looking to get another flavor because chances are, they won't have that one either. My guess is they probably only have 38% of the flavors displayed on their screen. And their 'hot'* drinks carry the heat of a 20 seconds microwave session. 30% sweetness felt like it was giving me 100% diabetes. I can't imagine what 100% tastes like. All in all, simple things that can be corrected, if they're truly interested in delivering a good experience worth everyone's time, attention and money.

I've tired to go here multiple times and EVERY time I go the workers are on their phone and they get my order wrong. I ordered a strawberry fruit tea with boba and a typical milk tea with boba. They were talking really loud to each other. 2 drinks took 30 mins... really?? Nobody was there! When I got the drinks it was just the liquid, no boba or jelly. I told them it was missing and they didn't care. I wanted what I paid for but they were too lazy to redo the order. Rude, loud, and 0% effort employees.
I’m pregnant and found a SCREW in my drink! I almost choked on it and was able to get it before swallowing fully, thank the lord! I’m in totally shock. I believe this may have fallen off from the machine to seal the tops??? I tried calling you guys but the number does not work. I am furious, and want to talk to business owner.
After I ordered and paid, the girl told me that they ran out of boba when they was making my milk tea, asking if I accepted only pudding or add anything same price topping. How come they didn’t ask before I ordered? Well, I am fine with replacing although I don’t like to. What piss me off is after I walked around (about half hour) and back to my car which is in front of its store, I saw ppl getting out the store with BOBA milk tea!!! I added popping BoBa to my drink which tasted weird. Never drink Itea again. Damn it!!!

Today we ordered our mango sago drinks. The amount of mangoes in the drinks was significantly reduced, not just that but we were served with bad mangoes that had turned brown. We weren’t aware of it until we sipped the drink to the bottoms. It’s bad business practices when you intentionally give your customers deteriorating mangoes!!!
Terrible! I told the waiter twice that the paper on the cup wouldn't stick, but he refused to change it for me. As a result, the whole car was covered with milk tea. 😠
Online, stating there are no fees when ordering and then getting charged 50% of the total cost for a pick up order. Apparently they have an app, but it’s a need to know basis. No accountability for the quality of customer service.
I am so convinced that there is a fixed sugar level regardless of whether or not you ask for it to be less sweet. I have tried testing it multiple times by getting identical drinks with different levels of sweetness and they always taste the same sugar wise ( I always do this with the 3g milk tea). I used to love itea but there quality has gone downhill especially for it's price.
