We loved our dinner here! The food was DELICIOUS!!! The main reason we wanted to leave this review was to mainly praise our waitress, Camila! She was so sweet and attentive and I noticed her working her butt off the whole time we were there. I can tell she loves her job because even though they were slammed, she still had a smile on her face and an amazing attitude. She was the highlight of our meal. Loved the music and the vibe there too. We were dancing a little throughout our whole meal. The food was very tasty too though!!!

Great service & delicious tapas! They had the best manchego cheese & ham croquettes that I’ve tried so far. The size (even if they’re tapas) is filling (compared to similar plates) if feel like snacking. However, they have some dinner plate options too. The ambience is nice & it has a beautiful decor.

I ordered To-Go just for dessert, so I didn’t get the full experience. However, the atmosphere was very nice and the staff were very helpful and efficient. It seemed to be a nice ambience to go and have a drink or dinner. The cheesecake was creamy and flavorful.

Don’t skip!!!! I don’t normally leave reviews but after dining here I knew I had too. Where to start? Probably the service, which was absolutely top notch. We had Sergio tend our table most of the time and he was absolutely excellent. It was my husband and I and our special needs toddler. She can’t drink out of an open ended cup so when he saw us struggling he offered a spoon, a straw and anything else to help us. We let her watch TV during supper and he even brought us extra menus as her “Television Station” as he called it😊) . She is quite grabby and he let her give him “high fives” aka smacking him and graving him. Sergio gave us food recommendations and indulged us in nice, but not overbearing conversation. He knew the drink, food, and dessert menu and was on point with his recommendations. We ordered Olives, Garlic Shrimp, Chorizo, Iberian Surprise (Pork Neck), Sirloin (which is more like a roast), Oxtail, and the Basque Cheesecake. When our plates were dirty, the wait staff was quick to get us clean plates, new silverware, and cutting knives when appropriate. My favorites were the shrimp and oxtail and of course the cheesecake 😍 . My husband loved the pork neck. My only suggestion is that there is extra bread to lap up all the yummy sauces with each dish - because I was seriously licking the plate clean and slurping the sauces. It was delicious 🤤 . Definitely check this place out. 3-4 tapas would likely fill a couple. Serving sizes aren’t small but aren’t huge. We ordered the first 3 then the next 2 (not counting the olives and cheesecake). Everything was fantastic and the staff genuinely seemed happy to be there and took pride in their work. Would 10/10 go back and would likely be the only place I would absolutely recommend going back to (we stayed in San Juan for 5 days and had dinner out every night). Everything pictured except the oxtail!

5🌟 for service and overall vibe! I went here to celebrate my birthday and truly enjoyed my experience. The Maria Luisa cocktail was strong but delicious, and the tajin kick was a perfect balance. The sauce for the patatas bravas is one of the best I've had (and I lived in Spain lol). The croquetas were thiiicccc, the cheese almost read as a mashed potato texture (i say this with love, it was tasty!) but I didn't pick up much of the jam on. The sauce was good, I was wishing there was more! The only less-than-ideal moment was the oxtail, which could have been wayyy more tender. That's the dish I was looking forward to most but it was almost too tough to enjoy. Overall, I'd recommend this place, especially if you love tapas and vibes!

Absolutely amazing drinks! They craft all kinds of specialty cocktails that you will not find anywhere else. Highly recommend the margarita with sorbet ! Bartenders are super friendly and helpful. Food is amazing as well.

The meal was so good we asked to thank the chefs afterwards. Presentation was perfect. Bottles of wine are reasonably priced. We opted to get dessert at Anita around the corner because it is also pretty exceptional.

Super classy and romantic date spot. Loved the music, had a great sangria. Potato dish was amazing, tuna salad reminded me of my mother's.

Amazing place for a date🤍 Beautiful cocktails, amazing ambiance! We were seated in a booth and were greeted by Alexandra. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about menu. I really recommend lamb chops and batatas bravas🤍

I really wanted to like Catalina. The ambience and decor are a total vibe! Sexy, chic, and cozy. This place has so much potential to be a standout spot. Unfortunately, the food left a lot to be desired. The tapas-style dishes we ordered just weren’t executed well. The anchovies en vinaigrette came out dry and were the tiniest we’ve ever seen. The mussels were slightly overcooked, and the sauce was separated and foamy. The croquettes were watery inside, which was disappointing, especially for a Spanish-inspired restaurant. To top it off, they were out of cava on a Friday night. Suffice to say, I’d give Catalina another shot because the atmosphere but they definitely need to step up the food execution, presentation, and bar stock to match the vibe.

Beautifully decorated, great service, great atmosphere, below average food. If you are only going to the bar and a quick bite i highly recommend it. Ordered the croquetas, octopus (not good at all), and Rabo de toro. They are starting so i hope the get it right, and if they do it will be five stars. I will give it couple of months and come back. Hopefully then it will be five stars.
