The ground beef empanadas are the best, and the alonzos are hardworking people from Cozumel with many years of experience.

Great local place to get Yucatan style dishes. Menu plain and simple, cheap and delicious. Empanadas, Tortas, Salbutes, Panuchos kinda round up the menu. Mostly a long line out front which tells you it's a good place to chow down.
Empanadas at a good price and size. A wide variety on their menu. They serve a variety of beverages, both natural and soft drinks. Their space is spacious and can be consumed inside or taken out. Fast and good service. You'll meet the famous empanada chef, "La Tía." There's no parking, but the street is wide. The most convenient and fastest way for me is to order empanadas there. They offer spicy tomato sauces and a mild one, which by the way are both very good. Their cabbage is their house specialty. It gives the empanadas a perfect touch.
The empanadas and egg salbutes are delicious. The sauce they use complements the food very well—very spicy but also delicious!

Una tradición de varios años atrás tuvieron un bajón en la calidad pero de 2 años hasta ahora al mejorado mucho recuperando el sazón ojala no lo pierdan de nuevo
La comida se hace al momento, siempre está lleno por lo que recomiendo ir con tiempo.
Rico desayuno. Lo único que no me gustó esta ocasión fueron los panuchos.

The quality of the empanadas and food in general isn't the same. It's just dough, no meat, no cheese, nothing.
The garnachas are delicious! It's a shame they don't sell bean ones. And they only serve cabbage and one salsa that's infernally spicy! If they offered a milder salsa option and more choices for the empanadas, they'd be much better.

Pésimo servicio
The food is too good, I have no complaints, but the service is terrible. Today I went shopping and said hello, but neither of the receptionists responded to me or anything. Only the lady who serves the food responded to me. They don't even say "good afternoon," the rude people.
The espadrilles or salbutes are excellent... but what can I say... the young man who serves is very rude... I hope they address that small problem.
