Yoon Kee Chinese Kitchen

It's just a small restaurant in a strip mall but they definitely serve some of the best Chinese food in the area. Very tasty, and such huge portions that even though prices have gone up recently...like everything else...they still deliver great value!

Okay, this isn't a nice Chinese restaurant, but it is one of those places you learn to depend on. All you can eat buffet and extremely cheap meals with huge portions. Enough food to feed three people for under $7!! tastes great, CANT BEAT THE PRICE!

This is a tiny hidden gem within SJC. They’re located in a parking lot that could use some love. This isn’t a buffet. It may have been before COVID, but things change. If your familiar with Sam Wu in Irvine…this place is better. This is a must go in souther OC. I’ve lived in SJC for 2 years and just learned about this amazing place. There’s a reason locals keep it to themselves.

What can I say, it was a good place with good food. Lots of choices, didn't keep me waiting and cheap compared to other places. Over all it deserves 5 stars, would go again.

Wow, this Chinese buffet style really 🔥. The noodle fresh, vegetables fresh, chicken fresh. They have some desert like fruit. For $8, I think I found the best spot when am arround Laguna. 5 Stars.

Exceptionally good food (limited to Chinese/asian fare on the buffet) for such a small location and the prices are far below what the level of food quality and freshness that they provide is worth, prices at 1.5x price is still a bargain for this hidden gem!

All you can eat buffet has a huge selection, and it is more that a great deal, the beef and brochli is fresh, the fried chicken pieces are soo good, and did I mention its super cheap, and they have beer also.

Amazing buffet with all the staples on it. Menu items available are just as amazing as the buffet. Dine in or carry out I highly recommend both!

Great food at an affordable price! This is a great little Chinese food place, can be takeout or buffet. The food is fresh and good, made in small batches so it stays fresh. Service is great, everyone is really nice. The chicken wings are great, and the broccoli and beef is amazing. My teenage girls loved it too and they can be picky about Chinese food.

Her response was... I have egg drop soup. Strike two. I ordered lots of food and soup. Home run. It is a mountain of food (essentially all you can eat) with eggsellent soup. Yummmmmm. I will come again.

Great food at an affordable price! This is a great little Chinese food place, can be takeout or buffet. The food is fresh and good, made in small batches so it stays fresh. Never had their buffet but order take out from their menu. Food is very good.

This is a hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. Very inexpensive all you can eat buffet for $7 All day. Good selection of meat and vegetable dishes. Has a some fruit and gelatin for dessert. It is on the small side, but it hits the spot for lunch or dinner.

They have a tiny little buffet, and seems to be quite popular with the town. Nothing was way too good, but nothing was terrible.

It's OK but not worth the drive. If you live in Laguna or Mission Viejo I would say skip this place. The rice and noodles were very bland and the food overall wasn't good at all. The people were very nice but if you want good quality Chinese food unfortunately this isn't the place.

I have been in California for so long and it is the first time that I eat the worst Chinese food in the world, I do not return again, the rice with only Chinese sauce, the teriyaki, the chicken in a sauce that tastes bad, the old orange chicken and the soft drinks hot

PLEASE INCLUDE IN THE VEGETABLE/TOFU SECTION OF YOUR MENU THAT MEAT CHUNKS ARE IN ALL OF THE MEALS. One of the things I ordered was a tofu dish in the vegetable section of their menu. It came with chunks of chicken in it which gives me an insane stomach ache and insures I'm spending the foreseeable future on a toilet. When we called back to say the meal was incorrect they told us that dish comes with chicken in it, the tofu dish in the vegetable section on the menu had always had chicken in it despite nothing in the category, type of meal, or description of the meal saying anything about chicken being in it. They said they'd remake it for us, but we had to come to the restaurant ourselves to pick up the meal they very clearly messed up and were for some reason lying to us about. I really wanted to never order from these sales people again, but my dad said we spent the money and went and got it even though I begged him to just forget the sales people ever existed. Now I have to eat some most likely chicken juice tainted meal because my of my dad and this greedy restaurant. I blame the restaurant, not my dad. You were wrong, you lied to us, you accused of of not reading the menu correctly, and you made us drive there to correct your mistake. I hope my parents order from one of the many other chinese places in the future. I normally wouldn't write such a salty review because I'm a lazy SOB, but you were complete jerks to us over some food you screwed up and it really feels like you earned this review that probably won't mean anything in the end.

Saw the ratings aren't bad, but my delivered teriyaki chicken sure was. Maybe the worst Chinese food I've ever tried to eat. I actually threw away 90%. My opinion, try any other place instead.
