As crazy as this sounds, fried chicken made in a gas station is pretty awesome. No joke. This feels like some kind of weird urban secret that I accidentally stumbled onto. Next time I'm getting the biscuits and the chicken sandwich too. Heck, I should grab a fountain drinks and desserts from the convenience store section of the shop and make it a full meal for the family. Only reason I'm giving it meh ratings for atmosphere is, well.... it is a gas station after. 🤣 Would be hilarious if this place gets a Michelin star one day. If a subway sushi place in Japan can be Michelin rated, this place can be too. (Hey, Michelin folks.... I'm looking at you! Tires, travel, gas station, historical connection....why haven't you showed up yet?)

I used to get this chicken at Tracy before they open this location. Since I knew this location, I usually go here for chicken. The staffs are super friendly and the chicken is better than KFC for me. I went there today to pick up some wings and somehow someone accidentally took my order. The staffs there were so sorry and decided to gave me some free wings. 10/10 for the staffs

Well the customer service was great. Bogsie was very helpful. The fried chicken was on point. Nice and double crunchy & crispy. I say if you haven't tried it, i would recommend. An i would recommend trying the chicken cracklings too with the cajun seasoning. I will definitely coming back to buy again. Way Better that Popeyes & KFC. Thanks krispy krunchy chicken.

Believe the hype - the fried chicken is easily as good or better than the usual competition--the seasoning is somehow more flavorful. We'll stop by here to get the chicken for a quick dinner instead of the more well-known name chicken across the street. [Update] Months later, we are still coming here to get chicken. My latest favorite is their big, plump chicken tenders! But we will usually pick up whatever is on sale at any given time. [Update] Even more months later, we are still buying! [Uodate] A year later, still at it.

It’s great tasty chicken but a little greasy. The chickens are verified Halal but not the corn dog.

I ordered the Cajun tenders and they were pretty good. One tender was a bit on the dry side but overall some darn good chicken. Kinda sketch location but it's a gas station so what do you expect. Definitely worth a try if you are nearby.

I liked the fried chicken. Definitely crispy and crunchy! I ordered the 8-piece to try. I also got a bucket of Jollibee regular fried chicken (they ran out of spicy fried chicken...huh?) on the same day. Price-wise, Jollibee is double. So, I went home and all my family members tried them. We all agreed that the Jollibee fried chicken is more flavorful whereas the Krispy Krunchy fried chicken is salty. Try it out!

Unlike the Krispy Krunchy Chicken on Oakland Rd, the wings I purchased from this gas station stop were not freshly re-fried after ordering. The chicken was dry, the wedges were a little stale, and the honey biscuit was falling apart. The food likely sits out longer than at actual restaurant locations. This was a pretty disappointing experience when I was expecting the delicious food I enjoyed multiple other times from the one on Oakland Rd. I wouldn't come to this location to get a good KKC experience.

Had my first Krispy Krunchy Chicken from the Hayward location (Hesperian blvd and W Winton Ave), and it was absolutely juicy delicious. Reminded me of the Church's chicken back then. My recent purchase at Aborn Rd and San Felipe Rd seems to be much saltier than the above Hayward's location. I'll have to try Hayward's again to see if it's really that great to compare.

They inject seasonings into the chicken to make sure it doesn't taste dry. My thigh piece had weird orange goo coming out of it. This is gas station food. Next time I'll just get a frozen burrito. No pictures,was to gross looking.

I've never had gas station chicken before. But, don't knock it until you try it. Perfectly cooked, Juicy, and seemed freshly cooked. Biscuit, was a little to sweet for my tastes. But, overall 4.7☆'s. 2 pieces and a Biscuit for 5 bucks. 👍🏼 UPDATE: 8/15/2022 Whent in on a Monday morning around 10am to get a 3 piece. Horrible experience. Biscuit seemed under cooked and stuck to my teeth. Chicken was nasty and greasy AF couldn't finish it. Seems like it was old chicken from the night before fried in oil that wasn't hot enough. Will not return to this location. North Park for the win..
