Brilliant! Beautiful! Some of the best nigiri sashimi that we have ever had!

We went for Valentines dinner which was amazing, we had red roses on the tables and a violinist was playing as we ate. The service was perfect, everyone was lovely and the setting is just stunning! Although it’s expensive, it’s worth the money as it is an experience in itself.

Favorite restaurant on the property. Love the grilled lobster and waygu. Jhovani was the best, most attentive server. He made sure my food allergies and restrictions were well understood 💕

Amazing amazing. Food was so good, seafood was really fresh. The Tuna tartare was so fresh and delicious. The environment is stunning. Pricing, although on the higher side, is very reasonable for the environment, quality, and level of service. This is really a sushi resturaunt and it does not disappoint. The "birds nest" stick structure is just incredible to look at. Go at 5pm or around sunset for the most amazing ambiance. Not sure I like the look of viceroy to actually stay at, a little to sterile, but it's an amazing place to visit and get a few IG photos. Overall amazing experience, will return next time I'm in Cabo.

The place is beautiful as is the resort. Absolutely loved it. The food and service were impeccable. They even had a separate entirely vegan menu which was delicious. My favorites were the tempura edamame and the shiitake tacos. They even had vegan dessert.

Nido located in beautiful hotel Viceroy. We went on Sunset time, the view is spectacular. The service is excellent. Our server Shamante (spelling maybe wrong) and Abraham are very nice and professional. The testing menu is wonderful, i also ordered crab roll, that is the best. Overall a very good experience!

Excelente lugar. Si vas a cenar ahí tienes que tener en cuenta que está situado en un hotel de lujo, y por ende como en todo cabo y hoteles de esa categoría los precios son elevados. Pero al igual que si vas a O&O o Four seasons. Si eres local puedes pedir el descuento. El atardecer ahí es increíble y la comida a nivel internacional.

Este restaurante superó nuestras expectativas por mucho. Todo y todos son increíbles. La comida, las bebidas y los postres deliciosos. La decoración, la música, la excelente atención e increíble ambiente en general hacen que todo sea PERFECTO 💯. Lo recomiendo ampliamente para quienes gustan de la comida japonesa con toque mexicano e internacional con ingredientes locales. Es un MUST probarlo todo aquí. Les va a FASCINAR! Hay que hacer reserva y cierra los lunes.

Restaurante - Experiencia en todo sentido!! este es uno de los restaurantes mas hermosos que conozco, el diseño es sublime, el trato es especial y la comida es espectacular! nosotros optamos por el Menú recomendado por el chef de 10 tiempos, cada platillo era presentado directamente por el chef. <br/>NIDO tiene una carta a la cual se puede acceder por el celular a través del código QR, todo esto para cuidar de nuestro planeta, gran iniciativa y este tipo de detalles hablan mucho sobre la filosofía de este restaurante <br/>El menú que nos recomendó el chef en nuestra cena de aniversario contemplaba platillos como, camarón de rio con mole de wasabi, brocheta de cerdo, tiradito de pescado, almejas chocolatas, ostiones con mantequilla de la casa, pie de queso estilo oriental y mountain chocolate blanco. <br/>Después de todos estos platillos y mas salimos rodando pero felices! una de las mejores cenas de nuestras vidas, vale la pena totalmente dejarse consentir por el chef y mas en un lugar tan mágico como NIDO, 100% recomendado por foodie.

Excelente lugar para cenar en pareja, la comida es de alta calidad, los precios son un poco elevados pero realmente es una experiencia única, el restaurante tiene una arquitectura muy acogedora simulando que se está en un nido acuático y el servicio no está mal.

Located inside the Viceroy, this is a beautiful spot that reflects the stylish architectural design of the hotel. As a Japanese restaurant, Nido serves specialty makis, omakase dinners, robatayakis (try the lobster with habanero mayonnaise, it's great) and nigiris moriawase. We enjoyed the latter and every single piece was delicious and fresh. Don't miss the matcha tiramisu, an instant classic!

We walked in without being hotel guests, were warmly welcomed and ate an insanely good meal. Hamachi tiradito was oustanding. The miso salmon was superb. Trust me and order the side of grilled vegetables. They come off the robatayaki with a citrus soy and the brussels sprouts were to die for.

This location was probably the most visually stunning places I’ve ever been to, and the food absolutely matched its gorgeous location. We were so appreciative of the vegan menu, and it did not disappoint. Most notably, the spring rolls were so incredibly fresh and so delectable that we had to get a second order. The cocktails were incredibly delicious - it was also so fun to watch the “fizz” cocktail be prepared from the air canister, and it was incredibly light and refreshing. The entire staff was so attentive and gracious, they truly made us feel welcome and made the whole experience enjoyable. Both the view and the food made this a dinner experience I’ll never forget!

However, the otherwise perfect evening was slightly marred by the **manager**, who felt overly eager to rush our dishes. While we understand the pace of fine dining, the constant pressure to finish plates quickly detracted from the relaxed, indulgent atmosphere we were hoping for. Despite this, NIDO Sushi remains a must-visit ,for anyone craving top-tier sushi in Cabo. The flavors are exceptional, the setting is breathtaking,and the ,staff (minus the pushy manager) elevate the experience**. Just be prepared to dine at their tempo—or kindly ask to savor each bite at your own pace.

This restaurant was just so cool to dine at. The structure is built to resemble a birds nest surrounded by water. It was absolutely stunning. The food and service were also amazing! I would definitely recommend the spicy miso soup which was delicious and the pork belly bao buns which were so fluffy and flavorful. Everything we ordered was great and the staff explained their recommendations along with most of the menu. Can't recommend this place enough, it was definitely a great experience!

Incredible restaurant located within the Viceory resort in San Jose del Cabo. Definitely one of the most beautiful properties in the world. Excellent restaurant with incredible food, excellent service and astonishing views of the Gulf of California. The clams were my favorite dish and probably one of the tastiest thing I've ever had. The cocktails were perfect. Overall, an absolutely perfect meal. A must visit!

If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion in Los Cabos, Nido is the place. Dinner at Nido is an extraordinary experience! Nido sits within a nest-like cover which is surrounded by walkways and water. We had a group of 6 people so we were able to share several different dishes. In addition to sushi I ordered the table side Japanese grill: one with salmon and one with shrimp. These personal sized grills come to the table serving up fresh fish and veggies and a side of dipping sauce. The fish was fresh and the veggies were grilled to perfection with a little char on the outside. The streamed pork belly buns were delicious and fluffy. Maya’s lime soup was fresh, light and tasty. All of the drinks paired well with sushi and fish choices. The food presentation was amazing and thoughtful! We shared several desserts also. You can’t go wrong with any of them but the grilled plantains hit the spot! Nido is a dinner experience you will never forget!

We went there last night for dinner and had a wonderful time. Service Everyone from the gentleman covering the lobby to the hostess at Nido was top notch. The hostess was sweet, on her game, and was kind enough to seat us earlier than our reservation. Our server was knowledgeable and nice, but he was clearly busy and forgot our drinks, so we didn't get it till dessert came out. All the staff working inside were also very professional and great. Food Beautifully plated and well curated dishes to choose from. Overall taste was excellent, but not mind blowing. I would skip dessert and order another cocktail as their drinks are delicious. Vibes The architecture is stunning inside and out. The music that they have playing is spot on with the ambiance that they're going for. The views looking outside from the nest is peaceful and soothing. The views from outside the nest is the best at night as the Viceroy hotel really shines from their architecture and lighting, so they play off each other. Thank you, Irving! Big thanks to Irving who helped us out on getting a reservation! We weren't able to get a reservation till October online, so we walked in from the beach and Irving (I think), helped us by calling the restaurant. You're the best human being ever. Muchas gracias! We'll definitely be back!

Great food and ambiance, such a unique space. I had a delicious ceviche unlike anything I'd seen. It was fresh and so tasty. We had lunch there and the service was very attentive and informative, everyone spoke wonderful English. Even the house-made chips and bread on the sandwich are worth mentioning. I forgot to take a pic of the food though. If it's really sunny or breezy, beware. There's not a ton of protection in the nest (nido) and it's only open for breakfast and lunch.

One of the absolute coolest dining experiences I’ve ever had. Our salad and asada steak shiskebab skewer were phenomenal, but the sushi is marginal at best. Low quality fish and the omakase is not your typical specialty fish, it’s just normal tuna and salmon and rolls from the main menu. I’d recommend going but would avoid the sushi if you’re used to high quality sushi (as I am in the Bay Area)

Art. One of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever seen, you are literally eating inside a piece of artwork. The service is impeccable and everything is pristine. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the food and drinks at this price point. It is good, just not worth the price tag. Still a must see for anyone in Cabo.

Nido (nest like wood design) was beautiful. There were some good plates on the menu. I didn’t get to try everything. But some plate could use some improvement. My favorite dish was the corn, the salmon nigiri and the sake. If you are in Cabo it’s worth trying it out

Setting: 5 stars! This is obviously a huge reason for coming to Nido as it’s one of a kind. The hotel is awesome and unique and the best is both a wonder at night and during the day. Service: Marco Polo was great as well as the hostess that sat us and the valet that also showed us to the restaurant. This great hospitality was the big reason the review was not less. Food/price: this was the disappointing part....for the price there is an expectation of great flavor and none of the dishes had that. The fish was bland and texture chewy, pork sliders were tough and again without any taste, the won tons were spicy but could have tasted like a pizza pocket for that matter. I do not mean to be cruel ****there is a service charge and tax added automatically. I hope the servers know this will directly effect their tip unless of course the night is perfect and if the food isn’t fixed that’s not likely******

My wife and I had an early dinner at Nido on Nov 8th, 2024. The food is quite good as they had recently modified their menu. The service was great, our servers had timely suggestions on what to order. The only issue was when the bill came. There was a 15% service charge included in the bill, which is normal for this type of hotel. However, our server informed us that the service charge is for the Viceroy Hotel, not for them. I found this to be very off putting. We have eaten at the Dalia (now closed) restaurant at the Viceroy and we had the same situation, with our servers telling us that the service charge is for the Viceroy, so clearly this is a not very well thought out practise at the Viceroy, some may argue that it is somewhat deceptive.

The restaurant itself was gorgeous, I was just underwhelmed with the food options available. Ended up getting appetizers here and went to the restaurant upstairs for our meal.

Carpaccio was bland and shrimp were over cooked. Wait staff was excellent and so was the apple tart dessert.

Lots of mosquitoes! Watch out and put on bug spray before getting there. The manager came and offered us her bug spray mid meal, which was very nice. Food is average, especially at the price point. Do not order the sushi roll (we’re biased though because we have excellent sushi in Vancouver). Grilled prawns were overcooked but the waitstaff was friendly and efficient. The prices, food and mosquitoes do not justify the room

Definitivamente no lo recomiendo 👎 La comida y la experiencia 2,3 pero considero que hay mejores La situación es que te cobran demasiado en mi experiencia fui por una reunión de negocios y solo éramos 4 personas donde cada quien pidió su platillo 2 bebidas c/1 y dos entradas El tema es que al momento de pedir la cuenta pues vienen precios en pesos mexicanos porque te preguntan si quieres el menú en español o en inglés ahí todo bien. Pero como buenos mexicanos pues pedimos el menú en español, resulta que los precios que marca en el menú español es uno y cuando te traen la cuenta los precios es en dólar y mala mente ellos toman el dólar a su conveniencia Ejemplo La cuenta fue de 527 dólares total al tipo de cambio de ellos 10540 m.n. La tranza es que ellos te cobran en dólar y ponen otro precio en moneda nacional no coinciden y que ellos me tomaron el dólar en 20 pesos a la fecha de hoy está a 18.20 Trsite mente el turista no se da cuenta ósea que roban a lo canijo Y además tardaron mucho en preparar los platillos

Pésima atención, nunca vi un trato así a los clientes. Comida muy salada y sobre valorada. El lugar es arquitectónicamente muy lindo pero no vale la pena ir. Para nada recomendable.

Very disappointing birthday celebration with no acknowledgement of my birthday until my husband had to say something, even though it was already noted on the reservation. Even then, 2 other tables received sparkler candles and we didn’t get a candle at all. We noticed inequality across each table—one table received warm hand towels, while nobody else did. Others received far more attention. Carlos was our server and my husband noticed that he walked away without even asking what he wanted to order for dessert. The servers lack attentiveness, except for the woman asking guests if they would like a blanket and the manager asking about our experience. The food was unfortunately a miss. The octopus was tough to chew and overcooked, other dishes too fatty, oily, and lacking in flavor. It took 20-30 minutes for plain scoops of ice cream to come out. Their cocktail and food menu omit key descriptors that are quite misleading. It’s unfortunate this was the last meal of our trip—it was supposed to be the best, but ended up being the worst of the week.

Guys, they even had the nerve to charge a 25% service charge of your total check and wanted us to give them additional tips. And the taxes are way above average.
