Last year when I got married, we had them cater for our wedding. I was nervous about it but the food was delicious. They did a great job and I was grateful cuz my husband has many allergies. Chipotle is the only place my husband can eat if we go out. We eat here a lot and the staff is always accommodating. The food never disappoints. They are consistent and it is the only place we can rely on if my husband needs food outside our home. So thanks for feeding my husband.

I love Chipotle! All the ingredients taste fresh and the customer service is pretty great. Sometimes the sizes of the burritos will vary depending on who makes it, but that's the only "flaw" at this place. I recommend it for an easy, tasty lunch or dinner!!

Typical Chipotle with mostly fresh fast food that gets super busy sometimes due to the high student population. I like that they have a patio with lots of seating outside. Only thing this time was that the chips I bought were stale and burnt tasting. When I told the cashier she was a bit annoyed about it and said “they were all fried the same time” but traded me a new bag. Second bag was also stale but I think I remember that from last time too, so maybe that’s a thing here.. oh well :/

This Chipotle unfortunately is very slow and frequently has a line out the door. The restaurant is dirty and they seem to be out of many items often.

I see a lot of really bad reviews, I didn’t think this place was too bad but I will say I got a burrito and the rice was like.. solid. Either undercooked or had been sitting out for a long while. Besides that, my food wad made in a span of 10 seconds so that was nice. Overall mediocre.

Love Chipotle. Not too fond of this location, but have been many times. Only 2 actual nice people with personalities.. & one of the guys seems to work mostly in the back. The burritos get smaller each time we go. (I'm talking, many are giving half scoops & charging double meat if you ask for a full one. Not cool). This is the worst portion & attitude wise compared to any surrounding locations.

This is probably the worst chipotle I’ve ever eaten that. The prep area is dirty. Food blended in with other foods. The chicken was not fresh as well as lukewarm.

The store was pretty busy and the most of the staff was very friendly. I had to ask the girl 3 times for a missing quesadilla. Not a huge deal but the cashier kept coughing the entire time we were there. Not into her arm but into her hands and not washing them then touching peoples orders. Then almost worse coughing without covering her mouth at all. I struggled to eat my food after that.

I eat at chipotle a lot in Ca. This one was the worst. Crowded with students. Food was not to normal chipotle standards. It was edible but not their normal quality. I’d only go back if I was Really Hungry. For some reason Mexican Food is terrible in SLO and Morro Bay. Up your game Chipotle, you were slacking.

Out of chicken, white rice, lettuce, and guac. Back of the house was in no hurry to restock, chit chatting, moping around.. One person at the counter, she was actually working. Counter was pretty dirty, trash all over the outside seating area. Not a good look.

They were out of fajita veggies so I couldnt order my veggie bowl. My husband got a burrito which he said was good. Workers were a little slow, but polite. Probably needed a few more employees there like every other business around these days. Counter around food was dirty and could've used a good wiping down.

The place was pretty clean, the worker that took my order kinda skimped on the protein as I ordered an adult quesadilla it was like 35% meat too 65% cheese. I also went to use the bathroom inside the chipotle, there was three workers inside??

Inconsistent. Sometimes they severely undersalt ingredients like the rice, which makes my vegan burrito taste like literally nothing. This happened today and made me wanna turn around and get my money back. :/

Convenient location close to the embassy suites hotel. Food is good. I came in late in the evening the first time and they were out of black beans. The next time that wasn't an issue. Dining area could be a little cleaner.

The lady serving me gave me like half a spoon full of rice barely covering the bottom but i should’ve just left it because this was the stalest rice I’ve ever eaten. Some pieces were rock hard. The carne asada was good though.

Chipotle has always been generous with portions. However today its about half of what they used to serve and no longer taking cash. If this is the new policy we will not be back. Customer service was good and the restaurant was clean.

My burrito was so small it was ridiculous. I was charged for a veggie burrito but I didn't even get veggies. Restaurant was really dirty. The manager was talking so loud to customers about orders. I thought I would get a burrito on a budget but just go somewhere else. For the size of my burrito I actually paid more.

Chipotle is awesome, this particular location not so much. Ripe with inefficiency and carelessness, if you thought of stopping here for a bite on your way, drive the extra 10 miles and go elsewhere. So we saw the line and decided to order online to save time, the estimate was about 30 mins, we figured even if it was slower than actually waiting in line was worth it to avoid it. Placed the order and waited, 40 mins later went to ask about the status to find out it hadn’t even been started yet! Skip to an hour since arriving, the order is finally ready, start opening everything, here comes surprise 2; we are served a single taco instead or the order of 3!! Talk to the lady at the register, who goes on to take down the order again and and decides to get the remaining two tacos added to the back order. Meantime forgets to mention that they’re out of the salsa. While waiting for the remaining two, we figure out the first one managed to skip the sofritas, so we order a decked out sofritas taco, we’re served a crispy shell with lettuce and cheese. The cashier is not the least bit apologetic nor forth coming. Not once did she attempt to fix the mistake personally, just stood around empty handed while shouting out orders to others. Let’s be clear, we’ve been to lots of locations and placed orders for everything ranging from a single bowl to a meal for 10. None of them have been this incompetent.

I’d rather be at the DMV! I have given them 4 chances with an online orders. All 4 times the food was not ready anywhere near the pickup time. Once it was almost 30 min late. There’s always a line for the online orders. While this is happening, the staff completing the online orders are taking their time and living their best life.

We come here often because our son likes it. We've noticed the portions are getting smaller and smaller even though they recently raised their prices. We were there Thursday night and could not believe what little food they gave our son. He ordered a burrito with no beans, but they only gave him half a scope of rice and three small pieces if meat. The guy said he can only give 4-oz. of meat, but appeared to be much less. He did weigh the portion but still refused to add more.

ordered a salad, paid, then realized they didn't give us salad dressing. Then was told they are all out. Definitely should have been told that upfront so could have ordered something different. They were also all put of the new garlic steak that was advertised with large posters around the store. (This was right at 5:00 dinner rush hadn't even occured yet) Take the posters down if you aren't going to have it. Same with some promotional lemonade drink that was advertised but not an option at our location. Chips were stale, unused to live chipotle chips, but I just threw them away they were so bad. (We asked for new chips that were equally bad) Giant puddle on the floor with a wet floor sign in one area but the puddle spanned like 12 feet and the floor was so slippery. It was disappointing - Chipotle used to be better than this.

Out of town and have grabbed food here 3 times in 2 weeks. First time ordered a salad with dressing - no dressing in bag when picked up. when I asked for it they said they are out. Second time for lunch, no issue. Third time 7:30pm ordered a salad while there, no dressing again, no sofritas, no apology and charged full pop for the salad when I basically was given a bowl of beans lettuce and rice. Kids working there are pretty nonchalant and rude about poor product and service but I’m sure they don’t care if it happens often.

I hate to come at a location, however this one is notorious for being so hit or miss. Specifically because the workers are not consistent. You can have patient people who make your stuff with care and others who make your burrito like they are on the factory line of a Boeing (no regard of whether it will keep together by the end of the ride). This time particularly a stout woman made my burrito as if her life was on the line. This was so fast that she did not drain anything and managed to spray me with corn juice as she folded the burrito. As you can guess it leaked so much it broke through the bag and messed up my other burrito. All I ask is that you keep the training consistent, especially if a double scoop of meat is $5 here.

We were there Sunday evening 4/28. The wait was longer than usual for our pick up order but that's sometimes understandable. Worse was the filth everywhere. Drink counter covered in food. Every table had food and or beverage debris. The bathroom was gross. And probably most disturbing was the gloves and paper towels on the floor around the trash can by the handwashing sink. When we finally got our food it was barely lukewarm as it was handed to us. If we weren't starving coming off a road trip we would have passed. Feeling super lucky we didn't get sick.

Wow! Didn’t want to believe the reviews I guess. I got exactly what everyone said, poor service, dirty, long line and out of meats and condiments. It’s like management is rationing daily prep. It’s not like they get stuff fresh daily… flipping open up tomorrows prep get people what they pay for, get higher reviews, better morale and more money. Seems like a small trade off for possibly a little food waste and adjusting weekly or bi-weekly orders. The 2nd star was for the food being tasty at least.

Yo this was disgusting. Rice was still hard and I thought they forgot to add my sauce but turns out thy didn’t add enough. Then the chips? They give you five chips. I’ve gotten at least half a bag each time I went to a chipotle but this one is gross 😷

At the time of our visit, this ranks up there as one of the worst locations we've been to! Drink station was a mess! Out of all agua Fresca & trash everywhere! Denied us a side of salad dressing, saying "they were out". Well, guess what? Make more! (I used to work at a Chipotle in college, I know how it's made!) Employees were downright rude & not caring about their job. Upper management should definitely pay a visit to this location & see that they get their act together! Shouldn't be a hard sell of a business trip as the surrounding area is lovely. Being a college town & well traveled stretch of road, their missing a trick having this be the only Chipotle in town & so poorly run at that...

When I finally received it, the guacamole was frozen solid and the bowl looked half-eaten — completely lacking in portion and presentation. When I first walked in, a staff member told me it was being bagged up, yet I still had to wait another half hour. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first disappointing experience I’ve had at this location. More often than not, they’re out of key ingredients like meat, guacamole, or even rice. This visit was the final straw. The inconsistency and lack of accountability are unacceptable. This location seriously needs improvement.

Got to Chipotle at 8:40pm. A full ONE HUNDRED MINUTES before closing time. Tried ordering some tacos and a bowl. They were OUT of hard shells, mild salsa, veggies and several other ingredients (which I didn't need). Why would I pay for a product when the staff clearly just wanted to bail early? So I didn't. Got my junk food next door at McDonald's. I hadn't been here in a while, but definitely won't be going back anytime soon.

You literally can stand by the take out shelf for half an hour before anyone even acknowledges you. It’s sad because if you’re polite you won’t get help you literally have to demand service especially if you are waiting for an order. Do better! Update your customers, tell them you’ll be right with them when you can. A little bit of communication goes a long way!

I have lived in slo for a while and never really have a good experience at this place. It seems like this is probably because there's a lot of college students working there who don't really care. The workers there give attitude to customers, so I started ordering mobile so I wouldn't have to deal with it. However, when I mobile order it seems like it takes forever...way longer than if I just were to order it in line. Sometimes they won't put the order out once its ready and it will just be sitting behind the counter instead of on the mobile order rack. So you could be waiting for your food 5-10 minutes after its already been made. This is a pain if you're on a timed lunch break etc. So it's a lose-lose situation at this point. Probably won't be going back for a while.

Consistently the worste chipotle I've been to , and I like chipotle a lot. Dead with 8-10 people working and it was filthy all the table were dirty and the trash was overflowing. Steak was trimmed the worse I've seen in long time and through my tacos away. Trash on the floor. Place is disgusting , I'll keep driving the AG or Paso when I want Chipotle

This specific chipotle location is EXTREMELY SLOW, lacks work ethic, and overall terrible. Prepare to wait 30+ minutes for food… but they are probably out of everything anyway.

This restaurant is the epitome of substandard. Not everyone agrees but I think Chipotle is delicious, generally. This specific location is filthy, foul smelling, poorly staffed, and slow. It's always been worse than any other I've been to but it's managed to get even worse lately.

Extremely disappointed. My husband and son went in for lunch. EXTREMELY filthy and the trash cans were spewing!! Nobody wiped down and tables in the hour we were in there. I love chipotle but I was appalled. Hire a person to clean please...people can get pretty sick from the filthyness.

I come in at 7pm. They are out of tomatoes, guacamole, and chips. I was forewarned. Then I go to order and the girl talks so fast that I can hardly process what she is saying and doesn't really guide me through ordering. I partially feel like she was on drugs she talked so fast it was unbelievable. I work in customer service. I have managed restaurants. I am a server today. It was such a poor demeanor. Even when I am at my end I don't act like that when I am serving. I hope this staff can pull through and step it up.

Went by today, ordered a bowl there was only steak available everything else wouldn’t be ready for 20 more minutes. No fajitas, no corn salsa, no vinaigrette. I got the last of the sour cream, the guy behind me asked for some the worker said there is no more, once the guy paid, the same worker went a grabbed more from the back. He was being lazy and he was also very rude

Every trash can is always overflowing, bathrooms reek of stale urine, every table is almost always filthy, this location runs out of white rice and chicken for the day by 1pm. Cleanliness is equal to a city underpass.

I don't know who is giving this place 5 stars. This place is constantly out of ingredients and when they aren't they skimp heavily on portions. Not ever considered as a result. There are plenty of Chipotles that do it RIGHT! You all ought to as well. Disappointment is the name of the game here.

I dont think ive ever written a review before. This is the 3rd or 4th time in a row at this location ive been served sub par food. I spit out every cut of chicken and every cube of "steak" in my burrito tonight as they were all unchewable cartilage chunks and gristle. The place is dirty and disorganized. The staff seem entirely untrained and its obvious that the owner of this franchise has checked out long ago. Most disgusting burrito ive ever had, whether against other chipotles or unlicensed vendors. Never been worse. I used to love chipotle but this place sucks. I really hope im not sick as it wasnt even lukewarm either.

Food was ok, portions mid. Make sure to avoid the big, pudgy, pale guy with glasses that works the front sometimes. He just looked at me and didn’t help me. I had to wait for another employee to help me.

Whoever does the ordering for this store shouldn’t be a manager of a their own sock drawer let alone the only Chipotle store in a busy college town. I’ve never seen a store that’s consistently out of everything this much. It’s to a point where I’m writing this review because it’s legitimately concerning. Today is rice and guacamole, beef, tortillas yesterday fajita veggies, no chicken. Everyday they are out of the most important components to make any meal here. I feel bad for the employees because they are the ones that have to explain this to customers. Not the manager hiding in the back room.

have celiac disease(gluten allergy) as does my daughter. Chipotle is our "go-to" place for healthy, gluten free food where our allergy concerns have always been treated with friendliness and cooperation, no matter which Chipotle we went to. This one has always cooperated in a friendly and expeditious manner. This time was different. The young lady that helped us was flat out rude and REFUSED to change spoons out for the desired ingredients, maybe 6 or 7. She claimed it would take too long but there was nobody in the store save for one other customer! When I explained the situation she STILL refused to help, and wasted so much time there WAS a line of customers behind us eventually. I finally asked for the manager, who overrode the rude employee, but I still don't think she understood how bad the employee was, almost seeming to make excuses for her. If the employee who was being a jerk was so concerned about taking too long, she could have had the utensils swapped out in 60 seconds, yet she stood there and argued with us for minutes, while customers came in and lined up behind us. Never have i felt so unimportant as a FREQUENT customer.

Poor customer service. Cashier seemed upset to do the job. Ordered the chips and she refused to give us any salsa. She seemed resistant to give us the cup for the soda we ordered. Update: asked to submit my experience by the owner at the corporate site and the site does not work. After we fill in all the info along with the receipt, the next button does not work.

I went to this location and ordered a chicken burrito earlier today. I got food poisoning tonight from said burrito. The staff have been very rude to myself and others on at least two different occasions this year, ignoring us or snapping at me when I asked about one of the options on the menu. Finally, I have previously waited over an hour for a single order. Do not eat from this location. Don’t do it.

Oh my goodness. As a store manager myself I understand that you want to find areas to save. But this is ridicules. I ordered 3 tacos. I didn't know I was ordering a sampler. The young man started to load my tacos with a few strands of meat and juice. He would pick some up and then dropped it back in because he had to many strands. Wow I was blown back by this. I only got a taste of the meat. No real meal. I'm a small guy and don't eat much, but come on! For the money terrible portions. I must say, the customer service was great.

Line out the door. One employeee working the line (who seems new and was trying) needed to be shown how to wrap a burrito. Meanwhile plenty of employees in the back. I initially tried online order but not accepting orders, but while in line see online orders being taken (I’m assuming they used DoorDash while I tried direct). Took 30 minutes to get my food. They were out of fajita peppers and when asked if they could provide extra corn salsa in lieu of that provide an additional “tablespoon” extra. Literally out of or minimal supply of fajita mix, tomato salsa, corn, guacamole. Employees were nice, but whoever is managing the supplies and schedule for employees need to be informed.

This location has gone downhill over the last couple years. Just returned home with my takeout order. Had to wait way too long to pick it up after it was already packaged and ready. I get that you're trying to avoid stolen orders, but there's no reason that it should take so long to distribute ready to go orders. Had to go back to the location because they forgot the chips, this is like the 3rd time in a row theyve forgotten something. Finally open up the burrito bowl to find a single hunk of unshredded carnitas, half a scoop of beans, on overcooked rice. This used to be a reliable place to grab a meal, but now it's not worth the price or hassle.

There were more people behind the counter than in line and it still took 15 minutes to receive a meal. They were, and are consistency out of rice, beans, and protein. I’m not trying to convince anyone if chipotle is good, it is, this store is just about the worst example of one that I’ve been to. Posting so maybe someone in a managerial position can wrangle in the awful service and poor food prep. Drink station is also consistently out of napkins, utensils, and looks messy.

The WORST Chipotle ever! I have written to the corporate office at least three times & nothing ever changes. Always out of multiple items & the place is always a mess! Trash is always overflowing & tables dirty. There seems to be enough employees. Is there a manager? Such a shame because Chipotle has always been a favorite in my household.

I went here with my parents, they had never been to a chipotle before. I ordered 3 salads about 1/2 way through the order I said oh ifr like the dressing for the salad as well at that point they decided to inform me that they were out of dressing!! The dressing is what makes it good imo. They didn't care or apologize, I wish they would have told me when I ordered that they were out, I would have ordered something different!! Communication isn't that difficult.

The place is not clean. The staff looked unhappy. They were a bit curt with the customers. They were out of chicken, which I found amazing, I have never seen a Chipotle without chicken. The carnitas were barely warm. The coke dispenser was broken or out of coke. I tried to eat my bowl but tossed it as the combo of a dirty kitchen and cold meats is not for me.

They are literally always out of everything on the menu, half the time I go they are out of rice, yes both white and brown, they are out of chicken, out of steak, they are out of literally half the things on the menu. Staff are always in an annoyed mood. One time I ordered a bowl with half chicken and half of their new brisket option because I wanted to try it, but got charged for a full brisket bowl, which is significantly more expensive than the chicken. On the chipotle app when you get half one meat and half another they average out the price but in person they can’t? Just go to a local Mexican food place instead, you’ll get much better customer service, better food, and for probably a cheaper price.

I come here periodically hoping the ownership is listening but since nothing changes I doubt it. This is the dirtiest restaurant I’ve ever seen and it is consistently gross. Dirty tables, floor, food service areas are never wiped clean, no cares!

This place literally only ever has 1 person working. Their lines are always wrapping around the entire store and it takes forever to order. They currently have 3 people working to go orders and 1 person both making the orders and working the register. One of the worst managed chipotles I’ve ever been to.

Whoever is in charge corporate wise should start caring a lot more. The workers in there do more work than you, then they fall victim for serving skimp portions and cross contamination because they haven’t received proper training but they for sure were told to give small portions! Make it make sense, hangry people are worse then a Manager complaining about lack of lettuce in the store.. no disrespect, but I’ve did my time in the restaurant/food industry and there’s better ways to go about many things.

Worst experience I have had at any chipotle. Employees who act and look like they hate their jobs. The rice was ice cold and ruined my burrito. Place is a mess and what I have learned from being in the food industry is that if the front of the house is a mess then the back of the house is for sure worse. Won’t be back anytime soon. Where’s management???Management doesn’t care considering all the bad reviews for such a long period. Won’t return !!

We were ordering here relatively often. Not anymore. We ordered online and they only filled half of the containers with food. It's basically robbing your customers if you decide to cut portions in half because they can't supervise their food while it's being made. Ownership should be ashamed.

With a heavy heart I have to downgrade from 4 star to one. Since my last rating 5yrs ago, this Chipotle in SLO has just been going down hill. The staff has consistently been impolite, I do recognize the very rare occasion a few exceptional individuals may briefly make a short appearance. Management appears to be lacking or nonexistent, leaving customers frustrated. It seems like the owner isn't showing any interest in improving the situation. Furthermore, the restaurant has been continually plagued by issues with inventory and stocking. They frequently run out of essential ingredients, including a notable incident where they had no tortillas available, that's like Taco Bell is out of taco shells, oh wait, they constantly run out of them to. The place's cleanliness is often questionable, even when it's not busy and has a full staff standing behind the counter, not one wipe of a table. There are concerning signs of a general mess in the serving area. To make matters worse, I once found myself waiting for a pickup order for a whopping 55 minutes. After flagging down a staff member for an update, they assured me it would be ready shortly. Thirty minutes later I asked the same employee that was on his way out to lunch, (because he told me so) and left me standing there, waiting. Despite being told my order was being prepared, it took assertive communication to convey the delay. They eventually admitted my order had been mistakenly taken, resulting in an extra 12-15minute wait for it to be remade. My only reason for continuing to dine here is that my 12-year-old son enjoys it. Despite my consistent dissatisfaction with the overall experience, I return to accommodate his preferences and try to hide my disgust for his sake (still working on that). Despite the staff, stocking and overall dirty appearance of the place, the food still maintains some good taste, largely thanks to the turn-key recipe provided by corporate, given the limitations caused by the missing ingredients you'd typically want in your food. In an attempt to address these issues, I called the manager, only to be met with a dismissive response, even bordering on indifference. No surprise there, this only adds to the frustration. My experiences at other Chipotle locations have been consistently positive, and leaves me wondering why this particular one falls so far below the basic standard of customer service. It seems that the owner is either disengaged, indifferent, or, given the nature of being in a college town, relies on a revolving door of new customers due to the college environment, which often results in subpar service. However, for over the 5 some odd years of not seeing any change and even getting worse, It's possible that even Gordon Ramsay couldn't salvage the state of this place. I do hope they prove me wrong one day and I'll be happy to make this 5 star, I want it to be, I really do.

Today I went to Chipotle right around 7pm May 16, 2024. The first employee I go up to the counter to order a steak rice bowl where I couldn't tell the employee was a man or woman but had colored pink hair with surgical pierced ear hole earrings. The attitude of the employee was shrewd, unpolite, didn't really ask any questions but just threw the food and he or her put their dirty hands on the plate which was completely unnecessary as they have spoons for that. Then after she shoves the rice bowl to the next employee the cashier and he bags it, that employee noticed the attitude but he did nothing about it to apologize to me. It was just like it was so low-class service I just couldn't imagine going back here. They give you so little in food too as they appear to be trained to say would you like to pay extra if you ask for more. I think this has a lot to do with the new $20 minimum wage because if they've laying people off because of their expenses I'm sure these employees are working hours with less people then I'm sure they're covering up other people to run the business. However it's their business they're serving food and if this is the way they're going to treat customers after $20 an hour I don't know why but this is just horrible service. I can't imagine going into a restaurant and someone just doing the same thing. If you complain about it there they're all going to cover each in defense. So I will take this complaint to corporate headquarters I don't know if we'll do anything about it but I think it should be documented.

This is the second time I have been here in 2 weeks Where I waited in line for 10 min before I’m half way into the person making my burrito to find out they are out of guacamole and cheese. So I paid $49 for rice beans and lettuce. Bad management not run like a chipotle should be. Bummer for anyone that enjoys chipotle. They were unapologetic. it was like it was my fault that they were out of everything.. Not incredibly busy for how busy this place can be.

This Chipotle is a complete disappointment. The line is excessively long, and by the time you reach the front, they inform you that they've run out of more than half of the ingredients. Additionally, the portion sizes are notably smaller compared to other Chipotle locations. During ordering, the process feels rushed, and the staff visibly show annoyance if you request extra servings. Particularly, if you're served by a woman with short blue hair, prepare for an exceptionally small serving of chicken. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. I hope management does better.

I recently had a disappointing experience at the Chipotle in San Luis Obispo and wanted to share my negative review. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt chaotic and disorganized. The line was long and there were not enough staff members to handle the volume of customers. The service was slow and inefficient. The employees seemed overwhelmed and were not able to keep up with the demand. It took an excessive amount of time for them to take my order and prepare my food. I understand that Chipotle is known for its made-to-order concept, but the wait time was excessive and unacceptable. Furthermore, the quality of the food was subpar. The ingredients did not seem fresh and the portions were small. The rice was dry and the meat was overcooked and lacked flavor. It was clear that the food had been sitting out for a while, which was disappointing considering the high prices Chipotle charges. To make matters worse, the cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable. The tables were dirty and there was trash scattered on the floor. It seemed as though the staff was too overwhelmed to properly maintain the cleanliness of the dining area. Overall, my experience at the Chipotle in San Luis Obispo was extremely disappointing. The service was slow and inefficient, the food quality was poor, and the cleanliness of the restaurant was lacking. I would not recommend this location to anyone looking for a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.

We went in the evening, over an hour before closing, and they were out of everything. Went the next day, and they are shorting all the orders. I love chipotle, and I know how much is usually in the bowl. This was at least 1/4 to 1/3 less than usual, but the same price. They were out of lemonade, half the sodas, and the ice was empty. Worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to.

Have come to this Chipotle a handful of times over the past year and has not changed once how bad it is. Thought the app was glitching by not showing any protein options except veggies but got to the front door that literally said out of every protein accept the vegetables. It was 7pm. Most of the time had decent service but definitely had some annoying college kids act like they were too good for the place while blasting music in the prep area that everyone in the restaurant can hear. How are you always out of food for a whole year, please just look at the number of sales in a month just once.

Came in, there was a very long line which was no issue. Once I got the the front I asked for soft tacos, but did not inform me that there was no chicken as it was being cooked nor did they give me the option to wait. The store was also completely out of white rice. When I said that I do not want a different protein and that I only eat chicken, they crumbled my order up and threw it away. To top it off, i ordered a drink and their soda machine isnt even working which they did not inform us before purchasing the drink, i would not have ordered it if i had known Very disappointing service.

I'm a pretty big fan of chipotle overall. I go relatively often as it's a decent well rounded takeout option. I get the same exact thing every time I go. This was my first and probably last time going to the chipotle in SLO. The chips were stale, which sucks but does happen every so often. What really got me was the burrito bowl itself, it was barely half full! Pretty sure there was more cheese than rice (of all things to be stingy with?!). Wish I would've read the reviews because this seems to be a ongoing issue.

This place was so unsanitary and unclean. Only passing by SLO and this was a bad experience at a chipotle. They were out of chips, vinaigrette, and cheese by 8pm. I was almost disgusted enough to leave mid order. Please evaluate store managers and their priorities. Sorry for bad review but this is the truth.

The female managing the register was extremely rude! She has no shame nor accountability. I don’t know who the manager is but the place looks dirty and allows the team to treat people impolitely. I was very polite when asking for a fork and she answered with such a condescending tone that they were out. This was out loud in front of everyone in the restaurant. A customer next to me said “don’t feel bad, these people are the worst” he advised me to order online so that I don’t have to communicate with the workers. The girl managing the register rung me up wearing gloves then turned around and started pouring bags of chips.. touching the chips with the same gloves! That is very unsanitary and disgusting I will not be ordering online or going back. That girl has ruined my experience.

They say they are open till 11PM but I came at 9:45PM and they were out of: steak, Chips, salsa, chicken, queso and a few other items. Every time I come about an hour before closing the seem to be out of everything for the day. It’s clear the staff shuts everything down early so they can all leave right at 11PM If your operation hours say you’re open till 11 you should have everything in stock. Quit trying to clean early. If you’re open you’re open.

Man chipotle used to be great but it’s awful now. I thought this location in particular was bad and dirty, but I’ve got it several other places across the country recently and they were no better. No Meat! I wasn't actually able to eat here because they were out of all protein (meat) after 10 pm which is kinda normal as Chipotle isn't really open until 11, they just start cleaning up at 10 and want folks to leave. I went back the next day at 5 PM and folks were walking out saying "no protein." I went in and was told it would be a 30 minute wait for protein (meat) as they were all out! I've never been to a Chipotle that didn't have any meat! So this is a first. I gave up trying to go back the next day, even though I still wanted to give them a chance. I saw them cooking lots of chicken. Pathetic.

I don't mind punk rock music, but going through that burrito process and the way it was delivered to us, so mechanic like, and like customers do not matter, that is very dissapointing. And it is every time I go there. My husband just told me that it has always been that way there and that is why he stopped going there. Workers(guys) look like they are not happy there, or they have this ignorant and cocky attitude towards customers. Robots could do better. Defenitely not worth any tipping.

The fountain drinks are frequently broken/not working right. The tables are ALWAYS extremely dirty and covered in food with trash overflowing out of the cans. It seems like you get ignored if you order carry out. If you do order carry out, order like half an hour ahead or else you’ll be waiting. The workers are rude and annoyed all the time, can’t blame them though. They also have a tendency to hand out pretty small portion sizes for a 14 dollar burrito. Just go to a local Mexican restaurant, you’ll get better food and better service for the same price + supporting local.

DISGUSTING!! we went there tonight and the line was out the door, but we were so hungry and we traveled so we figured we would just wait. The cross contamination was out of this world. Food was everywhere beans splattered on the wall, trash and food all over the floor people would just throw their trash on the floor of the restaurant and the trash cans were completely overfilled! It was like a gas station bathroom. My husband refused to eat, which is probably smart because I’m sure we will all get food poisoning. I will never go back here and I warn anyone to steer Clear. They were out Of ice, cheese, dressing, and veggies. The rice was also plain white rice that hadn’t been cooked all the way so is crunchy. Never going back.

I've been coming to this Chipotle for years and while I still enjoy it, some parts are just not well done. My most recent time prompted me to write this review. It was pretty bad. This Chipotle typically is missing at least one or two items on the line. The soda machine is often broken. Even though it says they open it 10:30 a.m., many of the food items are not even ready by 10:30. The other day I went in there and the music was blaring loudly. It was awful. I asked the cashier if they could turn the music down so I could eat inside. She told me they couldn't because corporate wants them to have the music on loud. I ended up sitting outside instead, But I would have much rather sat inside. I don't know who runs this Chipotle but making your interior inhospitable is not the way to make me want to come eat there more. Most of the time the staff is pleasant and nice. There's been a couple duds but most of the time they do a good job as far as service goes. The food usually tastes pretty good. Occasionally the rice has been undercooked, and on a few occasions the beans has been undercooked also.

It was my first time going to this location. I order online, go to pick it up, get out to my car and open it and see it isn't mine. Name on the bag is not my name either. Had to go back in and wait 10+ minutes for my order because they had already given it to the wrong person. Not sure why it took that long since they had 4 employees in front, most not doing anything... and more employees in the back. I expected they would either let me keep the order I already opened, offer me some chips or guac, something... nothing. Not even an apology for getting it wrong. It became apparent that the reason why they didn't offer to let me keep the order I had already opened is because they just wrapped it back up and gave it to the guy when he came in for it a couple minutes later.
