Excellent customer service from Sharetea and the drink was pretty awesome as well!

I got the Creama black tea with boba and it was fantastic! The cream was good and they showed me how to cut the top to sip it properly. The tea was also fantastic and boba amazing. I got less sugar and would recommend that unless you really have a sweet tooth.

Unique and tasty choices engulf their menu. Friendly staff, quick service, you can even order ahead with the app. I highly recommend the "Strawberry Mojito!" Yum.

Finally got to try this Sharetea location out, and I approve! I tried the oolong creama with agar (crystal) jelly and loved it. I think the crystal jelly is a healthier alternative to boba and it goes rather nicely with the non milk drinks. My friend ordered the mango passion fruit green tea and she loved it too. Overall, service was friendly, and the drinks came out at a reasonable time. Plus there's plenty of seating around to just hang out. I would definitely come back.

5 stars for the happy family drink. It's milk tea with a little of each topping - boba, tiny boba, jelly, red bean, grass jelly, pudding and can't remember what else. Super fun getting a surprise in each slurp. Note that toppings can be sweet so asking for no sugar worked for me. You can do no ice too so more tea, yay!

Great location in the Metreon food court, right next to Moscone Center. Touch screen ordering is simple and straight forward and quality was equivalent to other locations I have been to.

Quick service. Lots of options. Make sure to check in on their loyalty thing, you will get free toppings etc when you go back a few times. It's in a hip place, so there is plenty to do around there. No place to sit later in the evening because the dining area closes around 8.

One of my go-to boba spots on this side of SF. Here's why: 1. big portions for fair prices (~$5). their cups are larger than the usual "regular" size. 2. convenient location. only other decent option nearby is boba guys by union square. this is closer to powell station/the mall/movie theaters. 3. quick service. don't be deterred by a line. they usually get your order out within 2-3 min or 5 if it's busier. 4. customizable. besides the usual toppings, you can specify sweetness level (i like 30% or 50%), amount of ice (less ice!), and i think even quantity of toppings (if you don't want a heaping pile of boba left when you finish your tea). 5. really tasty drinks! the okinawa (brown sugar) w/ mixed pearls and the oolong w/ lychee jelly are my two favorites. the matcha red bean is like a dessert if you want something sweeter. the hot fresh taro milk tea is great for when the weather is chillier. If it's not too cold out, take your drinks out back for a walk around Yerba Buena Gardens :)

I absolutely love this location. Upon my first time visiting I really felt the welcoming environment and the little shop was so cute and quaint. The employees were really nice. I ordered the Tiger milk tea with boba and it was delicious. I'd recommend getting it less sweet at about 75% because that level ended up being perfect for me. The boba wasn't hard or sticking together but was just right. This place is great and I'll definitely be coming back.

This is currently my favorite boba place in the city! My go-to drink is always the brown rice milk tea. I typically get pearls, but recently discovered that the agar jelly is quite delicious as well. You can customize the level of sugar and ice, which is always a huge plus, as I don't like super sweet drinks.

I got the passion fruit, orange and grapefruit tea with lychee and it was so amazing! Usually Boba places like this make things too sweet so I got it with no sugar and it was the best drink I've had in a long time. The grapefruit was just the right amount of sour and the passion fruit and orange added a little bit of tang. That combined with the lychee made the drink so good. This will be my go to drink the next time I'm back.

I love going to the city to watch Wrestling and I have been seen @shareteametreon on my Instagram feed and I wanted to check it out. I got iced blended coffee with creama and ice cream. It was so sweet and amazing. The ice cream on top is so elevating. I love how the fresh fruit tasted in the Peach tea with kiwi fruit. I love a good mojito and the lime Mojito did not disappoint. It was sweet and tangy, which was perfect for me. The last drink I got was the Matcha red bean milk tea with mini pearls and it was so good. I usually enjoy red beans in Vietnamese Che but I been getting it in Boba and it so good. I can understand why this drink is so popular! All in all everything was great and I would be coming back to try more drinks from @shareteametreon . 📍ShareTea in the Metreon in San Francisco, CA.

I find this to be a consistently good tea drink place. If you order less sweet + less ice it will come out that way. They have a lot of flavor options, from basic to more adventurous. One thing I especially like about the sharetea is they have lychee chunks as an add-in, which I prefer to boba. Note: there is only one large size available, it is ideal for sharing. It's kind of too much for one person.

This place is pretty fantastic - at least from the perspective of an east coast native, which is not saying much I suppose. The best thing about Sharetea is the number of great flavor options. Plus, the bobas are always perfectly cooked. Never underestimate how important it is to have well made bobas. The only down side is the price, it's hard to argue that its not a little steep.

I wish that pricess were cheaper since half the labor is automated. I hope the operation cost trickle down to higher hourly rates for workers. They were really lovely and nice

B

This place is pretty awesome for boba teas and I think they have more but I haven't tried any of them. So that's why I give them four stars plus they were at

S

I got the coffee cream one with soy milk... soy milk is kind of sweet so I had my lightly sweet with regular ice and pearls. I snuck it into the movie theater and was able to sip on it throughout the entire movie... Not only was it good, but it prevented me from getting my traditional candy soda popcorn binge :)

v
videofishbowl

It's your better than average bubble tea store. The portions are larger than most, the place is always busy, the line does move, and the quality seems a step up. Plenty of choices, plenty of extras and it's a lot cleaner than most. You can expect to pay $5 for a tea, but consider the real estate.

M

Half decent boba tea spot in the lobby of the Metreon building. A fine place to grab a drink before or after a movie, but certainly nothing to write home about. ½ sweetness was the right amount of sweetness.

A
A A

This is a 3.5 star rating. More sweet has the same sweetness as extremely sweet, and less sweet. The Happy Family Large, came to $6.00 with tax, tip, and mandate, and was a sour combination of big pearls, small pearls, hard lychee cubes, soggy red beans, and.....the kitchen sink. The actual milk tea was as bland, and forgettable as the local Evening News. Yet, there was, and always seems to be a line, due to the perfect location of being on the way to AMC movie theater, at the food court. There's so many better bubble tea stores out there, I would skip Sharetea. $$$ out of $$$$$. No dedicated bathroom. Garage parking nearby. I would not recommend Sharetea.

A

The Metreon's Sharetea is pretty nice. The drinks are cool and refreshing with a beautiful aesthetic. I love the different layers in this drink. It also doesn't make you pee too badly so you can definitely watch a movie right after it. However, I was hoping that the tea itself had a bit more flavor. Whether it was more tea-y or more fruity, anything would make it even better. Also, the green kiwi layer on the bottom is less vibrant than the image presents itself as.

It’s a franchise and there could be a line at times, but it goes by pretty quick and they serve the drinks in just a few minutes. The picture I took is of their Taro Tea. I ordered the normal sweetness and less ice option (I think I’ll do no ice next time to get more of the drink and not to have to struggle to drink the last few boba pearls). Not the best boba in my opinion but it does hit the spot. Only one size offered (which is pretty good sized). I’d still go here though if I’m looking for boba near Powell/Union Square, and maybe try some of their other flavors.

There are many Taiwanese milk tea place in SF, but I like this place so much. Compared to other places, Sharetea’s milk tea is yummy. However, I only know this Sharetea branch, so I don’t know other Sharetea branches. This place is good when you go to movie theater or enjoy Yerba Buena Park outside. My favorite is black milk tea with bubbles, and 50% less sugar. If you choose 100% sugar, it’s too sweet (it depends on person’s preference though). Staff members are not so friendly, but they move quickly. Therefore, even the shop is crowded, you don’t need to wait too much time. It’s helpful right?

Their taro boba is not good. It is my favorite flavor but they ruined it for me. The drinks took a very long time to get out and the service was not the best. But it was still boba and their pearls are really good. Just don't get the taro and expect to wait a little bit.

Stopped at this location of Sharetea when visiting the Metreon a couple of days ago. Decided to keep it simple and get a Classic Milk Tea ($5). Service seemed a little slow as there were a bunch of people already waiting for their drinks after ordering but it was within the 10-minute mark which is not too bad. The tea was very average. There were a couple things that stood out. It was not strong enough, had that weird after-taste of non-dairy creamer and finally the 50% sweet was a little too bland for me. So the learning here is to ask if they have some regular whole milk, skim milk etc. that can be used in the milk tea and to stick to their default sweetness level which is already at the not-too-sweet mark. Won't mind stopping by again if passing by but will not make a special trek for this again.

Tuck inside the metreon mall, located next to the cinema ticketing booth. I pass by this mall every other day and never knew there's a bubble tea shop in there. There are no signages on the building to indicate their presence except via the directory. I was craving for bubble tea and found this via yelp. I had to still reference to the mall directory to locate their shop. Though the queue to place your order is pretty short, you do have to wait quite a bit for your drink. Many of them ordered more than 1 cup, some were carrying huge bags filled with drinks! They offer 1 cup size for now. Drink is decent. Satisfy my bubble tea cravings. Service was not bad. I approached with a big smile but was greeted with a grumpy face. Both the ordering and collection counter. But oh well, there's only one bubble tea shop around here, beggars can't be chooser (at least for now)

I've been here a few times now, and it has not been disappointing. There's a line sometimes, but it goes by fairly fast. If you're not sure what to order, they have a convenient Top 10 (or wait, was it 20?) menu on display that you can look at while standing in line. Or you can probably just ask for a suggestion from the staff (if they're not too busy - otherwise you'll just be holding up the line). Compared to other places in the area (north of Market), it's a bit pricier. But it is in a convenient location right in Metreon, so easy to stop by on your way to a movie or if you're just around the Yerba Buena area ;)

We used to like their teas when we lived nearby. Recently we were in the area and decided to order from them again. To our surprise they got rid of their taro milk (with real taro) at least it wasn’t an option on DoorDash. So we got their original milk tea (added salted cheese cream) and taro milk tea. Both were extremely watered down even tho we chose light or no ice. The milk tea had a very obvious and unpleasant nondairy creamer taste. To make matters worse the cheese foam tasted like artificial butter that is in old school Asian cakes lol. So bad and it was $2 add on. Overall the drinks tasted like something from Quickly, even happy lemon which already doesn’t use as high quality ingredients as new brands like heytea and mollytea tastes better than this. Sad to see one of the older, loved brands go downhill and the only reason it’s not 1 star is that I feel bad giving it one star

Not my cup of tea. Drink looks boring. Drink are too sweet even though “No Sugar” was chosen. No fruit in the drink even though it’s call fruit tea.

Tried this place for the first time. I always see a line. I figured this must be a really good place. Line was short today. Person at cash register did not great me not even with a smile. I was greeted with "what can I get you?". (1st strike) I know what it's like to be in the food/customer service industry. I gave them a tip and I received no thanks. (2nd strike) When I was called to get my drink different person shown some attitude and rolled her eyes. Holy $h!t that was terrible. Who pissed in their cereal to give bad customer service. To top it off the taro milk tea tasted like a powdered mixed drink. I've tasted better at quickly's. (3rd strike) I hope this was not discrimination due to my gender or my race. I've seen them treat other customers better.

Please remember your order number, your name is not enough. Or your drink will be held for a while because it is extremely hard to find it and you could end up with a lecture about that!

While the location is convenient because you can bring the drinks into the AMC theater upstairs, the prices are higher. Additionally, the Oreo iced drink does not taste like Oreos at all. It has a chalky taste that is mildly coffee flavor. I usually enjoy Sharetea and think it is one of the better milk tea shops in NorCal, so this was a disappointment.

We ordered two taro milk teas today with 30% and 50% sweetness. How come they both taste not sweet at all. We like the place but just hope the quality can be consistent.

Update: Not clean!!!! Be aware of food poisoning!!!!! After an hour of getting my boba, I started having very bad stomachache and vomited the whole boba out! Be aware!!! Not clean!!! Everyone is charged 0.25 for a pickup bag but no one ever gets a bag with their order. Doesnt taste great compared to other boba in the area.
