Wow, amazing. Did not know gas station food can be this good. You can get so much chicken for $11. The chicken itself is also delicious. The meat was tender and well marinated. The chicken is well seasoned (might actually be too salty for some but it was good for me). The skin was also very crispy. Also didn’t experience the bad service some other reviews talked about but maybe I got lucky. Only complaint is that there isn’t a place to eat it so I had to wait 10 min until I got home to eat it which I am sure affected taste (still delicious though)

This has been the late night gas station chicken spot since forever. I saw that recently some food bloggers discovered it and proclaimed it an amazing gem or something of the sort. The chicken and wedge fries ain't bad but it's never been a hidden food gem, aclaimed bloggers are just getting younger and fatter :-) Its a gas station to begin with and a damn cheap one at that. It's pumps have never been replaced and it shows. It's on 17th and South vaness which has always been a little rough but not too shifty these days. The store has a pretty good assortment of candy chips and sodas cold beers a small slide top ice cream refrigerator and an open air cold shelf with pints of milk and orange juice. They sell smokes and lighters scratchers I think calling cards. Nothing fancy good little store. Open 24 hours if you need gas you can pay for with cash and of course some chicken.

So they make excellent chicken Here and they always have fresh fries, BUT it is more costly to buy anything at this gas station. We paid $4.75 for the bag size of hostess powdered donuts.

Located right in the heart of the Mission District , located East of the Castro Theatre, Krispy Krunchy Friend Chicken would be considered a family own business that serves the best Chicken in the area. It's technically a Gas Station that provides all the three types of gas ⛽ available, and a convienence store for all of your snacks, juice, pop and goodies you can get 24/7. The Krispy Krunchy Fried Chicken comes in single portions along side additional sides .I think the best of going to Krispy Krunchy Fried Chicken is the $24.99 Family Bundle which comes with a 8 pecies of Chicken, a box of Fries, Sour Doe Bread , and Jalepeno Poppers . Definitely the hottest deal in town! 🐣🐤🐔🍗

Let me start off by saying this is a gas station, with a store and is NOT a restaurant, however if you are looking for a quick bite of chicken, wedges and a couple of quick variety, this place is for you. I personally have no problem with this place it can just be congested at time. I have had their fried chicken and wasn't bad at all.

Most of the times the Chichén is decent, it’s hard to get it right as sometimes you will find cold chicken and other times you will be waiting up to 15 minutes for a fresh batch to be ready. It’s always better when you luck out and happened to arrived at the precise time of a new batch.

I was craving fried chicken so I typed in fried chicken in google maps. I decided to come here because it said it was open 24hr. The chicken was pretty damn good and the potatoes wedges were also good. It’s a gas station on the corner of 17th st. & S. Van Ness. It has posters of fried chicken on the windows.

Omg....legendary local gas station fare that has San Francisco local residents traveling from every corner of the city at any hour of the day for their truly worthy Chicken, Potato wedges and most have blue berry muffins! Visit and you will definitely be back repeatedly!

(... and I have been to All the Krispy Krunchy Chickens in san francisco haha) i figured they all would taste the same....but they do Not. This krispy krunchy chicken has the bestest honey butter biscuits!! They are just full of flavor so moist and yummmmy!! They are Not dry at all ( a lot of the other krispy places ...the biscuits are just...dry..:( ..) and the blueberry biscuits!! Like the jiffy blueberry muffins..but a biscuit full of yummy~ness!! The chicken...also full of juicy yummy~ness...i dont know what they do different at this krispy krunchy chicken place ... but they are definitely the yummy~est krispy krunchy chicken in San Francisco!! When we first pulled up to this gas station..if you have ever been here or if you decide to go here (which everyone should try the food here!!) ....maybe just go during the day time..(haha..jk) if you are not use to the area tho...it can look... its san Francisco.. haha .. but dont be scared.. just run inside and order some krispy krunchy chicken food from here! Or even better .. you can just order some krispy krunchy chicken (the one on van ness ave ) from doordash or postmates and have the food come to you (: The only reason i put 4 stars instead of 5 is because sometimes the cashiers are kinda rude like or get irritated or something because i am not sure what they are saying and i keep saying .."what..?.." ..or .."..um..i dont know what you are saying.." but i guess i could see how that would be kinda annoying.. and the other reason why i put a 4 star instead of a 5 is because the sun face on the box freaks me out and is just creepy!! (Sorry if you never noticed the Sun pic on the box...until now because i had to point it out to you.. and now you will also be forever freaked out everytime you get a box of food from here.. .. sorry.) But dont let that stop you from getting food from here cause it is So Super Yummy!!

Had a craving for fried chicken 4 in the morning. Went on Yelp and found this place that open 24 hours. The chicken wasn't bad. It wasn't season enough though. But they do offer little packets of different kind of sauces. The chicken tenders are juicy. The chicken with the bones we're also good. But what I suggest is that you eat everything in one sitting, sharing with your friends and family. If you reheat it later, it would be dry. But overall not bad. Especially when you're craving crunchy fried chicken in the middle of the night.

This place is open 24/7 the chicken isn't always ready. Seems they have to run out and wait to decide if they need more chicken, its a chicken takeout, store, gas station, in a bad neighborhood if you're not a native. Gas is supposed to be cheap but it's the same higher prices gas.

It's 24 hours, suitably sketchy, and the biscuits are delicious. Chicken ain't bad either. Until you wake up the next morning with a hangover. I've never had fried chicken that gave me a hangover before, but this place does every time. Loaded with MSG, methinks.

Not bad, but also not mind blowing. I decided to give it a try because SF gate wrote an article about them and said they have the best fried chicken in San Francisco. I came with a high hope and it turned out to be a disappointment. Their fried chicken is ok, pretty average. It nowhere nearly as good as the article made them out to be. The fried potato wedge is very big portion. Other than that, there isn’t anything special I can say about their food.

On the plus side they are open 24 hrs so if after a night of dancing at the Armory you are hungry for some fried chicken then this place is open. But the neighborhood here has a great deal to be desired in terms of safety. Food was okay

The worker didn't speak English and didn't know what I was say, or so he acted like he didn't. A customer came in and translated to us both. They had chicken only and potatoes wedges, no other sides were offered. Food was cold. But they suppose to be 24hrs. I was in the neighborhood and needed to eat.

Wrong order given and therefore overcharged. Chicken was drier than a nun's downstairs mixup. If this is the only place left op n and you haven't eaten for two days: starve gracefully.

The people who runs this place has horrid respect customers, would get a -10 rating from me. I was making 8 orders for my dad gathering and he keep cutting me off, don't know white meat from dark. Will never go here again. His attitude was so disgusting I walked away. And went to Hard Knox just up the street all around great service.

Really bad chicken. Dry, tasted old, lack of flavor. Maybe just the people working the day we went. I pretty much like all fried chicken but this was barely edible. The fries were also greasy and undercooked.

While using the restroom for about 7 minutes, one of the employees walked in on me with(the key), they knew I was in there. The employee is the short young heavy set female. I addressed about how do they deal with their employees walking in on their customers? The manager told me being in the restroom for 7 mins is too long. Did I deserved to be walked in on regarding to the 7 min delay? I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone, justice needs to be situated.

Ordered via Uber Eats. The only items they didn’t get wrong were the fries. Otherwise, they left out an entire combo meal, gave the wrong pies, and the tenders were cold and mediocre.

First of all, this isn't a restaurant. Its a gas station. They don't make the chicken there, its sitting in heaters like the ones at 7-11. I ordered my food through grubhub and paid and when I got to the place, they never heard of grubhub and started yelling at me. They were completely rude.

RED FLAG!!!Greasy,over priced and people that work there are jerks. The clerk was picking her nose, no gloves, they over charge you on orders.Theyre coughing,spitting in food.Never going there again.Its the only place to get something to eat late in area, an they laugh at you if you mention anything about the cleanliness. Let me start off by saying If I could give this place a NEGATIVE rating , I certainly would . I and my family have had nothing but great eating experiences and wonderful customer service at the location close to Daly City. Being that this restaurant is in San Francisco (a tourist friendly city) I thought going to a 24hr KKFC was going be a good decision but tonight was the worst. The customer service was TERRIBLE, and full of attitude. On top of that, they gave me old, Soggy food, that looked as if it had been sitting there for hours. When I went back in to ask them for fresh chicken , the man rudely interrupted me and claimed that they were fresh. After having to go back and forth with him about it not being fresh, I opened the container, and showed him the super soggy, dark, burnt looking hot wing, and he immediately took the box and threw it in the trash, not once apologizing for giving me old chicken, or his outrageous attitude. I had to let him know that I too worked in a chicken fast food establishment, and I know what old chicken looks like. He then proceeded to raise his voice at me and tell me again that the chicken was fresh, when his action of throwing the "old chicken" out says otherwise. The man proceeded to then give me FRESH chicken. Which was a complete turn around from what we had before, and I made sure to show him this before leaving. After I had returned to my car with my waiting family and the rest of our food, I looked in the other box with the tenders in it, and saw that they were also not fresh. I also noticed that the amount requested and paid for were not there. I am outraged! I have no energy to go back into that restaurant and argue with the rude man after a long day, and my family being hungry. I can tell you two things; the first being that I want to make a complaint and make sure it gets past the supervisor AND receive a full refund, and two, never recommend this place to anyone .

Cancer patients can't eat food older than 30 minutes to 1 hr old bc of bacteria that won't affect healthy people but can kill low to zero immune sickly people. The Krispy Krunchy on 3rd and SSF always make fresh batches for my son and treat him to the delicious blueberry cornbread! Wish we could still go to 16th/S. Van Ness, but won't risk the time, safety, or off chance of finally getting fresh food.

I order 2 4 piece dinners=8 pieces of chicken 19.57. 2 potato wedges 6.98. 2 Pepsi 7.98. Came out to 53.00 on Uber this is what I paid. I received only 2 pieces of chicken, and one set of fries. I did get both drinks. I suggest that know one orders Uber with these people. I thought a company takes care of a client not rob them. I am not rich. I feel you rob me . I am very very upset. I pray to God that I am at work and don't have my vehicle because I probably would of landed in jail night. I am hot 🔥. I am 🔥 I am 🔥. Don't play with people because you might not know who you are playing with. One more time don't play with people because you don't know who you are playing with. (
