Opinions de Saucy Asian San Francisco
Dribble across this wonderful place and really enjoyed their creative take on fusion of Mexican and Korean cuisines. The tacos with the bulgogi meat was delicious and filling. It brings out the best in two wonderful cuisines.
The food I had delivered to my residence from this restaurant was very delicious. I never had Asian tacos 🌮 before. First time for everything. I may even order food from this restaurant again sometime soon. I highly recommend this place. I give them 5 stars ⭐️
The bowls and tteokbokki were all extremely flavorful and filling. The tteokbokki is not saucy like in other establishments, it does seem to be a different style of preparation, but it still SO good. The japchae was fresh and light, not amazing but still good. The stars of the show were definitely the bibimbap and the saucy bowl. Really recommend the spicy chicken vs the soy chicken. The portions are very generous, the eggs on the bibimbap are perfectly poached, it was an amazing combination of flavors and textures. I can’t wait to eat here again and will definitely recommend it to people in the area. I need to try their saucy fries too, they looked amazing.
The Seoul cheesetake and the Saucy Asian were so good!
This place does not get enough recognition it deserves. Part of me wants to gatekeep this put I can't tie down the great meals every time I'm here only to myself. Listen to me and get the Saucy Asian Bowl over Spicy Pork or Bulgogi. It will shatter your mind and alter your life and will cause you to question why has this been hiding from you its entire life. Every time I'm in the city, I go out of my way to the Castro just to hit Saucy Asian. Whenever I have family in town, I gotta take them to Saucy Asian. The service is great, the food and flavors are not only consistent, but its a solid bang for your buck. You are sleeping on this if you haven't tried this.
We got take out and had to wait longer then the estimated pickup time since there were a lot of people ordering at the same time as us (around noon). We got the Tonkatsu bowl, chicken wings, and ddeokbokki. Everything we got was really good! Sadly, our tongue could not take the heat on the ddeokbokki...if it were not for that, I think my boyfriend and I would have gobbled everything quickly!
Very difficult to find rice cakes in any capacity of take out so I was excited from the start. The kimchi burrito with only a $1 up charge for beef bulgogi was very affordable, especially for the size of the burrito and handmade chips. Thoroughly impressed and would recommend those visiting to try, especially if you’re not wanting to drop $40-60 for a meal! From my understanding though, very limited if any at all gluten free options (which is expected since most items have soy sauce)
Came here with a friend on a Thursday for dinner and man was this delicious! I loved how much food this came with - the kimchi burrito was incredible, it had so much flavor for a burrito. Good: - Good value for price - Unique dishes that are Asian fusion - Nice staff that helped recommend the right dish - Cool vibes, it had LED lights inside and had a fun aura Bad: - Super casual place, overall Overall would come again!
Decent poke spot - bit pricey for what they serve but the food is good.
Asian mexican fusion restaurant with lots of veggie options! Highly recommend the kimchi quesadilla

I got their food 2 days in a row from DoorDash because they’re so good! Such good and filing California burritos 🌯 😍
Decent poke spot - bit pricey for what they serve but the food is good.
Saucy Asian is a flavor-packed gem in San Francisco! The Korean BBQ tacos are next-level, perfectly seasoned and full of bold flavors and the kimchi fried rice is a must-try. The sauces truly live up to the name, adding an amazing kick to every bite. The vibe is fun, the staff is super friendly, and portions are generous. If you’re craving creative, delicious Korean-inspired street food, this is the spot!
I absolutely love Saucy Asian! The food is incredibly delicious — every dish is packed with authentic Korean flavors and cooked to perfection. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. The customer service is amazing. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. The restaurant is very clean and well organized, and ordering is always easy and smooth. I always leave feeling happy and satisfied with what I paid for my meal. The portions, the flavor, and the overall experience are definitely worth it. I highly recommend Saucy Asian to anyone looking for delicious Korean food and great service!

Been wanting to try this place for a long time but for many reasons it never presented to be the rite times. Today was the day I wasn’t disappointed, it was actually better than I thought. A Good fast food option with a healthy touch. I got a Saucy Bowl with beef Bulgogi and a side of crab Salad. Removed the rice from the bowl as in my opinion it just takes away from the contents that I want more of. Japchae with the mixed greens were a perfect combo. Next time I will add two sides of crab salad instead of just one. The crab with the Bulgogi was a real treat! Pull up and get sauces you won’t regret it.
Tasty food , fast service, nice place .. more of a takeaway with a few chairs to eat in, rather than actual restaurant, but seemed popular with the locals which is usually a good sign
Service was very fast - we had our food in under 5 minutes. We ordered the saucy Asian bowl and the bibimbap. The bibimbap I thought was pretty good, but the saucy Asian bowl had an overwhelming smokey flavor to it. Still, everything was pretty good overall. Also, the portions were large! You won't be hungry afterwards.
For the price, the Saucy Asian is excellent, but the wait and operational organization is a disaster. It seems like they have way too many to-go orders and they don't prioritize people who dine-in. What it comes down to, if they would get a couple of more people in the kitchen they would probably be able to hand all the orders they get. For the food, its excellent. I would definitely come back but be prepared, it could be like getting burger from In-n-Out.
Pretty looking saucy dishes.
Decent place to go. Small restaurant with good food. Variety of vegetarian options. We’re vegetarian and we mostly look for vegetarian food. Here the taste was good. Bowl size was quite big, to finish in one go. Decent place for a quick food. Overall it was a good place to go. They have tried to be little more creative with maxican bowls and give it an asian punch.
Saucy Asian is a nice, unexpected corner café in the Castro District/ Mission Dolores area. While it’s unfortunately not fully plant-based/vegan, the staff is quite knowledgeable about allergens and instead of simply removing items which do not fit the plant based/vegan or gluten-free criteria, they have substitutes which do not remove flavor and allow for a well-rounded flavorful meal. The vibe is reminiscent of beachside cafès in Mumbai.
Delicious! There's not a lot of good Korean food in the Mission. This hits the spot. Go for the Saucy Bowl with spicy chicken. The Kalbi looked good too.
