My husband and I had a relaxed and absolutely delicious experience in this restaurant. The fish was fresh, the freshest! The service was warm and very attentive. Complex aroma in the sauces on the specialty rolls! Our eyes were sparkling during the meal. We will be back.

Excellent dining experience! The service was excellent, my drink was always full and I did not have to wait long for my food. When the food arrived, it was a very pleasing presentation and the steak was excellent. Everything was prepared perfectly! When in the area I will go back.

Super fresh sushi and sashimi. Nice sports bar vibe if you like eating Japanese food and watching ball games. We went here to celebrate and were not disappointed! The variety of fish was great and the pickled wasabi was a great touch. Where have we been all these years…we will be back for sure!

Mmm that’s tasty sushi here. And also we find options for a kid, and it appeared to be chicken which he liked. I myself must say that “Sexy Victoria” is one of the my favorite now. Plus good service and nice atmosphere

Decent price, sushi as fresh as it gets and taste-wise is immaculate. Was recommended the hamachi roll by the staff and it was loaded with hamachi in and out. A bit weirded out with the mango in the poké but was surprisingly refreshing. Big fan of the sauteed edamame as well and their softshell crab is real juicy. Plus the Uni is real fresh and creamy. Absolutely recommended, you wont regret it. The 1 star reviews are mostly disgruntled, weird, nitpicky costumers.

If you're in search of your next hot sushi spot, look no further than Ginza Sushi, on Meridian & Hillsdale in San Jose. It is a chain restaurant, but you wouldn't know that from the service or the food. This restaurant features great customer service, excellent sushi, and an over all good atmosphere. Although I've been here many times, this particular trip was just the wife and I, so that I could build a review for just two people. Depending on how into Sushi you are, I highly recommend starting with the salmon skin hand rolls. They are honestly the best I've ever had. The salmon skin is crunchy and what I like about theirs, is that they leave a little bit of salmon meat attached to it to make for a heartier roll. Second on the menu, was the hamchi kama, it's the meaty jaw bone of a yellowfin tuna, grilled. It's served with a sweet & sour, lime ponzu sauce that is to die for! If you're not familiar with how to eat it, feel free to ask! as there is lots of hidden tuna steak in the bone structure, but when dipped in the lime ponzu, it will make you do a dance. Baked mussels were next served over rice, nice and hot, with a Sriracha mayo that is to die for. If you take someone that doesn't like raw fish, this is a perfect dish for them. Lastly, we had the Blanca roll. We Like our Sushi spicy, and this one didn't disappoint. I won't go over the ingredients as you can see them on their menu. Overall it was a great dining; great sushi, in a decently decorated space, watching the NBA playoffs. Price wise, for these 4 items plus two large Hot Saki's and two large cold beers, it will run you about 60 bucks plus tip. And yes, we took a little home, lots of food! Parking is hit-or-miss as there are a lot of restaurants and businesses in this strip mall, but I've never had to park far. They offer indoor / outdoor seating oh, and don't require a reservation. Try them out! I don't think you'll be disappointed.

So, this place produces great quality food. The staff and service is great. The gals are attentive and friendly. The food is great. We tried the hamachi kama (tuna collars) the shoshito peppers and the chef’s special sashimi platter. Everything was amazing. This place is a must for those who like the traditional a little more than the mainstream sushi roll joints. Though they do have rolls and they did look good we didn’t indulge. Definitely check it out. It’s a winner.

This place was DELICIOUS. We made it there just after 6pm on a Thursday but there wasn't a lot of people at that time so we were seated quickly. The waitress took our order within 10 minutes of waiting and was very helpful with the menu items. We had ordered a bento box and 2 rolls, one was the "Climax" and the other was "Ultimate Shrimp Delight" both were 💣

Everything was delicious and fresh. I ordered tempura and a specialty roll. My only complaint was the roll said it had micro greens on it and that meant cilantro in reality. Not my favorite but I was able to pick it off. Service sad friendly and prompt and the restaurant is open and airy and very clean.

We had an awesome lunch. The service was great, everyone was friendly and very attentive. The restaurant is cozy and relaxing. When you visit you should sit in the booth seats, they are comfier than the chairs. The food is plentiful, you can share a meal and order something else you want to try. We tried the garlic edemame (snow peas) it was delicious 😋. If you love Japanese food this is a must try.

Craving a quick sushi dinner we ended up at Ginza Sushi which happens to be a quick walk away form our abode. They have ample parking spots around though we didn't need one as we walked in there. Happened to be a weekday and it wasn't too crazy in there and we were seated right away. The ambience at Ginza Sushi strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The interior is tastefully designed, with subtle lighting that creates an intimate dining environment. Coming to the rolls/food, we happened to order the following: The house salad along with miso soup followed by Orange Blossom, Sexy lady, Sexy Victoria, Johnny Roll and Bianca roll. It could have been that particular day but the Sushi rolls didn't taste authentic and looked to be overly filled/packed with thick rice. We took a bit to get through them though usually we are very quick in finishing these one after the other. Hopefully it was one off day and maybe it'd be a much better experience next time. That was just the food though. The service was off the charts good. We asked for the popular ones, the spicy ones, crispy one's etc and were given appropriate responses to each of those in helping us decide in what we ended up ordering. Their warm and courteous demeanor makes you feel like a valued guest. Hopefully next time!!!

Great local place to get sushi. They have some really unique flavors. Rolls were slightly small for us but overall I would go back. We got the hamachi delight (I have never had a refreshing roll like this, highly recommend) , dragon roll and fantasy roll. Really good service, has a cool atmosphere with a lot of parking and they have a lot of options to pick from. Priced fairly.

First time here. Very good. No frills, but tasty. Quick service. Fresh food. Plentiful portions at a decent price. Definitely coming back. I loved the soy sauce served out of traditional soy sauce decanter

Instagram led us to this sushi place in San Jose. I immediately noticed that the restaurant was pretty empty, which surprised me because of their instagram following. After being seated, we showed them the videos they posted on Instagram and specifically asked for those rolls. My partner showed them a video as well and they said they didn't have that one either. The server said those rolls aren't on the menu. I questioned why they're being posted if they're not available. The server was kind of enough to go ask someone who would know if they were available. The server came back to tell us that those are "special" rolls and are not available. I told them that they should post the rolls that we can order on Instagram instead of posting rolls which are not available to order. It's obviously not the server's fault. This is a suggestion for PR and their management team who is posting false advertisements. After having no choice, I ended up ordering the crazy mango roll. He ordered the paradise roll. Oddly enough, they brought out our rolls separately. We tried several rolls, but the one that was delicious was the crazy mango roll! We ordered it twice because it had a wildly delicious flavor :) I'd only recommend the crazy mango roll. Overall, it's disappointing to drive to a restaurant to order what we had seen on Instagram to be told it's not available. Plus, the rolls were so tiny lol definitely smaller portions than other places.

This place just recently opened and it is a very nice looking place. Really liked the layout and wall art. Not sure if just came at a bad time or what happened but the sushi and sashimi didn’t seem fresh. The baked rolls were falling apart because of too much sushi and sashimi was not super freshly cut it seemed. Hope they can turn it around so the food trumps the styling of the restaurant.

Nothing exciting here, just your average neighborhood sushi spot. Rolls were heavy with rice, lacking contrasting textures. Although the rice was sweet and sticky, too much of it overpowered the fresh cuts. Some rolls are better than the other, while the menu has limited choices compared to similar offerings. Deep fried rolls were soaked in grease, making them unpalatable. Although the fresh cuts were enjoyable.

Not sure how anyone gave this place more then two stars. I was looking forward to my sushi date after months of not going out. However this place left me unsatisfied and feeling ripped off. Some rolls priced at over $17 bucks came out tiny as if the fish itself was starving skinny. The salmon on top was cut soooo thinly you could hardly taste it. I know Covid is hurting a lot of small businesses but charging more for less isn’t the way. Most of their restaurants still offer what they advertise and they seem to be busier then ever. The edamame was over salted. The chicken karagge was dry dry dry. Served with ketchup! I have never seen ketchup in a Japanese restaurant until now. On top of that it didn’t even taste like karagge it was just literally cup up chicken fried blandly. It’s a problem when you spend 60-70 on dinner and leave feeling hungry.
